The Democratic/Communist forces have begun an unexpected offensive with the goal of capturing Epitus. The offensive starts as a huge success before the Epitus military is able to take enough forces to halt the offensive. In response the Epitus military began a huge invasion of the Communist rebels. Quickly capturing the capital of the Communists Etimore. With the communists nearly knocked out of the war, the Epitus empire begins an invasion of the Democratic rebels. With the advance quick they believe that taking Atrea will be easy. However the city of Valin with a population of 4 million borders the Nytoa river, the largest river in the Gold Sea. However this quick victory becomes a bloody stalemate. With the main city still safe behind a wall that dates back to the Nytoan empire 1,200 years ago. With it modified with sniper towers, landmines, pillboxes and tank traps. With the quick offensive over the siege begins.

The brutal battle of Valin continues with an estimated 950,000 combatants. With the USANS sending more reinforcements an estimated 30,000 people have died. However outside of Valin the USANS has primarily focused on the Indian front.

In the South American front the fascists have escaped to Argentina. Buenos Aires becomes their new capital, however the convoys of fascists heading to the capital are constantly raided with only 34% of fascist making it to the capital. On most roads leading to Buenos Aires ruined convoys are a common sight.

In the Indian Front the USANS have reported that 83% of India has been stabilized under the USANS.

In the African front the Algerian and Sudanese rebels have agreed with the UNANS that they will support the USANS if they get their independence from Nytoa once the war is over. In South Africa rebels who have joined the USANS have reported finding large amounts of fascist MLRSs near Johannesburg, implying that the fascists wanted to destroy Johannesburg.

In a sudden turn of events, Gonswanza once again delivers supplies, in the form of mines, explosives, food, ammo, and water. This also includes mortars and grenade launchers, along with disposable rocket launchers for the rebels.

Of course, Gonswanzan officials also question if perhaps the more democratic leaning factions would want to align with Gonswanza themselves, though there is a strong (internal) refusal to send forces over to aid the conflict, short of jaded penal battalions who have been stripped of their citizenship and given the bare essentials if that. Alas, the extra bodies are easy to train and ready to fight for their new home(s), even if they are former inmates who were slated to die, thrown in prison for god knows what.

With new international aid the USANS launches ¨ operation Valour ¨ sending 12 groups of 25 spec ops to flank enemy lines. Once the spec ops reach the area they assassinate key targets, and ambush small groups separated from the main force, then when the military starts to panic a huge tank and bomber spearhead is meant to break the defensive line followed by 65,000 soldiers. The plan barely works, the spec ops attack went perfectly, however the armoured spearhead encountered many ambushes, and the bombers discovered that there were many more hidden AA guns then they expected. In the chaos 2000 Paratroopers were sent to eliminate a patch of AA guns. The Paratroopers succeed, however 73% of them die in the landings. However despite the setbacks Valin was relieved, marking the turning point in the Epitus Empires fortunes, a massive counter offensive on all fronts pushes them back, with most communist territory retaken the Communist government rejoins the offensive. by week 4 of the advance the city of Epitus is in sight.

With the end near the citizens of Epitus not wanting to have to weather a siege, revolted, the revolt is quickly quelled however this allows USANS forces to push up to the city. Surrounding it.
