"You could if you wanted to mix the poisons with others to make another drink." Iris said

Reeder mumbled, "Damn polka squid..." before continuing, "All right, let's continue this tour. We've still got to actually enter the main building, so let's hustle!"
He began to jog into the darkness onto more platforms that lit up. One by one, lights illuminated four more tanks with various brightly colored liquids swirling around in them. Inside the tanks were the usual experiments: an insectile creature covered with rust-red chitinous plates and way too many bony spines jaggedly sticking out at points; a series of blades of grass growing up from dirt and rocks that lay at the bottom of the tank; a series of four brains connected together, leading down to a billowy iredescent body like that of a jellyfish, and ending in sinously shimmering tendrils, and a bug-like creature with leathery skin, four delicate feet, and two long feelers emerging from the sides of it's face.

Tanks lit up just as Reeder began to jog ahead of them one tank show an insect type, another four brains connected to a jellyfish which the three of them thought was like a alien from a bad movie. The last looked like a four footed imp at least to them.
"Son of a bitch! This isn't the main building *pause* should of know." Brant said

Reeder laughed. "Oh, yes, it's proper grass......most of the time. However, when a certain frequency is played over it, the grass's structure changes and it stiffens up and hardens, achieving the properties and sharpness of....a very, very sharp knife. Used in mass-quantities, we thought it might help in defense against burglars and the like, but no one's been interested so far. You can see a demonstration if you like."
