[World of Krieg]

More colonists of the Imperium were starting to populate Krieg’s territories. Krieg began to finally reopen lines for any diplomacy. Krieg was ceasing its aggression for the most part, however keeping all of its defenses on high alert. More of the heavily guarded crates were arriving in Beijing. All Krieg officers in the territory were brought to a heavily guarded area for a conference discussing potential issues, logistics, and other things, mostly involving the military. Some non-Krieg were there, including Elias Hail of the Cadians, who were in joint-control of Krieg-controlled China.

[Gonswanza]

Even with wars waged elsewhere, Gonswanzans mobilize, making a massive push for California. However, the remnants of the 7th were found, as destroyers and submarines move to engage in defense of the massed invasion force. A proper battle has begun, north of Hawaii, partway to California.

Gangut class, Oscar class and Victor class subs converge on the reports of torpedo launches and later AShM launches, while destroyers deploy Shark UUVs while missile defenses light up the area. Aircraft are deployed, joining the hunt, while panicked radio callouts are made.

The anarchy raised is only added by a whole mess of angry submarines, dueling under the waves, as Monsoons in an entirely different sector soon come upon the submarine tenders trying to escape and engage swiftly without mercy. Yet, the defense of the fleet was dire, the skies turn into a swarm of contrails and aircraft, attempting to intercept the missiles with anti-missile defenses and soon CIWS fire joining them. The scene is almost akin to a Top Gun film, J-105s, and J-102Cs dueling against the clock, using their radar to find and kill the anti-ship missiles like knights of the sky.

And on this day there were many shootdowns and sacrifices made.

Two Typhoon class destroyers were struck and sunk, a necessary sacrifice for the carrier. The losses piled up, but the survivors were saved by passing crews of Z-9s and search and rescue aircraft from the very carrier they swore to defend. None of the missiles did hit, though the last of the 7th was destroyed at sea, far from home. Their tenders were also shelled as well, almost in retribution for the desperate strike.

Five J-102Cs however were also taken out, the pilots had managed to intercept five AShMs themselves before going out with a bang. None of the pilots survived, yet, post-mortem, they would be awarded as heroes. In fact, they and the crews of the two destroyers were also given praise and high honors for their efforts, as footage from the battle soon arises with the full extent of radio callouts, split off into radio chatter from AWACS, from the aircraft, and from the fleet.

And yet, this was only the beginning of what will become true hell for the forces bearing upon the states.

Elsewhere, dissent arises in Sri Lanka and in Hawaii, mostly the former as protests increase. In Hawaii however, there's dissent from the non-Gonswanzan population, which is easily cut down via the quickest, simplest method around: culling the masses. Arrests are soon made, while the peacemakers present try to hide the localized massacres from the leering eyes of the underground press.

Indus Valley

The repositioning of 6 Whole legions into the valley had made for some tense cross-border excitement. While no shots were fired, orbital positions indicated that the Kriegers and the Imperium of Man as a whole were backing off from Vietnam. With that taking place, reports of a few lost fighters elsewhere in a separate incident were less troublesome. The major issue for now finding a populace to live in the territory of Persia and expanding the colonies in the Congo Jungles and the Atlantic Ocean.

In the meantime, the Iaso Carrier began drifting back upwards out of the atmosphere removing the immediate threat of invasion into India.

Venusian Landfall

The first boots on the Venusian soil were belonging to a relatively young Zahe'Mri Kel'en. They were a part of an advanced unit of the 2nd Army of Sol sent to start establishing the Venusian Groves that would support a full planet of Xanthiri in this Sol System. In the skies above, the Fleet gifted to the Territory by the crown was on its way as was the resident Royal Family member. She would preside over Venus and any other worlds which were integrated into the territories of Governess Irys. The two of them would function similarly to the Crown and the Senate on the homeworld providing a sort of balance where the Governess carries out the Princess's orders to the best of the nation's ability.

The large fleet immediately began deploying orbital infrastructure and additional shipyards. At the core of the fleet, was the Princess's flagship. The Netherax Nightmare was a massive Ath'ma'ai Mri'jir Class Command Ship designed to act as a mobile command citadel and warship while providing docking and repairs for smaller vessels.

Yorischa Juneschen wins the position of People's Marshal

In nearly 3 weeks after the ballots are open, the PCEC has announced that the last party member has submitted their vote. The winner of the elections are to be announced by 12:00 afternoon. Based on the recent survey, majority wanted to continue opposing the GCN empire, fight against the growing numbers of slavery, and spread socialist internationalism through a revolutionary liberation. As such, when the Fort Kalinka Clock Tower strikes 12, the public announcement systems placed around Kalingrad announces the People's Marshal. As it turns out, the election databases stated that its Yorischa Juneschen that won the position. She won 39% of the votes, followed by Lemska Hinyaruva who gained 28% votes. This is followed up by 11% votes from Ilyumavisch Resusche and 4% to Pirmuya Eomarie. The remaning votes goes out to the 4 remaining candidates.

Yorischa advocates for lesser dependency on foreign imports, strengthen Janpia's stance against slavery, and destroy the GCN through "unconventional" means. She also seeks to reform the Revolutionary Forces by organizing military experiences and applying it to the doctrines. Furthermore, she promises to continue Karmiya's policies, and to extend the Janpian economic development known as "the miracle of the Munchen River". This can be done by her 8-point economic agenda, establishing more railway lines, more government overseers on the unions, and a reformed central planning committee on the Ministry of Economy and Trade (MEAT). On the international note, she stated that the Janpian Union must increase their presence on the KTO, and continue Karmiya's policy of containment against the GCN. She stated that Karmiya's containment has been successful on defending pro-democratic states and respecting the integrity of various alliances.

The WOSDRT has introduced new tank ammo for Modern Battle Tanks it’s more or less a improvement over the Gamba-1 and Mango-1 shells. Designation for APFSDS is TAP-BM6 and the HEAT-FS is designated as 113P. Improvements made were a larger charge allowing it to reach higher velocity and to be able to fire from longer distance and a penetrator made up of depleted DMR-51, Depleted Uranium, and TU-556-2 allows it to penetrate both ERA, NERA, and composite armor.

The WOSDRT will produce the ammo in any caliber to the buyer’s liking however these will only be available to KTO members. However that’s not the only KTO-exclusive item out there another piece of tank equipment is the NOD-1 ERA that can prevent both APFSDS and HEAT-FS from penetrating the hull it works by using shape charges to cut up and destroy the projectile however because APFSDS is traveling at a fast pace and there only so little damage could be done behind the charges there is a set of composite armor plates that will help absorb of what’s left of the remaining APFSDS rod the system components can be easily replaced making installation less of a hassle.

The High Prophets consisting of Velia, Rouya, and Chaya make the smartest move ever yet with such precision, at 03:43 local time, announcing an indefinite extension to the First Age of Revelation until all their goals are completed, or utter failure. Sitting on their thrones as usual, despite not making sufficient progress to achieve what they really wanted so quickly in the first couple of weeks into the galactic conflict, High Prophet of Velia (Veil) makes two decrees. One to extend the Age of Revelation for an indefinite period, and the second, to shut all borders, hyperlane access, and gateway access if any within Kovunanto space to all their enemies and neutral worlds except their allies, if any.

High Prophet of Velia: "Today, of all days within the Sanctum of the Oracle, to all the inhabitants of this holy city, hear now and obey! While we have made some milestones throughout our journey, our crusade against the humans, we are not finished, and never will be until we seek what we want to seek. Our current Age has surpassed twenty-eight cycles, and with our continuing confidence that we shall continue marching onward without rest, I decreed that this Age of Revelation shall be extended indefinitely with no end date!"

The crowd roars in delight, even the Holy Council on one side and the Jiralhanae Guard on the other side chuckles with arms crossed as usual, then followed by silence.

High Prophet of Velia: "Now, as far as progress in our journey is concerned, for far too long, have we allowed the interlopers and would-be adventurers seeking their own fantasies of lust, greed, and pride, all the while with increasing frequency and their vileful ways of seeking us out, to put an end to our mighty ships, an end to our Holy Trinity faith, and an end to us all, will NOT be tolerated while we still rule our own space! The crowd once again roars ever ecstatically, jumping up and down their seats, before chanting the motto of the nation in alien tongues.

The Kovunanto State News makes no comment to avoid drawing out unwanted social media attention from now on, and the Kovunanto Battle Net after having its communications back online after a hacking attempt by malfunctioned Huragok AI units, are already undergoing a serious overhaul in security upgrades. All space entry borders to Kovunanto are now shut indefinitely, trespassers will be shot, survivors will be shot again.

Krieg was keeping its military at full efficiency and keeping it fully prepared, while also preparing to begin to be diplomatic. Krieg was still building defenses in each of its territories, bringing more and more colonists in to keep the areas populated. Guardsmen were especially paranoid from a transmission they had gotten about a potential terrorist attack from remaining resistance. Krieg was potentially going to begin an embassy program.

A few more days pass. The US has yet to recover from Cyber Eagle while the Gonswanzan fleet soon bears down upon them. The landings begin rather quickly... With the first wave of cruise missiles launched long before the Monsoons get within range, hammering down utilities and airports in the San Franciso area and Los Angeles area. Gonswanzan forces also push into San Diego as well, given the fleet had split off into three groups to try to take areas along the west coast in Cali. Once the landing operations are complete with heavy resistance, calls are made for more forces to follow. California was now under attack, with TU-160s flying over to deliver thermobaric weapons against dimly lit cities, the only light being that of the day or the fires by night, with the added fireballs from explosive ordinance and incendiaries being used.

Monsoon class destroyers also add to the engagement, while Kashmir and Trumpet tanks roll out to cover for Sword APCs. Fast attack craft soon attempts to crawl up any rivers or canals, mowing down confused and scattered civilians and resistance fighters, as the Gonswanzans make their presence known.

Given the practical destruction of the grid and comms, the rest of the US was unaware, though they were also too busy dealing with riots and mass anarchy, but HAM radios set up by civilians helped the news slowly spread, as a more proper invasion of the US has begun.

Back in Gonswanza, Laura Ortiz is practically delighted by this turn of events, even having a toast to the "beginning of the end of the American empire!"

Oh, if only she knew about the hell that was to come.

East Coast, North America

Flying low and fast, a series of dropships, bombers, and fighters fly towards the Eastern United States. Already, the nation is under assault on its west coast by Gonswanza. With the losses suffered to the Gonswanzan forces, Governess Irys was tasked by the new Princess to arrive in system with collecting slaves from Earth for projects in various parts of the new territories, including off-world. With these orders, a Battalion of mixed Zahe'Mri and Yin'Mri were deployed from raider forces to capture and carry away as many people from the distracted nation in North America. The strike was timed to take place around 6:30 eastern time when many people were out of work and the young and fit would be going to the gym to 'get swole' and meet their 'swolemates' as it seemed to be the case.

Targeting primarily these individuals with the raid, the raiders were also ordered to abduct anyone near the gyms be they in the parking lot or just watching nearby. At exactly 6:29pm, the fighters hit their engagement zones. 507 CFA-77 fighters broke from the dropship formations and rose into the sky. They immediately were warned of air-defense target locks as well as several enemy fighter squadrons being vectored towards them. Before long, missiles were streaking out from the fighters towards the opposing fighters, the mass signatures of the air defenses and towards various vessels off the coast that could be military vessels. A whole 104 of the fighters had been directed further north, towards what was known as Chesapeake Bay. Their primary objective was to cause as much damage to military infrastructure and combat aircraft and naval vessels as they could before withdrawing into orbit again.

The raid target was coastal communities between Wilmington and Charleston. It took only moments for the first downed opposing aircraft to be reported. Returning fire was mostly ineffective, occasionally a fighter would be hit twice and the shields wouldn't have regenerated in time. After the first volleys are exchanged about 45 American and 4 Xanthiri aircraft were downed. With the skies lighting up the dropships and bombers make their move. The bombers released their missiles. While there were only 13 of the bombers, it quickly became apparent how well armed the bombers were. Each initially released 3 missiles which flew off towards military targets and targets further inland than the coastal region. Nearer to the coast, and fired second, OSMPTs, Orbit to Surface Multitarget Plasma Torpedoes, were released four at a time until each of the 13 bombers released 26 of them. The weapons split into 10 smaller munitions and dove down on their targets at a right angle.

By the time the first bomber was targeted by an opposing F-22, the damage was done. A trio of radar guided air-to-air missiles and a ship-launched missile all impacted one of the bombers, cracking its shields after the air-to-air missiles. The detonations in the distance spoke of the horrors of what a raid could be. With only 13 bombers, 3 planet-class AM missiles each, the 39 shielded missiles finally reached their targets. Targeting military facilities at the top priority and industrial centers at the bottom, 39 bright explosions rocked the area from North Florida to Southern Virginia. Each of the planet class missiles detonated with 4.3 Mt of power turning their targets into a blasted and ionized wasteland. To make matters worse, the various OSMPT targets began being hit, troop formations, vital infrastructure, naval yards, simple shipyards and dockyards were also on the target list. These smaller weapons detonated with amber colored plasma blasts with 5 kt yields.

The people in the region would be put into a panic and start fleeing towards safer places as they saw the explosions near or in the distance. The final stage was underway while combat swirled around in the air above. The dropships began landing across the region, Kel'ein jumping out and shooting anyone who looked like they may be armed. Forcing many people into the dropships after they land, the warriors of the Imperial Navy were effective and within fifteen minutes of the troops hitting the ground, they had all left. Behind them the raid left not but burning cities, destroyed bases, wrecked ports, and dead bodies. The final tally was reported over the shortwave to the American Central command still trying to operate at the time.

With the numbers limping in over the course of the next few hours and days the military took a major hit. Facilities up and down the East Coast were damaged or destroyed. The Shipyards at Norfolk took a beating from the northern strike from the raid force. It seemed that any static position was hit by at least one missile. Eventually the numbers came out:

Fighter Craft Lost: 345, including many F-22 and F-35s along with their pilots
Naval forces: 3 Carriers, 21 Missile Cruisers, 11 Destroyers, and many smaller boats both naval and coast guard
Around 120,000 service members many on the bases hit by the AM missiles
Civilian Losses: ~380,000 dead, 400,000 missing (250,000 confirmed abducted)

On the raider side there were a few losses that were confirmed by the Americans

Aftermath of the Raid

The dropships, bombers, and fighters make it about 30 miles offshore before they enter a rising Nidhoggur Carrier to transport the raid force and newly captured slaves to their destination. First stop would be the Persian territories where about 100,000 captives are dropped off and the carrier is having supplies loaded up from the mining facilities in the region in preparation for its final destination, the newly terraformed Venus.

If you're very lucky

As the Gonswanzan war machine storms west, along with the Nuxipali bombers screaming to the east, the Janpian submarines lurks along the Atlantic. With most of the US systems and communications inoperable, they simply sailed underneath the US sonar nets undetected. They sailed through the American territory, with no naval forces to oppose them. In a complete radio silence, they clear their path towards the American shores. As the submarines travel for nearly 5 hours, one of the crew manning the periscopes laughs in joy, seeing the lingering bright lights of New York on the horizon. He went on to report it to the captain, who then pinged the rest of the submarines lurking beneath the periscope depth.

"Liboriv! Get me my navy wine! We have reached the new world! Our Klabautermann has guided us! Tell the command that we are in our destined absolute bearing. Awaiting orders.

As the submarine crews celebrate without intrusion of the US navy, the 44th, 86th, 12th, and 15th Naval detachment of the Magochyo Fleet comes in range. They set out Hisshin jet fighters, effectively bringing the largest air formation the Revolutionary Airforce has came up with. Their objectives is to finish the remaining defenses and military infrastructure of the US east coast, and gain aerial superiority. They set out for Washington, Baltimore, Philadelphia, New York, and minor targets at Wilmington and installations at Delaware. F-22s were dispatched to ward them, but they are outnumbered, and outgunned by the Hisshin Jets. Sure, the F-22 has the maneuver advantage against the Hisshins, but the Hisshins is a bit faster and has much more payload than the F-22s. Upon reaching in range, the squadron of F-22s launched a barrage of AIM-120 AMRAAM missiles, completely striking down 2 of the nearest aircrafts away from them. A few missiles were warded off by the jet's DIRCMs. Though with the F-22 firing, this has opened their radar signature locations, enabling the Hisshin fighters to fire a hail fire of missiles towards it, flooding the F-22's systems and defense countermeasures. The Hisshins then deployed chaff, completely deadening the radars and their signatures.

In just 3 hours after being launched from the carriers, the Hisshin radar systemizes its range, telling the pilots that they have reached the range of attack. As such, the jets launched their guided missiles towards their targets. With the jet's stealth capabilities, it would be hard for one to fire back with a simple MANPAD. Fuel stations were obliterated to a burning hell, convoys of MRAPs and tanks were swept, and military bases structures were bombed. On the ground, one can see a gliding missile, routing itself to its targets. US social medias were flooded with videos of flying missiles overhead them, prior to a nearby sound of explosion rocking in the horizon. Government structures such as the Pentagon, US Capitol, the White House, the Treasury Building were also the prime targets of the 15th Air Fleet. As such, incendiary loaded missiles were launched towards it. Phalanx CIWS and LaWS tries to overcome such problems, but its just a minor resistance compared to the red rain hurtling towards them. As such, the White House itself has been bombed, the Pentagon has been neutralized, and the US Capitol has been rocked. For the first time since the war of the 1812, the White House burns once again. The President's status is still unclear. As the Hisshins finished their payload, they fly back to the carriers to refuel and prepare for another sortie. On their way back, they dropped off their last remaining payload to the Wilmington and Delaware.

Then what comes next is the inevitable. A group of transport planes flies over the skies of the rubbled cities of Newark and Philadelphia. Hundreds of paratroopers blocks out the skies, as they parachute towards the skyscrapers and landing zones. Landed squads secures the position, as it fends the zone from the arriving ACVs and IFVs. Landings were launched at the end of the Long Island, staging a new front to the embattled American republics. Attack helicopters zooms into the air, as it tries to regain the air from the national guards, who fought back with MANPADs and SAMs. Meanwhile, the city of Newark and Jersey has been secured, and is now overlooking the New York skyline and Brooklyn. Tanks began pouring down, as small squads of revolutionaries fires against incoming National guards, who are now broken by the chain of command. Public panic engulfs the cities, as gunshots welcomes their day.

Initial advances have slowed, unsurprisingly. It was hell in the west, urban warfare taking its toll, with combat ripping into the cities. more forces are thrown over via aircraft, more supplies too, as civilians and soldiers alike were mowed down in a frenzy of fire. Kashmirs engage with Abrams in the streets, dueling, though the latter take on far more losses than the former, especially from flanking maneuvers and superior armor and armament. High above, F-22s and F-16s dance with F-35s against J-102Cs and J-105s, though they are soon joined by MIG-31s and MIG-25s delivered via Z-9 container ships to captured airfields, which were hastily repaired.

The cities will burn day and night, as the war continues to grip the west coast, the east coast now under siege as well.

In Hawaii, growing unrest reaches a fever pitch, with marshal law soon coming into effect. In Sri Lanka similar measures are made, almost as a drastic and desperate move to try to control the situation. Tensions are running hot in these two occupied regions.

Broadcasts were made, across a range of civilian and military frequencies. They would doubtless be jammed, but at least some Imperial Citizens could hear them if they so chose.

The Imperium of Man is based on a series of lies.

The lie is simple: that the suffering, drudgery, and fear the common citizen experiences daily is the natural roll of history, and that the less common citizen, he blessed by coincidence or talent, is obligated to continue torturing and oppressing others. These are lies, as can be evidently seen by the existence of societies where this is not the norm.

Moreover, it is not true that you owe the Imperium to suffer, or to torture others. Neither of these are a necessity. Other nations exist where the food is healthy, where your children can play in the sun.

Are you a mutant? Then it is not necessary for you to huddle in terror of the next pogrom. We will welcome you.

Are you a regular human? Then it is not necessary for you to labor for eighteen hours a day and live your life in constant terror. We will welcome you.

Does your family have a psyker child? You do not have to send them off with the Black Ships. We will welcome you.

Are you a combat transhuman? You do not need to continue living a life where your heroism goes unrewarded and unthanked.

The doors of the Free Kingdom are open to refugees.

Those who defect to us with Imperial technology or historic items from the Imperium's old eras will be further substantially rewarded.

[World of Krieg]

Krieg has changed the purpose of some of its factories in India and China toward building cruisers similar to the Zumwalt-Class, selling these cruisers to the United States to make money while also staying out of the war. It was also building F35s, A10s, B2s, and more aircraft to sell to America, and various weapons including the M4A1, and tanks like the Abrams. It was building submarines like the USN Ohio as well to give to America. The person in charge of Krieg armies on Earth, Captain Hans Lanok, refused to give any statements about this. It was giving Ticonderogas as well, going mostly by data taken from the former Chinese government's espionage. Upon realizing they can't get the ships there, they transport troops to Florida via dropship, their mission being to find the President to exfiltrate him.

Venusian Advancement

The establishment of a capital near the southern pole of the planet to maximize the variety in light between day and night sides due to the slow Venusian day cycle compared to its orbital period. The palace was constructed directly on the pole itself, a vast and lavish complex at the very heart of the city spanning enough area for parts of it to be cloaked in darkness while the daylight shines on the opposite side of just this one megastructure. Around it, in a nearly perfect circular pattern the city was laid out. Businesses that signed up, homes, factories, schools, health care facilities, public transit, and much more; all of the essentials for a functioning city pre-built for the colonists who would be arriving to fill the streets of the new city.

As soon as the palace itself was completed, Princess Aoife d'Ath had arrived. She wished to establish herself in the palace and have guard rotations put in place before any civilians arrived. The city itself was impressive in size and the presence of the Naval fleets nearby also provided a greater defensive position. The first thing the young Princess did was send a request for one of the might Tlaloc Battle stations to be gifted to her. These humans had been captured exclusively from the US east Coast only a day or so before and were primarily from the 'buildings with purple planets' and many of the men were known as 'gym bros' before being given new assignments and slowly being dispersed throughout the city's infrastructure where they were put to work in various fields of labor.

Novas Nika, Congo River Basin

The successful colonial and terraforming efforts on Venus made the now small city of Novas Nika somewhat redundant. However, it remained the heart of operations on Terra and as such Governess Irys would need to continue expansion operations. With her legions in the Indus available for re-assignment, she began moving them to the Northern and Eastern Reaches of the Congo Rainforest. While they would take a little time to get into position, the legions already in the Congo Basin were ordered into action. The II and III Outer Sphere legions invaded Gabon.

With minimal resistance to their advance, the two legions pressed inwards with plans to invade Equatorial Guinea next. And while the reports are currently unconfirmed, there are reports from Cameroon that the plant-like warriors of the Zahe'Mri were seen moving in the jungles in the south of the country indicating that its likely they were being invaded as well. Only the Governess and Princess knew for sure, but with the heavy redeployment of troops out of the Indus Valley into Central Africa it was likely that Africa was about to see an increase in aggression from the occupiers.

Deputy Director Biderman was rushing into a meeting with his superior, Director Marcus, the chiefs of the military, and even President Stewart.

"Ahem" coughed Biderman before beginning his presentation. "At 0800 hours yesterday, our servers in the Pirelli Mountains were hacked. Nothing of importance was leaked to the public. However, we believe that a Non-Official Cover List was stolen. If this is true then the identities, locations and positions of our field agents worldwide have been compromised."

A wave of shocked concern swept the room.

"There is a bright spot, the information on our best field agent was recovered from the cyberterrorists. Agent 113 is safe." added Director Marcus.

"Thank God." said President Stewart. "Well, just partner him with a rookie, and get this darned list back. Now if you'll excuse me gentlemen, I have a meeting with Senator Snyder." said the President, getting up and leaving.

"Who's our best rookie, fresh out of the academy?" asked the Director.

A bar in Riverton City

"Ok, ok, who dares me to keep the bottle on my head, do 8 shots, and stand on one leg!" said a young, probably drunk, Jack Denver, acting like a frat boy. "Aww, dang it, I dropped the bottle. Guess I owe someone 50 bucks." he said.

"THAT's our best rookie?" asked Biderman, pointing at Denver, as they walked in, their office clothes juxtaposed with the casually clothed bar-goers. He went over to where Denver was at the bar, and tapped his shoulder.

"Jack Denver?" he asked.

Jack looked up, and to his right to see a middle-aged bureaucrat with a manila folder enquiring about him.

"Yeah, and you are?" replied Jack.

"Biderman, NSS." said the man.

Jack suddenly became very serious, or at lest, as serious as he could be. He got up, and slapped 10 bucks on the bar counter. "Put the rest on my tab."

"Let's get you sobered up" said Biderman under his breath, walking Jack to the car.

Back at the Citadel

"Has he been briefed on the situation?" asked Marcus.

"Yes." said Biderman. "Also, 113 is here." he added.

Agent 113 was the star field agent of the NSS. Rumor had it that his real name was unknown, except for the top brass. A man who was given a number, and had his name taken away, 113 could kill anyone within a minute of meeting them, disarm a bomb with his bare hands, shoot any gun with pinpoint accuracy, and outrun any pursuing assailant. Fluent in 9 languages, and a master of disguise, 113 had quite a reputation in the intelligence community.

"And did I mention that quite a few people find him charming?" said a secretary while explaining the above information to Jack Denver, waiting for his new partner to show up.

Jack and 113 had quite an adventure in store. An adventure that would shape Jack's career, and his life.

Central Africa

With the redeployment of the legions and the quick and brutal take over of the nations of Gabon, Cameroon, and Equatorial Guinea already completed the Governess then looked northwards further. This time at the struggling nations of South Sudan and the Central African Republic. These two nations were more powerful than the previously conquered territories. However, with South Sudan just having left a civil conflict, and a civil war still being fought in the CAR, there were plenty of divisions to exploit.

However, the Governess believed that a strong showing of strength here would make the rest of her goals that much easier.

South Sudan

By far the stronger of the targets, Fighters flew over the nation firing on defenses and infrastructure while bombers deployed OSMPTs wiping out entire portions of cities and military bases. In the first five hours of the attacks there was panic in the young nation's people as soon dropships and bipedal mechs were moving through major cities. The South Sudanese army fled into the rural areas to try and find shelter and start a guerilla campaign against the invading Zahe'Mri forces. However, as they soon discovered the forests were not their allies in this fight. Ambushes and skirmishes took place in the forests and jungles of the nation. With control over most city centers early on, the Zahe'Mri found surprisingly little resistance from the civilian population, it was the military and tribal affiliations with those in power that fought the hardest. In total two legions were deployed against South Sudan.

For now, the fighting would continue, however, soon the forests themselves would turn into weapons of the Zahe'Mri and the South Sudanese would be forced to surrender.

Central African Republic

A nation in civil war, three sides fighting for dominance of a nation only to have a fourth power drop in on them. A firestorm of artillery crashed amongst rebel fighters and government fighters alike. With no central authority panic ensued. Two of the redeployed Legions were sent into the Central African Republic to pacify the rebels and government forces alike. The fighting intensified all along the borders as the Legions and their mechanized units pushed into the fragile nation.

The heavy mechs caused troops to flee from Bangui, the capital of the nation. With most of the population of the nation quickly falling under the control of Governess Irys and her forces. While not full control over the nation, with the vast majority of population centers.

Shah's Persian Domains

With the Governess expanding in Africa, the Shah was still having his Grogs recover their strength from their invasions into central Asia. He was content with the influx of slaves and migrants from the United States and China Respectively. A program to increase population was introduced.

Mothers would be granted 1 years salary for the first child she has, 3 years if they are twins, 7 years if they are triplets.
Each additional child is 2 more years, doubled for twins or triplets.
If a mother had 10 or more children she would be granted 20 years salary as a bonus on top of the other salaries she received.

Additionally, slaves who wished for freedom could sign up to volunteer for this program and would attain freedom after their 3rd child. Any after that and the woman would be gifted salary as if it were her first child. Those first three children would be assigned by the state as the state saw fit.

The hope was to raise the population of Iran proper from the current 7 million or so up to nearly 100 million as soon as possible.

Krieg has ceased sending anyone to the Shah's lands now, focused on beginning mass-slavery, after enslaving most of what was left of China and India's population, except for the colonists. In some parts of the territories, they were instituting a similar policy to what the Belgian Congo had. The slaves were being used mostly for farming in case of being low on Corpse starch. Human Rights abuses were getting even more rampant in these territories.

Earlier afternoon, the People's Marshal, Yorischa, calls out the GCN empire during the international convening session at the Party Central. She launched the convene by stating that the GCN is a "hypocrite" due to their given history and their recent actions with the international groups. She stated that the GCN state founder, the Southeast Marajarbians, has enslaved the people of Galapagos, committing crimes against the will of the people, and extracting resources without the consent of the Galapasogians. She also blames that the Southeast Marajarbians are responsible for the substantial rise of fascism in Galapagos, before it liberalized its policies. In which, the Southeast Marajarbians credit grabbed. She noted that the recent cooperation of GCN with the ULIBOR or AFAAASA is very ironic, knowing that the 2 international groups are against slavers, when the founder of the GCN has a record of slavery which to this day, still remains unpunished. Furthermore, she also announced that the Janpian Union of Revolutionary Intelligence Center (JURIC) holds speculations that the Southeast Marajarbian Government tries to create a new alliance, with both anti-slavery alliance annexed with it. Fighting in chekvon continues, with the Ukcrossian guard fighting, though their ranks are almost fully decimated, as they prefer to fight to the death, and any other military units in chekvon try to flee, with most being encircled and killed. The ones who are captured are hung from lamp posts and electrical posts along with government officials, and government supporters. The soldiers who witness their comrades brutally hung just as brutally kill the protesters, which makes a twisted policy of no prisoners.

Ukcross fractures more, as struggles for power inside of factions splinter them even more. Even the military splits, with some securing a new capital in Handensburg, and some continuing to try and reform the government with the small remaining amount of government forces.

Agent 113 walks in to the briefing room nonchalantly, and takes a chair next to Jack.

"Who's this?" asks 113.

"113, this is Jack Denver, top of his class at the academy." said Biderman.

"So you want me to babysit?" asked 113 sarcastically indignant.

"Well I don't wanna be a caregiver for Agent Gramps here." retorted Jack with a witty quip.

"Are you calling me old?" asked 113, turning in his swivel chair to face Jack.

"Gentlemen!" said Biderman loudly to call their attention away from the petty bickering. "If you can stop your banter, we need to give you the details of your mission. he added. Then the glass walls of the little conference room turned opaque, as what was to be discussed was highly sensitive. A TV screen dropped down behind Biderman, who began talking as the screen came on. "The man you see here is Alphonse Renaud, French computer programmer. He was kicked out of several universities, research institutes, and government projects for his radical anarchist views. Currently he is in Switzerland, coordinating cyberattacks around the world. We believe that stealing the NOC List is part of a new phase for his organization. Your mission should you choose to accept it, is to find the List, retrieve it, and capture Renaud. If you, or any of your team are caught or killed, the NSS will disavow any knowledge of your actions." explained Biderman.

"Got it." said Jack, ready and eager to go.

"Hold on." said Biderman. "One last thing: You'll need these." said Biderman, tossing a set of car keys to Jack, which 113 caught.

"Jaguar, very nice." said 113, as he looked at the keys.

"Not a scratch." said Biderman.

Bern, Switzerland

As the car was driving along the twisting Alpine roads leading into Bern, Jack decided to turn some music on. Rock music began playing on the radio, as Jack nodded his head to the beat.

"Would you turn that racket off?" asked 113, annoyed. "I'm trying to drive." he added, changing the radio to play classical.

"Oh heck no." said Jack, changing it back to rock.

113 simply nodded his head to side one time, then changed it back to classical. This back-and-forth went on for a few more turns, until one of them just turned the radio off.

The tone for the mission had pretty much been set.
