If so, please give a brief description of its ideology: The Great Forest is a pseudo-hivemind of psionic superorganisms comprising entire ecosystems, centered around massive trees that serve as the backbone of their lives.
If not, which existing faction do you intend to join?
What would your motivations and goals be in this conflict? The Great Forest is, for the most part, unconcerned with the ongoing war against Maiya due to its unique physiology making subjugation by the utilitarian impractical, as it would dissolve and thus kill the Forests. However, concerns regarding Wolfram Omega, which could easily hijack its biosystems for its own ends, may drive it to ally with either or both sides of the conflict in interests of self-defense.

If so, please give them a name and a brief description of their personality: The Path-Mother is a psionic gestalt presiding over the vast majority of the Forest, and is the backbone of its FTL system. It is rather neutral and detached from realspace matters beyond tending to itself, but some speculate that it is merely biding its time for the psionic potential of the Forest to grow great enough for it to enter base reality.

Does your nation have magic users, psions, or other forms of metaphysical tomfoolery? (Y/N) Yes
If so, please give a brief description of the scope and limits of magic/psionics/etc. in your "normal" canon: The exact extent and means by which the Forest exerts itself on reality has not been ascertained, but is gathered to grow stronger the greater the scale of the Forest, therefore the further towards their core one travels, the more prevalent and powerful the effect is. Primarily, the Forest's "magic" operates on the application of motion, interface with the mind, and manipulation of biological and pseudobiological(i.e. nanite) structures. The exact scope of these varies, but in general are applied as part of its interplanetary/stellar/galactic travel network, telepathic interface, and self-maintenance or medical service. However, these can easily be weaponized into devastating telekinetic and telepathic attacks, and helps reinforce the Forests greatly against threats such as engineered plagues, biological or otherwise.

I'm going to give you the same advice that our dear OP Hahoalki gave similar applications. A nation like this is way too weak, ICly, relative to everyone else to be able to have much of a narrative impact. I strongly recommend you to make a proper mind for this reason. You also probably don't want to restrict yourself entirely to dumb weapon but that's probably more of an aesthetics thing in most cases.

I don't think this is just a firepower problem. This is a systemic problem with the design and vision of this nation as a whole contrasted against the default assumptions present in this RP's premise and setting. We're trying to wage total war across something like 2 billion light years of the observable universe and the necessary industry, logistics, and computation required to enable that would have to be present if you want to sustain your presence in the RP beyond like maybe one or two battles. That's why even though not having a mind is technically an option on the application, I've never seen Hahoalki accept a player that didn't have at least one mind.

Having that mind enables you to have all of those resources necessary as well as giving you the abilities to harvest infinite energy, run universal simulations, break the conservation of energy, break the fabric of spacetime itself, etc. all of which are abilities that are unique to minds in this setting.

I am interested in applying, the problem is I lack the knowledge in FFT technology and all that stuff (even half of my FT tech is composed of handwavium). Got a solid candidate for the Mind, though. The IC thread sounds extremely professional and my participation here will contribute greatly to my WIP fact book. Then again, my knowledge of those far-future technologies is still extremely limited. I'll join the Discord server, but the link seems to be expired...
