The Imperial Collective Territories of Indonesia is a collection of the western islands of Indonesia /Borneo Sumatra and Java. After the loss of the Indonesian-born candidate in the recent election, the Indonesian nationalist front along with the Governor-General of the Collective islands and the Organization of Freedom has launched an insurgency attacking government offices and police all across the Territory. President and First Consul Alex Cooper has authorized a counter-insurgency military operation and declared martial law in the area sparking the start of Operation Dominance AKA the First Indonesian Insurgency.

Well basically the nationalist front lost the election via their puppet party and so they want revenge since they don't have much power in the government and so they instead ally with the organization of pan Indonesian independence and the governor-general by appealing to their ambitions through bribery negotiation and corruption. We made a compromise having their leader be on the cabinet but now they want full independence from the imperium and rejected said compromise.
