A Multiversal-Link has been connected between the multiverse and ECM-3. Not long after the massive portal from ECM-5 opened, Krieg ships began flooding through the large portal, bombardments beginning to hit parts of Shikoku and Honshu. These parts were Kyoto, Tokyo, Yokohama, Kobe, Osaka, Oita, and Kochi. Following the orbital bombardments, EMPs began to strike the aforementioned cities, shutting off all electronics within range: Vehicles, phones, and even life support. Landings had begun in Oita, Yokohama, and Chiba. Few war crimes were reported to have been committed by the Krieg so far. Avengers and Marauders were targeting naval vessels to support a landing force, though not all were military vessels, as it also hit cargo ships and cruise ships.

Krieg was requesting all possible assistance in the war against Japan, whether it be through supplies, or military aid. It wasn't just the Krieg who had requested aid however, as Japan soon sent out its own plea for help. Rumors were spreading about a Krieg Artillery gun that fired completely silently. Rumors were also spreading of 7 giants who reportedly were the commanders of the Krieg forces.

Krieg has promised money, resources, and possibly land to anyone who assists it in the war, along with 2 million Imperial Thrones as a bounty for the deaths of any entity claiming itself a God.

Oita
The landings in Yokohama and Chiba had retreated, however, the landing force occurring in Oita was beginning to push up. Landing force Alpha-Zulu began its aerial landing in Oita, taking enormous losses from Anti-Aircraft weapons. The initial landing force of 300 thousand guardsmen was devastated at first, having 50 thousand losses within the first hour, with the JSDF having taken only 200 losses from the initial landing. After another hour, the Guardsmen had managed to secure a beachhead and a landing zone, with Grenadiers hunting for Anti-Aircraft systems. Valkyries were beginning to land at the secured landing zone, taking less losses now that they had a place to land that was MOSTLY safe.

After 2 hours, the push into the city of Oita began. JSDF were putting up heavy resistance to the Krieg forces, but were starting to take heavy losses, having 2000 losses already. 200 "Wraith" artillery guns that Krieg had brought up began to fire, killing Krieg and Japanese alike. A few ports were secured after heavy fighting, after which, Krieg requested that anyone who was willing to fight alongside Krieg please go to these ports.

The Commander of the 90th Grenadiers, the "Butchers", Commissar Gerhart Domakalon, is reported as having said "No god can help these heretics now! Bring the scum to their knees! If so-called 'Gods' try to interfere, bring me their heads!"

Japan

Space

There is a flicker in the void. Then a flash, as a portal opens and over a hundred Skreetan torchships pour out.

These are the transports for the 202nd Army Group of the Authorized Militia on the orbital Skrag's Vindication. The 202nd, commanded by Field Marshall Santara, is composed of the 601st Drop Army under General Karg, the 634th Drop Army under General Eskedisi, and the 673rd Drop Army under General Ramuu.

Not one of these illustrious generals know where Japan is. But the call for aid has gone out, and the bizarre bird-men intend to answer it as best they can. Which means performing divination rituals to appease the spirits of this star system and discern where they are most needed.

So it was that over a million power-armored Skreetai, 5,500 Baneblade sized tanks, 5,200 Artillery Pieces, 1700 MLRS systems, and 1,200 aerospace combat aircraft fell from the sky... just north of Seoul. On top of the North Korean gunline.

The Krieg had clearly done a great deal of damage to the peninsula, as the energy signatures north of the DMZ were pitiful, and the people there were clearly starving. The spirits must have known that the "Japanese" were desperate for deliverance from their "foreign" oppressors.
