What approach to war does YN have? The Lazio family has a hold on certain military units. The family runs an organization which makes money off of war among other things. They see the chance to make money smuggling with the cartel. Many may not agree with all aspects of the cartel’s business. They will put the safety of their people first. But business is business and they hope to forge an alliance.
Does YN specialize in a particular field of combat (e.g. naval, air, land, space, etc.)? If so, which? Specialists in alpine infantry, light infantry and artillery. Mostly ground forces will be under the command of Lazio family officers.
What kinds of weapons will most troops have? Assault rifles, light and heavy machine guns, rocket launchers, man-portable combat drones, mortar teams, armored MRAP vehicles
Does YN have weapons of mass destruction? Chemical and Biological weapons
What combat capabilities does YN have? The nation has a tough army with a modern Navy and Air Force. They also posses clandestine combat forces, from highly disciplined special forces to corrupt mercenaries.

A few of these have some pretty decent descriptions actually. Like, your third post in that RP, I want to draw attention to that as producing some evocative imagery - from just those brief descriptions, I get a pretty decent idea of who this guy is! This is good, and should be celebrated.

However, all of these posts appear to be fairly short. I even checked the more recent pages of that RP to see if you were making improvements - you do seem to have picked up a bit of formatting (not bad!), but the posts don't look like they're getting any longer; some actually seem to be getting smaller. Short replies mean you aren't giving your fellow RPers much to work with. Do you have any longer posts to provide as an example?

Right. To answer your question, the first posts will probably show what business as usual looks like, maybe anyone's political maneuvering for/against us before we've actually attacked (you can totally do that), or the establishment of alliances. The first post sets the stage for what will come.

I know I didn't leave a lot to work with here. Sorry. This took quite a while, and I know everyone was already waiting; and this post was already this big. I was trying to show how we were going to get to Chekbria, establish some characters, and give a pretty good idea who we are, how we operate, and what local level power looks like. I hope it helps.

As you have not posted yet, feel free to make your post. Once you have, then we wait until everyone else has posted.

There isn't a set turn order, it's just more-so making sure everyone gets a chance to post once before more posts are made. That way nobody gets left behind. Everyone gets an equal to chance to act, and the RP doesn't end up moving faster than anyone's ability to post in it.

Because, let me tell you, I've seen, and even been in, RPs that move faster than people's ability to post. It's not enjoyable. It can cause some pretty nasty schisms, too. That's why I don't mind a slower-paced RP. Also comes with the added advantage that it gives people more time to think out and plan their posts.

Yes, the Airden Cartel has a long history of trade with the fae. Like many cartels in the Wartorn Realms, it is practically built on its relationship with the fae. The fae pay very well for mortal children, as decent chunks of their society is built upon mortals as a resource. Put these two together, the Airden Cartel, like many other cartels in the Wartorn Realms, is going to trade mortal children to the fae in exchange for wealth, magic, and services.
