"Sure!" Remarks Karl, quietly flicking the selector to 3-round-burst, the plink-plink-plink of three coins being tossed can be heard. Before Jean even can react, three coins are airborne, and 3 rounds are on their way

Jean kicks Karl onto the shoreline directly next to the searing lava and pulls out a sword, slicing the barrel off of Karl's gun.

"This ends now."

Karl reaches for his telefrag sword, it is now at full power, it begins to once again warp, now becoming none other than the fabled zweihänder Rissreißer, it glows a brilliant cool white as energy can be felt emenating from the blade itself. With a frenzied expression, he strikes at Jean.

She puts up a hand and blasts infrasonic waves at Karl, forcing him to his knees and giving him extreme pain.

Artist, who has woken up, yawns. "Lao'i, can you talk to the gamemaster and ask for something real quick?"

Lao'i nods, taking off and leaving Mary behind with artist.

She flies up to the gamemaster, and clears her throat to get her attention. Hello! do you have a translator? hello! I'd like to request a bottle of water? It's totally fine if not.

The words are instantly translated into a voice. Jean is confused at the strange request, but responds, "Water? Get your own!"

Lao'i is blasted back to the small island.

Out of sympathy, Jean directs a meteor to land next to Lao'i and open, revealing an acoustic guitar.

Then, directly below the Orb, a portal appears.

"Whoever makes it out of the portal first will be allowed to live. All others will die."

From the central pillar, swarms of Vultures appeared and surrounded the Portal.

Lao'i grabs the guitar, giving a silent nod of thanks to the gamemaster. She picks up Mary and Artist, an promptly breaks the sound barrier, hurtling through the portal, completely knocking the vultures out of the way.

The Portal immediately closes behind them, preventing the other contestants from entering.

Beyond the Portal was a door leading to Artist/Lao'i's universe along with a small cube with a note reading, "Congratulations on winning the Pit! Inside this cube is a scanner verifying your identity. After you verify, you will automatically be given the tile of "Master of the Multiverse" and the 100,000 NSD!"

Jean, satisfied with this outcome, increases the Infrasonic waves at Karl, forcing him to the ground.

Lao'i sits down, exhausted. Time to choose, I guess.

Artist shudders when she sees her portal. "So, you said you're a crime boss?"

She plays a few notes on the guitar, tunes it, pulls a crumpled peice of paper covered in music notes, and begins to play...

Jon and "Mary" find an escape through a crack in the arena. As soon as they went out of bounds, Cardmaster stole a ship back to earth. Upon reaching earth they opened a portal and to the old realm they went.

Jonathan Blue clenched his fist before leaving. He was a far cry from the day he entered the arena "This is not over; we will meet again someday."

Upon returning home they were celebrated by their friends back in Concordia.
