In August and September of 2022, Jeriga had a nuclear meltdown at a facility that was less than a week old. The meltdown was the result of an incompetent and corrupt government skipping safety concerns to get a win politically. Once the report came out, the King acted.

He first dismissed the Prime Minister, then dissolved Parliament when they resisted him. New elections are set for March 2023, but there are inklings that they may not be allowed by the King.

This is an excellent time to begin the RP. I don't really know where this is going, but I do know that I'd love for you guys to be involved. The principle players will be revealed more as time goes on, but the point is that intrigue can start. So rosin up your spies and start to size up your interests. Are they commercial? Are they political? Are they security related? This time of Administrative chaos is wonderful for spies.

Here, you can ask questions, collaborate with me, and get permission to post IC once we have a framework.

Najimam would see this crisis as the perfect opportunity to acquire more intel about Jeriga and its neighbor Vacrus.

Najimam would use its human intelligence capabilities to get documents related to military technology, most specifically documents related to the technology and manufacturing of the Type 054D destroyer and J-16 aircraft. It would also get help from some MPs in exchange of guaranteed asylum if the situation gets worse. A secret and small human intelligence base to keep getting intel on Vacrus is also a possible idea.

Commercially, Najimam would partner with one of Jeriga's businessmen and create a logistics company to benefit from the country's infrastructure and bypass Vacrus in terms of logistics supply chain. Given the current mess this could go through unnoticed I guess.

Hm. I don't know about these aircraft and destroyers, but I can create a secret project about developing some 5th gen fighter and a destroyer. Everything else sounds great. Your two areas of interest would be alcilia city and Montien. Check our maps in my dispatches for a basic overview of the nation.

The secret project sounds good too, I was thinking of implementing a spy in one of the military's manufacturing sites or defense companies while everyone is preoccupied with the crisis. He would get info on the project from someone inside the military in exchange of Najimam’s support for Gonzalo and the MPs. One of the MPs could also provide documents and intel on Vacrus for asylum. In addition, another spy would be in one of Jeriga's small islands that are bordering Vacrus and reporting from there. Let me know if you need any additional information.

Costavozka is going to- no surprise here- attempt to remain neutral, and if needed, offer troops for a peacekeeping mission. Thought I'd post this here so my OOC initial intent is clear, in light of my recent news post. If someone finds a clever way to draw me in even more, I'd be cool with that as long as you give me an overview and a path to follow and it doesn't conflict with anything else. But consider this as me expressing my interest.

There's currently not a lot of crisis. It's all political, theoretical with some radicals. Just wait until after the election. But in the meantime, this would be an excellent time to start softly infiltrating those types of organizations. Loads of people will be leaving government offices out of conviction over the next weeks. That would be the ideal time. Also the defense ministry is going to be hiring tons of police for the coming crowd control they know they will need. If you're wanting into that, then getting hired in there will be perfect.
