OOC: I’d argue that this amount of missiles, especially considering them having armor-piercing 200 kg warheads and being extremely accurate would certainly not “lay half of the city in ruins”- sure, the explosions might scare the population, but it wouldn’t be enough to displace this much civilians. Its not like they’re attacking places that might be of military value but still used by the civilians like infrastructure and, say, living districts

They will usually perform attack runs (rapidly advancing onto Ultranationalist territory, quickly depleting ammunition and turning away) in groups of two, on a pre-designated target for each of the 6 glide bombs each plane carries, always escorted around by an EW aircraft, whose sole purpose is to search and track enemy radar installations, including those used by the enemy ASM’s (Anti ship missiles)- two other fighters will always be kept in the airspace loaded with AARGM-ER’s for dealing with the radars. Such systems are of primary importance, as they pose a direct threat to the landing. This will go on for a couple of days before the landing- not enough for the enemy to quickly reorganize their C3ISTAR, restore supply chains and stuff but enough for the airstrikes to further saturate the enemy forces and “mop them up” coincidentally, these “couple of days” will also be enough for the fleet tenders to reload most of the VLS’ with new missiles. During this time, the fleet will continuously launch self-propelled decoys tuned to imitate the landing force’s RCS. Moreover than that, during these “bluff landings” all of the assets will do a little “radio play”, imitating actual landing undergoing- should the enemy “sink” one of the decoys, it’s crew will panic, cry for help, etc- all thanks to the popularity of the All-Naval Drama and Arts Contest! These decoys will collect information as they go, relating data on any enemy engagement or search radars “lighting up” to find them- considering that the fleet has retained some of it’s missiles and that a pair of fighters will always be on stand-by, it’s more than likely that any ASM battery willing to take a potshot would soon receive several “gifts”. Yet again the old saying “bullets don’t fly without supply” shall be proven true here- the fleet tenders carry A LOT of these decoys, so much that it is more than likely that by the time the real landing will be taking place, the enemy will wait for a visual confirmation that they’re actually shooting at things, getting which will be tricky, yet again- the AWACS/AEW will always be in the air- and any surface craft coming near the fleet will soon see a small but deadly AShM heading their way. To prevent civilian casualties, Lakans establish a no-entry zone near and around the way the landing ships will move into the bay- any unidentified contact appearing in which will be investigated and, should they fail to turn away when ordered to, destroyed. IFF will be done either through relaying IFF data to friendly units (only those who have shown themselves safe enough) or through Non-Cooperative Target Recognition-esque systems on less “trustful” allied and Russians (considering their lack of morale they might leak IFF data to opponents).

This will play a deadly game here- because the landing fleet will begin moving into the possible detection range (it is unlikely that the ultranationalists will have anything to detect them at BVR range with at this point but for the sake of the argument legs assume they will), which will then be followed by a second massive (30 missile-large) strike on the known locations of the units who might oppose the Marines. The purpose of this strike is not so much as to destroy the units’ equipment and supplies (which was the purpose of a previous air campaign), but do disorganize them- when a 400 kg HE warhead lands near ones’ barracks, no matter how radicalized and patriotic one is, they’re going to panic. To calm them down and have them organize a defense would take some time, especially considering that the threat of the invasion was looming in the air for several days by this time- perpetual danger tends to weaken ones resolve by a large margin, especially if this danger has previously often materialized in forms of low-observable glide bombs dropping out of nowhere and blowing stuff up. A large part of the fleet will, though, remain at the bays they possess only a minuscule close-range armament and would hardly fit the role of a landing support ship.

Moreover, night fighting takes much time to learn and master- Russian nightfighting training can at best be described as “severely lacking”.

All 40 of the fighters will be scheduled to be airborne at this moment, carrying a mixed loadout of ASM’s and glide bombs, their job to provide CAS for the landing marines. UAV’s, sitting at their ships beforehand because they had nothing to do, will now move out performing tactical recon for the marines, so will the hundreds of loitering munitions launched from the landing craft- these cheap but very useful things can run around in circles for hours searching and marking enemy targets, eventually oofing themselves into whatever target they’ll be pre-programmed to destroy, such as a vehicle, or a concentration of enemy troops. In the midst of the marines attempting a landing, one might not notice multiple other Lakan ground units arriving in a second wave of Ro-Ro cargo ships, ready to move in once the Marines will secure the beachheads. These units are mainly support ones, however some heavy and light cavalry units are also “mixed in” with the largest one being a Marine Brigade. Moreover, due to obvious political reasons, the first all-army unit to participate in the conflict is dispatched from Laka- “Alyaskinskiy Strelkoviy Polk” (Alaskan Riflemen Regiment)- a Territorial Army regiment nearly entirely comprised of recruits from the territories once comprising Russian Alaska. As common for territorials, they make extensive use of modernized Soviet equipment and have their own distinct uniforms, somewhat resembling those worn by some of the White Army forces during the Russian Civil War. Coincidentally enough, them being the descendants of the White Rebel Army (and the Russian Alaskan white army units), they still retain some of the Civil War-era battle jacks, some of the flags even seeing use in the First World War. They’re commanded by Major Borozdin- a very intellectual and well-educated fellow openly monarchistic and compensating for his lack of empathy with a very charismatic character. However, even in Laka he is infamously politically incorrect, somehow managing to get into a brawl with several Marine officers even before the troopship carrying them has left the port of Utadeh.

The third wave also includes more humanitarian relief assets, such as the gigantic Multirole Navy Support Ship- a supertanker-sized vessel fitted with a 70 MW nuclear powerplant, water purification facilities and water pump- in general it is meant to provide major relief assets for a large city for a month or two.

Bolodonian Special forces managed to destroy the BMP-2's Hull making the armored vehicle inoperable but the gun is and they fired Grenade launcher rounds towards the troop trucks they damaged the engines and atleast injured two soldiers. The Troop trucks ten militants from each truck jumped out and began firing towards them. A-10s fired on the freight ship the fighters managed to destroy a small volume of the equipment this didn't sit for the Ultranationalists they started using NATO Roland Anti-air systems three of them fired towards the A-10s.

The Interfront leader listened attentively to Maxim Kastov's address.

Vilen Mansurov was interested in nationalism, although he considered himself a person without a nation - he called himself a cosmopolitan or "Russian-speaking earthling." He was born in the multinational USSR, and after its collapse did not acquire national self-consciousness of any of the bourgeois nations that arose on the ruins of the Union. Among Mansurov's ancestors were Russians, Tatars and Volga Germans - for Russians such multi-ethnicity was typical. A Russian citizen ("rossiayanin") is not always an ethnic Russian ("russkyi"), just as an American is not always a white-skinned Anglo-Saxon Protestant. The Kremlin promoted the patriotism not of the Russian ethnic group (russkyh), but of the civic nation (rossiayan). However, Mansurov saw any patriotism as a tool of the ruling class: a way to mobilize the oppressed classes for the goals set by the oppressing classes. Formally, he has been a citizen of Russia since 1991. However, he was not satisfied with either the right-liberal concept of Yeltsin's Russia, or the Orthodox-chauvinist concept of Putin's Russia. Hearing that Russian-speaking socialists founded the Technoscience Leftwing community on an island in the Pacific Ocean, Mansurov went there, struck up a friendship with the leader of the island, and with representatives of the Chinese Communist Party. He lived on the island for 7 years, but at the news of the conflict in St. Petersburg he rushed to Russia: a long-awaited window of opportunity opened for the ultra-left to take power.

Mansurov noted for himself that Kastov's slogan about "a new free Russia without corruption" does not affect the main social problem - the ruin and enslavement of the poor by the ruling rich. And the nationalist rhetoric rather than captivates, but frightens the numerous descendants of mixed marriages from many ethnic groups, and even more so foreign migrants. Even when the nationalism of not ethnic russkyh but of multi-ethnic rossiayan was proposed, ethnic russkie implicitly claimed leadership in this community, assigning the role of "little brothers" to multi-ethnic rossiayan. This role was too second-rate. Having noted in his notebook the weak points of Kastov's speech, the Interfront leader thought out counterarguments to them, preparing his own video interview for tomorrow.

The Islander missiles are met with an extremely large array of missile defenses, with their initial launch immediately being picked up by nearly everyone ranging from OTH BMD early warning radars back in Hannover all the way to SPY-6 radars of the fleet and the AWACS. Although the command did not expect the ultranationalists to get their hands on an Iskander, let alone waste it attacking a beachhead (it would be a far better idea to attack Russian decision-making centers with it or some supply depots), they were still relatively prepared- they have anticipated that the captured beachhead would be shelled by the enemies, thus having combat engineers create several artillery shelters for the personnel to get in in case of an attack. ((I am assuming that the ultranationalists have selected the in-atmosphere flight path mode because otherwise the missile would not even be able to hit the beachhead because minimal target distance))- Immediately after detecting the target and the CIC officer giving an affirmative order with a push of a button, the fleet’s AEGIS system compiled and organized data from hundreds of individual sources, calculating the potential targets of the missiles, their flight path and assets available for intercepts, mere milliseconds later issuing out automated orders to the air defense assets. Due to the time being extremely limited, there was no time for discrimination of decoys from actual targets- instead of this the system has decided that the best approach would be to try and overwhelm the missiles with the sheer amount of interceptors and AAM’s launched- the fleet (which would move in closer after the marines would establish the beachhead for this very reason- to provide AA coverage) would lob SM-3 after SM-3 at the Iskanders, with the several fighters running CAP following the cause- considering the missile’s flight path and it having to take an extremely steep trajectory because of the limited range, the interceptors should be able to discriminate between decoys dumped by the Iskander and the actual missile (because the decoys have no engine of their own their trajectory will become vastly different from that of a real missile), which should make the interception a relatively easy task. Although the Iskander-M is a very potent missile, in the given circumstances it should be simply unable to effectively avoid interception- it it wasn’t just two of them being launched at a very small range at what is essentially a couple of dozens of floating SAM batteries. Although the Lakans have wasted far more than the Iskanders cost, they believe the trade-off to be more than worthy.

The Marines continue to move in using their “favorite” shock and awe tactics, fastly advancing in wide armored formations always followed around by a swarm-ish group of loitering munitions and UAV’s- although the remaining Roland SAM systems may destroy them, these UAV’s are relatively cheap to replace and in doing so, the Roland will immediately attract the attention of nearly everything with an RWR, half of which will try to gun it down or missile it- which should at least discourage the enemy AA crews from using their radar for target detection and acquisition. Of course, if their systems are IRST-equipped or support visual guidance they could rely on them but even so SAM’s usually leave a trail pointing directly at the location of the missile, whose launch will also be detected by friendly radar installation resulting in pretty much the same fate. Whenever marines will detect enemy troops, they will regroup, take defensive positions and give the enemy forces exactly three minutes to surrender themselves before the Assimilator’s 15-inchers, 5 inchers and 3-inchers (127 and 76-mm artillery guns respectively) will give them the taste of a Lakan “medicine” through a massive shelling using guided rounds. Although marine armored vehicles provide more than adequate protection for the troops, their main defense is being able to spot the enemy and acquire the targeting solution on them first. According to the Marine Conventional Warfare Handbook- the “Holy Bible” of their understanding of modern warfare, it was the information which was the most essential to ones victory in the wars of today- and their strategy and tactics reflected this on every level. After the “frontline” units- the heavy-duty armored Marine regiments came the second wave, whose job was to prevent the remaining enemy units from attempting to strike into the back of the advancing enemies- although they were lighter armored, using modernized versions of the RDF/LT light tanks and BMP-2M’s with ERA’s and APS’s they were better suited for their job- mopping up the remaining enemy resistance and clearing the path for the friendly units. All civilians encountered by the marines will be rounded up, forcefully evacuated from their homes and handed over to the Russian government for them to deal with the humanitarian relief. Although the Marines will do everything within their power to avoid accidental civilian casualties, they warn the locals not to act aggressively or be fired upon. Your usual marine is ill-equipped and ill-trained to deal with this type of situation, and attacking civilians who are obviously acting like enemy combatants is most certainly not a war crime.

At this point, there is no more covering up the invasion and the international reporters are welcomed in- provided that they agree to have all of the information reviewed by the censor before the release. It is prohibited to release any information regarding the amounts of Lakan troops involved, their casualties and conditions, as well as their tactics and the dispositions of the friendly units. Individual names of the participating personnel, Hull numbers of the vehicles, vessels and aircraft and other tactical information is also classified. The marines will almost always advance at night, going defensive at daytime with only limited attempts to capture important positions of vantage. No attempt to limit the destruction of the city will be made, barring culturally and historically important objects, though the Queen promises the Russians a 25% reimbursements of all damages directly caused by the Lakan invasion which could be classified as “collateral” one. Carrier-borne planes will continue to regularly fly CAS and SEAD missions over contested airspace, and although all of the previously mentioned means will be undertaken to defend them from the AA, a pair of Ka-29’s will always be kept on high alert for SEAR, should one of the planes go down.

Meanwhile, the wounded from all of the participants including the opponents are being funneled into the hospital ship, which is able to accept up to 6000 patients in well-furnished and equipped wards. All sorts of modern medical procedures can be carried out aboard, ranging from simple surgical procedures all the way up to some of the most complex ones. Although priority will always go to Lakans first, then allies and then enemy troops, no patient will be left unattended to die. Local civilians will also be brought in should they require medical attention. For security, a Marine detachment aboard the hospital ship will carry guard duties, and some of the patients who may try to “misbehave” might be shackled to their hospital beds or given non-narcotic sedatives to prevent riots and attacks on unarmed and armed medical personnel (all of the Navy corpsmen carry pistols- it is allowed by the Geneva Convention after all).

The CO of the LSMC units in the area, participating in the operation personally, as any self-respecting Lakan officer should, was Harriet-Suzan Littlefield-Danton II, Thirteenth Grand Duchess of Foxhaven- a good officer with more than 30 years of military service behind her, she is famous amongst other things for often addressing her troops directly, or the enemy troops. PSYOPS would make heavy use of this, instead of trying to talk the ultranationalists into surrendering, they will rely on sheer fear and giving them the lack of trust into their leaders, who unlike their Lakan counterparts prefer to hide behind their soldier’s backs, while sending them off to die against a technologically and numerically superior (no one will tell them that the marines are comically outnumbered of course) enemy.

SFG1 continued to fire on the enemy while a smaller group moved across the edge of the island twords the nearby ferry terminal. Helicopters continued to provide what support they could, but due to the layout of the area the support that could be provided was limited.

Meanwhile IRBS Iron continued the assault on the port. The warship focused on the SAMs while the A-10s departed. Helicopters also arrived to eliminate SAMs. However it wouldn't be easy, without support from fixed wing aircraft basically all of the IRB's wartime strategy was useless.

Belgium
IRBS Orlando arrived in Antwerp to rearm while a small group of crewmembers drived to NATO HQ in Brussels. The IRB had limited relations with this version of NATO, however they were at least cordial and the IRB crewmembers spoke with several NATO delegates. They showed them pictures of Roland SAMs aswell as other illicit western arms in an attempt to garner NATO support.

The Boldonian Congress officially declared war on the Ultranationalists in a heavily contested vote, only 15 senators out of 27 voted on the declaration. The leader of Interfront treated the preparation of the press conference and the video stream with the answer to the public's questions very responsibly. Automation was to supplant living labor, the goal of Interfront was a well-fed and liberated post-labor society, under the slogan "The greatest happiness for the greatest number of people." By happiness, Mansurov understood physical pleasure from things and impressions, an abundance of leisure; for those who wish - access to creativity, knowledge, friendly communication. However, such a project had enemies. Vilen Mansurov was convinced that predators, despots and obscurantists would not give up their power and privileges without a fight, and therefore the revolutionaries had to use force and conspiratorial methods of struggle.

Residents of St. Petersburg asked a number of questions about the experience of the USSR - in what way and to what extent Interfront wants to repeat this experience, and what aspects of the Soviet experience should be abandoned. Mansurov noted that in the USSR the sensory hunger of young citizens was underestimated, the big problem was boredom, gray design, excessive conservative regulation of culture and life, a lot of patriarchal, imperial and xenophobic remnants left over from the era of tsarism and agrarian backwardness. The problem that irritated the youth in the USSR was forced childbearing, forced to labor, forced pro-government social activity. On a new round of development, the radical left must avoid the same mistakes. Encourage the emancipation of culture and life - the diversity of subcultures, fashion, hobbies, lifestyles and art. For hedonists, diverse simple pleasures should be available, and for inquisitive, creative, altruistic people - the possibility of creativity, knowledge, altruism. For aggressive people, one can find surrogate-harmless or socially useful forms of realization of their drives. Show more flexibility and tolerance, less coercion.

The audience also asked about the economy of the future. Mansurov noted that all attempts to ban money and the market by a jerk, a revolutionary decree, were unsuccessful. It is more reasonable to nationalize large monopolies, while preserving small private businesses for the transition period, provided that entrepreneurs are loyal to left-wing ideas, and that they comply with antimonopoly and labor laws. The private sector will be squeezed out of the economy gradually, as it yields to the public sector and altruistic creators in the availability, quality and variety of goods. It is appropriate to create several platforms: for the labor and consumption of employees of state enterprises, for non-working recipients of the social package, for the redemption of new works from private creators, and for altruists who want to share their works for free. These sites will be based on the state systems of energy, transport and communications, with a different limit of raw materials and energy for different tasks and consumers, and with access to the means of production, wetripled for flexible consideration of unique customer requests instead of conveyor uniformity (flexible manufacturing systems, 3D printing).

In politics, after the victory of the Interfront, it was necessary to fight against the reactionaries, and to restrain the dangerous craving of the bureaucracy for the conservative Asian despotism. The Militants and The PMCs we're attacked by molotovs but luckily for them nobody was hurt just minor burns. They didn't hesitate they threw back Hand Grenades. The T-62 Tanks recieved quite the damage one was destroyed it's ammuntion rack was blown up by rocket fire the other tank it's external addon armor withstood the rocket fire. The T-62 fired a HEAT shell back at the enemies and fired it's DSHK machinegun. The Militants with the tanks began firing and moving forward they contacted an APC trying to disengage and fired at it a CGM-25 Missile when they locked on the APC the missile went up and down at the target. The Technical truck aimed on the building we're the snipers position was told the report was one hundered percent accurate and there was the gas station black smoke covering the snipers location. They fired their anti-air gun expecting to hit the sniper.

The Ultranationalist Militants managed to push back the russian troops from their original position the militants looted whatever was inside the truck that was disabled and looted ammo and armor from fallen Russian soldiers the militants on the highway quickly torched the vehicles and they are falling back. The Russian Troops ran to their original area and found nothing but burned vehicles and looted corpses they saw the retreating militants and began firing at them.

Armored American Platoon:
The Ultranationalist heard an american armored platoon are pushing in the Admiralteysky District. Maxim sent a detachment to stop their advance. The Ultranationalist went to the roofs and followed the platoon the terrorist placed SPGM-9 recoiless guns on the windows they waited for the right moment. Then they fired at the american infantry with small arms, grenades, and they engaged the enemy armor with RPG-26's and RPG-7's.

ANN News Crew:
The Russian Goverment assured the US that their news reporter crew will be safe and that they are in the Kirovsky District. Life in the Kirovsky District seems to be normal everyone is doing their jobs, busy streets. Russian troop trucks and armored cars can be seen blocking off some streets. The News crew was approached by a group of drunk young russian soldiers yelling "Take me to America!" they ran off as soon as they saw the Russian Military Police.

Infantrymen and women immediately took cover inside various buildings while returning fire. The armored vehicles pressed forward with RPGs flying everywhere. One RPG hit the lead tank but turned out to be a dud while another RPG hit a Bradley causing it to explode killing everyone inside. An Infantryman fired his SWAW at one of the windows that had a recoilless rifle in it causing an explosion. The Apache attack helicopters came swooping in firing their Hydra rockets at the Ultranationalists causing several more explosions and unknown casualties for the Ultranationalists. The Armored platoon began a fighting retreat with the Bradleys and the Abrams tanks firing back with their main guns and their coaxial machine guns.

A single vessel is sent to survey the cargo ship, politely asking it to stop and be inspected. All of the cargo ships within a 150-mile MEZ around the AO are usually relayed orders to change direction upon coming within a 165 mile radius- and upon entry into the MEZ a singular coast guard patrol boat or a fast attack craft is sent to escort them out of the MEZ or, should they fail to comply, stop them for inspection. Should the the cargo ship will be approached by a pair of fighters, which will perform aggressive overflight and visual inspection- after this, when the ship will close to ~125 miles and be intercepted by a boat and it’s helicopter carrying the boarding party. Usually, they’d send out coast guard cutters or patrol boats, however in this case, probably due to these ships having next to no use sitting near Petersburg, they’ll be met by one of the three Visby class-like corvettes arriving with the “third wave”. This corvette possesses an extremely low RCS- and relatively fitting, carries an extremely low-RCS helicopter resembling a US RAH-66. Unable to carry the landing party, the RAH-66 will instead fly in circles around the cargo ship blaring thismixed in with relayed orders from the corvette to stop engines and prepare to receive a boarding party. Fifteen minutes after the helicopter will start playing The Party’s Over, fall back to ~7000 meters, seemingly to retreat only for it to then turn away and begin lobbing Hellfire ATGM’s into the ship’s smoke pipes, intending to destroy it and force them to stop the engines or risk starting a fire. After this, the Visby will threaten them again, ordering them to stop all engines and have all crew present themselves onto the deck ready to be arrested- the Visby will deploy a dinghy boat carrying the boarding party of some 9 marines.

Regarding the ship itself, the Lakan representative to the UN would inquire wether or not they have indeed sent out a freighter carrying humanitarian supplies into this sector, why did no one notify Lakans of it and, most importantly, what is the planned route of the ship. All of these questions are likely to be answered even before the jets will begin buzzing the freight ship. Furthermore, open-source intelligence will study any UN reports regarding humanitarian shipping attempting to figure out if this ship is truly belonging to the UN, and if not, then to whom? Should it prove falsifying itself belonging to a UN institution, it will be immediately engaged by a pair of fighters, which will launch Exocet AShM’s at it, targeting it’s rear area, hoping to damage the transmission or the propellers and knock the ship dead in the water. It’s crew will then be instructed ordered to abandon the ship, which will subsequently be sunk through use of Kh-29 missiles. Impersonating UN is a crime- a crime one has to pay for very dearly…

Of course, not all ships entering the MEZ are given this treatment. If it was, then it would collapse the economy of the neighboring Baltic states and Finland- and no one wants to do this, don’t we? Generally speaking the solution for this is simple- “for the protection of neutral shipping”, Coast Guard would organize several strict routes for the ships to follow- to use a route the ship would need to register it’s transponder- it’ll then be monitored and should it change directions asked to get back onto it’s course. While this is still much in the proposal stage, the Lakans hope that the governments of Finland and Lithuania will see the positives in this plan- it will severely reduce the possibility of active warfare occurring within their EEZ, and best of all- it’ll be nearly completely free of charge for them! Win-win situation, barring the smugglers, of course.


Meanwhile, on the ground

With the arrival of the second wave of marine and army units, the drive to finally capture the rest of the Vasilievsky Ostrav was on- although no one wanted to over advance and end up like the infamous Russian attack on Grozny in the First Chechen war. There were Lakan military advisors on the ground there- who have watched the Russians and learned, so were there advisors under Mariupol. The Lakans knew how to use armored units in the city- taking every necessary precautions and never ever push on without cover. When advancing through the street, they’d leave behind block posts, usually consisting of a couple of medium tanks, 2-5 IFV’s and a platoon or a company of infantrymen, alongside with some unmanned turrets and other support stuff. All of these block posts overlooked each over, able to lay down covering fire. They were usually located on points of vantage or throughout the supply lines- the Marines delivered supplies to frontline units in convoys of trucks, IFV’s armor and BMPT’s, in fact, most of the marine units who have done the initial landing were already in the blockposts replaced by the “fresh” ones. And these units were no joke, most certainly not.

One of the two main lessons that the Lakans have learned from the Russo-Ukrainian War was the need for a powerful, direct-fire armored support vehicle able to fire heavy HE shells- while a couple of hits from your standard 122 mm tank’s canon were usually enough to destroy both the attackers and whatever they were using for cover, the ability to “remove” the building in a single shot was always deemed necessary- and did they receive it, oh did they receive it…

The “Storm Tank” modification of the MBT featured a smooth bore 152 mm cannon, increased armor, sensors and protection equipment. It’s cannons shells were purposely modified with intent for it to be most effective against infantry in cover- it also featured thermobaric incendiary rounds and was the right tool for the right job…

The Lakans knew that something was off the moment one of the passive electronic system detected a new emissions signature taking off from a nearby location and remaining airborne. Furthermore, no actual air target was too small for the extremely precise radars aboard the ships in the shore to track- soon enough they have identified the type of the target, it’s heading and ordered the marines to deal with this. Considering the threats presented by conventional UAV’s, each armored company included a vehicle outfitted with a Dronebuster-like device fitted to it’s outside, able to be remotely controlled by an infantryman from inside. This peculiar device would disrupt the GPS and C2 links of the drone, making it loose contact with the controller, while the other device, a reduced-size version of the Royal Flying Corp’s NINJA-ish system would attempt to overtake control from the drones and crash them into one of the buildings, both of these tasks should be not that much of an issue against a civilian drone lacking any forms of protection from EW.

Because of the lack of artillery direction, the shelling would be not that effective- even the most accurate cannons need some help from the ground to give a semblance of accuracy. Because of this, the fire was anything but accurate, allowing most of the armor to safely retreat with minimal losses- while some of the tanks, IFV’s and BMPT’s lost some of their sensors, active protection systems and ETC, all were able to retreat out of the shelled area. What was even worse for the enemies- the moment their cannons have opened up, the counterbattery radar aboard the Assimilator has picked up the location of the cannons- and within mere 30 seconds began firing at it with it’s 76mm , 127mm and 15-inchers, launching extremely powerful HE shells in a large, powerful salvo covering both the area at which the artillery fire was coming from and the routes they might use to try and evacuate after the counterbattery shelling has started, to get even those who might try to retreat. A pair of fighters loaded with a mix of JSOW-ER’s and AAM’s were further routed into the area- they will survey it from from a safe distance using FLIR pod, try to find the retreating battery and then attack it.

The infantry attack on the armor was… Far less effective than they’d expect. Using buildings for cover might work against units with less advanced sensors and far less effective against tanks- your usual building would not last long against HE shells- and hiding in a building when facing armored units featuring thermobaric rounds is a VERY bad idea. Enemy’s anti-armor units would also not be that much effective- FGM-148’s optic guidance system is VERY prone to jamming with pyrotechnic defensive measures (like GALIX-6) all Marine armored units were outfitted with following the extremely effective usage of Javelin at the Ukraine war- other “softkill” APS, those that were not knocked out by the shelling had also proven their worth-but by far the most effective means of defense were hard kill APS, each saving the lifes of a lot of crew members. Several of the vehicles that did loose some of their systems in the shelling were hit- two IFV’s (Puma-BMP-3 hybrids with APS and the rest of the stuff), and a singular MBT, with it’s ERA/NERA/Composite sandwiched armor saving the men- while the tank and a singular IFV lost some of their capabilities but could still actively fight back, the other IFV has lost a track and had suffered several of the infantryman lightly wounded. Laying suppressive fire, the engaged units would take the infantry into cover, offload them and then, while providing suppressive fire with the BMPT’s and IFV’s (and the tanks demolishing whatever they were fired at from), the infantry would advance onwards, intending to take some of the militia prisoner.

Attacking the naval force belonging to a a fighting force well known for their dedication to night-time ops at night, having to cover several kilometers-worth of distance in speedboats was certainly not a bright idea… While the Assimilator was busy providing counterbattery fire, the rest of the fleet have sounded general alarm and ordered all hands on deck- even when simply sitting idle the ships would keep several watchmen with thermals watching the surrounding area, moreover my from time to time each ship in the fleet would active ping- out of fears of enemy frogmen, then again, finally, there were CIWS systems, always monitoring the area with their radars… Obviously said, the Parying Mantis were detected as soon as they have came into view, with all ships of the fleet lighting them up with projectors and firing computed guided shells programmed to hit a few meters in front of them, while blaring barely comprehensible orders to “IMMEDIATELY STOP YOUR FUCKING ENGINE”.

The change in types of AA used would solely result in MEDEVAC being done by specialized armored evacuation vehicles instead of helicopters- as previously said, the UAV’s are made to be expendable, thus despite extensive losses they’ll carry on to provide cover to friendly units no matter the cost- in fact new UAV’s can always be delivered by P6M’s ic they’ll begin to run out of them. The fighter planes meanwhile would be next to non-effected by this- they fly high and they fly fast, thus making MANPADS ineffective.

The drones we're shot down given this the artillery fire wasn't accurate luckly for them they we're warned by Inner Circle Agents about incoming fire towards them they managed to survive but they abandoned a small portion of the howitzers to trick the enemies that they are neutralized. After the failure of the drones The Ultranationalists further have launched a CH-5 Rainbow UAV the UAV managed to enter the AO the UAV operators saw enemy forces trying to regroup this information was given to every Unit on the ground the artillery team changed their position and began firing towards them.

The Militas are started to use dirty tactics laying IEDs, Booby Trapping, The Militas AT have been proven some what fairly ineffective they started aiming towards the engines or the turrets or they try to get close and open the hatch just to drop a "little present" for them or molotov cocktails.

C-130 Gunship
The Sons of Liberty Praying Mantis PMCs have launched a C-130 Gunship airplane guided by four Harrier GR.7A Fighters it's mission is just to observe and await for strike missions currently it has none. The Newly made upgrades for it are 155mm cannons the other weapons are kept the same.
