To be honest even with a new map I still would claim the southern part because of the birds. As in my nation’s lore the Regency exists because the previous king, bird, specifically a Budgie flew out the government building’s window and never was found and the entire nation is invading places to find it.

I'll be cool with some coastal territory. Countesia would sending troops to help stabilise the area after the collapse of the government. and eventually annex it as an overseas province

You are saying that because you two decided to 50/50 split the land and leave small land claims for other nations, the majority of nations here want the new map to lay their claims on so that the first people who claim it don't automatically get to control all of DDSland because they were first to the party, Even if you "add" more nations to the previous map you would still have like 90% control over DDSland with both of the two nations
