October 5th An oddly familiar scene takes place in Raven Rock. President Eden is finishing a meeting discussing further trade deals with extraterrestrials and heading out to his motorcade to be brought back home. The skies are clear, the fall air is cool and crisp, its all in all a nice day outside. He gets into his motorcade and as it drive towards his house the ground begins to gently rumble. The last time something like this happened a portal to another dimension opened up for a brief time, unfortunately that portal has since closed. Now though another portal may be opening. Sure enough as the Presidents motorcade passes another unattended construction site a tear in reality is visible. President Eden has his motorcade stop, and having done something like this before procures a pop up shelter, a cooler full of drinks, some lawn chairs, and a music player before crossing to the other side with his security detail. Where he'll be on the other side is unknown to him, but once he's there he'll simply set up and wait for someone important to show up, worked last time right.

The afternoon today is a nice day! Rika thought so. The sun is shining bright, but is is not a searing heat as autumn is already in full swing in the winds of Sibir. The days have become cooler now, but the sun is still emitting a cheerful glow in late dusk. The sky today is azure blue, going harmoniously with the orange near-sunset, along with the orange trees that have begun shedding and falling their orange leaves.

In a nondescript park in the city of Schioriyanba, albeit the park is not so gloomy and sad for it is still spacious and big with green fields, Rika and her "friend" sits in a wooden bench with metal rails in the park's middle. Rika is sitting, listening to this song, and the harmony of the tune fits in perfectly with the situation - the green park, the orange dusk and the sight of her beautiful friend sitting in the bench with her. Her friend is eating an ice cream, what the "cocoa" and the "sugar" is is uncertain given the cocoa and the sugar shortage in Feyrisshire brought by external embargoes, but nonetheless it tastes sweet, or at least acceptable. Rika gently sways her long blue hair that gently moves with the passing breeze, and her blue cat girl ears and cat girl tails move. She is wearing a white t-shirt with a brown cute blob printed in it, and a gray jacket, and a short green checkered skirt, and her "friend" Aelrie's hair is blonde, with blonde twin tails and is wearing a white sundress with ribbons and frills.

Suddenly, a blue portal appeared in the middle of nowhere - in the middle of the park actually, and whilst Rika and Aelrie still had little time to react, a black limousine appeared in the middle of the portal and drove in the middle of the grass. The limousine seemed to go nowhere, lacking direction as there are no roads near that area. In its back, few more cars followed it, but like lemmings they followed the limousine ahead of them and drove in the grass. Rika and Aelrie reacted with a mixture of schadenfreude and amusement as the black limousines and cars following it drove in the grass slowly but making the bottoms of their cars brown with tire tracks. Shortly thereafter, one white man had the courage to exit the limo and actually ask anyone for directions.

What was immediately obvious to President Eden as his motorcade came through the portal was that he was in the middle of what seemed to be a well maintained public park, and as such the grass below him was probably getting horribly torn up below his motorcades tires. He was definitely going to have to apologize to whatever groundskeeper was responsible for maintaining this place later on. Still it's not like the car could just stop, the rest of the motorcade as following behind his car and there would definitely be a crash if he just stopped unexpectedly, so he told his driver to just drive in circles until the rest of the cars were out.

Eventually the full motorcade as out of the portal and had come to a stop giving President Eden an opportunity to fully take in his surroundings. Firstly the grass in the area was definitely destroyed, Eden really did feel bad about that whatever probably underappreciated municipal worker that maintained this place definitely didn't deserve this. Secondly There did at luckily seem to be people around, and even luckier they don't seem to be freaking out, actually they just seem rather bemused at the whole situation. Thirdly those people are cat girls, which means this side of the portal has cat girls too!

The Two people that he could see seemed to be a pair out for ice cream together, and while he doubted they'd be at all helpful in getting into contact with the upper echelons of the government of wherever the heck this place was he had to start somewhere. So getting out of his car and adjusting his suit President Eden made his way over to the pair and hoped to god they spoke English.

"Hello there, sorry to interrupt you two, but as you can see I kind of just came out of a portal. Could either of you two be so kind as to tell me where I happen to be, specifically the nation and city, oh also what year it happens to be here."

The two catgirls just stared blankly at the white man wearing a tuxedo, their stares obviously showing off a mixture of confusion and suspicion. The two girls answered nothing to the man, and with blank stares slowly left without answering anything to the asker.

A catgirl was in the park at the same time that the motorcade came out from the portal and damaged all the grass in a certain area from its tires and the bottoms of its engines. The catgirl has long brown hair, brown cat girl ears, a green hat and is wearing a green shirt with square pockets in it - her dress seemingly like a cross between a Mao suit, a janitor's uniform and a park ranger's attire. The catgirl is sweeping the grass's orange autumn leaves with a hard broomstick, like a Shinto shrine maiden. When she saw the motorcade ruin the verdant grass, her expression suddenly became that of anger and she stared at them with a mad facial expression.

She slowly dashed towards the motorcade, gestured out to the grass with a mad and irritated face, and angrily said "Nyan, nyan, nyan!" with no words or sentences uttered. Her gestures and body language all suggest that someone would have to pay or take responsibility for the damage accrued.

As the two people he was hoping to get some answers from slowly walked away President Eden was disappointed, but understanding. He'd be pretty suspicious of some strange guy coming up to talk to you after coming out of a portal too. With a sigh he turned back towards the park and noticed the cat girl who is obviously the rightfully irate groundskeeper yelling at his motorcade. Making his way over he heard her yelling "nyan" over and over. Oh no that may not be good, if they speak with meowing sounds on this side of the portal the language barrier may be a pretty high one. hopefully they at least understood English or some other language.

Making his way up to the groundskeeper he bows his head and begins to apologize. "you're obviously the groundskeeper here, I'm sorry about this mess I didn't expect the portal to spit us out in the middle of a public park. I'd offer to pay for the damages right now, but I'm probably not carrying any currency you'd accept, if your economy even uses currency that is. I'd be more than happy to send some of my men to help clean up later on though, as soon as we an get the cars out of the park that is. In the meantime i can offer you some refreshments you don't deserve to be dealing with this right now. Also I hate to ask given the circumstances but could you tell us where we are, like the country and city, and what year it is. We're kind of from another dimension, and I'm trying to establish some sort of baseline understanding before trying to get into contact with your government."

[Feyrisshire]

The "catgirl park cleaner" continued to speak in "Nyan, nyan, nyan" after Eden's speech and continued her pointing gesture. The pointing gesture of hers was strange to say the least, as her finger was pointed down pointing towards to Eden, despite there nothing to point to down and Eden being obviously in the front of her. Anyways, she continued to be mad and angry, judging from her body language and facial gestures, and seemed to understand nothing of Eden's response. She just became silent, and walked away from Eden leaving Eden and his motorcade with no companions in the park.

The "janitor catgirl" then walked away far, and rode up her motorcycle, and went away to somewhere else.

Unbeknownst to Eden and the entourage, the catgirl went back at her office in the log cabin, and spoke to Kirara, the head warden of the park, who has long brown hair, wearing a flower crown while donning the same janitorial suit that Mirina, the catgirl "janitress" earlier also wears. She reported that she saw something suspicious in the park earlier.

"A blue and glowing magical portal just opened and boom!" Mirina gestured with a boom explosion gesture.

Kirara had none of this nonsense, superstition and magic no longer exists in the Communist era of Feyrisshire, despite the widespread and known reverence the girls of this land accord to the "Ryeifin Ranscheidreyu" - the "Faerie Goddesses" of old.

Then Mirina added "And a bunch of White men, Russian, American probably came in with a large motorcade, with lots of limousines and cars. They were suspicious, they looked like CIA Agents, imperialists, even! And they were wearing a white tuxedo and a sunglasses!".

Kirara then began to pay attention, and suspicious, as in seriously suspicious, and no more dismissively suspicious.

She responded "That is a waste of fuel for sure, considering the war against the fascists in Ukraine. How many is the motorcade?".

"About 10, 20, a very large convoy! The White men berated me and spoke in English, I am sure, and were even mad at me even though they were the one who ruined all of the grass and soiled the dirt with the tires and the bottoms of the engines of their limousine! Now they ruined the park!".

Kirara can only answer "This is pretty suspicious, indeed!".

President Eden sighed again, it was becoming abundantly clear that the language barrier was a large one here. He watched the worker ride off on a motorcycle then turned to his motorcade. "alright everyone I want my security detail to stay here with only their pistols and the refreshments, the rest of you go back to our side of the portal. Also grab me a few workers from Raven Rock parks and rec, maybe they can help with some initial clean up"

A few people got out of the cars along with the pop up shelter, drink cooler and lawn chairs, they all wore black suits with red ties and left the full sized rifles they normally carry in the cars. The cars then slowly pulled back into the portal, the area was already destroyed so it's not like they'd do any more harm. As the cars made their way out a few members of President Edens security made their way to him, one of them Mary Fifer was a neko girl, she had dark skin and black hair inherited from her father, as well as blue eyes the full catgirl features from her mother. She was tall at 6'2" and strode quickly and confidently her tail swishing behind he as she walked.

"I take it first impressions aren't going well are they? " she says with a smirk.

"No, not so far" President Eden says with a tone of disappointment", "but they're not shooting at us, so I suppose it could be going worse"

"yeah id hate to have to open fire on anyone, the paperwork I have to do every time I fire a shot in your defense is obscene"

"That really shouldn't be the reason you're opposed to shooting at people, but whatever. Get together with the rest of the detail and start setting up, also have Claire come over here I need her linguistic skills"

Claire McElroy was also a neko girl she was pale, freckled and ginger due to both her mother and father hailing from the Irish isle of Brittania. The tips of her ears only came up to Mary's shoulders as they walked past each other.

"what do you need Mr. president" she said her Irish accent thick

"I need you to write a note in English, Spanish, French, Italian, German, Latin, Arabic, Sanskrit, Chinese, Japanese, and Korean."

"that's a lot of languages Mr. President"

"why do you think I asked you to do it"

and so the note was written in all the languages saying "Hello, I am President John Henry Eden of Catsfern. First I would like to apologies for the mess my motorcade caused, we didn't expect to pop out in the middle of a public park, We'll be more than happy to compensate finances, material, and labor to clean up our mess. Secondly I want to address what Catsfern is. Catsfern is a nation that likely does not exist, at least not in this reality. You see Catsfern is the nation that is on the other side of this portal. Thirdly As far as the portal itself is concerned no we did not create this on purpose, portals like this are a natural phenomime caused by an overly raped expansion of the universe causing a tear in the fabric of reality. We from the other side of this portal are here with peaceful intentions and would like to speak with some members of government or other authority to initiate first contact diplomatic procedures".

With the note done in all the languages and copied several times the Catsfernians set about waiting for someone to come by to hopefully pass it along to.

[Feyrisshire]

It was in the small, homely and cozy town of Aensdaro that time, "fyeishyi" as they say in the Feyris language, which means "cozy, homely and warm". The town was dotted by a dash of wooden huts, dry stone wall cottages, more modern homes and 1950s-1960s era gray or wooden apartments constructed by Comrade General Secretary Tulip Pie Azure's regime. Lots of catgirls were sweeping in the streets!

A blue-haired catgirl and a girl with blonde twin tails were holding hands together and came into the scenery. Yurika, a tall girl with long brown hair who was wearing a white sundress, also works in the Ryeifinist temple as a "faerie acolyte", she was sweeping the streetside in front of the small Ryeifinist chapel with a hard broomstick, sweeping it with leaves and other dirt. Rika and Aelrie talked to Yurika. Rika said "We had encountered strange and weird White men in the park near Schioriyanba earlier this day. The men came from a strange blue portal and brought lots of cars with them! They had too much fuel! And it seemed that they looked like American or Russian imperialists!".

Yurika was interested and curious about this, obviously, but warned Rika not to spread "fake news", and that tidbit about a "strange blue portal" is simply too doubtful to be true. The government has been cracking down towards those who spread "fake news" lately, she said, and "friendly" faerie girls and catgirls with funny blue hats from the HNS (Hall of National Security) might come knocking on your door if you are too loud in spreading "fake news".

Suddenly, a radio announcement was said in one of the loud radio speakers in the nearby homes, in a high-pitched anime girl voice: "All residents - catgirl and faerie! Does anyone here report of an incident of imperialists or bourgousie near Shiyara Grove in Schioriyanba? Eyewitnesses and sources gathered earlier and reported to the Urban Staff of Schioriyanba report of a strange and suspicious incident of unknown individuals in the grove, of suspected bourgouisie elements of an unknown disposition! Comrades are encouraged to report all suspicious individuals and activities that they come across, as always!".

Suddenly Yurika looked towards Rika and what Rika said seemed to not be that suspicious anymore, aside from the "strange blue portal" of course, which the authorities have yet to report.

Three members of the Rural National Staff - Belle, Aenschein (her first name and her surname), and Cherise are called to report towards a "strange activity" in Shiyara Grove. Belle is a girl with blonde twin tails! Aenschein, meanwhile has long straight hair cut in a hime cut. Cherise has long brown hair wearing a flower crown and she has cat girl ears!

All of them are members of the Rural National Staff, which is itself a branch of the National Staff of Feyrisshire. Feyrisshire's police is different from other countries - it is divided into two branches - The Seybenhann, and the National Staff. The Seybenhann is concerned more with traditional law enforcement and police activities and is a national institution, while the National Staff is more local and is an umbrella group dedicated to emergency, patrol, firefighting and other activities in local areas normally relegated to other institutions elsewhere, such as firefighting and emergency ambulances. The National Staff is itself divided into two, which is the Rural National Staff and the Urban National Staff.

Belle, Aenschein and Cherise quickly donned their green uniforms which are similar to park rangers - the famed uniform of the Rural National Staff, with armbands on them that looked like a Japanese Student Council member's armband and a funny green sheriff hat on top. They then entered a green-colored car, a car owned by the Rural National Staff - a "police vehicle" in this case, with Aenschein the driver.

But the incident that they were reported to was very suspicious. Higher-ups have tasked them on reporting to a "strange incident" in Shiyara Grove, which they reported to was composed of a motley large group of individuals, presumably Russian or American, White men, in a large motorcade.

Aenschein quipped with her high-pitched voice "Could it be CIA?".

Belle answered "Rossiya?"

"Rossiya had no reason to do such thing, with the war against the fascists and NATO" Aenschein muttered.

Then they worried the possibility that the men might be armed, or be composed of "lumpenproletarian" elements i.e "Criminals" in non-Marxist, non-Communist speak.

"Lumpen... Rumpen proletariat? The word is hard to pronounce!" Belle said.

"It means criminal. Gangsta!" Aenschein confidently answered, despite it being technically untrue in Marxist theory.

Both of them are exchanging with their high-pitched voices, while Cherise was just silent and just viewed the scenery in the window car by herself.

This is a very suspicious occasion indeed, normally, large incidents like this are to be reported to the Seybenhann immediately, and not dispatched to the Rural National Staff, which is just concerned with minor matters they say, like helping a cat go down a tree, or helping an old woman cross the road. Belle noted that they are lightly armed, with her having only an old Makarov pistol, Aenschein with an antiquated Nagant M1895 revolver that has long passed the passage of time, and Cherise with an obsidian nightstick.

She made a plan, they would only go to check the "suspicious incident" of whatever "bourgouisie" or "lumpenproletariat" elements are there, and if the "class enemies" are too many, they would just go away and report it both to the Rural National Staff and the Seybenhann. Belle reasoned out that the Seybenhann is already out there, and they are just dispatched, probably with other Rural National Staff girls tailing them, to confirm the incident.

Meanwhile in the grove President Eden had set up the pop up shelter and was waiting under it with a small radio set, a cooler of drinks and the rest of his security detail, mostly making small talk as one of them flicked between frequencies on the radio trying to find something to listen to. Their radio happened to pick up the announcement as well.

"That sounded like somesourt of announcement, any idea what language that was Claire?" asked the president

"I don't know sir, isn't any one I've ever heard before, has a lot of similarities to a lot of other languages too so I'm not sure if there are any I know it could be derived from, hopefully we at least have one language in common here"

"yes communication is important, but hopefully if we don't act hostile towards them they won't towards us and we can establish some sort of decorum despite any language barrier."

A little while later Mary Fifer had been sent to do a perimeter check of the area.

"sir we got a vehicle heading towards us" she calls out to the president

"military or civilian?"

"no idea, too far away to tell"

as the car gets closer Mary can make out more detail.

"definitely not military, no weapons and no armor, though I'm noticing some decals on it, maybe some sort of civil service vehicle?"

"well its a start to getting to their government if that's the case. Alright everyone keep weapons visible but holstered. we don't want to antagonize them but we should be ready to defend ourselves if things go south. Mary, Claire you're with me If we run into more cat girls you two should help smooth things over"

The three made their wat to the edge of the park to wait for the oncoming vehicle, a few copy of the notes ready to go. their suit smoothed out and adjusted proper and their pistols visible in their holsters at their hips.

President Eden and his entourage also heard a lot more stuff when they flickered on the radio. They also heard a lot of pop music as well. They heard this song!

And when they heard the announcement, they heard the words go this in a high-pitched voice: "Ridow byishyi - nyanchi byishi tow ryeifin, jaoshon arae shyuffymeizha araeheiden jaoshonsei fyishyi Shiyara Yurihor en Shiyoriyanba sae nyan ya.

The car with "decals" on it that looks like a "civil service vehicle" kept closer to the crew. Cherise rolled down the car windows and gestured out to Mary Fifer, the car was about 10 meters away from her, enough for them both to have a close look at them but too far away to speak properly. Cherise gestured out some hand gestures towards her, and shouted to her "Amerikanski? Rossiya? Daiyohanen? Nyanshi byishyi, fyishi ya!"

President Eden turned to look at mary, "looks like they want to talk to you, hand me your pistol and aproch slowly with the note Claire wrote out"

Mary sighs as she slides her pistol out of its holster being careful to make a show of her keeping her finger off the trigger and making sure not to flag the other cat girls. "why do I have to be the one to do this you know talking aint my thing"

"well hopefully with the note you wont have to do much of that, now get going"

Mary now disarmed takes a copy of the multi ligual note and slowly aproches the car hands raised. holding it out to Cherise.

[Feyrisshire]

Mary Fifer slowly approaches the Rural Staff girls' car with her hands raised. All of the Rural Staff girls in the car seemed to stare towards her, what is going on in their minds are unknown. Suddenly, the car door forcefully opened in the back door. It can be clearly seen that Cherise was the only one sitting in the back, so another person or even two more persons can fit in the back of the car with her.

Mary Fifer is now near the car and the opened car door, looking face to face with Cherise. Cherise seemed to also look at her in the face, with direct eye contact. Suddenly. Cherise forcefully pulled and seemingly grabbed Mary Fifer by her hand, and her arm towards the inside of the back of the car to ride in the back with her!

And with Mary Fifer now in the back, Aenschein locked the car doors. Aenschein and Belle seemed to think nothing of this situation, seeming to think of it as a completely normal event, and barely looked back to glimpse what is happening with Cherise and Mary! The car then moved away and seemed to start to steadily drive away from the park!

'well fuck" President eden and mary thought similtaniously

With President Eden
"Um w-what do we um do Mr President?" claire asked nervous after seeing her coworker and friend get kidnapped in front of her.

"what we do is hope for the best, they're cat girls too its possible they think shes one of them that got nabbed by us. Thats what I hope any way. If she gives them the note or finds some what to talk to them she should hopefully be alright."

"and if shes not"

"well we either manage to continue peacefullly and get some sort of oficial apology and reperations for her, or we start an interdimentional war, though id much rather not consider either of thouse courses of action until im absolutly sure it's needed."

claire sighs still nervous but somewhat reassured by her President "what do we do now then?"

"what weve been doing, wait and see what happens"
With Mary
"uuummmm hello there... I have this note i was supossed to give you" Mary says as she passes the note to Cherise. "its in a bunch of diffrent languages, but hopefully you know either english of spanisn because those are the only two I know claires the language expert not me"

Meanwhile in her head claires thoughts are a string of cureses and explatives curing president Eden for making her deliver the note, trying to figure out whats going on or what they want with her, and lamenting the fact she didnt take more language classes in school like claire did.

[Feyrisshire]

In the inside of the car, cheerful loud music that sounds fun~ plays which seems to so incongruent with the tension in the atmosphere. Or so, from Mary Fifer's side, that is. No one knows what goes on in the head of the Rural Staff girls and Cherise the catgirl.

Aenschein spoke to the walkie-talkie radio "One comrade seen in the park. Comrade successfully retrieved in vehicle after slowly approaching team and asking for rescue. Comrade seemed to have contact with the imperialist. Over."

The other voice, in a high-pitched girly voice distorted by a radio static-like sound answered on the other end of the radio "Ask comrade about the imperialist to confirm information. Over."

Aenschein answered back "There seemed to be other comrades in the park with the imperialists right now. Do not know what they are talking about. Imperialists to seem not act hostile on our other comrades. So far, no hostile actions from the imperialists. Over."

"Copy that. Continue observing the park to confirm information of the report. How many imperialists are there?"

"One White man spotted so far, but there seem to be more imperialists with vehicles. Over."

"Are they armed?"

"Likely yes."

"Go on to confirm Ryeisse-54. Over."

"Copy that."

However, because this conservation happened in the Feyris language, Mary Fifer could not understand any of these.

From Mary Fifer's point of view, this is what she heard: "Ichi dochi yurihor sae. Dochi kae soderun myashyi teifun reshin han yesow. Dochi heyang bischarn weisch. Rozhe."

The car then steadily drove in the path that surrounds the grove. The girls in the park. through the windows of their car while driving, saw the other members of President Eden's entourage seeing tents and makeshift shelters along with White men with pistols wearing tuxedos. They didn't saw Claire or President Eden because they were away from the main group from the time. Belle said "What a strange sight!".

Belle then reported what they saw in the radio "Large group of imperialists armed with pistols, with motor vehicles and making a camp in Shiyara Grove spotted. Too many to confront and contact with small group. Requesting backup."

Mary Fifer then handed out a note to Cherise saying "Ummm... hello there, I have this note I was supposed to give to you...". As Mary Fifer was speaking, Cherise opened the car window on the right side. She then picked up a homely tiny wooden box that seemed to be a container on the car seat, it has been lying there for a long time. Then she opened it up to pick one tobacco cigar! Then she smoked the cigar, smoking to the opened car window so the tobacco smoke won't spread in the inside of the car.

During this, Mary Fifer said to Cherise "But hopefully you know either English or Spanish because those are the only two I know. Claire's the language expert, not me." Its dubious if Cherise ever understood or heard what Mary was saying because she was busy smoking and cigar, and Belle and Aenschein was busy speaking in the radio.

Cherise then turned over to Mary and picked the note. After glimpsing at it at a very short time (shorter than 1 second), she laid it down on the car with seemingly no care whatsoever. She then gave Mary a headpat and said "Nyan!" and seemed to talk to Mary by way of "Nyan! Nyan! Nyan!~" while giving her lots of headpats while smiling cheerfully. She then gave her one Mentos mint candy!

The car then drove further and finally exited the vicinity of the grove. They drove up to the rural road, perhaps to go to Shioriyanba Rural Staff Headquarters, while Mary Fifer is still inside...

Win President Eden
"alright camp is fairly well set up now" President Eden sid with a slight sigh. "hopefully Mary's doing her part well"

President eden than turned to the rest of his enterage "alright I hate to admit it but if things go south here some heavier arms may be nessicary, I want the gun lockers in those cars opened up and stealthily as possible so no onee who may be watching gets the wrong idea."

At this instruction many of the card hid behind set up tents and shelters with men crawling into the back seats to open up hidden un stashes. Meanwhile president eden stepped into the largest tent which is at this point serving as a defacto command tent where Calire is waiting for him.

"well so far still no overtly hostile intentions, but we've still been uncusessful establishing communications. With any luck mary has had more sucess than us" President Eden than turned to a few other men in the tent. "we've got a printer set up in here now, print off some copies of that note and tape them to the sides of the cars, then park the cars around the camp like an old wagon circle"

the men quickly went out to tell the now emptied of gun cars to sicle up while leaving one behind to start printing notes.

With Mary
"Well if they're petting me hopefully that means they're friendly" Mary thought to herself as she ate the mint candy provided to her

"can I take a puff of tat cigar?" she asks out loud after a few moments reasoning that if they are friendly perhaps showing confidence and building a repor may be benificial. She also majes a smoking gesture while looking at the cigar to make sure her message came acorss clearly.

[Feyrisshire]

Cherise then looked confusingly at Mary when Mary picked and ate the mint candy she gave to her, despite the fact that she was the one who gave it in the first place. She then sees Mary making a smoking gesture. To her though, this line of hand gestures simply look strange to her, but despite Mary making hand gestures that would never be made by a Feyris catgirl, Cherise seems to not have gotten the note from this exchange. Cherise simply shrugs Mary's hand gestures away, and angrily said "Nyan!".

The Rural Staff car then drove away from the grove where President Eden and his team were set up and took the highway leading to Schioriyanba, at least "highway" in Feyris relative terms. Mary Fifer could obviously see that the road is not well-maintained like in other First World countries, as it is merely a long line of paved cement, or concrete, with no lines or markings on it.

The car then stopped at a point in the road, and at the front there could be seen lots of vehicles, some with Rural Staff markings and painted green similar to the three girls' car, and some are not. Some of the cars seem to be parked awkwardly just on the road with no regard at the motorists that could be using that section of the road behind them, which will seem to be a nuisance for this later motorists as they have to swerve to go to the other side of the road, which would then be blocked by motorists going in that direction... Some of the cars, motorcycles and trucks that Mary Fifer could see are parked on a dirt clearing near the road, which was surrounded by barley fields.

Overall, there are 3 cars, 1 truck, and 1 motorcycle.

Belle and Cherise went outside of the car to talk with the other girls and catgirls, also wearing similar uniforms to them at the parked vehicles. Aenschein stayed in the car, and locked the car doors after the two went out, she stayed in the car with Mary Fifer.

Mary Fifer could see Belle and Cherise talking with other girls and catgirls near the parked vehicles.

One girl who looked like a beautiful black-haired bishoujo with bangs hair talked to Belle "I thought that you will be accompanying us on the later incident. Why are you going to that direction and not to there? You should have stayed."

Cherise answered "There were too many imperialists and bourgouisie there, we requested for backup. We have to go to Schioriyanba to report to HQ and bring a comrade who was lost there in the way."

The girl answered "Cherise, you only wanted out because you want to go to your girlfriends and drink. If I reported you to the HQ you would be in much trouble."

Belle then interrupted this exchange "I think we are real tired right now and do not want to be backup. There are too many imperialists and bourgouisie in that grove and we were afraid we might have a hostile exchange. Luckily we encountered one catgirl comrade and rescued her. You should bring more backup."

The black-haired girl said "We will bring more backup. Faye and her friends are going to ride in a motorcycle. 18 people is enough. If you three come, it should be 21."

Cherise just shrugged off her head, saying no and walked silently back again to her car.

Suffice to say, Mary Fifer never understood any of this conversation as not only was she inside the car and she was several meters away from the girls talking, but all she could her is Aenschein's interruption. All she could see are mouth movements.

After that exchange, some of the girls went inside their vehicles again, and started their automobiles, steadily driving their vehicles towards what seemed to be in the direction of Shiyara Grove where President Eden and his entourage was camped in.

Mary Fifer saw this and saw that the girls seem to be armed with a mishmash of weaponry. Some girls are only armed seemingly with knives, sticks or night batons, while some are wielding Makarov pistols but one girl has a sawed-off shotgun and the other has an SKS carbine. It seems that these girls are still lightly-armed or under-equipped. Its either that their institution is not giving them adequate funding, or that they are lightly armed enough because they don't expect there much to be a violent confrontation or are merely lower-rank police forces.

The black-haired girl bishoujo then looked a short glimpse to Mary Fifer, the two of them having eye contact. Then she walked away and returned back to the truck.

Before Cherise and Belle returned to the car though, Aenschein just talked to Mary Fifer saying "Nyan!~ Nyan!~ Nyan!~" and patted her head.

With Mary
Well it seemed asking for a smoke didn't work out, Cherise seems awfully protective of that cigar. It may be a rare commodity here or some sort of stratus symbol within whatever organization she was part of.

As they continue down the road Mary thinks the portal must have popped up somewhere pretty rural, she's been in some Catsfernian Backwaters and the roads looked pretty similar. Coming up upon the rest of the vehicles Mary wonders if this is some sort of impromptu roadblock or if drivers ed around here is just really bad at teaching how to park. Coming to a stop Mary watches as Belle and Cherise get out to talk to some of the others watching the conversation unfold even if she can't understand it.

Just because she cant understand the language doesn't mean she cant understand that the black haired girl really isn't all to happy about whatever Cherise just told her. hopefully it's nothing too bad, or nothing that would make them quicker to open fire on her boss. as Cherise and Belle return to the car and the other vehicles drive off she sees how the other girls are equipped and notices the lackluster quality of armament.

"I hope they don't open fire with those, President Edens probably ordered his guys to grab the weapons out of the back seats by now, if they go in with knives pistols, and one shotgun and carbine they're not gonna do well" she thinks to herself before making eye contact with the black haired girl before she heads back to her own truck

then Mary gets pet and nyaned at again, which is reliving to know they're still friendly.

With President Eeen in the grove
Having recalled his security detail from the other side of the portal and fully armed them with their weapons from the weapon safes in their cars President Eden had 40 men and women guarding him, each with a full length Csr-2. By now the black bulletproof cars had ben circled around his camp like an old wagon circle and copies of the multilingual note had been taped to each one, some scouts had even gone ahead to tape copies to nearby trees. at this point they'd printed off so may copies of the note the printer they had ran out of paper. Hopefully someone would actually stop and try to read it.
