What I'm thinking is I throw a BHB in the portal, then cover the portal with some Strong-interaction material in order to limit the radiation coming into Oshina.

what happens if we drop a giant columbite enclosure around the portal trapping them?

edit: never mind I did not read the post fully

They open portals on a whim, closing it is a problem, they have to dismantle thre gate that keeps it open, which is covered in what we believe is strong interaction material. in theory we could temportarily cut their forces off by firing a single photoid into the nearest star causing a supernova, and when they are scattered and need to regroup we could take capture portal and fire through it, taking advantage of the nebular dust.

The Rigel Pact may become canon in FT, but probably with a very different function due to the fact that the pact was mean to fix over-centralized, toxic, and stale conflicts, none of which are very prevalent in FT.
