The economy is socialist, but is very well developed and is good at organizing resources. The main industry is arms manufacturing. The citizen's way of life is rather bland, with everybody having their own jobs and anyone who even thinks against the government is reeducated.

Government Type: Stratocratic monarchical autocracy with elements of aristocracy
Describe Military: Generally speaking the military is extremely diverse so I’ll only speak about the forces present in teh engagement.

VDV are essentially mid-heavy infantry largely depending on their armor support, and contrary to their name their primary purpose is not airborne action but rather acting as a shock infantry, created and equipped solely for frontal actions against conventional armies in a shooting war. They severely prioritize quality over quantity, with their doctrine placing much emphasis on large- and small-scale planning, ELINT and SIGINT.

Imperial Naval Service, including both Marines and Navy are created to perform two basic tasks- defense of convoys ferrying out goods from the colonies and global power projection. Because of Laka believing themselves to still be a global empire, the navy maintains a presence in most of world’s oceans, having naval bases all around the globe. Their doctrine prioritizes quick deployment of a rapid response force, all while heavier units are expected to arrive within a couple of weeks or so. Combat doctrine relies on surface warships bring a primary force of action against most surface and coastal targets, with the fleet carriers being considered to be a primary force of the fleet against such targets. Neither the less, some of the ships do possess ship-launch ASM’s, which function primarily as a second-resort weapon if the fleet carrier is disabled or unavailable. They make extensive use of submarines, employing them for all tasks and purposes ranging from covert ops all the way to commerce raiding and using boomers as a very important element of a nuclear triade.

The Marines are heavy infantry force designed and supposed to rapidly advance on hostile territory, successfully established a beachhead and potentially support any further advances by allied forces. Yet again they are not designed for low-intensity or anti-partisan activities, because when they do attempt to do it they usually destroy entire cities, purely because of their rules of engagement being essentially nonexistent. They also make much use of armored support and actually are amongst the few Lakan units who still use heavy tanks.

Eh your average colonial empire economy- slowly transitioned to a post-industrial one which is greatly hampered by the fact that the state still relies on their colonies to supply them with raw materials.

No, but the nation's main nuclear power plant is located in the capital (Airstrip One) as well a power grid that distributes power to the city and its surroundings. However, the city is very well guarded

1. Fort Marx has multiple coastal defense systems, ranging from long range machine guns to guided missiles. Tens of thousands of troops ae stationed there, even more so during wartime. In addition, the majority of my navy is stationed there (about 40%, far more than any other place) and a major airbase. The skies are watched every second of every day with a variety of sensing systems and missile platforms.
2. A large naval fleet (I think over 40 ships) with several hundred aircraft and over a dozen subs with more on the way
3. I haven't calculated total military pop yet, just take my population in my factbook and multiply it by 0.092

I have a little over two thousand troops on the eastern border, with ten thousand more soldiers an a couple squadrons of fighter jets and bombers on the way to the southeastern border.
