While Gonswanza has considered chemical warfare in this conflict, the requests have been denied given overwhelming odds in our favor. But now with the active deployment of WMDs by a certain rogue nation, it appears we may have no other choice but to prepare for a rapidly escalating conflict that could easily go nuclear over what I doubt was a "simple mistake". Paired to an attempt at eco-terrorism, I'd suggest removing Zarnicovia Nova from KTO before they become an openly hostile liability to the future of KTO. That, or perhaps a binding agreement to BAR such extreme and irrational action when entering conflicts with other parties in order to keep our collective image intact."

These ships are already on open sea patrol, and would be redirected to use with the KTO. The only thing that would need to be provided are amphibious warfare vessels since the New Roman Imperium does not have any in its inventory.

Rep. Maximoff While I'd like to commend the gestures and movements made, I would also like to bring to the table a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for my fellow comrades in KTO. Gonswanza is seeking an AGL system with a list of requirements detailed below, though with the intent to form a STANAG series of standards, this system can effectively begin the process with a standard caliber for automatic grenade launchers, relying on the high-low system. The contest is still ongoing internally but no real developments or prototypes have been made yet, either due to technical difficulties or the fact that the arms companies in Gonswanza are already bloated with weapons contracts, unwilling to take another and risk destroying their efficiency.


Grenades:
Must be at least 40mm caliber (40mm x ???mm), using the high-low system, for high velocity. It must reach at least 250m/s in terms of muzzle velocity. And it must have a maximum effective range of at least 2,500 meters to outrange any known AGL systems present, including hostile systems that enemies of the KTO may use to attack KTO members or KTO troops in interventions.

Optic:
The advanced optic must enable the weapon to achieve such a maximum effective range, if not reach beyond that, for extreme indirect fire applications as a form of mortar. It must have some night vision or thermal capacity, which can be enabled or disabled at will, for all-weather operations under almost any conditions that may present themselves on the battlefield. It must also have a rangefinder and a system that enables one to program the ammunition being fired so that smart rounds can engage the target efficiently per operator input. Above all else, accuracy and first hit probability are a must along with ease of use, reliability, and compactness.

Weapon:
The weapons system must be man-portable (in parts, via a group of infantry carrying individual components) with a fast setup and takedown time, along with reliability in extreme conditions and the ability to be mounted onto vehicles and remote weapons stations as well. Adding to that, there are demands for the system to be able to hit a man-sized target at 2,000 meters, along with having it be easy to maintain and produce.[/table]

Rep. Maximoff: "IHC might attempt to justify GENA's actions, despite the two working against ZN on their own agenda. Adding to that, it's also likely that the dirty bomb was planted by GENA agents, using AZNUP as a cover for their failed attempt to destabilize Japania. Given the rapid shift in political views, it no longer seems reasonable that AZNUP is entirely behind the attacks, save for the assassination which was cleverly planned. That said, I also suspect that IHC would also attempt to probe into the attacks, despite it being purely within Japania's sphere of expertise and importance. IHC has far bigger problems to deal with, obviously."

Maximoff almost seems annoyed by this turn of events, and while he would have drafted an article in response, it would effectively kill a military response. Hence, he decides to retract the thought.
