The Official “Re-Opening” of Insaanistan [IC]

[Insaanistan]

In the year 2022, Insaanistan’s President, Ābdul-Ghaffar Yusuf to remain isolated from the world for 16 years. The country operated completely on its own, refusing to interact with any outside nation at all. Now, President Mahamat Abdoulaye in in charge, and as it’s been about 16 years, he’s decided he wants to be the one to declare Insaanistan to have come out of its isolation. To mark the occasion, Abdoulaye is inviting diplomats from across the world to partake. The moment Insaanistan reopens in when international planes carrying foreign dignitaries will be allowed into Insaani airspace. From there, they will be flown to the capitol, Muslimbol, and they will partake in a celebration, be permitted to deliver a few words if they wish, and be in a photo op. Additionally, they will be hosted in the Presidential Palace.

"Alright, Mr. White, 30 seconds to showtime." Yell's the Limbo driver in the front of the car.
Chaim's calms his nerves by snapping and saying numbers. "1... 2... 3..." He gets out of the car with the prized, Pomegranate Soda. Normally, the company would supply him with normal pomegranate soda, however, Chaim's was very that this had to be special. He walks to the doors of presidential palace as the crowd cheers around him. He does his last hair check, straightening it out. Before the doors open.

[New Treyland]

Bedston, New Treyland
This was big.
Not only was a new nation opening up to the world, but the Principality's special Prince Plane hadn't been in service for a decade, and Prince Trey Keirans would be the one to board it. Not some diplomat or ambassador, the Prince of New Treyland himself. He walked up onto the plane, and sat in his private first-class section, and was ready to fly to Muslimbol.
"You ready, Your Highness?" said the pilot.
"Jim, we've been over this. You're my high school friend. You can just call me Trey."
"Okay, Trey."
And the plane was off to the Insaani capital.

Aursi was having a war, but they don't miss opportunities to greet new nations to the world. Nina Begum was being sent to Insaanistan. She would get on her plane and say, “Bismillah-ir-Rahman-ir-Rahim”

[Mosarat]

It’s the year 2038 on Earth and Gaia, 16 years have passed since the nation of Insaanistan closed itself off to the rest of Earth and the alternate world of Gaia. In the past 16 years our heroes have underwent great changes. The Sultan has lost his mother to old age in 2025. His son Gamal and Gamal’s wife Shahnaz have given him grandchildren. Farrah has married a man named Peter Ben Ezra. In The Jamesian Republic Scott Lewis has since finished his term and retired back home. Morrison Alton is the dean of The Jamesian University in Anastasia. Konrad Dekker has married and has worked his way up through the Coven. Now our heroes are re-emerging and will face new decisions and destinies.

Farhan Hashem, aged 74 sat sleeping with a history text book rested on his chest. He dozed off before they reached the warp. The warp had not been opened to Insaanistan since 2022 after the nation closed itself off. For the first time in nearly two decades Insaanistan would interact with the world. Things had changed greatly since then. The Sultana Mother is dead. She has been dead for 13 years she died peacefully of old age. Gamal and Shahnaz had twins two boys, Farhan and Yahya in 2024. Farrah married a long time school aged friend named Peter Ben Ezra. Farhan and Nevine had taken in Nura and helped her recover from the trauma of her childhood. It had been long and difficult process but the two became her surrogate parents. They even helped her when her babies were born. Nevine poked Farhan.
“Wake up.” Farhan’s eyes fluttered and then opened.
“Yes, I’m awake.” He replied.

“We will be landing soon.” She said.
“Allah, it’s been so long too long.” Farhan said.
“Indeed. But we are back.” Nevine replied.
“I have prepared a statement.” Farhan said.
“Good, I’m sure you have a lot to say.”
“I do.” Farhan said. “I wish to meet the new president.” He added.
“As do I.” Nevine replied.

The plane landed and The Sultan and Sultana were taken to the Presidential Palace.

While the Mosaratian Royals were being brought to the Presidential Palace, Chaim White, who was already there, was allowed to walk up on to the stage as the crowd cheered the end of isolation. Abdoulaye smiled and waved to the crowd as ululations and shouts filled the air. He glanced over and noticed White walking up to platform.

This man he thought knows how to act around cameras. He moved away from the podium in case White wanted to say anything to the people themselves, quite sure White wouldn’t miss the opportunity to do so.

While the Mosaratian Royals were being brought to the Presidential Palace, Chaim White, who was already there, was allowed to walk up on to the stage as the crowd cheered the end of isolation. Abdoulaye smiled and waved to the crowd as ululations and shouts filled the air. He glanced over and noticed White walking up to platform.

This man he thought knows how to act around cameras. He moved away from the podium in case White wanted to say anything to the people themselves, quite sure White wouldn’t miss the opportunity to do so.

The car that transported the two had a radio. Farhan knocked on the glass separating the driver and them. “Excuse me sir, can you turn on the radio?” Farhan asked the driver. “Of course.” The driver replied. He tuned the radio to listen to the ceremony.

[Laasmistan]

Isolationism was a doctrine that President Hadya Amrani did not understand. What use was it to cut off all contact to the outside world when there was a moral obligation to reach out to and aid those most in need? She knew that her own nation had a proud history of doing exactly that, making Insaanistan's decision an even more baffling one. Certainly the President could only feel rejoice at the nation's decision to re-open, knowing just how beneficial it would be to all involved. It had even made the woman all the more inclined to reach out to them to establish proper diplomatic relations. It was something they had been lacking for far too long.

The trip into the Insaanistani capital remained a relatively uneventful one. It was only upon landing that she began to feel everything she had been missing for those years. It immediately became evident that the atmosphere of the nation was familiar to her own. There was no question as to whether their alliance would be a strong one. They even shared a faith!

"Mrs. President, you should prepare." One of Hadya's advisors reminded her as she found herself situated within the Presidential Palace. It was there that guests would be expected to present themselves, and make statements if they so desired. Hadya, of course, had prepared one in advance - a sort of welcome for any alliance between their two sister nations that President Yusuf would accept. She only hoped that once she arrived at the podium that she would not fumble. Charisma had never been her strongest trait, but she managed to enjoy popular support due to the values she stood up for, namely justice and freedom for Muslim people all over the world. It was no accident that Laasmistan had become known worldwide for its vibrant multicultural communities made up primarily of persecuted refugees from other lands. Maybe some day Insaanistani citizens would only be added to this mosaic. God forbid it was through war or genocide.

After a long trip via plane (and taxi) The three people from ERoA would step out of a taxi
The first one, would be looking like your regular emu.
The second one, is wearing a crown.
And the third one, simply has a tie.
“You sure this is the right place, Emuus?” The tie wearing emu would say to the regular one.
“Yes Fargo, this is the right place” Emuus would reply back.


“It’s been sixteen years since they isolated themselves hasnt it?” The crown wearer would say.
“Boy, 2022 was a while ago. Still were only a minority” Fargo would tell crown-wearer.

"Hello people of Insaanistan! I would like to thank you all for your hospitality, Its my honor to be here amongst such great people, I didn't really, Prepare a speech or anything, but, from what I can tell from what I've scene from this country, tonight's going to be a blast!"
The crowd cheers, and as he walks off platform and meets with Abdoulaye, he hands him the Fine Glassed Neptunvian Pomegranate Soda. As he does, he takes in the fine architecture of the Palace. "Nice place!" he mentions to the President, "Man, you guys know your way around an furniture store!" Chaim's laughs a little.

“Hello crowd! I am Emuus! Current leader of ERoA.”
He then points to Fargo
“This is Fargo Wiltas, The Minister of Foreign Affairs in ERoA”
Fargo would wave.
“And Lastly, This is Baron Zelton Erielleh, Minister of Homeland Affairs and Baron of Emuerra.”
Zelton would wave.
And so, the trio of emus would walk up to the palace and enter.
“Hello, Mr. President.” Fargo would say to the President

The crowd went silent upon hearing the birds speak as they walked up to the stage.
“Jinn! Jinn! Jinn!” someone yelled out. A mad scramble ensued as most of the crowd began a mad dash away from the the area under the impression that the completely sentient birds were spirits of some kind.

The president facepalmed and grabbed the microphone. “No, stop! They’re not jinn, they’re just… never mind, there’s no bringing them back.”
He turned to the trio of Emus. “That was my mistake, I should’ve prepped them first.”

The Sultan and Sultana arrived at the palace. For the first time in 16 years they set foot in it. This time without a prophecy of doom and destruction. They had heard the commotion but they understood what was happening.
“Emus?” The Sultana asked
“Yes, apparently Australia has been taken over by the Emus. Perhaps we should warn the Prime Minister of Dowunda.” The Sultan said and laughed.
The two went over to the President all smiles.
“Greetings sir. My name is Farhan Hashem the Sultan of Mosarat.” The Sultan said extending his hand.
“And I am Nevine Hashem the Sultana of Mosarat.” She said.

Around two hours after its departure, the Prince Plane has landed in Muslimbol, Insaanistan's capital. Prince Keirans hailed a taxi after picking up a translation guide from a shop nearby the airport, and he was off to the palace in a fancy three-piece suit and his 12-karat golden crown.

“It tastes good.” The Sultan said.
“Yes.” She replied.

The two put a cork on their bottle and put it up out of the way.

My family held a ceremony with the long defunct Insaani monarchy in which the Hashem family and the Insaani Royal Family became ceremonially related. I do want to make it clear we have no desire to attempt to restore the monarchy but I decided I should get that out of the way.” The Sultan explained.

I don’t understand. The Sultan thought. How can he not remember them? Maybe he was too young. But he can’t be that young. Something is wrong terribly wrong. “Do any of those names mean anything to you?” The Sultan asked.

It was different, carrying a rather unique taste, but the woman did find it to her liking. "I wouldn't mind making a trade deal to have some of this shipped into Laasmistan." She declared with a nod towards the Neptunvian minister. It was almost brilliant how he had opted to promote himself today.

"Really? Well, glad to hear that, I can actually text the boys down in shipping, right now if you want." exclaims Chaim's "Yeah, you gotta hand it to the lab boys, they know how to make a good Pomegranate." he chuckles a little as he can feel everyone's curiosity linger. "Right, I probably should have let you know, um, the reason it doesn't have any perspectives is because its a Genetically modified Pomegranate." White puts his hands to his side. "I would have told you sooner, but like, I didn't want to make a bad impression. Sorry."

President Abdoulaye stared blankly at the Sultan as he spoke. He raised an eyebrow when the Sultan finished.
“Sultan,” he said, “Are you feeling alright? In Insaanistan, we’ve never had a Royal Family. Being a democracy, we never had much need for royals.”

“I’ve never heard of a single one of those names in my life,” he said. “That’s simply preposterous. Besides, two of those people had the last name Khan. That’s a South Asian name, and as of yet, Insaanistan hasn’t had any leaders that weren’t born in Africa.” Turning to White he replied, “Don’t worry, it’s quite alright.” Jokingly, he added, “Everything’s GMO or organic, the only difference is one is expensive!”
