Facing strong resistance from Texian Assault Brigades, Greater Morvonia allows the use of Chemical, Biological and Radiological weapons.

On the outskirts of Kyoto, multiple CH-53E helicopters fly low. They are equipped with extendable arms, dispensing a mixture of water, low strength acid and Anthrax over the local area. Morvonian troops have already evacuated the city, with the intention to push further into Tokyo.

A grey mist descends over the trenches outside Kyoto. Texian soldiers equipped with gas masks march through the infected marshes, while those without masks lie unbreathing in the mud.

The Japanese Mainland - Status: Nearing annihilation.
The Crimson Vanguard are focusing on occupying smaller towns across the island to ensure the other armies can't bombard them. This tactic of leaving Crimson installations in Japanese towns and cities is helping to save millions of lives. The Japanese population are starting to warm up to them as a result of them providing humanitarian aid in the wake of their allies wreaking havoc. Laura orders her men and women to support civilians wherever needed.

Arvus Lighters were still searching for any Japanese forces to supply, their escorts constantly on high alert, as intel had reported the massacres that had been occurring. The Marauder Bombers and Lightning fighters escorting the Lighters were not unarmed, ready to combat any attacks on the convoy of Arvus Lighters. Krieg has also offered to supply the Texian forces with food, water, ammo, and weaponry.

Sky Reavers might be barbaric menchildren, but they belive, that protection of innocents is their honorable duty. Knowing, that war had spiralled out of control far beyond the intended goals, they decided to prevent possible genocide. Liam Navarro decided to copy the Crimson Tree plan and dispersed the warbands to capture and occupy as many villages and towns as possible to prevent their bombardment and provide humanitarian aid. They would spread the message, that the real enemies are not Sky Reaver or Crimson Tree, but the "allies", that went rogue.

In the meantime, Liam Navarro would send several transmissions to those, causing mayhem, hoping to make them stop this madness. Hopefully, a violent confrontation will not be required.

The support for our troops is appreciated as we are unable to supply or get reinforcements to Japan without our ships being under attack.

All Krieg needs to know to make sure it all gets to Texian forces is where to deliver the supplies to. Equipment such as artillery and gas masks will also be delivered when given the location.

Deliver them to major cities that haven’t been invaded yet (wherever those are, we really need a map of the frontlines), We have defenses set up around them. We are currently fighting in the region near Kyoto against Morvonian forces, we could use some gas masks there.

Texian troops are stranded in the Anthrax-infected marshes of Lake Biwa, awaiting Krieg supplies. Only half of the troops were given MOPP suits.

Many Morvonian troops have been flown out of Kyoto and towards Tokyo, however a large amount were left in Kyoto, alone among the mist. They prepare for a siege, believing that Texian forces are preparing to push further in.

The Crimson Vanguard have started to joke they'd be in Japan their whole lives. The situation is utterly hopeless, potentially irredeemable.

There is one civilian left in Kyoto.

Her name is Mei Tanaka, and she is 26 years old.

She is currently living in the Nakagyo Ward of Kyoto, near the Morvonian encampment at Nijō Castle. Prior to the war, she worked in a genetics lab, and had prior experience with Anthrax. She also collaborated with Morvonian troops.

So far she has been shot 12 times, all of which she has miraculously survived.

Today she found a hole in one of her HazMat suits. The skin underneath the hole has become hard and grey.

She may not survive for long.

Lucky for Tanaka-san, a Crimson medical cyborg was nearby. The augmented doctor offered the geneticist a stimpack full of nanomachines that purge the user's body of toxins continuously for a half-hour. This was his last of these syringes however, and all he had left were his surgery equipment and some auto-menders. The cyborg escorted Mei out of the biohazard exclusion zone in that half-hour and returned to a Crimson forward base to restock.

Other of these nanostims include adrenal implants, healing nanomachines, and performance enhancing nanomachines, while he had also ran out of.

Due to the great sacrifices made by the allies in the special operation against militaristic Japan, the humanitarian society "white Shirts" decided to launch a humanitarian and sanitary expedition under a neutral flag to help the civilian population during the fighting. The Prime Minister of the East Indies stated that "the Crimson Tree special operation is going strictly according to plan, despite some misunderstandings among their allies, which lead, as in any war, to civilian casualties. Therefore, our charitable foundations decided to lend a helping hand to the Japanese people"

It is unknown how the medical cyborg ended up in Kyoto, due to Morvonia's hatred of cyborgs, but it was a welcome sign to Tanaka-san. She questioned the cyborg how he was able to survive the anthrax mists. They ended up having a rather pleasant conversation, whcih was quickly interrupted by the sounds of gunfire...

Atsugi, Kanagawa prefecture

The Morvonian troops evacuated from Kyoto have finally reached their destination. Their goal is to link up with Kjalåran and Crimson Tree forces in central Tokyo, however they are facing a combination of organised criminal groups, Roman Militiamen and the JDSF. This has lead to Morvonia using carpet bombing tactics, against High Command's orders.

Krieg "Arvus Lighters" flew to the marshes of Lake Biwa, the guardsmen exiting it in full MOPP suits, carrying out supplies that included more MOPP suits, food, water, ammunition, and weaponry, as well as gas masks. Krieg has begun preparing mobilization in case it had to join the war.
