After years of strife, some nations have had enough. They are tired of endless wars. They don’t want to keep having the same arguments over and over again. The world wants peace. The world wants stability. The world wants to talk about something positive for once.

Hosted in the ever hospitable Sicily, the “Saving Diplomacy Summit” (as it has been dubbed by the press) seeks to codify some kind of agreement that prevents endless wars, protects national sovereignty, and stops alliances from becoming too powerful or abusing their influence. Nations and leaders are asked to put politics aside to hammer out a simple agreement. Attendees are expected to stay as apolitical as possible and to be cordial (perhaps even nice!) to one another for the sake of the people of the world.

Concerns of the Nation: The morale of the military potentially plummeting during the invasion of the Galapagos, collapsing in a nuclear war due to inadequate missile defense systems, the domestic front getting out of control due to the unpopularity of the war, getting surviving troops in the Mediterranean and Middle East back home, restoring political order in the country, preventing an economic collapse from mass protests and lack of investment, and stopping an insurgency in the northern mountains, that was formed as an attempt at ensuring that no nukes are launched in the area.

As for concerns that don't involve Sealand falling apart, it wants the Galapagos to remain somewhat powerful, so that Sealand can keep a strong trading partner, but it wants Malta to be independent with it's pre-occupation government, which will be guaranteed by the Galapagos, IHS, Sealand and any other country interested in the region. The Galapagos is to sign a NAP with IHS, and will pay some reparations, but not so much that the Galapagos becomes yet another hostile dictatorship. No occupation of the Galapagos should take place, and Cyprus could become independent if it has to in order to ensure peace. If so, then Cyprus would go through the same fate as Malta.

Concerns of the Nation: Muqaddasia believes that Galapagos has crossed too many red lines, and that this time was the last straw. Muqaddasia wants at the least for Galapagos to be demilitarised and all it’s WMDs destroyed, and at the most for Galapagos to be split into several nations.
