At nightfall, after ensuring that government forces were at a safe distance, 6 UK bombers flew low over the Aumburan soldiers' camp to avoid radar detection.
After a certain distance, the bombers release napalm charges in the central area of the camp.
Radar detection fails to spot the planes, however multiple infantrymen and tanks spot the planes and yell for troops to take cover. All 3 stationed tanks fire multiple rounds at the 6 planes, although only a few seem to hit their target. Thanks to the fact that Aumburan troops had already began digging in, many troops are able to take cover in self-made foxholes and trenches, while others run to hide underneath tanks, or in nearby buildings. Many soldiers are caught off guard however, and the medical tent tending to wounded Amburans and wounded captured Romanics is directly hit, killing almost everyone inside. In total, 368 troops are wounded by the attack, and 210 are killed. Emergency helicopters fly in to evacuate wounded soldiers back to base camp, as well as transfer medical supplies. Of the 8,232 Aumburan aligned forces that initially controlled the camp before the attack, 7,870 remain healthy enough to continue fighting. The remaining troops dig in even more. Warning signals are sent out to other Aumburan squads, as Aumburan soldiers all around Romanic Imperium prepare for possible Napalm attacks. Aumbura advises that its allies do the same. At this time, 10 fighter jets are launched with the purposes of engaging with the planes that dropped the napalm. Aumburan warships also begin firing at the planes that dropped the napalm. Aumburan President Leland Friece also gives a statement a few hours after the attack, reffering to the use of napalm in war as a "sickening and inhumane practice akin to the use of twisted bio-chemical weapons in World War 1". He also accuses Hochster Stern der Morgenrote of having intentionally targeted the Aumburan medical tent.
One bomber is destroyed by Aumbura's tanks, another two are targeted by anti-aircraft munitions fired by the ships. The remaining aircraft each withdraw in opposite directions.
The body count is as follows: Two air officers killed and one possibly captured by enemy forces after a successful ejection.
The War Hall Committee and Strategy Commander, Her Regent Highness Princess Titania Van der Wiedermann claims that the use of high-efficiency weapons such as napalm and munitions and cluster bombs increase pressure against the enemy government to surrender, decreasing the number of casualties on both sides.
However, this type of ammunition will now be restricted to emergency situations.
