Let's turn the time back to months ago, to explain how did the situation become like that.
The peace conference of the Aursian Civil War, while bringing peace and democracy to Aursi, later officially the Democratic Federal Republic of Aursi, did not satisfy all of the Aursian people.
The Communists complain that even when they win the war by forcing the monarchist government to a peace treaty, the regime did not exactly become socialist, or even leftist. The 1:1:1 ratio in the Parliament allowed all parties to have equal power, yet failed to let the communists achieve what revolution is in their minds. Right now, their power is still too weak to create a socialist Aursi.
The Democrats worried about the fact that the former government is still the new democratic government, while just changing the surface into a party called the United Aursian Party. It remained largely popular among the Aursian population, and the brink of the death of Aursian Monarchism seems to revive on its own.
The United Aursian Party, without anyone's feeling of surprise, won the first election in a landslide and won 431 seats in the parliament among the 450. While being secretly monarchist and against the Treaty of Aurtumn, president Ariza Inshirah, after the resignation of the former president Calvin Dexter, decided that a referendum is going to be hosted in favour of monarchy restoration, which then resulted, in the expectation of the Aursian, in a large percentage to restore the monarchy.
However, the referendum did not represent everyone's opinion, while roughly 25% of the whole population voted, which is not enough number for an overhauling decision to be made. The Aquaria and the KTO countries demanded the abolishment of the monarchy before it is proved truly democratic, but the government of Aursi pretty much refused.
So, like what you are seeing right now, a war is going to happen between both coalitions. What will happen next? The permanent death of the Aursian Monarchism? Or the decline of KTO? This is a war of destiny.
