The Revolutionary Futurist Vanguard, and indeed the entirety of the liberated peoples who compose the Vanguardist Union, are presently observing the developing situation in Ardonia, wherein a military junta has recently seized power and initiated a political crackdown against both the revolutionary movements and the left-wing of capital. The Vanguardist Union, in solidarity with both the people of Ardonia and indeed all humanity, roundly and unreservedly condemns the coup and the junta, and does not recognise the legitimacy of the new regime. However, it is insufficient to merely condemn this event, and thus provide cover for the system of bourgeois democracy. We must also understand why this happened, and what must be done as a result. The capitalist system is filled with intrinsic contradictions, problems that it is unable to resolve that inherently push the entire system towards collapse and revolution. Democratic systems of governance can help ease this tension, slowing the process for a time, and the policies of social democracy fulfil a similar purpose, staving off crisis for as long as possible. Yet, nevertheless, crisis will inevitably manifest. Just like the capitalist economic system in which it is rooted, the democratic political system is plagued with contradiction. It is, at its core, hypocritical, based on the falsities of political liberty and political equality, and these illusions cannot stand forever. The coup and subsequent installation of a military dictatorship in Ardonia represents the breakdown of this hypocrisy, with the velvet-gloved tyranny of bourgeois democracy giving way to open despotism. The collapse of Ardonian democracy heralds the imminent arrival of capitalist crisis, as demonstrated by the immediate aims of the junta in attempting to suppress the revolutionary organisations within Ardonian society. The Ardonian bourgeoisie, and indeed the international bourgeoisie, have chosen to place their trust in the junta to maintain the capitalist system upon with their existence is predicated. History teaches us that they are willing to go to the any length, to commit the most horrendous and abominable crimes imaginable, in order to maintain their position. The only solution to this threat, the only way to snuff out this tyranny once and for all, is to wage a relentless war against the bourgeoisie and the whole system of capitalism. This war must be waged by the the workers of the world, united in their desire to build a better future for all humanity and the very Earth itself. Workers of Ardonia, unite! Neo-Korea announces “Critical Support” to new Ardonian Government

This Wednesday, the CGC has announced a policy of “Critical Support” to the new Ardonian Government, both congratulating the new government on its “elimination of untrustworthy and hostile forces” within the government and urging the new State to push back the deadline for potential elections to a more reasonable 10 years.

In a speech also delivered this Wednesday, Paramount Leader Beom Dae announced his hopes for future relations with the Andonian State in the wake of their semi-revolution, more specifically stating;

“…In the wake of this great event in Andonian History, the Neo-Korean State is proud to both recognize and attempt to open more official relations with the Military Vanguard that has liberated the people of Andonia from their previous kleptocratic and exploitative leaders.

It is the hope of the Neo-Korean State that, as soon as potentially possible, the heroic individuals who have saved Andonia from those who sought to harm it will be able to stabilize the situation in the nation, and ensure a stable state of some form (a wish that has informed our decision to encourage a delay upon potential elections).

Our Federation hereby states its official recognition of the military government of Ardonia as the rightful and legitimate government, as well as our support for the heroic actions undertaken by the military. We understand that corrective actions, such as those taken by the Ardonian military, often result in political and economic reprisals from the left-oriented world. We are also pleased to see that this transition has, thus far, been conducted with minimal bloodshed, with some regrettable exceptions. It is our hope that this continues.

We wish to establish mutually beneficial diplomatic and economic relations with Ardonia as they make this transition. Times such as these can leave a nation vulnerable as it reorganizes; while some nations may seek to kick Ardonia while it goes through this process, Our Federation wishes to extend a friendly hand. Further, the Federal Guard, Commissione per Vigilanza e la Repressione dell'Antifascismo, and Reconnaissance and Intelligence Directorate have been instructed to begin preparations to disseminate intelligence and legal products to the Ardonian government as they become relevant, whether to deal with internal terrorist threats or in the worst case of foreign aggression.

Any nation throwing off the shackles of neoliberal incompetence and oppression is a net benefit for all of mankind. It is a vicious monster, however, and there will be backlash from its thralls in your own country, and from its powerbrokers around the world.

President Michael Morgan was sitting in his office of the presidental palace, signing a new bill that passed in the assembly, which reminded him when he was a simple deputy and not head of state, oh how he missed those days; now he is dealing crisis after crisis, wherever this was social, economic or political, and currently it was all three. Ardonia's economy was becoming increasingly stagnant and was in a gridlock within the assembly over wherever or not the state should intervene. Social issues were also becoming a major thorn in the government's side, women were demanding more rights with paid maternity leave and free access to abortion, and although Morgan and the rest of his social democratic party supported this, the various right-wing parties in the assembly vetoed any support bill and were pressuring the supreme court to pass legalisation to make abortion officially illegal. The politics of Ardonia had also radically changed as the communist party had secured the largest number of seats among the left coalition and left many on the right in believing a full-scale revolution was going to occur, Michael knew this was nonsense of course but he still had doubts about the communists' true intentions; there had also been multiple worker strikes across the country of which many accused the Communist party of having a hand in.

Another issue was the military, it had its budget cut by half in recent years which angered a lot of its personal and staff, however Michael never feared a coup despite their threats, the military had always been loyal, and he saw no reason for that to change now.

He finished signing the bill when he heard some commotion and then what sounded like gunfire outside, he stood out of his chair and turned towards the balcony window, he then saw a tank smash through the palace gates, the gunner on top of it must have saw him because he turned the 50.cal up and opened fire.

Michael dove for cover as the glass shattered and the inside of his office was ripped apart, then a presidental bodyguard burst into the room and shouted.

"Mr president are you alright!?" before rushing over.

"Yes I'm fine" Michael responded.

"What the hell is going on!?" He demaded.

"The Army sir", the guard replied, "they've gone rogue."

"Rogue?"

"We have to get you out of here, we've got your family waiting in a car outside, we just nee-"

He was cut off as a wall of bullets hit his body, blood exploded everywhere, covering Michael's face in a red smear, a few moments later about a dozen or so soldiers walked into the room, they scanned it before spotting him hiding away in a corner, he shouted and screamed as they dragged him before one hit him on the side of the head with the butt of his rifle, knocking him out. He was then dragged outside and placed into a military vehicle and drove away.

Soldiers began filling into the capital city's streets like a swarm, setting up checkpoints around key areas, moving tanks around the assembly building and postioning them to provide support to the troops storming it. Some citizens, police officers and secrutiy personal catched what was going on and a few small scale firefights broke out, however these were qucickly ended and overall, only a 130 people died in the capital city.

By 10:30am the army had seized control of the presidental palace, the national assembly and now the supreme court, near all deputies were either arrested or weren't in the assembly building at the time and now the military had full control of the capital. It was now time the plotters of the coup, high ranking generals and colonels, to announce it on national Televison for the rest of the country and world.

Greetings and good morning citizens of Ardonia and the world. For over several years now our once mighty and great nation has been ruled by a clique of corrupt bureuacrats, who has bought to the verge of chaos and collapse, well no more! We know this may sound alarming, but we assure this is for the good of the nation, please, go about your daily lives as you regularly would, and do not try to resist or protest, you will be seen as a terrorist and a traitor and dealt with effectively. To the rest of the world, we hope you can understand and recognise our new government as the legitimate one of Ardonia, as this action is to save the very foundation of our nation.

Tantria to activate "Special Foreign Aid" for Ardonia

Just a few days after the official response regarding military coup in Ardonia, Tantria eventually take actual actions, but not in the way most expected.

Earlier today, Tantria's Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced the activation of "Special Foreign Aid" to Ardonia's Junta government, which include both economy and material supports. At the same time, it's also announced that the government will relax the requirements for Ardonia citizens to apply for temporary citizenship of Tantria.

This is the first time that Special Foreign Aid being activated ever since the act passed the parliament in 2003. It allows Tantrian government to provide economy and material supports to non-governmental entity or those government that are yet being officially recognized by Tantria.

"Our stance doesn't change," the spokesman of Ministry of Foreign Affairs explained, "We still hope that democracy will return to Ardonia, but we also believe that ideological differences shall not be the reason for us to ignore the instability of Ardonia's current government, and how much harm it could bring due to this instability."

Prior to, Ardonia had seemed like a sleepy, enslaved and self contained mess of a nation that had suffered under the now previous government. However, with this revolution, a glorious restructuring of the government into a more proper system, Gonswanza is almost delighted to welcome them into the greater world. In fact, its almost just in time for the March of Lanterns, though the government was late to comment due to more pressing matters.

"The old guard in Ardonia revelled in their filth, their rot. So called "freedom" while the people blindly followed like sheep to the beat of a decaying heart. Doomed from the start, condemned by the world. But no more. The people have spoken, and they have chosen well. A proper leader must be of the people, but also be capable of defending their nation. Gonswanza has also reached out to try to offer diplomatic abd economic support, while reports claim that they may have just dragged KTO to follow suit. The latter, however, is likely a false rumor to infer that Gonswanza is a corrupt country with influence over the KTO.

The Federal Republic of Countesia hereby retracts its threats of a blockade against Ardonia in accordance with the Kalisight Treaty Organisations vote to support the military government, as to not conflict with the interests of an alliance that Countesia is a signatory to. Despite such steps being taken, The Federal Parliament of Countesia does not and will not withdraw its CONDEMNATION against the Ardonian government for what we still consider an unlawful seizure of power and instead will focus on ensuring the safety of any and all Ardonian refugees that find themselves in Countesia, with ZERO possibility of repatriation.

Our offer to investigate possible cases of corruption in the former Ardonian National Assembly still stands. We hope that if the Ardonian military government truly has the best interests of its people in mind, it will approve such a request.

The government of Vikanias condemns the military coup in Ardonia, as it threatens the innocent civilians living in Ardonia, it is uncertain whether or not the new regime as the best interests of its’s people, because it clearly does not. Various Ardonian cities

Numerous protests began across the country as soon as the coup was announced, they began as small, peaceful gatherings of a couple dozen people, however they then began to attract hundreds and then soon thousands as news of the protests spread on social media. Protesters carried signs and placards with the messages "down with the Junta", "long live democracy" "Long live revolution" and "fuck your dictatorship". Normal Police officers and then soon heavily equipped riot police began to disperse the crowds with water cannons, tear gas, rubber and plastic bullets, riot police then charged at protesters, beating them in the streets, injuring many and sending a few to the hospital with hundreds arrested; this violence was filmed all over social media and would get millions of views online.

In one city, Valbeck, which was located in the north and was a huge base of support for the communist party, protesters put up more of a fight, they built barricades and fought with police officers, using sticks, bricks, clubs, glass bottles, chair legs, and various other types improvised weaponry they can get their hands on. The Valbeck protesters then began to become more violent and go on the offensive, attacking police convoys with Molotov Cocktails and stealing firearms. So far over 50 people have died, 140 severally wounded and 1000 arrested. The protests are expected to continue as major political parties and groups have called for "days of rage" against the junta with it expecting to call in regular troops to finally put down the protest movement and secure its hold over the country and remain as the unchallenged and singular government on the international stage.

General Clement Odovcar was sitting in the seat of the office of the presidential palace, his feet rested on the table, his hands behind on his head, he could get used to this, after all he's the one who originally planned and executed the coup, why shouldn't he be the one to lead the nation? It needed strong leadership by someone who hasn't afraid to get his hands dirty, and that someone was him...

Another military leader walked into to the room, Colonel Connor Vieno, accompanied by two soldiers. "What do you think?" Asked Clement "President Odovcar, has a nice ring to it, no?" he smiled before making an extravagant gesture with his hands.

"Don't get ahead of yourself", replied Connor.

"Fine, what's been happening?" Clement asked before sitting up.

"We've got protests across the country, thankfully most of the government has either been arrested or fled the country so they seem to be mostly disorganized, a few have been hard to crush, especially in Valbeck, 14 police have been killed so far and over 200 wounded".

"Oh for fucks sake, deploy the army, clear the rabble out, be brutal, take no prisoners. Anything else?"

Connor handed flew a bunch of papers onto the desk, "reactions from the international community, some positive, mostly negative, condemnations, sanctions, the usual stuff."

"I see, I'll draft a response and get it published by the afternoon, in the meantime we need to solidify our rule, crushed any dissent and present ourselves as the only legitimate and true governing body of Ardonia."

Connor and the two soldiers then gave a salute before leaving the room.
