“Kālola,” Kālola said, bobbing his head to show respect. His translator said that what he said next was “nice to meet you as well, Mr Reckson.”

“My name? I’m Lieutenant Ivan Dragunov of the KGB, it’s good to meet you, sir” said Ivan, probably also promising himself that he won’t do or say anything stupid anymore.

Kālola squawked something, his translator saying that it was nice to meet him, and Kālola stuck out a wing for him to shake. Kālola was still very taken aback by the grandeur of this place, and why Corivia would send him to a human country. He didn’t like humans. They too often disliked his country because it treated all animals, plants, and fungi equally.

Reckson would shake the birdes hand wondering why the US let an animal in, but meh they also let well-known KGB Officers in to so he would let this one go.

Noticing his laughter, Kālola swiveled his head, and wandered over. His translator was panting trying to keep up with him, but he was still able to translate. Kālola squawked a few times, and the translator said that Kālola was greeting them, and asked for their names. Kālola gave him a stare, so it was rather obvious that the translator had left something out.

Sima soon recognised from where the Person was from. Her face was a complete Mask. She ignored the man and finished her food and went to wash her hands and came back.

OOC: The KGB must have a full form right ? 'KGB' was originally the 'Komitet Gosudarstvennoy Bezopasnosti' or in English the 'Committee for State Security'. Is it the same here, is Guavan language basically russian or something because all names look Russian to me.

And the lack of a dedicated industrial base...

... Though, the speech seem to catch the group off guard, with Angelica giving a mild applause after it ends, just to let Damon and company respond.

Damon takes a moment to absorb the speech, he never found the need or reason for one, then he replied.

"It would be an . . . honor . . . to form an alliance with you, be it trade, defense, or another. If, uh, if you need any help with industry, Mercury Limited could assist you with it. I'm sure Diego would be glad to open in another country."

Gone was the hostile tone. Gone was the self-assuredness he showed earlier. Here was a man who seemed terrified. He saw something. Something that screwed with him.

Carl noted this, and he knew the cause.

"Sir, we should go before you have an . . . episode."

"Yes, yes you are, uh, right as always . . . Carl," it seemed as though he was gonna say another name, but whatever it was was torn away.
