(Out of Character: No one line posts or unrealistic military numbers and such forth, this will be much similar to the "It Was About Time" storyline, involving the same characters in new places. Unlike Aequors, this battle will be up to the hands of the roleplay in it, you can either support Constans or Algidus, or even your own agenda in the battle to come.
The first few posts will be mine as I set up for the invasion and such, the below post is an introduction.)
"I guess it’s not a joke."
Around the room, windows made with rose glass lined the walls, paintings of famous saints covered the ceiling and in the midst of it all was a entire operational command center, lined with state of the art equipment, conference tables, drinks, and men to fill it.
At the center of the lighted room sat Major Ludwik Kamiński, veteran of the Battle of Mutralv, veteran of the Occupation of Aequors, and leader of the Aequorsian garrison. His hand moved upwards and adjusted his helmet back into place over his buzz shaven head as his brown eyes focused on the paper in front of him.
"One Island isn't good enough for them, eh?"
A smile drew across the major's face as he looked over at his trusted friend and advisor, First Sergeant Julek Dudek whom hovered next to him, reading over the paper with a cigar in his mouth, the ashes slowly drifting off to the fanned wind in the room.
"Those things are going to kill you before a bullet does, Julek." A grin wiped across the face of the sergeant as he knocked ashes into a small plastic ashtray that sat motionless on the table. "I doubt that, sir."
Ludwik leaned back as the canvas chair beneath him creaked underneath his equipment, and gave warning signs of tearing. "Well, Julek. I suppose its been a good trip, I really was starting to like this place." His eyes shifted around the room and his smile turned to a smirk as he pushed himself up, his arms using the table in front of him as a base.
"Let's get underway, notify Captain Adamski that command has put him in charge of the island. Assemble Able Company and the CFU-17's."
Julek gave a brief nod of his head as he turned on a heel and walked back towards the so called state of the art equipment, and begun to issue orders as if his life had depended on it. "I really don't know about this government anymore. Aequors and now Algidus. Ludwik shook his head while exiting the room and into the beaming sunlight of the day.
