Motivations: Military intelligence is keenly interested in the four Ws and H of conflict and its aspects both before and after they spark.
Orbital Assets: Nothing
Ground Assets: 3 military intelligence members under the cover of being press investigators, investors, diplomats, or whatever be as the situation requires. Smuggled in with a long range reconnaissance vehicle and the supplies necessary to get around and survive for some period of isolation.
Miscellaneous: Personal, been a while since I have tried to be involved, this weighed on me enough to try something small and out of the way that probably will not have enough effect on the overall story if that is okay.

Nation Name: The Computatrum Terram of M-101 - MAGME (M-101 Alien Ground Mining Expedition)
Motivations: On one hand, Lightstone is one of the few minerals essential for the arms manufacturing industry on M-101, and the Comps could benefit from a steady supply of them, on the other hand, the Comps are naturally reluctant to enter combat. Most of their activity on Planet Sunryria would revolve around extracting those Lightstone with their lasers of various sizes, without desecrating the religious site of the Ellians, while giving them some compensation for certain quantities of Lightstone managed to be transported back to M-101
Orbital Assets: 1x PEITS (Physical Entities Interstellar Transfer Station), a space station used to beam any object on a designated area from the planet to the station. From there, every 12 hours, every item stored on the station are sent into a one-way wormhole back to M-101
Ground Assets:
1.000 Comps
CSS Flatron, a transport-class spaceship mostly used to carry various goods to make some deals with the locals, and maybe the outsiders too
Miscellaneous: The Comps are...I hope my sig provides a decent description. In addition, their casing absorbs energy in various forms, so they can be called walking (or flying) batteries. As mentioned above, the Comps are always reluctant to enter combat, except when REALLY important matters are at stake. However, when combat is inevitable and diplomacy is useless, the Comps are skilled in using any gadget at their disposal to defend themselves. The stored energy inside their mechanoid bodies can also be dispersed through their screens in a bright searing green beam.

EDIT: Reduced the number of Comps carried after I realized nobody brought six-figure units of military personnel (my bad :skull:)

Hey Excidium. Long time no see. I wanted to try and talk to you on Discord since that was faster, but I guess this would do too.

I can't help but notice that the scale of your orbital deployment is quite a few leagues beyond what everyone else has. For this RP, I'm looking for very few spacecraft and their main function is to give some limited orbital support to ground troops. So maybe like a precision attack against a ground target using light weapons, providing air support via starfighters, or providing orbital mobility, etc.

Please see if you can reduce your orbital assets with this in mind. If you have any questions or special considerations, please feel free to reach out to me.

For reference, I've generally allowed players to bring ships in the following combinations:

2 destroyer/frigate-equivalents;
1 cruiser-equivalent and 1 auxiliary;
1 carrier-equivalent;
Or, 1 very large non-warship ship and 1 non-military ship
Note that small craft like fighters, bombers, ground-attack aircraft, dropships, etc. don't have fixed upper limits on quantity

So as an example, I think it would be good to bring a Halberd-class and pair it with either a spotting ship or a mining ship, depending on what you think would work best for you.

When I said that your satire was too on the nose, I'm referring to the way your post literally goes out of its way to hamfistedly lampshade its hamfisted satire, among other things. Satire can be more subtle, like 1984. Hence why I said "Literally 1984." You can tell a serious but satirical story without being so direct as to call out people in-text. For example, you blur the line between the roleplay and the metagame on multiple occasions which, as you have acknowledged yourself, completely breaks immersion and takes away from the story and the game more than it adds to either.

Hey CIC. Do you think you can reduce this deployment by one destroyer? One destroyer and one assault ship is pretty much on par with what most other people are bringing. If you feel like just one destroyer isn't enough, you can swap out both destroyers for a single cruiser.
