BIGTOPIA SURRENDERS TO DAPHOMIR IN 28 HOUR WAR The Daphomir Times

On the first of March, at around 4:29 PM Flumen time, Leader officially declared victory over the nation of Bigtopia, ending the nearly twenty years of disturbances caused by the shenanigan-causing country. After Bigtopia announced plans to construct a massive dam on the Flumen River, which happened to be Daphomir's most valuable trade route, Leader demanded that the Bigtopians abandon the project at once. Bigtopia ignored Leader's demands and began construction of the dam. Military forces were sent to the site in an attempt to scare the Bigtopians off, but they simply laughed, with the Bigtopian president visiting Leader in person and laughing in his face, "What are you Daphomirians gonna do, make our dam go boom with your tanks? *laughs hysterically* I'D LIKE TO SEE YA TRY!"

After several long, tense seconds, Leader then responded by coldly saying, "You know what, Biggie? I declare war." At these words, Leader pressed a button on his desk, and within seconds, a force of 230 tanks, 490 aircraft, and 3000 soldiers stormed into Bigtopia. The Bigtopia-Daphomir war had officially begun. The Bigtopians were caught completely by surprise, as they never thought that Daphomir actually would attack them. An even larger Bigtopian force confronted the Daphomirian army, but their tanks and rifles were completely outdated (the "newest" of equipment resembled stuff from the 1950s), whereas the Daphomirian attackers utilized the latest modern military technology, which tore the Bigtopian forces to shreds.

To add insult to injury, The Fatherland of Dueschland also declared war on Bigtopia, bringing in 4000 soldiers, 100 tanks, and 900 aircraft, which resulted in a completely one-sided two front war. In just 28 hours, Bigtopia's capital was captured by Daphomirian and Dueschlandian forces, and the nation surrendered. After the peace treaty was signed, Bigtopia was completely partitioned between Daphomir and The Fatherland of Dueschland, with Daphomir annexing all the Bigtopian parts of the Flumen River, along with the whole upper half of the country, and The Fatherland of Dueschland annexing the lower half of Bigtopia. It is still unknown what happened to the Bigtopian president, but it is said that Leader personally slapped the Bigtopian president square in the face before exiling him to an unknown area in the Rejected Realms.

The dam incident wasn't the only reason why Daphomir invaded Bigtopia in the first place. In fact, Leader had been considering the possibility of this for years. When he took office, the Bigtopians had already disrupted Daphomirian operations and business many times before, from countless illegal border crossings, to Bigtopian ships constantly violating Daphomirian waters, to Bigtopian gunboats running rings around Daphomirian cargo vessels. Bigtopia was a thorn in the side of Daphomir, but also The Fatherland of Dueschland, for similar reasons.

In the war, Bigtopia suffered a shocking 98,000 KIA, and 128,000 wounded. Daphomir only suffered 1,200 KIA and 300 wounded, and Dueschland took a similar amount of casualties. The Bigtopia-Daphomir war was completely one sided, and many Bigtopians living in Daphomir still live in disbelief about their military's horrible preformance against the Grand Daphomirian Army.

The specter of fascist terrorism returns to the western oblasts of the Ukrainian SSR. The days of the Great Patriotic War

are far behind us, but no Soviet citizen has ever forgotten the sacrifice made by our grandfathers and grandmothers.

However it seems that the memory is not cherished by some, Ukrainian nationalists and Fascist sympathizers in the

areas of Lvov being some of the most guilty. Groups such as the 'Right Sector' and 'Azov Battalion' have seen a great

surge in numbers since Russian-Ukrainian ethnic tension in 2014. Since the introduction of a multi-party system into

several SSR governments, right wing parties like LDPU; a separatist branch of the greater LDPSU, have seen large

support in the Ukrainian SSR much to the displeasure of ethnic-Russian civilians in the SSR. A violent insurgency

saw a smaller scale resurgence at the time in 2014, but only gained any larger scale momentum at the beginning of

this year. Soviet forces have been combatting the Ukrainian Insurgent Army at the beginning of 2022, with the worst

of the fighting now seeing it's peak. According to eye witness accounts given to Pravda, the trench warfare has

become stagnant as had mirrored the front against the Austrians during the Great War. With many of the events now

mirroring 1916 and even 1947, it's unknown how the insurgency will end if in the worst case scenario an outside

power gives the insurgents their blessing.

Anyways, in other news, the international holding company and conglomerate Rakshasa Group has announced its acquisition of the energy company ‘Daevoil’, further diversifying its already multi billion NSD portfolio. According to current estimates, it is possible Rakshasa Group CEO and Royal Family member Shahzadeh Rakshasa Chakravarti may reach half a trillion dollars within 5 years, much to the young royals delight. The company also announced recently that it has something big in the works, stating only that ‘if successful, it shall help foster international cooperation and revamp the Daevan economy to new heights’

By the time the torpedoes were detected, the crewmen knew that there was nothing they could do. An abandon ship order was given, and everyone rushed to rigid inflatable boats or other life rafts, sending out distress calls in desperation. As the escape boats sailed away, the destroyer was vaporized in a grand explosion, shaking the seas and lighting the skies.

The helicopter now basically had a field day targeting the other submarines, as they all launched torpedoes while close to the surface. From the chopper flew out its remaining four Sting Ray torpedoes towards the submarines, the projectiles diving into the icy water of the North Sea and all heading for their targets

The submarine that was submerged deeper in the water violently exploded as it was hit by the impact, sinking rapidly towards the seabed where it landed with a *CLANG* noise. Meanwhile, the other sub tried to evade the attack, rising to the surface in an attempt to minimise damage and sending out a distress signal to BA’s high command, but soon being slammed by the second torpedo and exploding in an instant. Pieces of debris, twisted metal, shattered concrete and glass shards hung on the surface of the water, floating about whilst the rest of the craft sank.

As for the distress call issued by the destroyed sub, the message was hastily received by the government, and once the news became clear to them, it was safe to say - they were fuming.

By week 4, most had actively considered self harm and violence.

“We hear the Gestachians tired condemnation. It has been noted and sent to the complaints department.” He takes an immaculate piece of paper, crumples it up, and tosses it into a nearby waste paper basket. “Such accusations are nothing new, as the Gestachians are socialists. Who, may I remind the populace, think wages and corporations are imperialist. Cornerstones of everyday life, demonized by maniacs. So, we take this condemnation with pride. Gestachian Red Navy Spotted of Boldonian Waters

Reports from civilian cargo vessels have confirmed the presence of naval vessels of the Gestachian Red Navy within the Boldonian EEZ. The threat of the Red Navy warships from the Gestachian Minister of External, Foreign, and International Affairs has turned out to in fact not just be a scare tactic. With the embargo on Gestachia having been made permanent in congress the Independent Republic of Boldonia Coast Guard (IRBCG) has been made responsible for ensuring compliance with these regulations. The IRBCG has stated they are tracking the Gestachian fleet and has declared a 20 mile wide exclusion zone around the Gestachian fleet, which moves with the fleet. No civilian vessels or aircraft, except for those from Gestachia, are to pass within this exclusion zone. The Coast Guard has also declared a 5 mile exclusion zone around any Gestachian flagged vessel, civilian or military, which similarly no civilian ships or aircraft are to cross into.

Violations of these exclusion zones can be punished severely. Any ship caught within these exclusion zones can have all its crew detained and its captain arrested, any aircraft caught within these exclusion zones can have its crew arrested as well. Violations of these exclusion zones are unlikely to come accidentally, the IRBCG will constantly be updating navigation systems with real time locations of the exclusion zones. Although it has not been stated it is assumed that harsher punishments are in store for anyone who collaborates with Gestachian vessels or aircraft to ensure the embargo and exclusion zones are obeyed. The IRBCG has also stated that civilian ships should ignore distress calls from Gestachian flagged vessels due to the increased tension, only the Independent Republic of Boldonia Coast Guard, Independent Republic of Boldonia Naval Forces, or Brasilistani Navy are to respond.

The Coast Guard and Naval Forces have both assured that Boldonia is ready if the Gestachian warships try anything. The vessels are under constant surveillance while they are within and close to the Boldonian EEZ, and the Naval Forces and Coast Guard will have vessels prepared to defend against any attack. The Air Forces has also stated they have multiple aircraft ready in case of attack, and the Ground Forces have stated they will move their reservists around as a precaution. The Independent Republic of Boldonia Military Forces is sending a strong message to the Gestachians to back off. Boldonia does not want war but that doesn't mean it's unprepared to fight one. With looming war between the GSC and CSL, with both Gestachia and Boldonia claiming support against the GSC, a three way war would be suboptimal at this time.

The Coast Guard does set up somewhat of a barrier around the Gestachian fleet. 4-5 Coast Guard cutters sail on the boundaries of the exclusion zones to ward off any civilian ships or aircraft from approaching. IRBS Antietam (SA-2), a Los Angeles-Class Submarine, also is present and ghosts the Gestachian warships from a far deep underwater to avoid detection. IRBS Antietam is ready at any second to launch torpedoes at the Gestachian fleet, but it is hoped that eventually the Gestachian fleet will get tired of staying in Boldonian waters and just leave. The Boldonians are not looking to fight a war, but they are ready for one.

The chorus of the anthem blared from the loudspeakers as President Clarkson, along with the other government officials, began to ascend the staircase onto the enormous stone podium, each of them carrying a wreath of black roses with gold chrysanthemums woven into it. The president - dressed in her usual black gown with a fur shawl around her neck - commenced the service as she lay her wreath down at the memorial, bowing for a few moments before being swiftly followed by the other officials, the order of the ceremony precise and mechanical. After the anthem had drawn to a halt, silence settled upon the square, as President Clarkson tapped her microphone and began to speak, looking down at the crowd from her podium. “Everybody. Today we come together to remember and celebrate the lives of these brave, talented and dedicated young men and women whose sacrifices not long ago will never be forgotten. Even though it is not usually tradition in the military, I feel compelled to share with you all what cruel, despicable and downright evil act brought these young sailors’ lives to a close.”

She paused, allowing the sheer weight of her words to settle on the crowd, some of whom murmured although most remained silent, whilst nodding their heads in acknowledgement. Finally, Clarkson spoke. “These innocent people were murdered in cold blood on a submarine mission not long ago. Protecting our waters, they sacrificed themselves to defend you and your families, but this never should have happened in the first place. The perpetrators of this crime? None other than.. the Grand Economic Consortium!”

The silence shattered, as yells of anger and despair rang out from the crowd, Clarkson observing it quietly as she ran her tongue over her teeth. “We won’t let this stand. We simply won’t. Effective immediately, all Consortian imports are banned and all exports to TGEC halted as well. On top of this, all Consortian citizens living in BA will be legally required to leave the nation by next week lest they face punishment or imprisonment of up to 10 years. Germany stands in solidarity to the BA, all Consortian shipping banned from the Kiel channel!!

In a show of strengh and public unity, following the terror attack which the Grand Consortium innittiated on the British Arz, Germany comes forward to condemn the act and classifying the Consortium as a international sponsor of terrorism. Germany was not just letting the Consortium of the hock that easily, as it began an extensive campaign of hybrid warfare against the state, focusing on disrupting its economy and civil security. At first Peoples National Cyberforces DDOS commandos began wide spread DDOS attacks, focusing on many smaller online shops which could afford less protection, while diversionary DDOS strikes had been launched against bigger online shops, to move the attention of cyber security providers away from the main attack.

But the strategy expanded into reality. Peoples National Armymen began to internationally contact black market salesmen, looking to build up an informations network of traders which would then be used to flood the Consortian black market with cheap Soviet era AK type rifles as well as some Chinese copies. While at the same time, German traders logged into Consortian private sales sites (Ebay like things), and pose as scammers pretending to be selling things, while actually just trying to scam Consortians out of their money.

Our team of analysts has fact checked this and the information stated is indeed, veritable. In another paragraph, he responds to the statement made by Germany, saying that "The closure of the Kiel Canal is unjustified and another example of GSC-backed terrorism. The Grand Economic Consortium is a bulwark of liberty, a glimmer of hope in a world of tyrrany. We will not extinguish. The packet filter firewalls easily detected and booted the DDOS packages out of the systems of large stores, while, for a little piece of time, smaller stores were affected. Blacklight ELINT started to intervene, attempting to create a nation-wide network which could trace back packages to Germany and filter them out, booting them out of the networks of smaller shops. The cyberattacks impacted startups for a few days, but nothing too major.

Yet, what happened on the black market was way worse. The cheap armament was quickly acquired by rebel groups, but, due to the large influx of traffic, the IPs of the traders began trying to be tracked, with limited success at the moment.

In response, Blacklight ELINT decided to launch a counter-attack on both Germany and BA. As they were both communist nations, their economies relied on each factory recieving orders from economic planners to make exactly what was needed. Disrupt the chain of command and orders, and their production lines fall apart. Thus, using WireGuard protocols to mask their IPs, SQL injections were sent into the networks of German factories, the IPs of which would be easy to track due to the likely large influx of orders, and the programs began inserting false production orders into both German and Arzelent factories, attempting to disrupt their production lines.

The Gabeonian Ministry of Intelligence began digital warfare against British Arzelentaxmacone and The United Socialists of Germany. The MoI operates independently and the wider government is unaware of their doings.

MoI cybersecurity experts and sponsored hackers have started using proxies outside Gabeonia to hide their IPs. They scan all known BA and Socialist Germany IPs for open ports and known vulnerabilities. When they find them they record their findings for future use.

Many smaller businesses and websites that didn't have much security were quickly found and recorded. A few larger websites were found with vulnerabilities.

So far no action has been taken on the sites but the information will be useful to the MoI.

The Shrewsbury Motor Company recently announced in a limited press release that they have collaborated with the Special Armed Forces to produce a modern MBT for the Special Armed Forces. The Shrewsbury Motor Company is the newest competitor in the market, known for their smaller vehicle projects focused on speed and technology. However, their newest design. According to them, has been a recent combination of their ideals into a large armoured platform capable of assisting the SAF in their current armoured tank issue.

LFPD Sovereign had been suffering from this issue since it’s inception. Any ‘tanks’ that were produced were more of the stripe of APC’s and IFV’s rather than Tanks. Their designs were light and small, smaller than most modern tanks. Making them, while indeed technologically advanced - terrible for tank to tank combat. Shrewsbury has reportedly solved this problem, with the SAF-Moderner Fahrzeugjäger now soon to be in production following it’s alleged successful testing by the SAF.

Rumours have surfaced about propulsion technology capable of allowing the barrel to be reduced without impacting the trajectory of the shell, and some whistleblowers have now said that there may be an ‘advanced auto-targeting AI’ onboard that can be switched on manually and from the tank-commanders bodysuit controls. While these aren’t true, they are likely given the nature of Shrewsbury’s first impressions and LFPD Sovereign history of high-technology solutions.

More Secret Subs? IRBNF Grows Submarine Fleet as Another Submarines Appear at Eastisle

Ever since Boldonia's two Los Angeles-Class Submarines, IRBS Gettysburg and IRBS Antietam, appeared in Eastisle Naval Base in February unannounced, many Boldonians wondered how many more American submarines had been built for the Boldonians. Now it appears that answer is at least three, as yet another submarine docks at Eastisle Naval Base. The Independent Republic of Boldonia Naval Forces (IRBNF) has made public the Los Angeles-Class Submarine IRBS Shiloh. The sudden rearmament of the IRBNF has many curious as to what's next for the Naval Forces, if three submarines could slip through public knowledge then what else could be in store for the IRBNF? It is known now that the construction of the submarines wasn't exactly a secret, two submarines were laid down in Newport News in late-mid 2023 and another two later. While the first two are confirmed to be IRBS Gettysburg and IRBS Antietam, and one of the other two is likely to have been IRBS Shiloh, it is unknown where the mysterious fourth submarine has went.

It seems for now though there aren't any more mystery submarines being built in American shipyards, but that doesn't mean the IRBNF still isn't building up its fleet. A leaked document shows that the IRBNF is working on a so called "Project N002" although information was scrubed before more details could be revealed. There are also the less than secret endeavors, two Cyclone-Class Patrol Boats were laid down on March 6 at the Eastisle Naval Shipyards and the shipyard has announced Boldonian citizens and nationals will get to vote on their names at some point in April, the category for naming still remains US cities apparently. However none of these projects as of yet seem to be bigger than a cruiser, and it may seem the IRBNF may be starting to adopt a strategy similar to the Ground Forces, one of quick and cheap production over high quality. However predictions have been wrong concerning the Boldonian military, many said that the IRBNF would never have the capability to operate its own submarines, and they were clearly proven wrong.

Luxembourg intervenes as peacekeepers

Luxembourg seeing the IUE and what they have been doing has went to Iraq and has sent 35k troops as peacekeepers.they are their to deescalate the situation and end it.as Luxembourgish peacekeepers arrive on the small shore of Iraq they set up bases as a CSL peace keeping force.tho if the IUE opens fire on these Luxembourgish peace keeps this will lead to war or occupation of their territory .as they set up camps tanks and such roll in through a town as leopard 2A8s roll in with puma IFVs .remember this is a peaceful force not a invasion. It had been only a handful of days since the IUE began their armed resistance, and little had changed, barring a flight of foreign aircraft over their territory. The Islamic Union had to make it firm that they would not tolerate foreign boots trampling their land as they had many times before, as such, the IUE would do what they deemed necessary.

"Ziyaad, Luxembourg has deployed peac-" Naazim was unable to finish as Ziyaad interrupted him, "So, the West see it fit to trample over our land again?" Ziyaad asked, placing a crumpled map on the table, "They are nothing but clear imperialists, seeking to pillage Islamic lands again." He added, looking up to Naazim, "I must also add, they have supposedly entered the International Zone, I am unsure what they will do with the remnants of the Iraqi Government to the South. I fear that they will attempt to prop them back into power." He said, the sounds of artillery filling up the Baghdad night, they were further away than they were this morning, but still, men of the movement were dying, and they could not risk foreign agents tampering with purely Middle Eastern affairs. "Might I also add Ziyaad, forces have armed themselves and are requesting permission to continue the armed struggle, if they can cut the head off the Kurdish serpent, then we can spare more of our men in handling Syria." Ziyaad rubbed his forehead, grabbing a knife from the defiled desk of what was once the Iraqi president. "The Armed Struggle can not stop. We shall televise a response to this violation of our rightful rule." Naazim nodded, leaving the room to alert the technicians to prepare.

The camera would zoom in on Ziyaad's face, the lighting around him fading out.
