The Lakan fleet, considering coverage by Su-30’s and AWACS’es is easily able to detect the launch of multiple Tomahawks by the fleet and is soon to react to this by detaching half of the Su-30’s from their current location and down towards the missiles, which the planes will engage using at first their BVRAAM’s, then, as they close in, short-range missiles and, lastly, guns, trying their best to stay as far as possible from Tomahawk not to be caught in the explosion, if canon round hits warhead. The ships also engage it with their S-400(navalized), 3С90Э.1 and S-300F SAM systems- as the missiles close in, ship-based medium-short range SAM systems such as Tor or Pantsir will join in, with the final interception being performed by Kashtan, Gibka and Palash artillery systems. Of all launched missiles, around 2 successfully evade interception and make it to their targets, further damaging Inexorable (which is now unable to operate most of her anti-ship systems) and one BPK, which is able to have the missile pass right behind it using chaff dispensers. Now was the time for a counter strike, for the Lakan missile carriers to finally launch on hostile warships (OOC note: please detail AXANIA losses in ships)

Although officially offering no comment on the proposal of surrender, unofficially Lakans agree with peace proposal, hoping that they’ll be able to “accident away” the current leader of the NM faction and install whoever they’ll deal controllable enough for them to have yet another dominion in the area. (Of course they won’t tell them that they want to stage a coup)

The Return of the King

The Constitutional Monarchy of Sanhana and her governances has announced full military support pledged to the New Republic of Axadonia. Stating in a public release over the Sands and Sun news network (first on the website, then on TV)
"It is within our goals and rights to support the true and rightful rulers of Axadonia against immoral and destructive foes, no official wartime measures will be declared at this time, although it is within our rights to close Sanhanan airspace to all rebel forces or supporting alles of said forces. Let it be known now and to the public, including our enemies. We sleep no longer, we hide and cower away no longer from the truth of war in Axadonia. Even after the re-election of parliament and higher bodies who wished to stay out of conflict."

The Axadonian government has full approval to access Sanhanan satellites and similar technology, no official statements have been given about this yet, but it's assumed that Sanhanan military bases are also open to Axadonian usage during this conflict. No nuclear weapons have even been considered for this conflict, with the head nuclear engineer relaying to Azia that no side of the war would be foolish enough to launch nuclear weapons.

It is within the Axadonian government's best interest to accept a possible military shipment within the near future containing weapons, armor, and possibly aircraft to support the government's cause. The shipment will be made on the island of Crete. Do not miss it, it will be in 3 months.

Karthor has been watching the conflict as of recently. The State had intended on remaining neutral for as long as possible. Premier Sathon who recently succeeded Andrew wished to continue Andrew's strict neutrality policy on the Axadonian Civil War. However, Russia has showed its ugly neck recently. Knowing that Russia has supported the Neo-Monarchist movement, and the United States has abandoned yet another country just like Afghanistan. Karthor has decided to support the New Republic of Axadonia. Premier Sathon has sent around 500.000 volunteers to mainland Axadonia followed by moving its navy to the Mediterranean to prepare to support the Axadonian Navy. The Navy has Hyper-Propulsion Cannons that provide extremely high and lethal accuracy. It just depends on where we hit

New Republic and Anatolia: Diplomats from the the New Republic of Axadonia were particularly successful in restoring Anatolian involvement in the crisis. The Anatolian Armed Forces (Army, Navy, and Airforce) have begun a collaboration with the Axadonian Armed Forces (Everything. Even the space force) and have thus begun the AXNIA Initiative (a combination of Axadonia and Anatolia). Before the AXNIA Initiative Axadonia initiated a large bombardment campaign in the Core Provinces to mess up Lakan supply lines. AXNIA involves a sudden Anatolian-Axadonian counteroffensive in East Thrace for two purposes.

1: Protection of Silo 11. A armed nuclear silo in dangerous proximity to Lakan forces.
2: The end of the Base 55 Siege. Base 55 is an important naval base for the New Republic. The New Republic does not intend to give it up so easily.

This was also followed by the arrival of the Axadonian Navy at Base 55 which includes Railgun Battleships and Railgun Cruisers. They begin to fire upon any Lakan Ship near Base 55 and also assist the AXNIA Initiative.

Neo-Monarchists: Despite the Neo-Monarchist disadvantage and the fact that Lakan forces in Thrace have only achieved half of what their strategic offensives true intentions were. There is still some progress on the Neo-Monarchist side. Neo-Monarchist forces have started their own counteroffensive under new General Kalzatar Kalza named Operation Deimos. This counteroffensive is a offensive in Eastern Albania and parts of North Axadonia dedicated to pushing the New Republic back and protect the city of Avarcium. Avarcium is thus saved from an immediate siege. The Neo-Monarchists as a result have managed to threaten the city of Spersos by retaking the entirety of Lake Ohrid. Neo-Monarchist forces on the Yugoslav front were able to push Yugoslav forces away from Pristanaria and thus ensure the defense of the city for the time being.

Yugoslavia: The Socialist Federative Republic of Yugoslavia has continued to ignore the New Republican Front. Instead they have moved their forces into the city of Tazalon (starting the Siege of Tazalon). This was followed by a bombardment of Kosovo and North Axadonia with fighter jets and bombers causing extensive civilian casualties that the New Republic criticizes for high cost of life. Due to the Lakan presence in North Axadonia a large dog fight has begun in the skies of Kosovo and North Axadonia. Yugoslavia has a disadvantage in terms of its own air force's size compared to Lakan forces. However, Foreign support from Gonswanza seems to be helping Yugoslavia a lot. Yugoslavia intends to continue pushing Neo-Monarchist forces hopefully out of Serbia and Montenegro soon. Which would regain the popularity of the people as the defeats in the war have drawn harsh criticism.

Gonswanzan blockade runners continue to operate successfully, or at least with limited success given a few minor losses. Yet, supplies and support continue to arrive, with the 27th being activated and due to arrive by carrier soon... However, Laura Ortiz denies their activation, turning them back to Hidrandia and naval intercepts in the Pacific while pushing for more ground attack aircraft and more artillery instead.

The arsenal ships attempt to slip in, only to surface off the shores of Albania with the Oscar class submarines, unleashing a hail of Kalibrs as new shipments rush in, due to deliver Kinzhal missiles along with BrahMos cruise missiles for use against land targets, while container ships rush in to try to lend supplies. Supposedly.

Limited humanitarian aid is offered as well, through various container ships as well, paired with a modified Comet II that was meant to act as a hospital ship. Yet, it's questionable if it could escape the Lakans after the first surprise attack, much less survive the coming weeks.

In other news, Gonswanzan tanks and artillery continue to multiply, with more mortars and ammo flown in, more infantry as well, as combat around Tazalan intensifies to a fever pitch.

Thermobaric weapons from imported TOS-1s soon offer their hand in the battle, as the 15th close in upon the city, a firestorm ignited as civilians and enemies alike are thrown into a funeral pyre of their own creation.

New Republic: Axadonian forces have been stuck for a little while now. The New Republic is preparing for Operation Mosque. A new offensive with unknown intentions. However a new offensive has reportedly been planned to move on the city of Konanthius immediately with the 2nd and 5th Army.

The Ruvingalic Navy is greatly appreciated and sent to fight Lakan ships immediately.

Neo-Monarchists: Neo-Monarchist forces have pushed Axadonian forces further back in Thrace and even in Albania where now they are at the gates of the city of Spersos. However, Neo-Monarchist forces were not prepared for a major attack that happened soon after their approach of Spersos was noticed. Because of the loss of significant Northern territories the Neo-Monarchists have instituted a new draft.

Yugoslavia: Yugoslavia has achieved extremely concerning gains against the Neo-Monarchists. Pushing them further back at a rate that has greatly concerned Neo-Monarchist forces. Yugoslavia expects that soon they will push Neo-Monarchist forces out of Montenegro

With Lakan aircrafts contesting the air, there are concerns inside the aircraft carrier that they might strike down and advance towards the fleet. As such, the Hisshin jets on patrol sorties attempted to block their course, while additional squadrons takes off to the air, attempting to bring 10 jets into the air incase the lakan jets attacked. Meanwhile, helicopters expanded their range to drop their passive sonobuoys, and began entering Albanian airspace to relieve the old Janpian troops near Durrës. They fly low, avoiding surface radar detection, and only carried flares and chaff along with them. Of course, they are under the radars of the Destroyers and Jets, giving them real-time reports of the helicopters, while the fleet and jets remains on guard. At the mean time, any tags detected by the SPY-6 radars were automatically targetted by the ship's CMS, enabling the fleet to coordinate their attacks just in case.

Ironkeeper Hunters stalk Albaland and Acsadoland skys

Day and noon, Lakan and Russian aircraft commanded Albaland and Acsadoland skys, laying ruin to Republican and NATO troops and aircraft. But by dark, Ironkeep claimed and commanded, sending not but any aircraft. Among Albaland peaks and clouds, try (3) dark streaks bolted in unbounded grouping, not to be undetected, but to act as birds on screen. Every Ironkeeper aircraft beared S223s (AA bombs) in a bomb hold, maintaining a sleek form, mostly for Ironkeeper Darkness Flyers. Enemy flyers, look out and yield on guard - Ironkeeper Hunters stalk about and around.

Space: Continuing their attacks on everything belonging to NATO, ranging from reconnaissance sattelites to civilian TV ones (Cossack possesses the necessary range to take most of them down)- because of their inability to effectively differentiate civilian sattelite from camouflaged military ones, it was decided to target everything which could be destroyer without depleting the supply of Instrebitel’ Sputnikov’s or ASAT missiles. Sanhanan (OOC: good to see you back pal) satellites are also on the list. This strategy of “unrestricted space warfare” technically may fall under legal clauses prohibiting piracy, which would mean that Cossack is the first space pirate vessel… How Ironic.

Sea west of Albania (forgor the name)
Lakan military presence in the area was already heavy when Goswanzan vessels have arrived- they were “shadowing” Janpian fleet and gathering info for further potential engagements with yet another foe, which of course would include many ASW choppers actively searching for any Janpian submarines using active/passive sonars as well as magnetic anomaly detectors. Surface combatants were also present and although they were more concerned with Janpian surface fleet and air stuff, they would neither the less carry on searching for undersea combatants. Because of this, Goswanzan vessels were unable to undetectably pass through- and although initially Lakans were hesitant to fire on them, believing them to belong to Janpia, after thoroughly checking all sorts of profiles, they have decided that they make for a valid target.

The submerged Arsenal ships would at first be attacked by Ka-27M ASW choppers, who will primarily use air-dropped torpedoes, moreover than that, a few minutes after deciding to begin their attack, two Il-38’s and one Tu-242 ASW planes will be guided in by the helicopters onto target, dropping many more dive bombs and attacking the hostile with more air-dropped torpedoes. Moreover than that, most moveable Lakan military installations are going to pack up and change positions (to avoid being hit by GPS/INS-guided cruise missiles, and “unmovable” objects will prepare for an assault by aforementioned measures such as ready damage control teams, call in emergency services, etc.

Albania frontline:
Lakan regional command advises their NM counterparts to cease offensive actions for now and not to attempt to advance and capture Spersos- it will tide down too many units and will leave them open to offensive actions on other elements on the frontline. However, a looming threat of invasion can and should be maintained, as it will force the republicans to keep a sizeable portion of their forces in the region.

Montenegro:

Most of Lakan unarmored ground units currently located on the northern frontline will be moved towards Montenegro, where they will be tasked with defending the region from the looming threat of Yugo invasion. Their primary tactics will rely on utilizing fortified positions as means to concentrate large portions of hostile units in areas where allied artillery and strike aviation will be able to deal significant damage to hostiles before they reposition or retreat, considering the geography of the place, it should work…

In the eastern frontline, Inexorable relentlessly leads her little flotilla forwards, intending to clear the path for allied landing force to be able to safely reach Arathos. Although they have no actual intention of capturing the city, they hope that mere threat of loosing such a strategically important area will force the hostile fleet to attempt to prevent the supposedly planned landing, in which they’ll be successful- however the resulting weakening of Base 55 should allow Marine landing vessels and landing support craft to begin a landing operation.

SIGINT and ELINT efforts on southern frontline will be intensified, with intended result being detection of the general direction of the Republican offensive. Because of their destruction of communication satellites, it is expected of them to be able to scramble hostile radio comms more effectively.

The submarines scramble to deploy countermeasures, though the sheer amount of torpedoes in the noisy environment, paired with their oddly specific systems, makes damage and loss inevitable.

Yet, when the humanitarian aid vessel is stricken, the Gonswanzan press soon pushes hard to paint Laka as the enemy, with images and footage used to frame them as such. To see a hospital ship blown up, that was rather... Useful. Though that also meant losing plenty of medical units, as more fast cargo ships attempt to push through with medical markings to try to carry humanitarian aid.

Even as that is ongoing, the arsenal ship barely scrapes past, though what did survive the initial storm still carried out the mission, hammering down coastal targets and other areas of interest in southwestern Montenegro.

The air campaign continues as well, as more tanks and aircraft are flown in with infantry, though now leaflets are being deployed over Albania when possible, showing images of a medical ship being preyed upon by a demon with the Lakan flag on its forehead. On the ground, broadcasts are made to further inflate the Lakan "scourge", pirate stations showing footage of a medical ship under attack, stating "your defenders are killing those who cannot defend themselves, to protect their 'honor'. Imagine what they will do to you!"

Back in Gonswanza, mobs fueled by propaganda rush for recruiting stations, keen on fueling the war effort, even as things heat up further in the seas around Axadonia.

ISIC:
The supposed hospital ship and aid ships were actually loaded with weapons, intended to get close enough to unload weapons or even launch strikes down the shoreline. Given the catastrophic detonation and near-total destruction of the ship, however, it would be rather difficult to gather evidence to support the idea of it being a disguised military ship.

Following the Lakan attack on both civilian and military satellites (OOC: Thanks man, it means a lot to be back), the Sanhanan government has switched the focus of broadcasting to over the ground radio and networking towers in an attempt to replace the lost infrastructure. Although claims could be made that this is an attempt for the government to assert control before the storm comes.

Pre-emptive Strike Policy: General Policy/Navy
We sit back no longer. War is declared on the entire neo monarchist faction within three weeks of the Lakan strike. Mobilization is called up within those three weeks. The majority of the military is called to arms and to fight against those who destroy the free will of the people. A strike is launched against targets within the Mediterranean, with the Straight of Gibraltar closed to all military ships, and any non republican ships within the waters of Sanhana will be boarded and captured. should any naval ships refuse, they are to be destroyed with whatever weapons are needed.

Pre-emptive Strike Policy: Airforce/Ground Force
The RSAAF is able to begin combat operations within 2 weeks, with skirmish craft engaging in dogfights and harassments where possible against in the air forces. Ground troops will set out for the mainland within 1 month, where they will work under the command of Axadonian Generals in tandem with Sanhanan Commanders. The story is told clearly through our action. We will not tolerate any acts of war.

New Republic: Out of nowhere the New Republic has launched nearly 200 missiles in Neo-Monarchist Territory in North Axadonia and the Core Provinces with none hitting Albanian Territory. This was then followed by a massive bombardment campaign all over the Core Provinces using Hypersonic Elysium Bombers (thus the operation's name) before a massive offensive using a combination of 5 different armies (1st, 2nd, 16th, 11th, and 20th), volunteers, and foreign volunteers with the goals of taking the strategically important cities of Jalatos, Avarcium, Pellasapol, Konanthius, and (after Jalatos) Tirana. This is also followed by the offensive making an attempt to push the Neo-Monarchists away from Spersos which was successful. The Offensive is fully intended on forcing the Neo-Monarchists to negotiate on New Republican Terms. This was also followed by a sudden naval counterattack by the Axadonian, and Anatolian Navies (with apparent support from Karthor) against Lakan and Neo-Monarchist naval and air forces.

Although the offensive is likely not going to take all projected goals the offensive has seen concerning progress including undoing Lakan attempts to take Arathos and preventing Spersos from falling.

Speaking of, the siege of Tazalan is still underway, with Gonswanzan forces hammering forth against the city with artillery, keen on destroying any resistance within. Loitering munitions are also employed, with MiGs being delivered to try to hammer away along with what few Black Sharks were delivered. Yet, this massed siege was furthered with incendiary weapons, shown most blatantly by night where the city glowed with a deep orange haze on the horizon.

Elsewhere on the front, the artillery duels continue, though Trumpets attempt to flank around, exploiting the deadlock, with Swords as support. A rather flawed tactic, which results in a heavy loss, as artillery units are practically forced to shoot on the run.

In the skies, however, humanitarian aid and military aid are delivered in mixed batches, in an attempt to try to feed the Yugoslav front and maintain momentum.

At Fort Andrews, the Mystery Realmsian reinforcements had arrived to reinforce the Marajarbian presence. Coming all the way from East and West Mystery Realms, two Marajarbian colonies obtained in the war against Mystery Realms and its corrupt, war-hungry monarch, King Mysterious, these troops would likely be important for a future battle, as the troops at Fort Andrews prepare to pack up and make their way to the next big battle, assisting Axadonian troops and civilians along the way.
