International Waters
245km from Fenwick TowerIn response to George Fenwick's refusal of the Countesian Ultimatum, the Federal Government of Countesia immediately and unanimously sanctioned a blockade against the Fenwick Foundations main base of operations, located in the the vast expanse of international waters. Such an advantageous location suited the slavers well as it gave their slaving raid teams access to the coastlines of many poorly defended nations and islands with little hinderance, allowing the organisation to amass an unthinkable amount of enslaved and innocent men, women and children. Until now.
With the approval of the taskforce, Countesian military command went wasted no time in kicking into overdrive, and within a few hours the first and third fleet had left their ports across the Countesian coastline and began their voyage to the stretch of sea where the Fenwick tower was located. Meeting them on the way was reinforcements from the Aurelian Fleet who had pledged their support to Countesia shortly after the ultimatum was issued, they would also be meeting up with elements of the fourth fleet, who had dispatched one third of their fleet from the overseas territories to join them. From Countesia alone, eighty two ships and three aircraft carriers carrying a total of sixty fighters would enforce the blockade which would attempt to halt, and if need be, neutralise any ship or aircraft attempting to reach the Fenwick tower. The primary goal of the task force would be to force the organisation to capitulate with a show of force, the secondary goal, should the first goal fail, would be doing it by force. Though officially the government maintained the promise that it would emancipate the slaves held by the Fenwick foundation at all costs.
Countesia had also made an announcement through its delegate in the AFAASA as to its plan to blockade Fenwick Tower, and hoped the other signatory nations would pledge forces.
