[Sky Reavers]

OOC: I'll add some comic relief to this.

Time passed, as Sky Reavers sent their detachment of warriors from all four major factions have finally landed on a safe distance and drove to a friendly Ruissan compound near Petersburg in several Mad Max style ACPs, each having unique painting and insignia of both Sky Reavers and the major faction it belonged to. They have exited the vehicles upon arrival and decided to have some short rest before they would engage ultranationalists, wherever it's needed the most. Sky Reaver squads, made of men and women, looked rather... unorthodox, depending on a faction. They were looking like cybergoths, punks, hippies, metalheads, CNT/FAI militia and cowboys, but with tactical gear and modern weapons. Many their men had long hair and such... When Reavers said, that they are unorthodox, they meaned it. After arrival, Sky Reavers would clean their guns, smoke weed and drink their booze before a fight.

In the meantime, Overboss Liam Navarro came out and reported. Apparently, he decided to lead the squads himself, beliving, that he needs some exercise. He decided to not reveal, that he is the head of state of Sky Reavers. He would do so later, after this is all ended, for a surprise effect.

-"Yo', dudes! We have come like promised! Before we engage da' ultranationalists... what is the situation? And which direction should we go for? Yeah, we could just run into Petersburg with guns blazing, while yellin' battlecries and singin' Sabaton songs! But we would really appreciate some briefing on the situation, ally and enemy positions and such. So our force could be applied in the most critical direction. In fact, we would give ya' some beer for intel. Or... vodka. Either way, we are ready, enthusiastinc and up for a challenge!"

All of the Russian Soldiers looked at the 'Crazy Soldiers' until the general Viktor Sergei arrived he looked at them impressed and shocked at the same time. He stood silent for 2 minutes and he began briefing the Sky Reaver Warriors about the situation. He pulled out a map of the city it had all the name of the streets and districts.

"Our Situation here is very dangerous and your fighting tactics won't work... You are looking at elite mercenaries with Ex-Russian Soldiers and Ex-Police officers here.... But it's up to you on how you fight... But beware you are not only looking at just a band of mercenaries and terrorist with guns they also have tanks and armored vehicles. The Main Target is their leader Maxim Kastov.... He was a Russian military officer but somehow i don't know he became rogue. Currently they control the Admiralteysky District and in the Vasileostrovsky District they control the Municipal Okrug 7 in there. If they managed to take control over the docks in Vasileostrovsky they will manage to bring in much more armor and weapons. There is fighting in the Moskovskaya Zastava highway. You should head their first."

The Boldonian Gunship arrived firing on the Ultranationalist infantry they quickly dispersed Five of them we're killed. The Gunship fired a missile on the BMP.. It managed to land on the engine making it instantly explode. The Terrorist still stood their ground. The Praying Mantis PMCs started firing Stinger Missiles. Two technicals arrived with a ZSU-22-2 Anti-Air Guns on their back truck and began firing on the Gunship. Russian Goverment troops got up and began firing on the Ultranationalist. So did the Ultranationalist fire back. The Terrorist regrouped and started moving upwards the highway taking cover by abandoned cars. The Ultranationalists recieved a casualty blow and they are still moving.

Krill-2-7: "Not good! Not good!"

The gunship flared the stingers away and fled the area.

Krill-2-7: "We're sorry Poshkan-01, this aircraft wasn't designed to be under this much fire all at once. We'll see about getting someone to come by, but until then you're on your own. Best of luck, Krill-2-7 out."

The gunship left however they had been successful in getting a different aircraft to support Poshkan-01. A flight of two A-10Es were on the way, but they were 20 minutes away, so Poshkan-01 would have to hold out on their own.

Sons of Liberty Praying Mantis PMCs posted two snipers in the buildings near the highway ready to shoot any Russian Soldier appearing. The Ultranationalist kept moving forward and are met with machineguns fire from the goverment troops this stopped the militants for a while. They waited until the snipers fired on the machinegunner. Another Ultranationalist BMP-1 appeared on the highway it started firing striking at least three russian soldiers with it's main cannon. The Russian Squad Leader called for reinforcements, gunfire can be heard in the background.

[Poshkan-01] "This is Poshkan-01! We are taking casualties! Requesting Backup!"

[Yograshov FOB] "This is Yograshov! We are sending a unit to your location! ETA 10 Minutes!"

"But how do ya' know, if our tactics gonna work or not, if ya' didn't see them? No matter. Now, tell your dudes, that our jolly bunch is goin' to Moskovskaya Zastava to... Well, we'll improvize like we used to. Oh, and here is a pack of beers, we promised for briefing. Enjoy!"-Liam puts a pack of beers right on the table and then spends the next 5 minutes gathering his warriors. After he had gathered them in one place, he decided to give a speech.

-"Alright, dudes! Here we are in good ol' Saint Petersburg! A city, not ancient, but still awesome! Wish, I could say, that we are here to enjoy the sights and other thingies, but we some ultranationalist assholes are causin' some real mess and we gotta fix it, cuz otherwise, city gonna burn! The terrorists and mercs they hired are not just some bunch of pendejos with rusty rifles, they are ex-military and ex-cops, who have elite mercs by their side, and this is gonna be a worthy battle! And if we bring their leader dead or alive, to Russian authorities, oh this is gonna be so sweet! Are ya' ready, dudes?! Ya'll better be ready! Onward, to battle! Let us make this assholes feel da' good ol' Reaver frontier justice! Ad Victoriam!"-After the speech, warriors would split into groups and come closer to Moskovskaya Zastava.

Before the battle, Reavers would use several small drones to scout ahead from the air and pinpoint at least some weak spots in defenses. From up there, it looks like enemies are already running upwards and taking cover behind abandoned cars. Nice... Liam offered to start the party with "Fireworks". By attaching several grenades and C-4 charges, plus some nails and screws as additional shrapnel, to two drones, while leaving the other two for the future scouting, squad from Neoners, the most technologically developed faction, would send these drones right to the ultranationalist positions and explode them from as close as possible to the enemies, trying to cause as much damage as possible. One of the drones would fly overhead, explode and unleash a rain of shrapnel upon terrorist personnel, the other would be loaded with more explosives and go for enemy vehicles. No telling, if enemies could down them with guns before they reach the needed range.

Liam doesn't know, if this attack succeeded or not, for he and the squads are approaching the highway from different sides, planning a pincer maneuver. Some Reavers would leave transport, grab three missile launchers and assume the positions together with six guys with sniper rifles, they belive would be best for striking at enemies on highway. They would be covered by one of the APCs, on their way, in case, they could be attacked. Only two APCs remain for pincer attack, Neoners will arrive a bit later, due to thier playing with flying toys. This pincer attack would look like this... One APC fires from maximum distance and periodically backtracks, distracting the enemy. Meanwhile, two APCs, one of Neoner faction, once it arrives, and the other, which is already here, would attempt an attack, upon distracted enemy, hopefully occupied with opposite flank. When both APCs are in place. Let's hope, Neoners arrive just in time, otherwise, the distracting vehicle might get damages.

The Militants saw drones ontop of them. one of them dropped explosives they quickly kept moving and not pulling back four militants we're killed on the drone attack. One of the Technical trucks suffered damage on the engine but the crew was injured. As for the PMCs they suffered three injuries. two technical anti-air trucks aimed at the drones trying to shoot them down. An Enemy APC is suppressing the militants one of them has an RPG-26 and started firing on the APC.

The Militants kept going and finally reached their target they are now Four metres away from the Russian Troops a brutal firefight ensued. One of
the Praying Mantis Drones discovered an APC shielding 'Odd Looking Soldiers" The PMCs acted quickly thinking this is a Pincer movement. Two PMC Squads are sent to their location to stop them. The Ultranationalist BMP-1 started moving upwards the highway to aid the militants. The Remaining Militant reserves are arriving. The Attack Leader Vadim Bullet-Tooth dispatched two T-62 tanks to the Highway. They are coming in 20 minutes.

It took lots of skill and nervious moments for Neoners to save one of their toys intact and dodge the anti air gun fire. The other... made it back with severe damages. It won't be operational anytime soon. Still, the initial strike was a success!

In the meantime, the pincer maneuver is at risk of bieng in a pinch. Not only the enemies are preparing to counter this attack, but also they discovered the APC, that covered the snipers and missile launcher guys. They saw the drone, but it was too late. The only thing, one of them, a drunk redneck from Cowboy Republic faction, did is to shoot at that drone with a buckshot out of anger as if it's a duck. Thankfully, the APC did it's job covering the warriors, and now it would go around and assist the rest APCs, but it will take it a bit of time to arrive. Reaver frontiersmen (Snipers) have just arrived and were seeking for best positions, when they saw, that PMC squads and Ultranationalsit BMP are coming to enemy aid. They had to quickly try and halt the maneuver ASAP, so they just took the closest positions instead. Due to their positions being less than optimal, they were able to see the enemies only from limited choice of angles.

Still, they tried to at least slow down the PMC squads by attempting to wound their members, since it would take time for them to care for their own, or at least, Sky Reavers assumed that. Only one rocket launcher guy managed to assume the position in scramble, two are yet to do so. He shot a rocket slightly ahead of Ultranationalsit BMP. If he calculated rocket flight time and BMP speed right, the rocket would hit the vehicle directly. If not... he prays, that explosion wave will be still enough to cause at least enough damage to cause some trouble. Will the Old gods hear the prayer of a long haired warrior from Valhalla Bound Lodge? He won't know, for hem like the rest his comrades were changing positions.

As for the distracting APC, it's driver saw the incoming projectile and switched to the reverse and hit it as fast as he could, as fear ran through him. The worst was dodged, but the explosion still caused damages: Something broke inside the vehicle. While it's opreable, it wouldn't be able to go full speed agian and another indirect hit will render it immobile. As for the crew... Two warriors got slightly concussed, half of booze bottles are broken and driver embarrassingly wet his pants. Still, the vehicle came out again, fired a bit, but quickly went back, before militant would fire a rocket again.

As for the two ACPs, they have boldly attacked, unleashing bullet hell upon the ultranationalists.

The Praying Mantis PMCs we're under fire from a sniper one of them was hit on his kevlar body armor his armor withstood the hit and they took cover and saw the snipers muzzle flash. The Squad leader then ordered one of this PMCs to fire one grenade launcher round on the gas station that is near the sniper nest to create a black smokescreen. He Fired on the gas station making it explode the squads began moving to their destination.
The Ultranationalist BMP-1 took mild damage and repositioned itself next to an abandoned bus and fired back on the last position where the rocket fire came from.

The Ultranationalist Militants pushed back the russians and killed two russian soldiers and only suffering one injury. A Russian Troop Truck arrived they we're shot at when they arrived the troops quickly dismounted and took cover. After Twenty minutes passed the two ultranationalist T-62 tanks arrived both of them arrived with two new squads of Ultranationalist soldiers they are different from the militants. They are dressed as russian soldiers but with yellow, white, and black bands around their shoulders. The Tanks contacted the APCs and fired towards them.

Meanwhile in The Vasileostrovsky District.....
Fighting in the Vasileostrovsky District is proven to be interesting. The Ultranationalists have pushed to the Vasilyevsky Municipal Okrug. There is a rumor of Ultranationalist Tank Ace called Mississippi Queen. The Ultranationalist Terrorist are very close to pusing towards the docks.

November 20th, 2022: The Alterian Union, a union made up of Thunderbird,Aurelleon, and Niran had decided to place themselves on the world stage and get involved in global conflicts. The first conflict that came to mind was saint Petersburg as for the past days it was all the news was talking about. The kingdom of Thunderbird has become the first to decide that they will defend Saint Petersberg from the Sons of Liberty and the Ultranationalists in hopes of spreading the influence of the Arterian Union.

Soldiers of the Fire's watch and TAU infantry have been sent to saint Petersburg to stop the siege. Several trucks can be seen arriving at the city at dawn. Soldiers yell commands as infantry soldiers position themselves and barbed wire is placed down. The Fire's watch trucks unload the flame throwers and are ready to set fire to any ultranationalists they see.

Ulranationalist BMP fired, but the shot didn't connect. The guy with rocket launcher had left the place and went to other position. Again, Sky Reaver snipers and rocket launcher warriors didn't manage get the optimal positions, but now because of the black smoke from gas station, that not only smells bad, but also screens the battlefield. Reavers haave barely managed to find a position, from which it's possible to see the targets and soon, all three missile launcher warriors saw two T-62 tanks, shooting at APCs. A jackpot! Three missiles headed to the T-62s. Redistribution was unjust. One tank would recieve two missiles! The other... just one.

As for the snipers, their mark was highly professional and alert. And smoke prevented them from taking perfect positions. Yet, they still fired at PMC squad.-"Should have taken more armor piercing bullets..."-One of the snipers, the one, who hit some enemy in his kevlar vest, mumbled as he loaded a mag with AP bullets instead of the regular ones. Armor piercing birdies are... in very limited supply sadly. He fired a few times, but only, when he clearly saw the target.

In the meantime, the APCs have been engaged by the tanks. Due to clear disadvantage, they had to quickly backtrack, while firing at ultranationalist soldier squads. During the backtracking, one of the APCs was got hit it went back further, thanks to the momentum, but now, it cannot move. The good news, is that it's damage wasn't too bad and it can be quickly fixed on the battlefield with some jury rigging. The bad news, is that the squad within will have to be eslewhere, lest they want to be sitting ducks. And they'll have to help the handyman to fix the APC. Liam Navarro, who was with this squad, threw two smoke grenades to create a screen for APC and his squad, so APC could be fixed more safely, while his men will disperse and take cover.

After taking cover, Liam and other three guys used their belts as slings to throw Molotovs from safer distance at the enemies. Two bottles went to BMP-1, one to one of the tanks, and Liam's went to the place with concentration of abandoned cars near enemy position. Liam hoped, that remaining fuel in the cars would detonate from the flame and cause damage to the enemy. In the meantime, two guys followed the example, and used their belts as slings to lob grenades at enemy squads positions. After this attack, Reaver squad used another smoke grenade to cover their retreat to other, safer positions, from which the could observe.

A couple of Royal Navy’ recce UAV’s (usually MI-8’s MQ-8C’ed into a UAV), was monitoring the engagement from a distance which would prevent the ultranationalist’ MANPADS from engaging it, yet close enough for most of it’s sensors to give the crew the reading accurate enough. The Riverian-Ultranationalist engagement was of particular interest to the UAV’s operator, and their CO- they were hellbent on assisting friendly units- and while this somewhat violated “direct orders to avoid confrontation with enemy units”, it was believed that in this case, initiative might be very, very useful.
The Riverians would be radioed in (assuming that all of the allied forces have exchanged the necessary information) from the FFG(X)-class frigate “Resolving”- the ship UAV was from and the one which was the closest one, with the speaker, introducing themselves as the watch officer inquiring wether or not they require MEDEVAC assistance and what recce could the UAV provide for them. It was made clear, that any means would be done- UAV’s of this type were meant to be expendable, after all

TAU 40,000 infantry soldiers of the 109th armed TAU brigade have dug up trenches outside the city. Their objective was simple, stop more ultranationalists from coming in so the ones inside the city would be easier to exterminate by the Fire's watch.

Soldiers in the trenches were all lined up ready to fire the moment they see something..

An armored platoon of 5 M1A2 Abrams MBTs, 5 M2 Bradley IFVs and 25 soldiers started probing Ultranationalist lines with assistance from 5 AH-64E Apaches armed with rockets and Hellfire ATGMs. Every unit while slowly moving forward kept an eye on their surroundings for enemy snipers and RPGs with the infantrymen and women using the buildings and civilian vehicles as their cover.

We go to our field reporter Tim Pool, live from Warzone St. Petersburg! Tim and ANN are the first international media to report from on the ground, Tim what's the situation in St. Petersburg?"

"Well James I arrived in St. Petersburg with my Cameraman Ian by way of Finland and a chartered fishing boat. We arrived in the city a few hours ago and found a secure home base relatively far from the fighting. We got the satellite uplink going 15 minutes ago and are now coming to you live from the besieged city. We're here to get answers and we'll start by asking these local soldiers what they're fighting for."

Diplomatic Cable: Encryption Level High- Be advised at least two American Nationals in St. Petersburg. Tim Pool- Field Reporter with American News Network (ANN). Ian Crossland, ANN Cameraman go to Cameraman of Pool. Both entered the War zone this morning via Sea from Finland. Proceed with caution, protect and extract if possible, Inform Kremlin.

Moskovskaya Zastava Highway:
The Militants and The PMCs we're attacked by molotovs but luckily for them nobody was hurt just minor burns. They didn't hesitate they threw back Hand Grenades. The T-62 Tanks recieved quite the damage one was destroyed it's ammuntion rack was blown up by rocket fire the other tank it's external addon armor withstood the rocket fire. The T-62 fired a HEAT shell back at the enemies and fired it's DSHK machinegun. The Militants with the tanks began firing and moving forward they contacted an APC trying to disengage and fired at it a CGM-25 Missile when they locked on the APC the missile went up and down at the target. The Technical truck aimed on the building we're the snipers position was told the report was one hundered percent accurate and there was the gas station black smoke covering the snipers location. They fired their anti-air gun expecting to hit the sniper.

The Ultranationalist Militants managed to push back the russian troops from their original position the militants looted whatever was inside the truck that was disabled and looted ammo and armor from fallen Russian soldiers the militants on the highway quickly torched the vehicles and they are falling back. The Russian Troops ran to their original area and found nothing but burned vehicles and looted corpses they saw the retreating militants and began firing at them.

Armored American Platoon:
The Ultranationalist heard an american armored platoon are pushing in the Admiralteysky District. Maxim sent a detachment to stop their advance. The Ultranationalist went to the roofs and followed the platoon the terrorist placed SPGM-9 recoiless guns on the windows they waited for the right moment. Then they fired at the american infantry with small arms, grenades, and they engaged the enemy armor with RPG-26's and RPG-7's.

ANN News Crew:
The Russian Goverment assured the US that their news reporter crew will be safe and that they are in the Kirovsky District. Life in the Kirovsky District seems to be normal everyone is doing their jobs, busy streets. Russian troop trucks and armored cars can be seen blocking off some streets. The News crew was approached by a group of drunk young russian soldiers yelling "Take me to America!" they ran off as soon as they saw the Russian Military Police.

Following the decision to change the name of TAU to the UAEC there was also a change of orders aswell. All Arterian soldiers currently fighting in said Petersburg should now attempt to capture the city rather than protect it. The trenches now aim towards the city as an Aurelleon unit of 5000 soldiers from the 48th,39th, and 104th regiments lead by general Heinz charge towards the city killing any Russians that get in their way.

One of the T-62s got blown up by the Reavers to their joy. Rocket launcher guys were overjoyed with this attack. Even if the second tank didn't get destroyed with the one missile it got, the result is still nice. The retalitation... it wasn't that nice. A highly explosive shell just hit the building, where snipers and rocket launcher warriors were shooting from and caused lots of damage. One of the floors partially collapsed. -"Holy hell, dudes! Holy hell!"-One of the snipers in hippy outfit said, as he was coughing from that concrete dust and trying to deal with ringing in his ears. Another change of positions, and two rocket launchers fired at the remaining tank. Third one wasn't fast enough, so he fell one floor down after that collapse and twisted his ankle. He drank a hearty dose of alcohol and now tries to fix the ankle back. Still, his comrades will have to wait for him.

As for the snipers, their life wasn't easy either. Desorientated and with ears ringing from that explosion, they assumed the new positions. Not all of them. Three haven't done this yet, two got wounded and the third one tries to aid them. The remaining snipers however, decided to attack from two different places. One sniper was offered three joints if he volunteered to fire a tracer to heavy gun fire on his position, away from the position of other snipers, who would use regular ammo. The single, well calculated tracer shot was fired at a fuel tank of a technical. Sniper hoped, that this shot would ignite the fuel and make it go off. Did he hit? Did it combust? He doesn't know, for he ran as fast as he could, after he compromised his position.. Meanwhile, three other snipers would fire at the enemies, who were fighitng Liam's group.

Now, what about the overadventurous Overboss? Well... One of the grenades landed near him. That was a close call... While no one was hit or severely wounded, Liam's left arm got grazed by one of the shrapnel pieces. Well, another battlescar for this fine warrior! Molotovs didn't work? Well, it's time to throw several grenades then. Same tactic, but different details. Liam told a new plan and his squad splitted into two and decided to attack from different angles. When one of the squad halfs lobbed three frag grenades at enemy soldeir general position, using belts as slings, the other part would advance. And then lob their greandes to let the first part advance. After assuming the positions, they would fire at the enemy soldeirs, PMCs and militants from the covers from two different sides.

One of the APCs got hit with the CGM-25 missile. Squad survived, but APC is inoperable now. Now, two squads are out there. Thankfully, the APC, that was covering the snipers on their way had finally arrived and replaced the damaged APC, firing wildly at the enemy general positions from a high caliber machine gun.

What was even more unusual, is that they were radioed in by... Laka!? Liam decided to respond to this offer in an appreciative manner. -"Didn't expect to see ya' there! Twice so to be on the same side! So far, we are managin', but should we require medevac, we'll tell ya', cuz situation can change rapidly. Oh, and ya' also could share intel with us. Whatever ya' gathered. We would appreciate whatever bits of intel, we could use."

Ultranationalists and their mercs are tough nuts to crack, but so are the Sky Reavers. Now, Reavers wonder, what do Russian soldiers think of them.

The two jets, flying in a line, were seen making a loop in the sky and strafing other enemy positions around the highway.

One of the T-62s got blown up by the Reavers to their joy. Rocket launcher guys were overjoyed with this attack. Even if the second tank didn't get destroyed with the one missile it got, the result is still nice. The retalitation... it wasn't that nice. A highly explosive shell just hit the building, where snipers and rocket launcher warriors were shooting from and caused lots of damage. One of the floors partially collapsed. -"Holy hell, dudes! Holy hell!"-One of the snipers in hippy outfit said, as he was coughing from that concrete dust and trying to deal with ringing in his ears. Another change of positions, and two rocket launchers fired at the remaining tank. Third one wasn't fast enough, so he fell one floor down after that collapse and twisted his ankle. He drank a hearty dose of alcohol and now tries to fix the ankle back. Still, his comrades will have to wait for him.

As for the snipers, their life wasn't easy either. Desorientated and with ears ringing from that explosion, they assumed the new positions. Not all of them. Three haven't done this yet, two got wounded and the third one tries to aid them. The remaining snipers however, decided to attack from two different places. One sniper was offered three joints if he volunteered to fire a tracer to heavy gun fire on his position, away from the position of other snipers, who would use regular ammo. The single, well calculated tracer shot was fired at a fuel tank of a technical. Sniper hoped, that this shot would ignite the fuel and make it go off. Did he hit? Did it combust? He doesn't know, for he ran as fast as he could, after he compromised his position.. Meanwhile, three other snipers would fire at the enemies, who were fighitng Liam's group.

Now, what about the overadventurous Overboss? Well... One of the grenades landed near him. That was a close call... While no one was hit or severely wounded, Liam's left arm got grazed by one of the shrapnel pieces. Well, another battlescar for this fine warrior! Molotovs didn't work? Well, it's time to throw several grenades then. Same tactic, but different details. Liam told a new plan and his squad splitted into two and decided to attack from different angles. When one of the squad halfs lobbed three frag grenades at enemy soldeir general position, using belts as slings, the other part would advance. And then lob their greandes to let the first part advance. After assuming the positions, they would fire at the enemy soldeirs, PMCs and militants from the covers from two different sides.

One of the APCs got hit with the CGM-25 missile. Squad survived, but APC is inoperable now. Now, two squads are out there. Thankfully, the APC, that was covering the snipers on their way had finally arrived and replaced the damaged APC, firing wildly at the enemy general positions from a high caliber machine gun.

Ultranationalists and their mercs are tough nuts to crack, but so are the Sky Reavers. Now, Reavers wonder, what do Russian soldiers think of them.
