The Great state of Joseon wrote:Due to the massive bombing of the Novayan Navy and Air Force, Certamen's ability to conduct war has fallen to the ground. Power outages continued in major cities, and communication between military units was not smooth, confusing the command system. Paralyzed supply capacity has already sentenced the armoured units of Certamen to death, which have been severely damaged.
With the TV broadcasts cut off, the people of Certamen now distrust the government. The people now believe that President Snow will lose the war, as messages from the resistance have been broadcast nationwide twice before due to network hacking.
Of course, privileged senior military commanders and officials did their best to stifle public discontent. Security forces patrolled the city center day and night, and "people with suspicious behavior" were captured.
Meanwhile, Novayan's special forces will soon discover that President Snow is not at the presidential palace. Inside the presidential palace, there were only false bodyguards, and there was no sign of President Snow.
Around the same time, information from Relikans arrived at Joseon's intelligence agency. Joseon shared information that he believed was important with the Allies, including Novayan. Some of the information delivered included the fact that President Snow was hiding in a three-story building near the presidential palace.
Upon receiving information about the unlisted landing ship brigade brigades from Novayan, the 5th U.S. Fleet and India's fleet began to move west of Sumatra Island, Indonesia, for patrol.

However, it is unknown which three-story building near the presidential palace President Snow hides at, therefore the decision came to airdrop seven platoons of airborne troops and five additional special forces teams near Port Alejandro. It may take several hours, but once they arrive outside Port Alejandro, these assault teams would make their way and quietly engage any security forces they encounter in order to rendezvous with the Novayan special forces teams and prepare for a raid against any of the three-story buildings that were near the presidential palace. They would do this under the cover of darkness.
Novayan ground and airborne forces would arrive at allied beachheads and controlled airports from which they would begin converging on Port Alejandro. In addition, Novayan marines and naval detachments were among the ground and airborne forces. The ground and airborne forces would have helicopters, armored transport vehicles, tanks and self-propelled artillery, with mobile infantry aboard said armored combat transports. Of course, some of the mobile infantry included leg infantry, who are skilled in the rugged terrain that so dominates Certamen itself. In fact, Novayan ground troops were actually skilled in the rugged - both mountainous and tropical jungle - terrain that was also present in Novaya; and the leg infantry would serve as the hunters, recon troops and search teams who would engage any Certamen soldiers who might be in the jungle ahead. Unlike Certamen soldiers, Novayan troops wore combat camouflages, which allows them to blend in with the environment as well as make it harder for their foes to fight; Certamen troops, on the other hand, had literally pure white armor and outfits that makes them stand out, making them sitting ducks for the Novayan soldiers. A few UAV drones were also used to search for any Certamen troops hiding in the jungle.

Wherever it is, it is assumed that President Snow is hiding in either place.
At the same time, Certamen's forces, which are engaged with Novayan forces, are suffering increasing casualties. About 20,000 troops from Certamen are fighting the Novayan army, but they are specialized in policing on the mainland. Because elite combat-specific units were consumed on the Indonesian and Australian fronts, Certamen had no choice but to send non-elite units into combat, and they did not even receive proper air support or armoured support.
The weapons held by Certamen's army against Novayan helicopters, fighters, and tanks are, at best, just infantry firearms like rifles. Certamen's forces are resisting hard, but the inferiority of firepower is evident.

Official Communique of Novaya to Ayshire
The government of the Novayan Commonwealth would like to request the government of Ayshire to follow the things below:
I. Novaya wished to have its neutrality respected post-war - Even though the Novayan government had involved itself in the war, all we did was organize deterrence and patrol missions in Novayan airspace and waters. However, the arrival of two of Certamen's submarines had complicated the situation, which resulted in Novaya declaring war on Certamen. Once the war (and reconstruction efforts) is done, Novaya will return to being the neutral player, the third-way party every nation can interact with as long as its neutrality was respected.
II. Novaya wished for Ayshire to not cause trouble - Novaya had a lot of things already on its plate: maintaining and fostering cooperation and peace in the Middle East, performing humanitarian and development operations in Africa, focusing more on the domestic renewable energy sources and space efforts, et cetera. Novaya doesn't want to waste its energy on things that would bring trouble but also waste manpower, resources and funds.
III. No foreign involvement in Kivotos - Straddling halfway between Novaya and Japan is an island named Kivotos (or New Kivotos), which is home to the nation of Kivotos that did not participate in the Certamen War. New Kivotos also happens to be a protectorate as well as (paradoxically speaking) a protected state, due to the fact it is seemingly peaceful; it is also infamous for the fact people - especially students at and above age 15-16 - carry guns as they do cellphones. Contrary to popular beliefs, Novaya had NOTHING to do with forcing the people of New Kivotos to own guns; gun ownership is the result of the Cold War, which would've developed into World War III. Novaya had already a lot of things on its plate, and being the babysitter of New Kivotos is one of them. Ironically, New Kivotos had a surprisingly zero percent death by gun violence rate that even Novaya can't explain how or why; again, Novaya was only babysitting New Kivotos since the 1950s.
IV. No foreign involvement in Novaya - Again, Novaya had a lot of things on its plate. The Novayan government doesn't like its trust being taken for granted.
V. No trouble during reconstruction efforts in Certamen - Novaya wants to rebuild Certamen in a way that would allow it to function in the light of the global community. Policies that would benefit the people should be proposed, as long as no trouble is being brewed in Certamen by foreign powers. After this, Novaya will simply fuck off to do what it does best: babysitting New Kivotos, fostering and maintaining peace and cooperation in the Middle East, and focusing on the Commonwealth's own domestic front. In addition, Novaya would also focus on the humanitarian and reconstruction efforts throughout Southeast Asia, so long as every player agree to let Novaya fuck off into neutrality once more after that.

The Resistance advanced, using Self Propelled Howitzers, firing to the remaining barracks of Certamen's army and temporary defense facilities. They slowly started their advance from the outskirts of the city in preparation for Urban Warfare.
Certamen's army is 50,000 troops, but there are only 10 tanks and no air force. This is because the last several battles have exhausted the tank inventory held by Certamen's forces and wiped out the air force.
Certamen's forces are now resisting the city's structures and buildings as shields. They're trying to turn the battle into bloody Urban warfare.

We expect Ayshire to help rebuild the post-war situation. Before that, we request the following from Ayshire.
- The act of attacking the Resistance is considered an attack on the Allies.
- The Resistance is made up of citizens against the repressive dictatorship of the Republic of Certamen, and they are ultimately members of the Allies. We expect Ayshire to be a mature enough country not to attack citizens who resisted dictatorship.- The sovereignty of the Republic of Certamen must be respected.
- The Republic of Certamen is a war criminal state that invaded other countries, but it is also an independent sovereign state. We believe that it is desirable for the Republic of Certamen to remain sovereign after the war.- Please cooperate with the quarantine procedures of the Joseon’s fleet.
- Ayshire was once on the side of the Republic of Certamen, we need to stop Ayshire from launching an attack on the Allies. If you don't want Ayshire to antagonize the Allies, don't refuse to let our fleet surveillance on your fleet. A squadron of fighter jets will take off from our aircraft carrier to monitor your fleet periodically. We won't launch a preemptive attack on Ayshire, and I hope Ayshire doesn't attack fighter squadrons either. Otherwise, we have no choice but to pull the trigger.- Do not attempt to help the illegal regime in the Republic of Certamen.
- They are war criminals and dictatorships that oppressed the people. As the goal of this campaign is to oust them, We hope that Ayshire is wise enough not to engage in hostilities against the Allies.
If Ayshire accepts the above, we will not prevent Ayshire from attending post-war talks and gaining a say.
Novaya Equestria wrote:Realizing this, the Novayan special forces teams and airborne infantry platoons, grouped into commando teams, splits up to take the two three-story buildings. Fortunately, the assault teams were prepared for anything that might occur - even if it means sending several fireteams into the sewers to help prevent any more escapes.
Even more fortunately, the Novayan government saw it fit to paradrop troops right into Landing Zone Peril, located next to the presidential palace the assault teams initially thought President Snow was at. High-altitude paradrops would likely see ten more platoons being paradropped to help reinforce the assault teams; these reinforcements were equipped with light and heavy weapons that would allow them to take on enemy forces present. However, the assault teams still had one goal: the capture of President Snow, and whatever cronies he may have left.
Because the Certamen troops who were fighting the Novayan army were only specialized in policing on the mainland and not having proper air support or even armored support, Novayan forces took only few casualties. The fact Certamen's army only had infantry firearms to fight against the more mobile and more lethal Novayan forces demonstrate this massive inferiority, while the elite combat-oriented forces were in Australia and Indonesia. And since Certamen's facing the full wrath of the whole world meant it is now alone, that means Certamen's fate is sealed. At the same time, Novayan combat troops began ordering the Certamen soldiers tasked with policing on the mainland to surrender or be crushed.
Elements of the Novayan Navy and Air Force were then redirected back to Certamen.

Meanwhile, commando teams, who raided a building near an artificial forest, encountered several guards. The guards were a minority, but they began to resist strongly with automatic weapons. A heavy machine gun is installed in the hallway inside the building, and the rest of the guards are armed with assault rifles.
But their forces are only one platoon. That's a very small force compared to the Novayan special forces.
"Mr. President, the enemy has raided Safehouse. The sewers were also occupied by the enemy," the secretary reported to President Snow in a desperate voice.
"Resistance approached the city center. Our troops are being pushed out, and our enemies are advancing with tanks and artillery," one general reported in a stiff tone. Despite the loss, his tone remained steady.
President Snow closed his eyes for a moment and was lost in thought.
It was the end of his decades-long reign.
"How many guards are left now?"
"There are 30 people left. One platoon of troops. Enemies now have at least 10 platoons." reported the general in a slightly trembling voice at the words of President Snow.
President Snow raised one hand. "Tell them to stop. Stop the battle."
"But Mr. President..."
"It's over now. We should know how to give up. Tell all the guards to lay down their weapons and surrender."
After a while, shots stopped on the guards' side and a soldier shouted in English.
"We'll surrender! Don't shoot!"
Certamen now has only 5,000 surviving troops. Since the chief commander was killed in action, Certamen's officer, who took up temporary command, ordered the surviving troops to retreat. But there is no place for them to retreat. Port Alejandro is on the verge of being taken, and the remaining small towns in the provinces are also in danger.

Attention, everyone.
Our commando teams had launched an infiltration assault into Port Alejandro from the sea and then from the air. They managed to find President Snow and his cronies, and those Certamen leaders are under arrest. I have already given the commando teams their order: to bring President Snow and his cronies to his presidential palace and broadcast an end of the war.

Greetings comrades,
After taking in consideration of your demands the ACP has decided that they shall be followed accordingly.
With the Novayan request to stay out of Kivotos the ACP shall respect it's relationship with Novaya.
As for Novaya's missions in the Middle East and Africa they shall stay clear off but can't promise they won't stop the funding and arming of African communist and socialist parties. With Joseon's request to respect Certamen's sovereignty that shall be followed and will cause no trouble during reconstruction efforts.
The ACP does have one condition they will be following and that is arming and rebuilding the Certamen military.
The commanders of the 41st Landing Ship Brigade and the destroyer Knoydart have been given orders to fully cooperate with the Joseon fighters surveilling them.
We hope that this is satisfactory to your demands and wish you good luck in your future endeavors.
Signed,
Henry Smith, Minister of Foreign Affairs.

To whom this may concern,
We thank you for following our requests. We apologize for the F-words, it was only to emphasize the fact Novaya wants nothing to do with any events that would put a devastating strain on resources, manpower and time; we simply want to make sure that Novaya is able to function internationally without having to face problems. Novaya is not the global policeman like the USA, but rather the global mediator, peacemaker and peacekeeper.
Regardless, we would welcome your troops in Certamen to help rebuild the war-torn nation.
From: Government of the Novayan Commonwealth
To: All parties involved
Attention, everyone!
I would like to let everyone know that while the international military tribunal in Yanosama would begin in a few or several months, I would also like for all of you to know that the death penalty will not be used even as a sentence. We are already past the times of capital punishments, nor would we go about covering war crimes and classifying incriminating evidence like what happened in the International Military Tribunal for the Far East.
Rather, this international military tribunal - the International Military Tribunal for Southeast Asia - will be strictly overseen by personnel from the Novayan Ministry of Justice. We will not allow anyone to do ANYTHING that would make the IMTSEA a great repeat of the IMTFE, and we will be the ones to establish the guidelines on the proper procedures, policies and rules on the conduct of all parties' representatives and whatnot involved. Those found bribing, threatening or coercing tribunal officers will be kicked out or replaced by those at the request of the Novayan observers, and the death penalty sentence will not be used as we are already way past the times of barbarism so we are not going back to such dark times.
The tribunal will be prepared in the following months, so that we can put to trial those involved in the war. Again, the death penalty will not be imposed.
Sincerely,
Grand Marshal Borealis III

Because the Novayan Commonwealth proved to be the very element - albeit one that had sought to remain neutral by patrolling its airspace and waters, which caused President Snow to send two of his submarines, and then a number of aircraft sent out - it was able to provide a quick victory. They smashed Certamen's military, industrial and political capabilities, sent assault teams to infiltrate Port Alejandro and capture President Snow and his cronies, and demonstrated its troops' jungle warfare and urban warfare experiences.
Regardless, the Novayans had suffered few or several casualties. Several were wounded, but few died in the tour of duty that was to put an end to Certamen's war. Yet it is to be expected, and the Novayans' own dead were sent back to Novaya to be buried in war cemeteries with full rites and honors. The wounded were sent back to Novaya to recover and either discharge from military service or continue working as military reservists, pending the severity of their wounds.
Currently, Novayan forces were rebuilding areas that fall under their jurisdiction, though Port Alejandro would be shared by all parties. The condition? They have to follow guidelines on what to do and what not to do. Post-war sexual abuse, coercion, torture and extrajudicial killings as well as disgraceful acts and crimes were to be dealt with by more responsible, honest, and transparent authorities. Humanitarian aid supplies would be distributed to the unaffected while the Novayan military established a sort-of civil-military authority to help administer the areas until such a time the provinces, cities, towns and villages would have the means by which its peoples can vote for their new leaders.
It appears that the Novayan military is also experienced in civil-military activities. If many asks why, Novayan soldiers would simply reply, "Because we care for others, even if everyone had the right idea(s) and reason(s) to be angry at us, and even if everyone knew of our militarism we had inherited from the German Empire back in the 1890s. We will not and do not answer to politics, foreign powers, profit-hungry maniacs, et cetera who wish to profit off of other peoples' miseries. We answer to a few things, and a few things only: God and gods, the lives of the people, our nation, and our respect for life. We will do whatever it takes to help rebuild Certamen, even if foreign powers pressured us to give us concessions. And know this: everyone deserves the right to live and exist." Seems to them the Novayans were righteous and moralistic but also compassionate, kind and merciful.
