Republic of Certamen

"President Snow. It's time. Shall we deliver the order to each unit?"
"Do it." President Leo Snow answered without hesitation. It was just a word and a gesture. It determined the lives of countless people.
"All right, Sir." The deputy nodded and hurried out of the room. After leaving the room, the deputy delivered the orders to the military commanders, and commanders again gave orders to each unit.
The attack began at dawn.
80 F-420 stealth fighters from the Republic of Certamen Air Force stormed out of the airfield and headed to military bases, airfields, air defenses, and naval bases in Australia, Indonesia, the Philippines, New Zealand, and Australia. 20 fighter jets each headed for designated airstrike targets.
In less than two hours, airbase runways and naval bases in Indonesia, the Philippines, and New Zealand were neutralized by the bombing. In the case of Australia, all military bases were attacked except those near the South East.
Around the same time, the Republic of Certamen carrier strike group, which came 500 kilometers off the coast of New Zealand, fired more than 100 cruise missiles at military bases in southeastern Australia that were not attacked during the first raid. The attack also disabled military bases in southeastern Australia.
After successfully completing the attack, the Republic of Certamen's fleet took off its landing ships and helicopters and invaded the North Island of New Zealand.
The New Zealand Army, consisting of 50 NZLAV III infantry fighting vehicles, 30 Bushmaster armored vehicles, 4,000 infantrymen, and 20 L119 towed field guns, had to deal with Certamen's forces, a total of 10,000 infantry, 40 VT-3 tanks, and 200 VM-330 MRAP vehicles. The New Zealand army resisted desperately, but eventually lost the North Island and was forced to withdraw. New Zealand's army had 3,000 casualties and Certamen's army had 200 casualties.
Meanwhile, an invasion force of 50,000 infantrymen, 300 VT-3 tanks, 1,000 VM-330 MRAP vehicles, and 50 MH-52 Self Propelled Howitzers landed in northern Australia. Since most of the military bases in northern Australia have been neutralized, Australian troops are gathering forces in the less-damaged South East.
From Indonesia and the Philippines, Certamen's forces captured Sulawesi, Indonesia, with 10,000 troops and 20,000 troops, captured Mindanao Island. Currently, Indonesian troops are gathering to defend the capital and Jakarta Island, where most of the population is located, while Philippine forces are gathering surviving troops to build defensive positions in Panay and Samar.
After the first attack, the Republic of Certamen officially declared war on Indonesia, the Philippines, New Zealand, and Australia.
The United States responded immediately. The 7th Fleet in the Western Pacific began to move near Australia, and the 3rd Fleet also departed from San Diego. The 5th Fleet in the Indian Ocean is also moving to join.
ASEAN also declared its intervention after its members Indonesia and the Philippines were attacked. ASEAN is not a joint defense treaty, but the Republic of Certamen's next target is likely to be the rest of ASEAN, so ASEAN has decided to take preemptive action.

"...if the Republic of Certamen takes control of the entire South Pacific and Southeast Asia, our main trade route is likely to fall into their hands." When NIS chief Park Joo Tae finished the briefing, Prime Minister Chung Do-Hyung clasped his head.
"Then we'll get our weaknesses caught by them. We must prevent it from happening." Jeong Do-Hyung seemed to be deeply troubled.
"The United States and ASEAN have now declared military intervention. We need to do something against Certamen." Defense Minister Lee Hyeul looked at the prime minister and said.
"All right, let's put economic sanctions on the Republic of Certamen, and then..."
"Economic sanctions alone may not work. We must eventually set foot there." That were the words of Empress Lee Dam. Since today's meeting was a meeting that dealt with such an important topic, Empress Lee Dam also attended today's meeting.
"Your Majesty, but it could be too much for us to send troops there. Wouldn't it be better to impose economic sanctions first?" said Kim Se-Hyung, Deputy Prime Minister.
"But the Republic of Certamen is a military powerhouse, and if they win, our country and our people will be at their mercy. The livelihood of our people will be at stake, and our independence will be at stake. We need to step in now and help the United States and ASEAN." Empress was adamant.
"Your Majesty is right. We have to send the army now. If we don't take down Certamen now, it will be harder to deal with them later." The Minister of Defence helped Empress with her words.
The Prime Minister pondered something for a moment. Finally, he looked at everyone in the conference hall and said, "I think We've concluded. we're going to participate in this war."
