However, how exactly do you plan to enforce the Declaration? It’s a rough outline of mostly individual rights, and most violations of them aren’t necessarily violations of war crimes. Will you prosecute people that abolish private property in their nations, for example?

Furthermore, how exactly do you prosecute Declaration-violating leaders/people? If you abduct them to put them on trial you will be in conflict (and risk going to war) with the nation(s) involved, and if you require the leaders to be voluntarily handed over the organisation will in a very short period of time become corrupt and ineffective.

Your concern is valid. Currently, we are mainly focusing on liberating slaves, since that is the most serious problem in NationStates. Other than that, we will be keeping in watch on the ongoing wars, seeing if any war crimes, including torturing POWs, massacre/genocide to the citizens, and usage of weapons of mass destruction.

For the example you have mentioned, even the Soviet Union did allow the people to have some personal property, so I do not think that will happen in a good chance. If the property claim by the government is known for the government's own sake of corruption, we will start the investigation.

Once we have targeted, we will be sending a call to the criminal, asking them to participate on our investigation or taking a trial by our court. If it is ignored, we will consider the possibility and necessity to capture the person in military intervention. We have a crusader team for that sake.

Thank you for clarifying. I do appreciate the fact that you guys have a paramilitary and aren’t working with another alliance (that could be potentially disastrous for the ULO’s nonaligned stance) but the organisation still does risk conflict with other nations. There unfortunately isn’t a real “best” way to prosecute war criminals, so this current prosecution strategy will probably have to remain in place for the time being.

Do you wish to share any pieces of information about human-right offends with the ULIBOR?: The First Ekag Civil War in Ekag isn’t open to NS yet, but it is becoming increasingly chaotic and there are numerous accusations of war crimes, both against the government and against the EAGR (Ekag Anti-Government Rebellion, also simply referred to as the Rebellion). Some accusations against the government have been proven true. When the EAGR inevitably collapses into various factions due to ideological differences the bloodshed will prove to be much worse, so this must be limited as much as possible.

NOTE: In addition, I recommend you at least respect the Eghv Accords, which originally was a treaty banning the use of nuclear, biological, chemical, or radiological weapons and has since evolved into a general human rights treaty, which is why I haven’t finished it yet. It will be published some time after the First Ekag Civil War becomes public.
