Preparations begun for the up-and-coming invasion of the Roman territory. The promised warships and troops crossed the Black Sea, went through the Bosporus and then the Dardenelles, only stopping resupplying at a neutral port in Eastern Anatolia. They arrived at the eastern coast of the Greek peninsula, and searched for potential enemies. After all, why wouldn't they secure a relatively important area of their imperium? Upon seeing a few units of the Romans' navy, they began their attack. The Varyag, one of the promised Slava class cruisers, was able to sink quite a few of the enemy ships while MiG-31 interceptor aircraft rained Kh-31 missiles on their targets.

Instead of immediately advancing and risking high casualties, they retreated back towards eastern Anatolia, firing their arms in the direction of the Romans. The aircraft passed overhead, searching for hostiles, as they resupplied at the city of Van. Vice-Admiral Nikolai Voroshilov sent out a message to other Russian forces and their monarchist allies, calling for several officers to meet at Akmola to further discuss strategies. A similar request was sent to those allied with the Fulmen Coalition, asking for a temporary ceasefire and alliance to help weaken communist and government forces.

The Russians have arrived in monarchist territory, convoys of BMP-3s and other armoured vehicles advance through the streets guided by marching soldiers. KamAZ-43501 light cargo trucks containing various arms are unloaded and presented to their allies. Other high-value cargo, like rations, are hauled by low-ranking men.

Kliment Smirnitsky, along with some aircraft and other vehicles, are expected to arrive soon. In the meantime, an officer bearing the rank of Mladshiy leytenant approaches a high-ranking Visegradian officer, papers in hand.

"I'd like you to direct me to..." the young officer stutters a bit, pulling a small and torn piece of paper from his pocket "...Emperor Philip II of Savoy. I have a message from General mayor Smirnitsky."

Aceepted Welcome to the DMZ if you want those documents you're gonna to have to look in the high-risk areas you can make your way into the area through Station E-49 which is safer or be a bit riskier and drop somewhere random

My rules for weapons like G11 is that 1. It has to have a existing prototype and 2. It had to go through trials 3. And pictures of it exists

So Yeah you can bring the G11 however expect caseless ammo and other special ammo to be expensive.

As for body armor and systems you gotta show me what it is and if it saw service even if it saw limited use I may allow it as for the ARC4 apparently it’s in use with some special forces so I’ll allow however careful not show off to much as someone might want to steal it

Lakan intelligence is interested in acquiring some of the advanced technologies the Zone might me holding as well as in trying to get the artifacts. Their uses will be… Complicated because the intelligence agency that’s doing it is the Lakan IRS which is a gargantuan entity feared across all colonies.

Appearance: Looks like an average-looking Lakan is his mid 20’s- a well-looking lad who keeps his brown mustache in surprisingly good shape for a soldier.
Reason for coming here: Volunteered for combat duty out of beliefs that it might secure him a promotion to upper levels of the IRS. Being a squad’ radioman, he is planning on eventual promotion to the SIGINT branch.

equipment list: Same as above, except for the backpack. Being a radioman, he is tasked with essentially maintaining their unit’ safety and providing them all of the data they can gather- thus he is equipped with a gargantuan, extremely old-fashioned looking AN/PRC-117 dereviative modified to allow for some ELINT capabilities (in very basic terms it can “listen in” on some military-grade radios that use outdated encryption systems), some ECM or ECCM capabilities but most importantly it can be used to remotely detonate certain EOD’s or mines- although it’s not really effective at that role. Due to this abomination of a device, Bernard doesn’t carry any food or water in his manpack- neither is he carrying 10 magazines for his rifle- he has “only” 8 in total (and no tracer magazine).

Country of origin: United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland (British citizen serving in Laka)
Appearance: Looks like your usual Bri’ish nobility- a jolly good looking, yet somewhat pale face, teeth that are way better than the Americans imagine them and a bloody well-maintained brown hair, tucked into a bun per regulations.
Reason for coming here: Birmingham is a worse place than this As nearly everyone, orders. Sole person in the squad with no actual combat experience- albeit she has treated some actual wounds in fields when live-fire training went wrong. Attached here because of her experience with CRBN-related incidents as well as exemplary records regarding interrogation and psychological/psychiatric support for friendly soldiers.

Country of origin: Laka
Appearance: A Russian in his early 30’s- is rather tall even by local means, has his dark-black hair trimmed very short, has a few scars on his face which are a result of him attempting to befriend his previous CO cat.
Reason for being here: Orders, was chosen because of his experience regarding CRBN threats as well as his and his dog’s good service record.
Equipment: Standard equipment, also carries food for the dog, some toys for him to play around with, dog whistle, and generally dog handling equipment as well as some veterinary stuff- to supplement the corpsman.

Character name: Zhelvak
Country of origin: Laka
Appearance: Zhelvak is a very good-looking 6-year-old German Shepherd, who has been genetically modified to increase his mental and physical capabilities. Despite this, he looks like your average dog.
Reason for being here: Zhelvak’s mental abilities exceed those of a normal dog, with the researchers placing him somewhere around a Chimpanzee or a Bonobo. Able to make simple (VERY SIMPLE) tools, figure out some complex (for an animal) tasks and capable of basic logic and reason he makes for a very worthwhile addition to the group. Is very loyal do his handler, primarily because of him being nice to Zhelvak. Due to his intelligence is fully aware of the dreaded fate that might him and this sometimes overreacts, pointing towards supposed threat if it’s any suspicious sounds/movement.
Name: Cherie MacLaud
Country of Origin: Goldkust, serves in the local IRS branch
Appearance: Looks like an average Boer gal at the top moment of her life- almost always smiling and laughing, treating everything around her with a smile on her face. One of the few members of the group whose looks are out of regulations- she HATES hairbuns and because of her current CO not making a nuisance out of it doesn’t care about it this much, letting her blond, shoulder-long hair flow freely.. That is until combat comes of course!
Reason for being here: Orders, was chosen because of her good aiming skills with the Third Arm’ed LMG, especially in close and mid-ranged firefights and good CRBN training results.
Equipment: Doest not carry a HK G11 instead is equipped with an LSAT LMG, coming with a 3x daytime, secondary collimating and thermal scopes, as well as 2x 100-round magazines and a single spare barrel. Said LSAT is mounted on a Third Arm Weapons Interface System, which largely negates the weight of the machine gun, allowing her to be nearly as mobile as the rest of the group.

Country of origin: same as above
Appearance: pretty much the “male version” of his older sister, although he is a bit taller and more tanned than her- spent more time serving at sunny home, eh. Hair within regulations, surprisingly.
Reasons for being here: Orders, has been an assistant machine gunner of his sister ever since her previous one got transferred to desk job, does fairly good at his job.
Equipment: Standard equipment, also carries 4 spare 100-round mags and 5 replacement barrels as well as the instruments needed to maintain and repair the LMG.
Name: Herbert Isvraberry
Country of origin: Laka
Appearance: Surprisingly short for a Lakan, he makes up for his height with a very fancy (especially by local standards) face, which one might describe as “very cute”. Shaves completely bald because “it’s simpler”.
Reasons for being here: Well, they needed someone strong enough, capable of hauling Carl Gustaf over dozens upon dozens of kilometers, then bringing the extremely cumbersome rocket launcher to combat in a very swift way- and this fine young lad fits all of the requirements. Plus, he’s very proficient with survival skills- growing up in the prairie of Eastern Laka and all… He knows his ways to find a place to sleep, something to eat and something to stay warm!
Name: Isabella Carter
Appearance: The only member of the group with colored hair, she dyes it purple because she can and regulations do not forbid it. Otherwise looks like your normal Lakan woman in her mid 20’s
Reason for being here: Orders, she was chosen because of her exceptional endurance, just like the Carl Gustaf operator
Equipment: Standard Equipment, minus half of the rifle magazines- she needs to carry the rounds for the Carl Gustaf, a lot of them…

Name: Izumi Akinori
Appearance: a Japanese man who always looks as if he is thinking about something eternal, something philosophical. In fact he is simply,y dreaming of good food- he is a good cook himself and certainly knows when he’s in for a treat!
Reasons for being here: Orders, done very well in CRBN training, has shown good endurance results in tests, is fairly experienced with survival techniques and skills
Equipment: Is a rifleman, carries standard equipment.

Appearance: Looks as if she came right from a 80’s Japanese TV show about schoolgirls fighting the forces of evil using recoiled rifles, LAW’s and yo-yos! Sometimes even applies makeup to look for the occasion- such a pity that they haven’t invented one able to resist blood and mud of the battlefield yet…

Appearance: If not for her job, you could’ve easily called her “a little bit overweight”, however in her case that’s really a “wide bone”. Generally, looks and even behaves like you’d expect as someone from Texas, however she’s never quite been there…
Reason: Is a marksman and a fairly good one, does well in endurance training, often thinks “outside of the box”
Equipment: Like others but instead of the G11 is equipped with a 7,62 M39 EMR- scopes and rails all standard. Is also equipped with an infrared binoculars and other standard marksman equipment.

Name: Mark Forster
Appearance: Despite his very English-sounding name, Mark is a black man in his mid 20’s, always trying his best to look to the image of a Lakan grenadier. Despite being black, he is a proud Scotsman and Lord have mercy on anyone who says else…

Equipment: Standard, except for the fact that he carries some dapper equipment- a magnetic mine detector, a couple of satchel charges, some C-4 bricks with detonators and two single-use flamethrowers.

Accepted can't wait to see the shenanigans they will get into gonna feel bad for the Radioman as they ain't much use for it in terms of detonating EODs or radio mines as the landmines here are the classic step to detonate. anyways you can make your appearance either in E-49 which is one of the largest safe zones in the junkyard and starting point for newcomers or you can risk it for the biscuit and fly yourself in somewhere random.
