ONAC: Grove
On the Deck of the Aircraft Carrier Grove ground crew hurried moving bombs, rockets, missiles, and autocannon ammunition on carts from below to above deck and pushing them to the aircraft that needed them which were the OFJ-1K and OFJ-2K jets when the ones that were going had their armaments loaded and moved to be launched by the ship's catapult once there the pilots of the 2 OFJ-1K on the runway increased the throttle and engine power before being launched once in the air they pulled the stick and started making their way towards higher altitudes while another pair of OFJ-1Ks go through the same process and taking off once all fighter jets were in the sky an OMB-28REB took off and followed suite towards the island while jets went to perform air sorties and fend off the enemy Air assets a few OGH-50K and a couple of OGH-52K helicopters took off from the carrier to provide ground support armed with rocket pods, Air-to-Surface missiles and just incase a couple of Air-to-Air missiles.

somewhere around and near Andoany Madagascar
Descending into the branches of the tree and unbuckling themselves from their chute that may or may not be tangled up in the tree branches many OFDG soldiers found themselves in the jungle of Madagascar near their objective and so the soldiers started making their way towards their units and picking up heavy weapons that were dropped while crewmen take the ropes and hooks off their AML-90s, AML-60s, BTR-D and Alongside the Anti-Air variant the BTR-DG which has 23mm ZSU-23-2 autocannon and a MANPAD team and the ATGM carrier BTR-RD which was modified to mount various ATGM systems. The troops hopped into the BTR-DS and started the advance to Andoany to secure it.

JRS Snaya Kitoscho (Cold Forest) - Hanschinburg-Class Guided Missile Destroyer
JRS Narita Schin (Northern Current) - Hanschinburg-Class Guided Missile Destroyer

500 Kilometers off Manakara...

Moodin time

Some nations think that nuclear war is the end of it. But Janpia does not intend to lose against one. We must show the world that Janpia, the Party, and the people, can survive a nuclear ordeal. The Revolution must have no bounds in every struggle!"

- Revolutionary Ideals. Motto of the Janpian Union of Revolutionary Missileers (JURM)

It was in the dead of the night while the Madagascar war is in full swing. Just beyond the Madagascar EEZ lies the two Revolutionary Navy ships: the JRS Snaya Talog (Cold River) and the JRS Narita Schin (Northern Current). Both are constantly hunting for tags using their powerful SPY-6 and SPQ-9B radars, allowing them to detect even the smallest RCS and the furthest objects, such as LEOs. Meanwhile, far away from the ships, two MH-2N helicopters deafen the starry sky as they deploy passive sonar nets and connect them to the Revolutsiya CMS. This enables the destroyers to detect and intercept any submarines or torpedoes before they get close, giving them ample time to set up proper defenses incase of an underwater attack. Two additional MH-2Ns were also dispatched, this time equipped with AWACS to check for any airborne markings or anything else not within the range of the warships, giving the sailors an early warning for any possible threats against them. While the AWACS range is indeed limited, it is sufficient enough to detect anything approaching the destroyers from either land or sea.

SIC:

While the 2 harmless destroyers scan the surface, beneath the waves lies the true weapon of the Revolution: A Munschen-Class SSBN. Armed with 20x T-10 SLBMs, each with four nuclear warheads, it can devastate Madagascar in minutes without fear of retaliation from hostile warships. The JRS-7A1413 maintains a course far away from Madagascar—about 1,200 kilometers away—and is only registered under the Revolutsiya CMS, allowing the two destroyers to determine the SSBN's last location and remain hidden from any hostiles. Indeed, the purpose of this mission is simple: to keep the Reformed Republic of Madagascar alive and to make sure that there will be consequences if it gets wiped out. And maybe along with maintaining a Janpian presence in the region, they could constantly watch the entire situation. Nonetheless, according to the Janpian language, combining the two ship names will result in "The cold river of the northern current gushes in". And if the JRS-7A1413 gets such a phrase, the unforeseen event will occur. Of course, the destroyers aren't just showing up to simply be there. They also have a mission to intercept any possible ICBM launches from Madagascar against any Janpian allies. Satellite constellations are also sent to constantly look over military operations in Madagascar, investigating any possible weapons of mass destruction and to give the Revolutionary Navy of a heads-up in case of an attack.

As the last preparations were made and Deutsch-Francian forces left port, the mood among the soldiers was tense. Since the socialists had more support internationally, there was little doubt that a Republican victory would be nothing less than a miracle. Despite this, there was some hope that their efforts could bring about such a scenario.

As they began to pass through the English channel, Admiral Felix Weber sent a message to Vikanias.

Message Status: Encrypted

To the government of Vikanias,

This is a message from Admiral Weber of the Deutsch-Francian Imperial Navy. According to reports that our government has received, your country is involved in Madagascar in support of the Republican cause. Since this a stance shared with the government of Chancellor Mayer in Berlin, it may be in our mutual interest to cooperate. We believe that this could include sharing vital information regarding enemy positions, among other things. We look forward to hearing your thoughts regarding this proposal.

Sincerely,
Admiral Felix Weber

Grand Hall, Norrhammar, Bakivaland

President Manchester must attend a meeting with his highest-ranking diplomats and military executives. The topic of discussion is the war in Madagascar, and ensuring a Republican victory if the Bakivish don't regain control.

"Hello my good fellows," Manchester says while walking into the conference room, waving his hand.

"Why, hello there mister President," replies Mr. Sebastian Thomsen, the General of the Army. "You're a bit early, no?" he continues.

"Well, I believe I should always aim for being early." Manchester replies. "Anyways, let's begin this meeting!" he continues.

After around two hours of speaking, it has been decided that the Bakivish shall aid the Republicans against the commies and anarchists. They shall be shipping out several hundred soldiers and a ton of equipment to the island this week to aid them in the struggle. The reason for this is simple, if another democratic and capitalist nation is created in the Indian ocean, it shall benefit the Bakivish, and also, it doesn't appear they'll be winning without serious help. The commies are receiving almost worldwide support, but a few well-placed bombs (and possibly some nukes) can seriously turn the tables.

Hello, this is Bakivaland, the colonial ruler of Madagascar. We shall offer support to the Republicans, and it appears from your previous actions that Malagasy Republicanism is something that your nation supports. We are wondering if you'd like to wipe out communism in the island once and for all? If so, please respond.

- Thank you,

TRIBULATION
CHAPTER 3 | ARC 1 "THE ADMIRAL"

CG 1 "BAUREN", TFW-8

Operation Vanguard of the Revolution was underway.

Lieutenant Heiner kept the laser on target, lining up an enemy tank. He smirked as the bomb completely destroyed it - turning it into scrap and fire. It was tiring work - no air-defense had been encountered, turning this mission into an utter and complete curbstomp.

“Sapphire, the convoy has stopped. Take them out.”

Two aircraft approached from the west, taking position over the road. They carried bombs - lots of them. Their wings retracted as they enabled afterburners, spitting flame in the air.

They were dizzyingly fast. Heiner could barely keep up. His eyes watched as they soared over the enemy convoy.

A split second later, their bombs detached.

ECG 1 "ROANOKE", RT-3

I waded through the muck of the jungle, the mud filling my boots with a sad sludge. It was somewhat common for SOF teams to be caught in these sorts of situations - we are the tip of the spear, after all.

My comrade slaps me on the back as we move towards the objective, a small hamlet located in Nowheresville, Madagascar. It would act as the landing zone for a Marine Regiment - its location granted it control over the nearby beach, making it a prime objective.

Once the SOF team secured it, a platoon of Marines would land, allowing more troops to flood in. Support was provided by a wing of helicopters and innumerable aircraft, giving us a a guaranteed chance of taking over the small hamlet.

Well, that would come later. The Jungle sucked - navigating through it was a horrid mess. The anti-mosquito spray we put on earlier didn’t work - poor Murten was being mobbed by a pack of mosquitoes.

I chuckled at his misfortune. “Murten, you good back there? Seems like you’re making a few friends.” “Screw you!” He yelled, looking back at me. His hands flailed about like a hungry baby - causing the entire squad to laugh.

“Christ mate, you need a bottle of milk?” Someone yelled from the back of the column, causing another bout of chuckles among the heavily-armed men. I cleared my throat. While conversing was fun, it could comprise our position. “Right, everyone quiet down. We’re almost there.”

Christ, it was beautiful. The wind blew by my face as I saw the stunning sights of Madagascar. The waves crashed by the beach, roaring by. I am glad to claim this island for the Revolution, for the Proletariat.

“Karlen, set up over there. Section 2, grenades to the right.” I said, my voice filling the jungle. A single flash came from the other side of the forest - RT-2, in position for the upcoming fight. I had to give the signal. Two - three flashes came from my sections as they reported their readiness.

Grabbing my rocket launcher, I set my sights and zeroed the weapon to 500 meters - a gaggle of militia was my target. Clearing my backblast, I pressed a button. Pure white filled my eyes for a split second as the rocket rushed out, filling my ears with a distinctive roar.

Rifle fire stitched my position as I ran to the nearest barricade. I slid underneath it as my comrades started to suppress the enemies, the roar of machine-guns filling my ears. I heard gun-fire from the other side as RT-2 started to storm the town, engaging in deadly urban battle.

The pointman ran up to me as I returned fire, popping out of cover for a split second as I dumped rounds down-range. Bullets zipped by my head as I returned fire, snarling at the fascists who dare opposed the revolution.
Tracer fire turned the once-peaceful town into a fireworks show as two squads clashed. I loved it all - the adrenaline, the experience, the smell. Distinctive reports of sniper fire filled the town as two sniper teams exterminated their targets with extreme prejudice, leaving a trail of blood in their wake. Acrid gunpowder intermixed with the smell of blood wafted up my nose - the smell of battle, of death.

I heard the roar of two gunships, the angels of death approaching in a regal manner. It was surprising - we hadn’t requested them, not yet. “Angel-2 to all. Starting combat operations in AO, stay clear of the town.” I watched with wonder as the helicopters stormed overhead, signaling death to those that dare interfere with us. It was unforgettable. Rocket after rocket leapt out of the helicopters, barreling towards the enemy. Explosion after explosion bubbled to life as the gunships reaped their toll, playing games with the poor miltiamen.

This will be an easy fight, I thought to myself. The Republicans or Bakvish probably had a QRF enroute, but those would be a mere road-block to achieving a global revolution.

Outskirts of Andoany

Various OFDG troops were near the outskirts of their intended target that being Andoany they concealed themselves in the bushes in the tree line while the armored vehicles were further behind them that were camouflaged using various branches and bushes from the environment. One of the soldiers was looking at the city through his binoculars checking for any armed emplacements or defenses or signs of it checking for irregularities in the urban environment once done he motion a squad leader over to him.

“I don’t see much but I got a feeling they’re hiding in the buildings or they hidden their stuff real good prepare the troops for an attack the minute mortars stop dropping and the choppers is when we will start moving," Daniel said to the squad leader who nodded before leaving to talk with another officer once gone Daniel picked up a radio microphone and tune it to mortar battery channel "Mortar battery come in do you read over"

"Mortar battery here all set up awaiting coordinates over" came a voice from the radio

"Mortar battery I'm inputting the coordinates as we speak prepare drop once you received over," Daniel said having sent over the coordinates to the battery the minute he finished speaking once they were received the mortar quickly got into position making adjustments to the mortar and angling once done the loader grabbed an 81mm shell and dropped it into the tube of an L16 mortar and quickly moving their headway as the mortar comes flying along with making a thumping sound as they hit the firing pin.

Back at the front, the faint whistle of mortar shells can be heard falling from the sky into the city before exploding this however also signaled the troops who were carrying the M6C-210 lightweight to begin dropping 60mm mortar shells onto the enemy the mortars went on for about a few minutes before they stopped. The first to come out of concealment were the BTR-Ds which were also carrying troops followed by the OFDG troops who were using the BTR-Ds as cover.

The kind and wise emperor of the Hakon Uplands will send nuclear submarines and warships to blockade the island of Madagascar, while Bakiva forces can get to the island to quell the revolt. Although this country condemns the rebels' actions, the emperor urges Bakivaland to give amnesty to any fighters that surrender. He asks for the more troublesome rebels to be sent to his country for training. If some of the rebels are strong and have the nerves to continue rebelling, then they are definitely ready for this country's special ops. This way, our country won't have to directly take part in hostilities. We only want what's good for both sides. Although some of our number (the minority communist party Kachlenkommunistansang) have advocated for complete independence for Madagascar, to acomodate both sides, we have decided to send forces only to stop the conflict and reach towards an agreement. We ask for peace, that is all we ask for. We also ask to send humanitarian aid to Madagascar, and to send peace keepers to stop the fighting. In essence, we ask to be able to send troops to end the fighting and give both sides a satisfactory end: Independence referendums in 1 month, and no fighting.

As the fellow leaders of Reviland Aura discussed the Madagascan War, they have came to the conclusion that the Madagascans shall be given autonomy and are thinking about proposing that there should be peace talks in the Madagascan capital of Antananarivo. Of course,if and when both parties agree to the talks, they decided to send a small troop of our highest quality to supervise the treaty and in the worst case scenario, a surprise attack. If you are willing to work things out with the Madagascans, notify us and we will send our legion of troops and a high ranking official to overlook the treaty.

Operation Steel Spartan

SERGEANT HEIDER

3KM outside of Antsirabe

The muddy waters of the swamp made it hard for Heider to move around, holding his gun up high was beginning to take a toll on his arms and whatever he had left was to use swat off the thousands, no - millions of flies swarming around him and his platoon, these men were of many who Parachuted across around the island to capture key points and the such and it was exhausting, they had been roaming around for hours now and the hot sun beamed through whatever cover the trees provided. They heard the croaks of frogs and the cries of birds as they headed toward Antsirabe, they had to leave the tanks for the large and cumbersome vehicles to find another place around, no doubt one had gotten stuck in some mud, suddenly a peep appeared from behind Heider.

“How… much longer until we reach dry land?” Spoke the soldier, his voice raspy and sick, no doubt the flies had gotten to him, his gun sagged lower and lower every minute they continued to wade through the muddy water.

No one answered the soldier and they continued on, Heider looked from right to left to see if they could find an area that wasn’t covered in thick jungle, and he found it. A small, quite old wooden dock seemingly leading the way to a village, or better yet Antsirabe. Heider pointed it out and so the platoon moved towards it , climbing up on it and helping up others who couldn’t quite get on, and so they sat. They had been wading through the water for an unknown amount of time and as everyone drank and got some much needed energy back in themselves they continued on to Antsirabe, as the minutes dragged on the soldiers headed up the small hill from the dock and reached the mount.

As they looked on they saw a small fishing hut, with wood some feet away along with a handcrafted axe to its side, their eyes looked up into the blue sky and smoke rose from the hut, as they walked along the hut had no door and a small fire lit the inside and a old dark skinned man sat beside it. His eyes closed and and lost of sweat coming from his forehead, he was probably sick but the soldiers carried on, it’s a long long way to Antsirabe.

THE SKIES

As the middle of Madagascar burned the pilots still flew around their fortress, patrolling the skies for any enemy fighters, but the king guts of any castle must be well fed, and the J’s were no different. The Pilots had been out for a long time and many were tired and such the J’s were called off for the time being, with supposed reactions being perceived as sour the heads of Steel Spartan have halted all Napalm bombing runs, only regular bombs and only on military targets instead of the carpet bombing that the J’s had been doing, some fighters insisted that it was to be used but the PR of the operation was pinnacle both internationally and back at home. As the J’s headed back Madagascar would slowly recover from the Napalm, if just slowly.

PRIVATE JOHANEGG

As the men ate their mangoes they heard the whistle of something falling, and then a large, massive eruption as the building collapsed due to the Bakivish bomb, the men covered their ears as Johanegg looked around, as the eruption slowly faded away men quickly picked up their guns and rushed forwards, Johanegg had never ran so fast in his life and he wasn’t getting out of breath either, the Officer screamed to the men in a fury as the ran, it was so unreal for him, this was how war was and he was going tk get used to it.

“The entire thing just fell down!” Yelled a solider to Johaneggs right, he was paid no mind as they all ran, after a large and long minute they reached the building, and it was something Johanegg would never forget. The plumes of smoke and ash covered the streets as they heard the moans and screams of pain in the people under the rubble of the building.

“Get thise civilians to safety, provide as best care as you can! Now!” Would scream the Officer as the men together loicked up the rubble desperately, Johanegg was in a panic, he knew what was to be expected on the battlefield but he never thought it would be like this, everywhere around him he heard crying children and mothers rocking and hushing their hurt infants while they themselves were bleeding, it was surreal and Johanegg was in an unruly panic, suddenly he saw it, a leg of a man.

“I found someone! Come help!” He cried as others rushed to his aid, as they grabbed the rubble and placed it elsewhere they were picked up the man, but he was limp, they were too late to save him as he bled on the soldiers uniforms, Johanegg was nearing tears until he was slapped by another.

“Just… just keep calm man…” as they carried the man to a better location. Johanegg looked at his blood stained flippers and his face just looked on blankly.

Greetings, thank you for the message. While it is odd that the forces of the enemy are contacting us is absurd, Vikanias has decided to listen to Bakivaland. It is certainly appealing that Communism would be pushed off of Madagascar, and working with another ally would Greatly benefit the Democratic cause on the island. However there will be some set conditions if Vikanias shall put aside our differences to aid the Republican cause.
1. Madagascar shall be POLITICALLY and MILITARILY neutral to the ODP, EA, and KTO if liberated.
2. Bakivaland MUST pull out all forces out of the island once liberated and repay the new republic for the years of damage to Madagascar.
3. Along with Vikanias, Bakivaland WILL fund and guarantee the independence of Madagascar for the foreseeable future
4. Bakivaland shall apologize to the Madagascarian people for the colonization of their lands.

If Bakivaland accepts these terms, Vikanias shall gladly help them, if not, you shall die alone.

0700 Hours Local Time.

APS New Tarwa (CV-3)

Combined Theatres Task Group "Valeria".

Somewhere in the Indian ocean

"On the cat. Two MiGs taking off from the bow and the waist. That's two MiGs launching off the Bow and the Waist! Stay clear!"

The muffled sound of the Deck officer over the PA booms through the steel decks of the carrier.

As the two MiGs are rocketed into the sky, and become nothing more than a nary trace in the dull, grey skies of the Indian Ocean.

As droplets of rain begins to fall on the CIC's windows, the Commodore lowers his binoculars, placing it on the desk nearby.

He turns about, and plants her two hands firmly planted on the edge of the digital map table that dominates the CIC.

"Damned weather... Bakkies are lucky that we came in during this shithole's rainy season."

Despite the hastiness of the formation and deployment of BG-Valeria, every Antarctican on board the New Tarwa has almost unanimously agreed on a derogatory moniker for the Bakvish forces in Madagascar. Perhaps it was out of sheer spite for the Bakvish that they were sent fourth to fight. Prehaps it was meant to degrade the Bakvish in Madagascar than they already have, prehaps the Marines and sailors aboard were simpily bored.

The Captain stands on the opposite edge of the table, looking at two small green dots. Separating themselves from the green icon of an aircraft carrier.

"Well, unless you want the crew to do a blasted rain dance, we'll just have to bear with it."

"And we thought the southern ocean was bad..."

"Couldn't be worse than the shitshow of foreign interventions in Madagascar right now. Naval intelligence just got on the horn with is a couple of hours ago about unconfirmed reports of napalm strikes in a civilian heavy environment."

The Captain pursed his lips as the words Napalm and Civilian came out of the Admiral's tobacco-wracked mouth in one sentence.

"If I may, sir..."

"How[i] heavy?"

"Might as well have been directly on the civilians. We're looking in the territory of [i]at least
a couple hundred casualties."

The Captain looks down again at the table map, focusing on the large dot that represents the City of Antananarivo. And gazing at the faint, red dots that indicated the previous flight paths of Bogies and Bandits who have passed over the city.

So many flights.

So many bombs.

So many deaths.

"Fuckers..."

"The City's already a casualty, Captain."

The Captain looks back up at the Admiral.

"Then when do we hit back. Admiral?"

As if on cue, a young lieutenant walks down the CIC, and up to a whiteboard, containing the day's schedule for flight operations aboard the carrier.
He removes the cap on a pink marker, indicating a flight of particular importance, and begins to write on a new row.

12x MiG-29KM | DEEP STRIKE | 1200HRS

The Admiral, looking at the the board, turns his head back at the Captain. Bearing a murderous grin. Using a stylus, he draws a red line from the carrier's position straight to a red dot, indicating the position of the city of Antsiranaana.

"Tonight."

Operation Hammer Down
Some forest near Antananarivo,
From the perspective of Julian Kjellberg, a Bakivish soldier

It was raining today. In fact, it rained almost everyday. I'd be lucky to go walking about without having to trudge through mud. I had wake early and alight straight after. Those bastards in command told us we had to go to Madagascar, right after being deployed in India. I had to pick a mango from a fruit tree near our camp, it was juicy, and now my hands are quite sticky.

Just recently the bomb dropped, destroyed most of the city. Killed so many people, injured so many more. Damn nationalists, too proud to give up a stupid colony that they can't even manage that well.

As I'm trudging through the sludgy mud, I notice the abundance of flies and mosquitoes. "Har vi noen behandlinger for malaria her
?" (Do we got any treatments for Malaria here) I ask one of my buddies named Robert Eliassen. "Nei, jeg tror ikke det" (No, I don't believe so) he responds. Bastards can't even get us medicine for malaria, in a shithole filled with these god-damned mosquitoes?! "Jeg skjønner" (I see) I reply.

The mud eventually shifts to water, and we begin trudging through a swamp. The cold, brackish water fills my boots. I'm sure I'm sick with something, as my voice just becomes raspier and raspier. The other soldiers can barely walk, and I'm just about ready to fall over backwards.

We must walk to another camp (about 10 hours away) and then leave for Antsirabe (about 35 hours). The water we drink begins to run out, so we must fill it with the salty brackish water from the swamp. It's not horrible, water is water. We're all sick, probably with cholera or dysentery.

Just then, we all hear rustling in the leaves. Everyone stops abruptly and readies their AK-47s, as the sound gets closer and louder with time. Soon enough a gunshot is fired from the bushes, lighting up the calm outdoor scene. The soldier who was hit falls to the ground, as it hit his leg. All the Bakivish soldiers open fire on the enemy. The enemy pops out of the bushes, a tall black Malagasy man dressed in the uniform of the RRM.

The man is shot several times and is mortally wounded, and he dies soon after from bloodloss.

We killed the man. I feel terrible. I killed someone with a family, with a life. I cannot help but feel guilty.

But, the journey must continue.

I don't believe the Anarchists control any territory? The Capitalists currently have more land, but the commies have more international support and are likely going to win, honestly. Also, technically Bakivaland claims and controls Antsiranana.

‘Twas a beautiful day in Southern Africa as the Galapagos fleet passed South Africa. The king trip was finally coming to an end. The departure fro. Just past South Africa would be their target and they would finally land. The landing sight was chosen to ultimately be Mahajanga as it would ultimately provide a sound forward operating base and a chance to connect with Ocenaian forces to better push the republicans out the island for good.

The homeland more or less turned a blind eye to the conflict as it was just easier to pretend it didn’t exist. Casualties were expected to be the bare minimum with only 200-500 predicated dead. Most people barley cared they were fighting for a system themselves disapproved of and as long as they were promised cheaper products and a kick in the nuts for the ODP they were contempt.

With news of the uprising in Madagascar, along with vocal support for the communists, Gonswanza had no real choice but to support the southerly communist movement, with a new air operation being set in motion as aircraft are being prepared to fly out from airbases nearby. However, due to the nature of the threat, a variety of aircraft are to be used in this campaign, rather than a direct intervention, in an attempt to pulverize the democratic forces and force them to surrender or even fall to the communists.

All for the sake of freedom, no?

SIC:
C-32s and EB-52s are being prepared in Sri Lanka and the DRC, with TU-160s as well. A carrier task force is also being redirected, being a type 1 republic class with escorts, carrying a full load of drones ready for deployment against air defenses (including hostile aircraft) to open up a path into the Republic of Madagascar.

Blackbirds are also sent out well ahead of the bombers and carrier task force, just to highlight and identify facilities, while satellites are trained on the island to confirm and identify possible hotspots. All for the sake of accuracy, though it's still likely that the Gonswanzans will take free reign over the skies with their bombers.

Enter Operation Red Sun.

Operation Hammer Down
Some forest near Antananarivo,
From the perspective of Julian Kjellberg, a Bakivish soldier

Day 2

We continue onward towards the camp. Strolling through the moist jungle terrain is no easy task, as the mud hinders us quite a bit. The flies swarm us every chance they get.

Bakivaland has sent several other troops to Antsiranana to try to retake it. It will be a bloody battle to say the least. I've heard rumors of nuclear war, but I highly doubt it.

I'm sick, I'm dying, I'm in pain, but I keep walking. I lumber slowly, cautiously, as do all the other soldiers.

After hours of walking, we arrive at the camp.

We eat food, drink clean water, and take medicine. They didn't have any treatment for malaria.

We continue onwards to Antsiranana, this will take a few days. I notice a fairly large amount of Bakivish soldiers passing us during our journey. Me and my cohorts always offer to help, and only a few have accepted. We're all on the same mission here, for our country.

Just then, the flash hits my eyes.

The Skies,
An airbase near Antsiranana

Several pilots are readying themselves to go into their aircraft. Each one is packed with a cluster bomb (not nuclear), which can be dropped at a moment's notice. In an attempt to regain air superiority, the Bakivish are going bomb Antsiranana

Each pilot boards their aircraft and take off soon after. Soaring through the sky, without much hinderance (yet).

As they reach Antsiranana, they ready their bombs. One, two, three... BOOM!

A building crumbles to dust, causing a miniature earthquake almost. The flash can be seen from miles away, and the booming sound deafens those too close.

The soldiers on the ground are going to have a fun time with the unhappy cityfolk, if they are any left, of course.

The Commonwealth of Europe a Nation strongly condemns Bakivaland's latest actions against Madagascar. The Government of Europe a Nation can no longer stand by and watch Bakhiva slaughtering innocent civilians in Madagascar. We therefore call on Bakivaland to stop military operations against Madagascar and proceed to negotiations, otherwise the Commonwealth of Europe a Nation will take necessary actions to stop violence against Madagascar civilians.

SIC:
- 1x UCAV - RQ-4 Global Hawk has been sent (from Diego Garcia air base) to gather intelligence about Bakivaland's army and navy presence and position, exact location of strategic military objects, such as air bases, barracks, ammunition depots, naval ports, fortification.
- 6x Astute-class submarines that can carry cruise missiles MK-67 "Tomcat" will be slowly mowing towards Madagascar and will keep operational range about 1200-1400 km

The BTR-Ds were just reaching the the road into the city with the lead BTR-D gunner swinging the NSV machine gun towards the Republican soldiers that were nearby and fired upon them with a belt mix of armor-piercing and tracer rounds neutralizing them quickly once the area was secured troop’s disembarked from the armored carriers who advance down the street with AML-90s driving down the roads with BTR-D following behind them towing either a B-11 recoilless rifle, M55-22-3 or ZSU-23-2 autocannons. While some troops were moving support weapons such as B-10 recoilless rifle, AGS-40s, SGM, and M1919A4 machine guns setting them up in places where they can be used to the Oceanian troops advantage inside of buildings and homes etc while some Guards were firing at buildings that Republican soldiers were hiding in providing cover so their comrades can go bust down doors to various buildings and homes to rush in gunning to neutralize the combatants or securing any supply dumps all while trying to avoid civilian casualties.

While fighting on the ground starts with in the air a couple of OGH-52K arrive flying over the town and splitting off to take their designated objectives that being providing ground support and destroying emplacements.

~~This Strato-1 to ground we just arrived we are gonna be carrying our objective holler if you need us~~ the gunner said alerting their comrades of their presence and also prevent friendly fire accidents from happening.

~~I got a visual on what appears to be Republican trucks I think they might be carrying supplies or troops or maybe both make a turnaround so I can hit it~~ he said signaling the pilot to make a turn around so he can engage with the ground units

The OGA-52K nickname Strato-1 flew off ahead of their target before making a turnaround due to the 30mm AC30A41 gun wasn’t in a flexible mount instead being semi-rigid once helicopter made its turnaround and was now facing the convoy the gunner took aim and fired the 30mm cannon sending HE-Frag shells down towards truck exploding once it hit the truck and finished it off with 80mm S-8 rockets from the RPL-20 rocket pods exploding when they made contact and kicking up dust and dirt covering the area seeing that they done enough the OGH-52K disengaged and flew off to another part of the city to locate more ground targets.

As the Deutsch-Francian fleet were passing through the South Atlantic, Admiral Felix Weber read the response from Vikanias, and was grateful that they had agreed to cooperate. After receiving that news, he and other officers involved in leading the Deutsch-Francian Expeditionary Force reviewed their plan.

"Since the island is largely under Republican control, we'll land our forces around the Toamasina area, which will be the site of our operations in Madagascar. From there, our forces will move south and help support the Republican forces against the communists. Once this meeting is over, I want a message sent to the Republican authorities informing them of this plan." Admiral Weber said.

"Of course sir, it will be done." One of the officers responded.

"Good. Once our fleet enters the Indian Ocean, I want reconnaissance planes to fly over sections of Madagascar and report back on what they find regarding the enemy positions. Once that's done, we'll have our bombers rain hell upon the enemy forces." Admiral Weber stated.

Once the meeting was finally over, a message was relayed to the Republican forces.

To the Republic of Madagascar,
This is a message from the Deutsch-Francian Expedition Force. We are currently on our way to support your cause, and as it stands currently, we believe that the best place for our forces to land is around the city of Toamasina. Once our forces have arrived, we promise your government that we shall fight until the very end.

Sincerely,
The D.F. Expeditionary Force

LANDFALL
CHAPTER 4 | ARC 1 "THE ADMIRAL"

”The Worker has toiled under the jackboot of the bourgeoisie for long enough. We are the people - the driving force of this nation. Yet, our King has ignored us, forced us to toil under the whips of slave-masters.

On this snowy day, I declare the start of the first communist state in Galan. Weltkria. No longer will we be oppressed by the jackboots of capitalism - the same jackboots which ripped us away from our families.

No longer. The flame of the revolution is burning, and it will not be put out.
- Comrade Erik, 1728 - Storming of the Weltis Castle

KINO - Summer is ending
ECG-1 “ROANOKE”, RFS-3

There was a single thing that defined the revolution - an inflammable flame, burning bright in the eyes of the worker. The flame that burnt the bourgeoisie from their castles and monuments of arrogance, the flame that liberated the worker from their chains. It was a beautiful yet grotesque flame - one that each member of the Weltkrian Military had the duty to tend to, to spread across the world.

The pilots of Rotor Flight Squadron Three had the unique distinction of spreading the flame of communism to the oppressed workers of Madagascar, liberating the beautiful tropics from the jackboot of the capitalist.

No longer would capitalistic boots stamp on the beautiful tropics.

No longer would capitalistic factories oppress workers.

No longer. The capitalists would be kicked from this Island, consumed by a wave of red.

“Angel-2 to all, starting Operation Whirlwind. Good luck out there, we’ll need it.” Lieutenant Wegener smirked as he banked his helicopter to the right, the throne to the revolution following his every command. He spit out flare after flare to avoid incoming missiles - it also had the secondary effect of intimidating the Capitalist tykes, making them run and scream at the angel of death.

For Wegener, he was indoctrinated into the Weltkrian way of thought since his childhood. Red banners filled his house as he marched on the streets with his fellow scouts, acting as the vanguard for the everlasting revolution. He hated the capitalists with all of his heart - they put worker after worker into unethical sweatshops, the crack of whips burning every worker they came across.

“Ideologian, initiating operation.” He said, as he sped towards his target. Two transport helicopters followed him - armed with dual machine-guns. They would make the oppressors pay.

The blue sky sped by as he approached his target, the chopping of his blades signaling death to any that approached him. His helicopter glistened in the sky as he thundered towards his targets, weapons at the ready.

“Get ready!” he yelled, his gunner nodding as he armed the gun. A high-pitched beeping filled his cockpit as the master-arm was thrown, allowing him to engage. A smirk came over his mouth as he lined up his deadly load of rockets, the Revolutionisa rockets almost screaming as they were lined up.

He couldn’t tell the amount of rockets he released. The helicopter lurched back as the rockets screeched forward, explosions bubbling as they saturated an entire road - leaving no survivors. It was the epitome of overwhelming force, the personification of Lady Red.

An ear-shattering chatter hit him as the gunner started to work, the rotary chain gun throwing innumerable amounts of rounds down-range. Fire filled his view as the gun reaped its bloody toll, dismantling militiaman after militiaman. It was the best type of feeling - rapturous joy, for the Revolution!

It was monotonous work. The scattered marines of the 2nd Marine Expeditionary Force didn’t get that much action, they were loitering around the city. The side-gunners went to work as they sprayed hundreds of tracer rounds down-range, clearing street after street as the helicopters waited for the order - the order to land, disgorge the marines and leave.

Two heavy-lift helicopters stormed in, carrying platoons of marines as they roared by. Madanaro was depressing - it was the worst parts of urban warfare, combined with the smells of a third-world country. It was worse than the apartments back in Weltkria, big drab gray blocks replaced with a mixture of corrugated metal and shanty-towns.

In essence, a nightmare for any organized force. It would take days to fully clear, an unacceptable occurrence. Captain Meinard watched as an attack helicopter flattened an entire row of shanty-houses, terraforming the urban terrain to be more favorable to the marines. He saw the SOF teams wave them in, a small clearing in the dense forest.

The helicopter set down as Captain Meinard ran out, taking special care to duck. His men automatically set up a perimeter, senses honed by months of drilling and training.

He didn’t salute the leader of the SOF team - it would be idiotic, and turn the teams into sniper bait.

“Right, any problem spots?” He said. His squad would clear them out - conventional infantry, block by block.

“Yup, snipers over there” - the SOF leader pointed to a wrecked building. “A bunch of militia is set up all over the place, get your MOUT kits ready. Casualties will happen.”

“Got it.” The Captain said. He motioned to his men. “What are you waiting for? Let’s move!”

He marched forward into an uncertain future.

The hum of the 5-days IFV filled his ears as the IFV rose up from the pearly sea, the IFV scrolling for targets as it proceeded forward. He had a single task - punch through the city, and secure a landing zone for the heavier units such as armor and other, heavier IFVs.

Lieutenant Buckholm watched as the rest of his platoon joined him, the platoon of 4 IFVs rising from the sea as they fanned out, disgorging infantry. He ducked inside the IFV to take cover from the elements.

His sights told him one thing - the city was ruined. Hundreds of shanty-houses were destroyed by liberal use of air-support, the survival of Weltkrian Forces considered sacrosanct. They had given the civilians a few hours of warning before operations fully started - he hoped that they had all gotten out.

He watched a rocket slam into a concrete building, the building collapsing under pressure. It was war - primitive, destructive and worthless. Lieutenant Buckholm had joined to get out of prison, not “liberate” countless isles from the “jackboot” of democratic oppression. Buckholm was a socialist - but he wasn’t a card-carrying member, and he was quite disillusioned.

Sighing, he continued forward. His infantry platoon fanned out as they secured a path for the armored vehicles - an RPG slamming into his IFV would ruin his day. Explosions filled his view as breach-kits from multiple units detonated, infantry streaming into the city.

He had a 30mm autocannon, and a single centimeter of composite. That was all he had - all he had against the horrors of war, against the reaper - who looked down with a sadistic smile on his face.

Grand Hall, Norrhammar

"Fuck the god damned commies," President Manchester would say, while pouring himself a cup of scalding hot coffee. He'd sit down in his chair and set his coffee on his desk. He is quite angry, in fact, he is furious. "We need to stop those commies!" he continues, taking a sip of his coffee.

"Don't worry sir, we have more bombs-" one of the military executives says, until he is abruptly and rudely cut off by Manchester, "I don't want more bombs! I want the island back!" he interrupts in a gruff, frustrated voice, then he slams his hand on the table. "I want Madagascar back, I don't want another commie in the Indian ocean," Manchester continues, "next India is going to revolt! We'll lose all of our Indian ocean claims!"

"Don't worry... we can fix it," one of the staff says. "Good, I want it fixed and I want it fixed soon!" Manchester says. "It's almost Christmas, I want to spend time with my family, not worry about a fucking island!" he continues.

Manchester gets out of his chair and storms out of his office, but says "Meeting dismissed, thank you," before leaving.

"Fuck the commies..." he whispers while walking out of his office.

We gladly accept to those terms provided in your latest transmission. We shall help liberate Madagascar from the communists, and we formally withdraw our claims to the island. Essentially, we wish for Madagascar to become a puppet state of the winners of the war (our nations) until the state is built back up, then they can unofficially be free from our grasp. Or, if you wish, we can simply let them free when the war is done and let them become a dictatorship and/or police state, or we can fund the democrats to sustain democracy.

High above the island, Blackbirds make their flight. Too high and fast to be intercepted by most aircraft in the air, relying on sheer speed to stave off SAMs, the aircraft soon find their targets and tick them off. Convoys and bases are marked off for destruction, while below, the Gonswanzan carrier task force takes in the data and programs waiting drones with their strike missions.

Further out, over the ocean, the bombers get their targets as well, as tankers help refuel them, feeding their hungry engines and ensuring they can return home. Even then, the crews were enjoying their time in the skies, checking on things, ensuring that they were on course and on time. TU-160s, C-32s, EB-52s, all flying in wings of destruction, ready to bring hell to the island as they soon split off into their own strike groups.

While this goes on, central command in Sri Lanka rakes through the data, checking over targets and assigning plans for the various aircraft. The plans are laid bare for them, though over encrypted datalink, the invisible hand helps to gently nudge the lumbering bombers into position.

Indian Ocean- Around Madagascar

The blockade was (in the simplest terms) bypassed (although if the originally hostile one was no longer extant, and the new allied one let you through quickly, was it really a blockade?) and the fleet continued motion.

It had been the work of quite a few days to gather enough vessels to make quick work of the transport of both helicopter and Special Weaponry, and this process was further impeded by the “unfortunate” death of admiral Kim Petrov, with the small council that counted as his replacements being less hasty than he would have been, was he still extant.

This setback ultimately proved somewhat irrelevant, however, as the journey to Toliara proved safer than expected (the heroic efforts of the Weltkrians making the airspace far safer than originally expected), and ultimately the fleet made its way (in its entirety) to the location without much fanfare or trouble.

The transfer of the resources proved similarly, and luckily, easy, with the Chinook’s likely fate being sent closer to the frontlines considering the somewhat unfortunate placement of them in relation to the ongoing conflict.

SIC:

What proved less simple was the matter of the Nuclear Weapons.

The council that had formed during the journey had originally been intending for simply handing over the weapons and allowing them to be used with impunity, but the direct line to Omiskan had shortly cut that plan down after a discussion with certain Allies abroad.

Instead, they would have to dedicate a garrison of 2000 men with a few officials with knowledge of the codes to the location, as it had been decided that the natives would only receive full access to the weapons once the war ended, to prevent a future invasion.

This necessitated the creation of fortifications far greater than originally expected around the weapons themselves (which had not been set up to prevent a strike from a hostile air power (however unlikely)) from necessitating the purchasing or bringing in of more weapons.

It would take a few weeks to set up enough defenses that it was safe to set up the nukes, but once they were, hopefully the threat of atomic retaliation could force the enemy off the island entirely, or at least prevent more transport from hostile powers.
