SIC: The desert once had life beyond the cactus, but atomic fire had stripped it of all but the most resilent life through its radiation, the creatures that remained had been twisted by the fallout. The heat was unbearible and the desert was almost devoid of human life almost. A small town was nestled in a valley in the vast desert the town was small, and had pleged there allegince to the rebels when the war began, and it was the target of an attack. A single helicopter flew over the dunes, it was a civilian helicopter modified to carry a single bomb, the helicopter had been painted over 2 times and all markings had been removed. The helicopter carried 3 soldiers and a pilot, they were all some of the best and most loyal Nyetoan soldiers. They carried a mix of weapons and uniforms from diffrent countries, none Nyetoan there mission was secret the Kimballs didnt know about it the ODP didnt know, only the King, 2 generals, the Minister of Defence and the soldiers knew about it. "THERE IT IS" one soldier yelled pointing towards the town "Were dropping the bomb" yelled the pilot, he pushed a single button and the entire crew watched as the bomb flew to the ground. The helicopter flew back to the base were it had launched. The bomb that was dropped on the town was a biological weapon it used the Flashfire virus, enginered in the cold war it had multiple variants, none having ever been used. The military had decided thaat testing the virus on a small isolated town would be a good way to devestate enemy morale, and to test the weapon.

[The Crimson Isles]

After hearing about the sheer amount of Nations going against the Kimball Administration, and by proxy the Foxtrot Accord, as well as the attacks on civilians and others,, The Minister of Defense Joseph R. Canter has called for most of the peacekeepers to be pulled from New California and replaced with Frontline Soldiers. This was no longer about keeping the peace, this was about war.

Almost 40,000 troops and millions worth of equipment would be sent to New California to replace the small amount of Peacekeepers. Many of these troops would be stationed at air force bases and military outposts dotted across New California, while also fortifying them as well.

[Sky Reavers]

A host of Sky Reaver warriors has arrived close to the borders of NCR. It consists of roughly 10000 warriors split into 10 full warbands, each of which has battlecars, tachankas, gun trucks and APCs. With also some tanks. From above, they are covered by 12 Reaver 51 VTOLs. Reaver warrior host looks are rahter... colorful since there are warriors for all Four Factions and some lesser factions too.

Chillax Dudes warbands looked mostly like hippies, metalheads and fratbros. Some wore voodoo masks, and their pagan warriors decorated their armor with pets. Neoners were more futuristic, as they looked like cyberpunk gangs and cybergoths. Some of them had cybernetic implants. Syndicalists looked like CNT/FAI militia, but with modern gear and weapons and those from Cowboy Republic, reminded of cowboys and rednecks, but also with more modern gear. There also were cultists from New Sodom, who wore dark clothes and armor with Baphometh sigil. Weapons were varied. One could see one warrior using an old sawed-off shotgun and battle axe and other having a plasma rifle. But calibers were mostly unified with weapons being of several most popular. Thanks to the Sky Reaver weapon industry, trying to make weapons of as few calibers as possbile, so they won't need to produce lots of kinds of ammo. Vehicles also looked like they are from Max Max with all these additional plates of crude armor, paintjobs, faction symbols and decorations, but with modern equipment.

After resting for a while, they have attacked! During the attack, they would use thier classical tactics, that involved quick search for the weak spots in enemy defesnes and rapid striking at them. Wherever they would manage to breach the defesnes, they would try to flank or encircle enemy outposts and holdouts and pillage enemy supply lines. Wherever and whenever they would manage to make the enemies retreat, they would ruthlessly pursue and harrass them with hit-and-run attacks and light artillery barrages to make sure, that they won't regroup. Some warbands would split up to harrass enemies and weaken their defenses. They aimed at overhwelming and disrupting enemy organization and logistics with swift strikes.

The goal is to reunite with the rebel forces.

A Lopsider empire fighter ship started to attack her from above. It took a while for the ships systems to activate but now that its combat mode as engaged and as the cameras on the ship spotted her machine guns fired.

She had been so close to getting away but she was too focused on the sniper that the mages had outflanked her.

But she wasn't going to surrender, she wasn't going to go back to prison which would be a stain on her family. No, she would go out in service to her nation and Lord Protector.

She took advantage of the distraction from the Lopsider Empire ship firing on them, turning around to try to blast away with the six rounds still left in the magazine of her SVD. "FOR THE REPUBLIC! DOWN WITH THE OCCUPIERS! FOR PRESIDENT KIMBALL!"

This was it. She wasn't going to walk away. Might as well try to take some of them down and collect combat data with her death on these "mages."

The cameras are connected to a VR headset pilots use that allow a 360-3D perspective optimal for fighting.

Suddenly as the Lopsider ships struggle one ship appears from the smoke that stands out from the rest. While most of the ships were factory issue grey this one was olive green with red markings in an unknown language. This ship was the infamous Green menace, a war hero and one of the best pilots in the FSSO 100 fighter legion. It struck the enemy infantry with bombs and missiles and was much more talented at dodging enemy fire than other air crafts, this pilot was something special.

To adapt to the new tactics that the Sky Reavers had brought, some of the Crimson Troops would start specializing in unconventional Guerilla and Ambush Warfare, and would begin putting holes in the Sky Reavers' Assault tactics, using hidden Explosives, Rocket Launchers, C4, submachine guns, shock clubs, and Grenade Launchers to a heavy extent. One Regiment specifically catered to this type of Warfare was the 75th & 53rd Explosives Ordinance Regiments, who were often clad in Desert Tiger camo, and the 75th in particular was known for having each individual custom paint their helmet. They would prove their worth as Formidable adversaries




At the dam, all hell was breaking loose so a couple of FX-89 Nightfuries were sent to the dam to quell it while Tanks and other Armored vehicles moved in. The FX-89s would fly around the enemies, distracting their attention away from the Armored vehicles as they began launching missile payloads. The purpose of this was to have the SAM'S and everyone else try to take out the Fighters while ground forces moved in.

Around 8 Crimsonian tanks and APCs began flooding into the Dam as they covered ground forces that were following them, with some of the ground troops being crazy enough to jump onto enemy vehicles such as tanks and start trying to disable them by beating the hell out of vital areas with shock clubs.

Frankly war for the lopsiders was not exactly the way stories and propaganda said it was back home. Many little Lopsiders ever actually got physically involved in war. Most of the “warriors” in the lopsider army were office workers, engineers, technicians, computer experts, and scientists who would work on remote control or ai weaponry that would be made to inflict as much damage as possible and survive as long as possible.

The 100 fighter pilots of the FSSO were different. They had to wear heavy equipment that would prevent them from dying on earths gravity and mount lopsider fighter ships that were taken out of service years ago, not because the tech was old or bad but simply because 360-3D vision was too much to handle for an organism who only saw life as a 2-D flat world. The 100 fighter pilots were dedicated to keeping the old tradition of their human ancestors that revolved around the glory and honor of battle. These pilots served well fighting in New California shooting plasma cannons and maneuvering and dodging in creative ways that even the most advanced ai would struggle to take them out of the sky.

An office worker on the Lopsider home planet gets on his flat computer. “This is office 206 the department of inter planetary affairs has decided to approve the FSSO request to deploy walkers to New California on the planet earth. 120 of these have been ordered to be deployed via landing craft.” The lopsider says as he types on a key pad and sends a message to the flight administrator telling him of the new orders of deployment.

Within minutes a landing craft is sent to the air with 120 ai land fighters which will arrive shortly.

After receiving a call from help from other A.I. due to the events at the Dam a counter attack force is being assembled containing 75 YF-57s, 100 YF-52s,10 XM6 landships, 8 XM6-AAAs, 6 XM6-SIEGEs, 25 XM5A1-ARTs, 2 XM4-JAMMERs, 4 AC-94A Spooky IIs, 2 AC-260As Specter II, 4 AC-260Bs Phantoms, and 2 AC-260C Revenants

While the battle was already going the YF-57s and YF-52s got there first and started engaging the enemy planes/fighter ships taking some losses after a while the counter attack force arrives and the Artillery starts firing flares to blind the enemy troops and the JAMMERs turn on the Jamming equipment. After the first volley of flares the XM6s (not including the AAAs) start moving in to attack. The AC-94As start shooting at the infantry while the AC-260Bs Starr firing their TOW Missiles at the enemy tanks the other AC-260s hold their fire waiting for the okay to use their cannons.


High over the Dam there are 3 MQ-10s each equipped with 2 GBU-43/B MOABs waiting to bomb the dam to nothingness incase this goes wrong.

[The Crimson Isles]

Two of the FX-89s were shot out of the sky and hit the ground hard. Many troops had also been shot down but they were callous and would not give up, with the large amount of reinforcements coming. The Troops on the ground would call in for air support, which would eventually come in the form of a Squadron of Flyte AHX-92 Attack Helicopters that were all armed to the teeth with missiles and Rotary cannon ammunition.

On the radar the large MQ-10s overhead were spotted, and more FX-89s were called in to deal with them.

There was a flying V formation of around 10 of them that had gained speed with the MQ-10s, and the leader of the pack would send a transmission over the radio to the MQ-10s "You really want to destroy a dam that powers the livelihoods of people living here? I don't think you do, even if the rebels win they will only suffer without the dam, stop this unnecessary fighting and let's call the dam quits, as it will only bring pain to the people living here, there was already nuclear hellfire here years ago, we mustn't repeat it" the leader was doing something unexpected, trying to reason with the pilots of the MQ-10s.

Meanwhile on the ground, the AHX-92s had started firing on the enemy vehicles with their Rotary cannons at full power, and just when things were getting going, a couple Armored ENAW Grenadiers had arrived at the scene. They were unusual because they had no armament capabilities and were more of a Light utility vehicle, but they were Black and Red, unlike the usual Grenadiers which were camouflaged, which meant one thing, the Elite Crimson Guard had arrived. The Crimson Guard was only sent in when situations become most dire, and this was one of them, as if the dam was destroyed it could hurt the people of New California more than they could ever know.

The Crimson Guard troops were almost ghosts on the battlefield, appearing and disappearing into hiding at random, all with the intent on wearing the opposition down, with hit and run tactics that utilized some of the most technologically advanced weapons the Crimson Isles had in their arsenal.

"I don't blame you, Lord Protector. This was not possible. Of all the billions of simulations the MaGi supercomputer made, this was not one of them."

"Even if this was unanticipated it still does not change the fact this has snowballed into the situation we must address," Barbatos declared, "A solution must be found regardless. I suggest we wash our hands of this affair. Let them kill each other. We will find another opportunity to engage Marajarbia on another battlefield of our choosing, even if that opportunity may not pass again for a while."

"Aye," the assent went through the monoliths that surrounded Asuka.

"But what of the Hounds currently in California? How many are they?"

"We have about 5,000 fully equipped currently. Half can easily be evacuated over the border and returned to service, the other half cannot. The latter is mostly the convicts and disposables."

"Then we face no real loss at all."

"Correct. All that will be is tying up the loose ends." Asuka said "I will arrange for the fate of those we cannot remain. They cannot be captured so they must then be spent. At least we may get some return on our investment."

As the members of the Foxtrot Accords began to send the most heavily armed of their forces, the Marajarbian peacekeepers were ordered by the Marajarbian Government to assist any civilians found in any of the recent conflict areas, as well as any areas in which civilians can be found.

Fearing another WMD strike, just like during the Hiropteran Civil War, the Marajarbian Government has called for the start of peace negotiations.

Such hidden attacks could jeopardize the assault and lead to unwelcome casualties if not handled, not to mention, Reavers will not have to make a special detachment from some of the reserves to plug the holes in assault tactics and handle this situation before it goes out of control. A tactic would be quickly formulated to quickly make up decoy ammunition dumps or fake encampments, that look like a tempting target. Just to make the new enemies reveal themselves with attacks. If there has been an explosion, then this quadrant has the enemy guerrilla forces, that could be found and followed. Sometimes, Reavers would try and lure the Crimson Troops regiments to go deeper into their zone of control. Just to make it easier to encircle them and then, keep them on their feet with constant harrassing and make them to waste their explosives on fake targets. With only way for Crimson Troops guerrilla to refill the supply of explosive ordnance being taking some from enemy, Reavers would sometimes leave explosives, that were sabotaged, so they are either inoperable or even blow up in enemy hands. Or at least they hoped to achieve this effect.

Situation is far from critical, but the reserves are necessary for rotating the tired assaulting warriors, so the assaulting forces will be always fresh. And if too many reserve forces are occupied, this could slow down the Reaver assault. To handle this faster, Liam decided to send slightly more reserve troops agaisnt Crimson Troops than he initially thought. Just to be sure.

A satellite from the Lopsider empire was above the above the NCR. A computer transmission from their home planet ordered them to fire a barrage of rockets at the rebel soldiers and rebel supporting troops below.

At a lab in Westphalia, Forensic Analysts had identified the body of the attacker as a Santoakian citizen, yet could find no record of them being aligned with the military.

MP Young had also determined many of the items on the person to be of Santoakian manufacture as well, leading to the conclusion that they likely had something to do with it. MP Young and the Analysts would bring their findings forward to central command, who would then end up sending one of the Crimson Isles' Foxtrot Accord representatives to Santoak along with a battalion of Crimson Guards to guard the representative in case things go south. The plane that he traveled in could be identified as Crimsonian, along with non combatant markings on it, as it was a specialized version of the Flyte SSSAX Supersonic Airliner (similar to a concorde)

The drones made it to where the Santoakians were and begin transmitting their data and a message from the Ayshirean military in the region. The drones then turned around and began speeding towards the their targets. The drones where cheap and easy to produce so it wouldn't be much trouble if they didn't make it back.
