He pointed to the walls, as the darkness was revealed to have been the walls of the Spire.....for as the elevator lifted slowly, after about five seconds it was discovered that the walls, ceiling, and floor were entirely glass, and it looked as though they were literally standing on nothing.

Nigel Pulled out a Small Cake stand, On which Various Fairy/Cup Cakes Stood, As he left the elevator, He Tutted "Professor Langstrom, This Is getting Beyond" He Chortled

The group walked to a brightly lit room, walls black but covered by tapestries, denoting alchemical experiments from long ago and ancient formulas. As the group stepped onto red carpet, they heard the elevator lower beneath them, back to the ground. The room was stocked high with beakers, lab tables, charts, and an entire row was taken up by what seemed to be a wine cabinet. There was a large purple-black egg at the opposite end of the room.

The room they entered looked like a storage room more than anything with beakers, tables, charts and a large purple-black egg that made Brant shake a little.
