Modern Tech. Most RPs on II are MT. Look for anything that doesn’t say FT, PT or Closed, and you can probably post just using equipment from somewhere else.

Electricity, is an important force necessary to power machines and modern equipment of all sorts. Large deposits of two dangerous materials familiar to the Comps have been discovered within the Rinemiol mountains (where the Comps perform their eco-friendly mining operations using high-powered laser cutters): coal and uranium. One had kickstarted the Industrial Revolution (and subsequently caused a concerning increase in the average global temperature for the years to come) one will cause widespread destruction (or an insane amount of power) if it was misused. The Comps have deployed many informational pieces of literature written by various authors of age, time, and species regarding this matter, and hope that the Rincurdish will learn from them to make their homeworld a better place after the Comps departed. For now, the Comps have constructed solar and wind farms across the mountains (naturally, they want the Rincurdish to self-sustain once the Comps no longer exist in their homeworld, but the Comps will make an exception for now) with the power being distributed to a large settlement named Rincomburg within the mountains.
Rincomburg, the base of the Comps' mineral extraction operations. A cool valley town with classic Rincurdish architecture (whatever that might be) mixed with the blocky Comps architecture. Except for that large mildly flashy tower on the mountaintop, there is nothing interesting there because that's the minerals warehouse (unless the visitors are amused watching cool rocks get packed into metal containers?). Since Rincomburg stretches along the mountain range, there are four clinics and two hospitals here, one under construction. Should the visitors want to go on a hike, please don't cross the holo-tapes the Comps have installed, as it marks the proximity of dangerous cliffs which should you survive the fall, hope someone noticed you before you got vaporized by the Comps mining laser beam. There are dozens of viewing stations available if you want to witness the light shows, though. On the side of the streets, various entrepreneurial natives have opened their businesses. And of course, there is a plethora of educational institutions spread along the valley, from regular schools, engineering schools, law schools, medical schools, and whatnot. Oh right, don't forget to pay a visit to the Rincom Bibliotheca! A massive blast-proof library containing many kinds of literature from fiction to non-fiction, and of course, the Comprehensive Civilization Creation Compendium, a gargantuan book containing vital instructions composed by the Comps on how to make your own future-tech civilization scratch(Author disclaimer: resource not provided, we are not liable to any conflicts that may rise from improper utilization of this codex). The book was so massive that it was split into 101 parts, each part as large as a small suitcase.

Knock it off with the flaming. "I was just joking!" does not magically make blatant flaming acceptable. As to why I'm only yelling at you and not The United Planetary Commonwealth for their "fucking asses" line, it's because their post reads as at least vaguely in character, and is using the swear as an intensifier rather than really directed AT anyone. The space elevator on Oshina has crashed to the ground, causing extensive damage to everyone's colonies/outposts on the planet. Additionally, the ash and dust kicked up by the various large objects impacting the ground have significantly effected the environment. Expect extinction-level effects similar to those caused by the Chixculub impact.

The colony was worse for wear, the conquistador battle group had been hard at work defending the colony form both internal and external threats while plans were made to confront the QSSC about their destructive policies that had caused harm to Zoigian citizens and others on the planet. If they were going to keep doing stupid things it would be only fair, they get a stupid reward like being atomized.
