I also have an interesting issue effect result:

That means the Kovunanto Empire doesn't want a repeat of

to come out within their space. I find that to be silly. :lol2:

Late-war to post-war ex-Covenant rebel faction.

OOC: They won't come around until
very late in the Late phase of the war
deep within its own territory, and their colors are red and black, to which the Covenant hates not only for turning its backs on them, but also they hate them for turning against their Writ of Union so much, they can be considered their opposite, their alter ego: honorless, revolutionary but laissez-faire in a way (splinter) side of the Covenant in their post-Human-Covenant timeline, sometime before the battle of Reach and would continue well after the main conflict is over, a major contributor to the Great Schism event, mostly Jiralhanae, the ones that orchestrated it from a recent slow buildup rivalry with the Sangheili, but before they rose up prominently, they tend to lay low.

It wasn't introduced formally to us until long AFTER the release of Halo 5 with Halo Wars 2, in which we can see them, and fleshed out even more with the current messed up HALO: Infinite. Then you have other splinter factions that may or may not like each other's guts, further widened the Great Schism, and although they are weaker overall in terms of fleet power, unit numbers, and limited leadership variety, they can still pose a decent threat and have goals of their own, but are nowhere near as powerful as the real Covenant, trying as they might. They're hostile to both the Covenant and humanity alike, and don't care about anything other than "bloodsport and spoils", like they can do whatever they want. They can even ALLOW human and hunters alike from all over that have gone completely rogue, the way the Insurrectionists do, but their services from them are limited. Since they can do whatever they like, they DON'T care about the taboos from the Covenant, they represent everything against what the Covenant stood for, and will conquer everything in its way without restriction, albeit realistically with whatever FTL techs they got from the Covenant.

Speaking of religion faith-wise and goals-wise, they don't worship the gods and the Noble Prophets, they can and WILL abuse Forerunner techs and relics they encounter with no regard for the consequences, they can destroy holy worlds if they want to which will understandably anger Holy Guardians and whatever else deemed holy to them there, and can commit any form of crimes, from pillaging all the way up to annihilating a holy world with glassing beams unrestricted to them, and can even attack innocent worlds unprovoked. This can become a very serious problem even for non-participants and ex-participants alike very late in the war once they start showing up. They'll take whatever the real Covenant has abandoned, re-paint it to their own color scheme like what we saw with Fremenilia re-painting its ships as color camouflage, and use it for their own war effort.

In this timeline, the Banished when it's time to show up very late in the war will attempt to mimic and even become the new Black Empire of their own, the only key difference is that because they're atheist, they DON'T care about the concept of reality barriers that the Zodiac Order was meant to protect and watch over for dire crises, and if left unchecked, will definitely attempt to upset and anger everyone in their path, even innocents for a second Celestial Sundering which will definitely ruin the whole plot, time paradoxing it, and breaking the balance completely, and would take a liking to it for making them want to present a challenge to them. Heck, they DON'T even care about the concept of essentiality, time continuums, and anyone who dares to question or criticize them. They'll just flat out DESTROY anyone to sabotage their dreams, their purposes of existing, whatever. They will be remotely inspired by what they did, and want to become the new unstoppable force to be reckoned with. Their only two huge drawbacks though for balance purposes, is that they can't research new techs of their own or analyze anomalies, they have to steal techs and resources to unlock.

You can find out more through their official wiki entry here.

Halopedia - Banished

OOC: All right, looks like I have to force wrap up the battle with something nostalgic, a Warthog/Ghost Run. Your Dread Hunter as driver, Merlin as gunner, and whoever else as a side passenger, are to take the early-era Warthog, while Kaza, Jysa, and Veto will take three Ghosts and try to escape Gensokyo alive, because Gensokyo is collapsing due to the new rebel menace, codenamed G.U.M.I. (Gensokyo Ultranationalist Marauder Insurgents) And we only got 7 minutes to escape. Kovunanto will now have no choice but to leave with the glass shard, they'll wait for Kaza, Jysa, and Veto to arrive back at main base, and will then evacuate. Now the warp storms can be initiated.

Meanwhile, some Kovunanto aerial forces, some ground units here and there fighting against the new rebel forces along the route to your main base will be sent after your Warthog, so be careful when trying to hightail out of there in one piece. A route is already laid out and the smart AI (if any) will try to relay information as well.

This is called the "Mokou Run", named after Fujiwara no Mokou. It will be the first run in the entire Human-Kovunanto War. Road's already there in front from the get-go, then leave the road and head for the trees to dodge the Banshees. Optionally smash through Kovunanto forces and rebel forces on the ground. Cross the Road to Human Village directly south, and the main base should be dead ahead, all within 7 minutes.

For the Kovunanto side however, the three Ghosts (Jysa, Kaza, and Veto) start in the east side of the mansion grounds and attempt to hug along the west side of Youkai Forest to dodge and weave against ground vehicle fire and hostile aircraft trying to bring them down. Then follow the eastern edge of Misty Lake without making contact with shallow water, use the thick fog as cover until at the mountain base. Then, they must head straight into the canyon trails going northwest through Youkai Mountain until seeing the northern river. Once out of the canyon trails, jump over the natural slope with enough speed and glide down to make it, and then boost their way to the main base, all within 7 minutes.

Sorry folks, looks like Battle of Nirn is going to be likely due to the idiotic Insurrectionist uprising in Gensokyo. Bummer. Even with the amazing talk from St Ramona Savu, the whole point of the negotiations got nipped by the rebels' presence. And the Zodiac Order along with St Ramona Savu, is ALREADY at the destination of the new anomaly, at the Shrine of Heroes, but will be sleeping as well as meditating, awaiting new orders from the Kovunanto. It will become Battle 8.

Halopedia - Banished

I see. Well, the Banished can try to mimic and become the New Black Empire, but they don't even have the para/techs and thaumaturgies the actual Black Empire and the Void nations have. If anything, having the Banished attempt to mimic and become the New Black Empire is simply nothing more and less than a valid excuse for the actual Black Empire to send in their forces and enslave or outright exterminate the Banished.

Yep, the Black Empire does NOT fuck around, even when there's some Kovunanto splinter faction that wants to be a pale imitation of the Black Empire itself. All the gods will also be angry that the New Black Empire would do something that is unacceptable, even going as far as to consider the Black Empire - itself having also enslaved worlds and its peoples, oppressing those under its Imperial boots, committed a lot of crimes and even waging devastating wars just to spite the Heart-Holders- to be more structured and more organized than the pale imitation the Banished so wanted to attempt.

Oh, and by the way, Kovunanto, do you mind if we do the Battle of Gensokyo Part 2? Don't worry, the Battle of Gensokyo Part 2 is the continuation of the original Battle of Gensokyo (dubbed Battle of Gensokyo Part 1), the result of xenophobic, ultranationalistic, reactionary and nationalist Allied soldiers refusing to accept the results of the peace talks and the withdrawal order Grand Marshal Borealis III gave to the Allied expeditionary forces.

The reason I asked is because I want to have the Triumvirate fight the renegade Allied units aka GUMIs. Another reason is that I want to have Novaya, Saiyanese and Nova Roman forces already stationed at Earth-ANIME to help fight the GUMIs. Because Borealis III realized too late what happens when far-right extremists were present in the Allied Expeditionary Force to Gensokyo resulting in the peace talks now null and void, he'll actually take full responsibility for not having taking the far-right extremists into account.

If Remilia tells him that it is his rules that were the conditions for the talks, he'll also take full responsibility. He'll explain that he has only taken into account the Allies and the Kovunanto, but not far-right extremist Allied soldiers - he didn't know there were far-right extremist Allied soldiers until he gave the order for the Allied forces to withdraw. Fortunately, Remilia will recognize that he takes full responsibility for making the rules (as conditions for the talks) absolutely flawed by not taking into account the far-right extremist Allied soldiers. It is up to Remilia whether to tell Borealis III that it isn't his fault for not expecting the GUMIs to start causing trouble or tell him that he needs to be at least be more careful at what conditions (or rules) he will make for any talks.

If anything, Kovunanto, I don't mind having the Lucian Empire, Gensokyoites and Triumvirate Forces teaming up as the Coalition to fight against the GUMIs. This, however, will require Remilia to not drain both bases' power cores. The battle will require the GUMIs to be eliminated in order for the resumption of the peace talks.

This, however, will require Remilia to not drain both bases' power cores. The battle will require the GUMIs to be eliminated in order for the resumption of the peace talks.

OOC: That will be in my next IC post, but I will have almost no Kovunanto forces on the surface (except the fairy armies from Daze) around to deal with the rebels, and sadly St Ramona Savu and the Zodiac Order already left knowing they would get attacked and are whisked away. Lena will need to be taken back to her 20th century Italy so that she will live her normal life again now that she's cured of vampirism. Perhaps Sakuya will walk in and ask Remilia to stop,, and once she stops, all territories I had on the west side of Gensokyo including the mansion will be split accordingly. The draining damage cannot be undone, however. The self-termination of Gensokyo just means the Great Hakurei Barrier will be dissipated, which means the planet can then be scanned like normal, and will be revealed of its traits, and the possibility of a space battle. Since the Kovunanto will be leaving with the glass shard like a bye-bye, it's mine moment, it will become a mine, mine, mine! scene with the warp storm trying to stop the fleeing Kovunanto from escaping with the glass shard with coordinates already set for Nirn due to being tampered.

The Lucian Empire is gonna take a while to arrive to Gensokyo, because it still has to go through the long parliamentary process of whether to allow standing navies and armies to be re-activated again, and to let Lucian back in as a Planetary Advisor, as he's just reunited with his Empress and his peoples. I would say about two days best case or one week worst case. They won't attack you, as long as you don't provoke them or accidentally commit friendly fire, but they will make all her enemies new and old to pay, and are just as efficient, faithful and smart as you are with their unique, creative techs, and will work wonderfully. They will follow the standard rules of war. Their magic systems are as before Puella and Photon magics mostly. Once the rebels are down however, the Lucians won't garrison Gensokyo right away until whatever terms being set forth in the negotiations resumed are fully in effect, and the necessary terms must reach their Parliament, and will have to reach a two-thirds majority and signed in by the Empress one by one.

This will be a Part 2 for Gensokyo, but this time the Great Hakurei Barrier will finally be no more and vulnerable to being scanned and the possibility of a space battle, but as I haven't sent a Kovunanto vessel since long before the battle started, well, the only way now is to wait until there is one, and will only be just one ship to come in, nothing else. Only Remilia will do the talking once the rebel nonsense is over. If the Kovunanto can't escape somehow due to the warp storm, then they'll be forced to fight the rebels anyway until they die, and eventually, Daze, Kaza, Jysa, and Veto will unfortunately have to fight to the last stand, and that will accrue a +8% war exhaustion on top of the 12% total war exhaustion, so that'll be 20% already by the time we arrive at Nirn.

Have your characters notice the sudden and unexpected deployment of Triumvirate military units via portals to Gensokyo-WORLD, and ask Vice Admirals Ushanka and Pina on what is going on.

Okay.

Say, have you TG'd Kovunanto? I haven't gotten a reply from him even in TGs.

No. The was isn't actually over, but the Lucian Empire did returned unbeknownst to the Allied Forces, Novayan forces and the Zodiac Order.

However, Kovunanto hasn't posted for a long while.

If they don’t come back, do you want to do some other variant of the RP with us? I could create a puppet that’s basically Kovunanto?

I can create a variant of the RP, but the Human-Kovunanto War RP will and shall still be our main focus once Kovunanto comes back. Of course, this RP variant is essentially based on my ideas for the Middle Phase of the Human-Kovunanto War RP.

I can’t. I’m starting school soon so nearly certainly won’t be able to make high quality posts.
