Considering Poland now being involved (a country which is a NATO member) I believe that if Ukraine will attack them first this should automatically Article 5 US to join the war on anti-slaver side.

Which would also warrant Germany invading Poland pt.2, so in the end we can have our cool conventional absurd version of WWIII I guess
