I've been considering what action to take.

Joni has been hard at work deliberating a plan of action to deal with her impromptu rival... She realises everything she said was right, but now that Kathy's promised to fix the issues with the Matsuri arcology, her options are limited. She could promise the same, but that'd be disingenuous... Every plan, every strategy... All scummy, exploitative, terrible ideas. But Matsuri is her passion, she's worked so hard to build the arcology up from scratch. Even if it's the right thing to do, she can't just let a superior politician lead her baby.
After some stress, and a few pounds of weight lost, Joni decided to take advantage of the new laws Crimson Tree had passed... Tourists can become citizens by just signing up for it so... so she'd trick them into moving to Matsuri and vote for her, then... then put all of the policies Kathy had come up with into place. It's the only choice, right?
The Crimson Tree Culture Committee swears they heard Miss Cottontail crying in her office.

TEAM KATHY'S WAR ROOM
Immigration reform: Why is Joni Cottontail so desperate to prop up her flagging campaign?

Not content with misleading tourists about the true nature of many of the Matsuri Arcology's main attractions, Representative Cottontail has unveiled her latest ploy to hijack what should be a fair, democratic vote: give those tourists citizenship forms at the border, then encourage them to abuse Crimson Tree's secure, worldwide electronic vote system on election day when they get home.

It is important that the Arcology attracts tourists, but we are far better off doing this by improving the quality and authenticity of facilities than by asking everybody who gets to the border to sign up for citizenship and vote for Joni Cottontail, artificially giving her the impression of popularity. Joni knows that her reputation alone, inherited from the central government bureaucracy, cannot stand up to my strong, policy-driven approach to governance and the immense support I enjoy among long-term residents.

We all expect that citizens of Crimson Tree, like any other country, be loyal, patriotic and willing to make good-faith contributions. I will make sure that those who really want to live and work in Matsuri pay their taxes, benefit from strong public services, and enjoy secure working conditions - while I promise to pressure People's Representative Akagi into introducing basic citizenship requirements as soon as I can, to end the scandal of offering the vote to foreigners who know nothing about Crimson politics or culture.

[Xeraph]

The building was immense. Jada looked up and could count at least seven levels before it grew too dark to see any more. "Somewhat reminiscent of Le Louvre on Old Terra. Four stories laid out in a confusing array of paintings and sculptures. At least the food court and that dreadful glass pyramid had finally been removed."

Qac said, "These rooms must be three acres square, and there are four rooms per level. We'll be here all friggin' day!"

"More like all friggin' month." They stopped in the dead center of the room trying to decide where to start. A small globe hovered over them. In a pleasant voice, it asked, "How can I help you ladies?"

The women looked at each other, then Qac asked, what would be the best way for us to take in all this art?"

The globe answered. "Depends on what you want to experience. Art of all kinds is on several levels. We also have levels that include nature, biology, astronomy, and war history."

"Natural history would be of interest to us both."

"Splendid. The entirety of the sixteenth level is given over to natural history with exhibits of recreated animals and their various habitats. Be sure to make use of one of the holo-decks for an immersive experience."

"Alright, how do we get there?"

"Follow the double yellow lines at your feet to the vators. The yellow vator will take you to the sixteenth level. I will be there to help you with whatever info you need. Have a pleasant day."

As they walked along the yellow lines, Jada remarked, "I guess by vators they mean ascentsers." The vator rose quickly to to the 16th level and as they stepped off, they were surprised to see two immense screens directly in front of them.

"Holo-screens. Apparently a news program of some sort." They were about to continue when Jada grabbed Qac's arm. Pointing at the screen, she said, "Shit! Look at that!"

They very clearly saw a group of men running from other men with weapons. "Shit is right, Jada. Those are our Xeraphian buddies running from what I suppose are the local authorities."

The pair watched for a minute, then Qac said, "Well, fuck 'em! If they can't behave themselves, it's no reason for us to get involved. You with me?"

"You're right. Let's go. I'm sure it's all a misunderstanding." They looked at each other and laughed as they headed toward the big holos of ancient beasts.....

[Feudal Italia]

The Italians arrive at the Orenji layer to prepare for the wrestling tournament. Emperor Lodovico is accompanied by his Chancellor, Steward and Marshal. The soldiers and athletes start the construction of a small arena, with sand for the wrestlers to compete on and benches around it for an audience. The Emperor and his three Councilors sit on their designated seats. Emperor Lodovico rises and says: "Let the first match start!" The audience, filled with Italians and athletes from other lands, cheers as the two contestants enter the ring. On one side we have Aleardo, an Italian soldier, and on the other side we have Alayaman, a Mandé warrior from Mali.
Bets are placed on who will win, and the two men start wrestling

Maria Titov, Daughter of the Prime Minister, arrives at the Midori level and begins exploring. While exploring, Maria walks by a Russian Orthodox Church and stops to look at it. She loves the way the church is built and reminds her of the churches in Mother Russia.

[The Eliksni Unity]

After weeks of preparations. Variks and Liter are ready. A small stage is set, the banner of the united Houses stands as a backdrop. Just in front of the stage tables are set up where a couple of Eliksni volunteers bring copies of ancient books detailing historic events. Signs are added to the tables:

Variks sits center stage, next to a banner holding a large painting of a white ball. In the corner of the stage a large Eliksni figure sits, selling items for cheap prices, and even taking interest in buying from others.

Traditional music plays alongside the wonderous presentation.

Letters are sent out detailing the event, which will last indefinitely, or until Variks gets tired.

The Party lasted for hours. Until eventually, everyone was tuckered out.
Chaim's: Alright ladies! see you on my yacht, I guess...

Chaim's: Did I? Damnit. Alright, well, I guess we can "Arange" somthing or another. Also, The rest of the lobsters is yours, you can take it.

The four leave with White lifting Marial up.
Chaim's: Man, all that phycic bullcrap really takes the life out of you huh?
Marial: Oh, Yeah, no, its not like im using MY MIND TO LIFT CARS or anything.
Chaim: Alright, Alright, no need to snap at me.
Jess: Hey boss! maybe on the way back we can get some beef jerky?
Chaim's: What? why?
Jess: Becuase I know your top secrete information about how Marial is a fish
Chaim: Jess, this is black mail, I could get you fired for this!
Jess: Wait, hang on, Its actually true? I was just joking because her hair looked salmon colored.
Chaims staired at jess as he grabbed all his guns from the front counter.
Jess: OH MY GOD, IT'S TRU-
Chaim's covered jess's mouth with his hand and slamed it againt the wall.
Chaim's: AND YOU CANT TELL ANYONE.
The gang left, off to there next adventure.

“It was great fun, I look forward to meeting again!” Lissy calls. She turns to her partner, who had sprung into action at the first utterance of the lobster being theirs. “Um…what are you doing?”

Hilda has draped the hollow carapace over herself. “Well, with all the meat gone, I can do this.” She’s somehow managed to wedge the claws over her hands. “Shall we get going?”

“Heavens, you’re gonna smell terrible!” Lissy cackles.

Hilda hunches over, strolling around with claws forward. “The lobster goddess demands sacrifice…”

[The Eliksni Unity]

All Are Invited to the Eliksni fair being held in the Murasaki layer. We hope you may find time to attend and enjoy the activity. There will be food from our finest chefs being brought over, we hope you enjoy the meal as well as a regaling of the history of the Eliksni people. There will also be a small market set up where you can trade your goods for some of our goods. We hope you enjoy it.

[The Eliksni Unity]

The news of the arcological rivalry spread fast. Variks was in the middle of setting up dinner tables when he heard of such news. He was surprised, but not overwhelmed. He figured he wouldn't have much say in the matter anyway unless he was a dual citizen of the arcology. He looked at his fellows, all foreigners. He was indeed sure he could be a target for votes, as well as his peers. It was going to be an issue for his festival. Perhaps if he became a dual citizen, maybe he could vote to benefit his festival. Now Variks just needed to find the nearest immigration office. A small stroll through the arcology wouldn't hurt.

[Xeraph]

"C'mon, dammit! They're catching up to us!" They were all out of breath as they stopped in a filthy alley hidden from the main road.

"I told you not to pick a fight with that big dude. He would've beat the hell outta you without effort if we hadn't jumped him."

Sethanis nodded. "You got that right. But slicing off three of his fingers was a bit extreme, no?"

"So what do we do now? We're guests in this nation and we screwed up. They 'aint gonna care that most of us are nobility. I heard that it doesn't matter if you're a king or garbage collector. You break the law, you pay the price."

"Can we spin it that it was the other guy's fault? You know, maybe a self-defense excuse?"

"Doubtful. You slapped the big guys drink out of his hand then punched him in his face. No self-defense there."

"Wait! The ladies are in the center of town. If we can get back there quickly, we can say we were with them the whole time."

"The center, huh? Well hell, that's only six city blocks full of shops, offices, restaurants and a couple of museums. How the hell we find them?"

"Don't know, Seth. But it's a better choice than staying here. Them guards will find us sooner or later. If we beat 'em to a museum, at least we have a chance to lose 'em in the crowd."

Seth looked around. "Okay, sounds like a plan. This way...and move your asses!"
