IC: The Global Confederation of Nations, or GCN, is currently making preparations to create the soon-to-be established Global Entente of Nations and Alliances, so to ensure that the GENA prospers, history will be made in the form of a free and fair democratic election for the last official leadership in the Global Confederation of Nations. The questions for the candidates go as follows:

Why are you running for the Global Senate?
Any policies you wish to add or improve in GCN or GENA?
Any plans for the future of GCN/GENA?
Any plans for dealing with modern events (I.e the GCN-KTO Cold War)?

Julian Andrews would make his way to the debate site at the Marajarbian Royal Hall in Andreusville. Carrying a briefcase filled with documentation regarding nothing but plans to continue to further develop the Global Confederation of Nations and its soon-to-be successor known as the Global Entente of Nations and Alliances, Julian would head to his assigned seat.

The Muqaddasi rep arrives.

It was time for the debate to start. While the other representatives arrived, Julian Andrews and the Muqaddasi candidate were both asked the first question. Julian would answer with the following:

Julian Andrews: “I am running for the Global Senate because in spite of ongoing scandals, the Global Confederation of Nations has been revitalized to continue pushing forward for a new future. This new world we are all living in has only started thanks to the actions of not just the Marajarbian Government, but the Olpenese, Muqaddasi, Meretican, and Atlantican government. Each individual government sought out the same thing, establishing a mega alliance that could function properly and be effective. Some wanted a World Assembly successor, others just wanted a mega-alliance, but it’s primarily cooperation and diplomacy that got us here today. Now, with the Global Entente of Nations and Alliances on the horizon, this New World Order can truly start.”

“I am running to fix GCN inactivity on dangerous issues. If the GCN continues to ignore what it does not want to hear then it is doomed to fail. Enemies are near and we can waste no time. To make the GCN reach its full potential, we need advancement in scientific, military and economic ways and I am here to provide it. The GCN will only go forwards with new ideas, not just new alliances.”

The Lakan would have to answer the question. If not, the debate will move on to the next question regarding future policies.

With no response, things would move on to the next question, regarding policies implemented into GCN or GENA. Julian would answer first:

Julian Andrews: "Depending on how ongoing talks with our rival, the Kalisight Treaty Organization, take place, I will put forward a policy of continued expansion and growth for both GCN and GENA, but I would only have it so that the GCN and GENA only acquire, or attempt to acquire alliances in which there is a heavy interest in acquiring. I would also put forward a mutual cooperation policy so that rivals such as the Kalisight Treaty Organization could work alongside the GCN and GENA, meaning that both would work together to help out with reconstruction and leading the world into a new age. While KTO is pretty powerful for a rival alliance, let's not forget that KTO is only one alliance, and one rival. The world must move on from this rivalry so that history can unfold and the next rival power can rise and the world can continue its development, and the world ought to move on and develop because so far the only two major powers of this Civil War Season are only two powers."

“A system of priority, and also a science and culture cooperation act.”

Now was the time for the third question, regarding plans for the future of both the GCN and GENA. Julian answered like this:

Julian Andrews: “As previously stated, if I am elected, I will primarily pursue expanding both the GCN and the Global Entente of Nations and Alliances to new horizons. There is the possibility of many different and distinct alliances that will likely be willing to join the GENA in the future, expanding diversity and creating new possibilities as well. Each alliance merger so far would allow for the GENA to become stronger, larger, and more relevant and active, which is very beneficial.”

“I have decided to focus on domestic affairs, making sure that our alliances and member nations are at their strongest before embarking on a new route. Economic investment and a GCN military and scientific program would mean that members of the GCN would be the most powerful nations in the world.”

Sherman Holmes: “We want to see GENA reaching many trade deals with different Nations and Alliances. We want GENA to have more Partner Alliances. We'd also want GENA to aid nations which have been ruined by their Wars or Unstability.”

Julian Andrews: “To answer the final question, under my administration, I would use my expansionist agenda to finally be able to acquire some of the alliances that the Kalisight Treaty Organization has prevented us from acquiring, such as ULIBOR, while also working together with the KTO to help all nations get through the heavy reconstruction process of a hefty and pricey series of constant wars in the ever-endless cycle of alliances in these modern times.”

“We will push for peace with the KTO. If peace fails, an aggressive policy is to be adopted, to counter the KTO wherever they are. I also plan to create a sort of defence pact within GENA or at least the IDSF, to help fight off any invasions. It is still in the works. A GENA Military and Economic Cooperation Act would also be very beneficial.”

Sherman Holmes: “We want to strengthen our different branches. We want to acquire AFAAS and ULIBOR in order to strengthen our already good Anti-Slavery Branch.”
