This war was about Turkey trying to stop Aegeonia from joining NATO. Why are we talking about GENA and KTO now? And why does the treaty make no reference to NATO whatsoever?

Because-
NATO doesn't actually exist (afaik, unless it was refunded)

Also this was Turkey launching an invasion of Aegeonia as far as I was made aware, only for that to be turned into an invasion of Communist Turkey, wrapped up with a bow of a nuclear exchange and a temporary peace broken by chemical weapon attacks before the treaty was finally realized by all parties present.
