Kingdom of UN forces have successfully captured the last major hold out city of Anti-KUN forces in Zarnicovia Nova. The city of Jun'Le fell by the hands of the 4th, 5th and 7th Xiang Xu Guards Divisions. However political instability has not stopped with constant terrorist attacks and assinations. The most recent being in Tallin where the govenor of the state was killed by a United Novian Secural Front member. The war however so far has been far less costly then the Armenian invasion. With a mere 3.4 Million dead compared to 20.6 Million during the Armenian invasion. However the economy after both invasion, just doesn't exist. With a 91% GDP reduction from pre-COVID times. Morality rate of every kind is at a all-time high and over 60 major ecological disaster mostly related to the war have occured. The country has just passed 200 guns per 100 citizens as militias support grows day by day.

With the fall of major anti-KUN center of resistances the AZNUP-KUN government has declared victory with the KUN congress approving a motion to officially declare the war over and return most power to AZNUP govenors. AZNUP members declare the victories over 'the enemies of god's revolution' a 'great victory for the international revolution'.

Hinterland passed tax credits to help families that would move to live in Meretica's off-world colonies with the ultimate goal of the nation taking over the rest of the solar system. More people were removing to space daily. The galactic economy was growing, and Meretica was leading that growth. The only real problem was that the people of Earth weren't sharing in that prosperity. Things had certainly improved since he had taken office, but other allies had either stabbed Meretica in the back behind closed doors or turned the nation away. So much for international cooperation. So much for Meretica's typically friendly nation. No longer. This was Meretica's show to run. Already, much had been found in mines and quarries that were being sold on Earth. Soon, the global supply would run out, and the number of buyers would shoot up... drastically.

The commie spies caught several weeks ago (October 23rd, if you were too busy tending to your Brahmin or giving RadAway to your kids) for spying for the KTO commies in Camp International have stood trial for their crimes in an NSAR military tribunal held in the very location of their crime.

The three morons, deliberately left unnamed by the military sources we spoke to, have been confirmed as commie citizens from Janpia due to now unveiled evidence and their apparent ability to speak Janpian when presented with Janpian phrases while being held at gunpoint. They admitted in front of the tribunal exactly what NSAR authorities postulated: that they were indeed attempting to sabotage the New Venturas Monorail (in specific testimony, they said "We ride train big long for many times." which authorities believe is Janpian slang for bomb-setting) and that they had been approached by odd, effeminate men wearing Roman skirts and holding machetes who enticed them to commit the despicable act for "shiny gold coins".

According to famed NSAR Colonel James Nguyen, acting authority at Camp International, it is obvious what the next step of their plan was. "You see, commies have developed a specific weakness for Legion coins. They're shiny, have pictures of funny animals on them, and are made of precious metals. Commie nations such as Janpia, poor and degenerate as they are, love thse precious metals since they can melt them down into shanks and stab one another over bread and toothpastes when they stand in line. It's sickening. They don't know that they're better served trading in those coins for NSAR Dollars. The trial, of course, ended in a guilty verdict for the three knuckleheads, with the result being unanimously accepted by the NSAR military authorities who presided over the trial. Their punishment, though yet to be determined in how painful and needlessly suffering-incuding it should be, will certainly be harsh. It is likely that unless some local Children of Doomsday hippies intervene, or some of President Amari's wishy-washy holdover legislation is reinstated, then the three men will face execution by firing squad or be put to work in a powder gang at the New San Andreas Republic Correctional Facility in the Senora Wasteland. Either way, it can be assured our own NSAR version of justice will be done.

Interestingly, the NSAR government is STILL attempting to auction off the freedom and release of the three Janpian scumbags to their commie government, who have only responded in the most wussy way possible by lying about having not sent them and asking that a 'fair trial' be done. While it is obvious such worthless spies are not deserving of such a trial, the government has repeated that if the Janpian authorities are willing to cough up a negotiated amount of bail money, they will returned to Janpia with none of their commie bones broken or their corpses sullied. Aumbura Goes to War With Muqadassia

While Aumbura initially stated that they would not engage in combat in the Najaf Compact War, instead choosing to simply provide aid to South Olpen and its allies, President Leland Friece has just recently announced that Aumbura would be officially waging war on Muqadassia.

The announcement was made during a speech in front of the Presidential Palace, at approximately 10:30 a.m.

"The war-mongering ways of Muqadassia and its allies continue to threaten the globe," said President Friece. "We have been left with no other option than to withdrawal from our role as non-combatants, and engage in warfare with Muqadassia as part of the Western Entente. It is official. The Democratic People's Republic of Aumbura has officially declared war on Muqadassia."

Around 20k troops are said to have been mobilized in preparation for the war, with numerous tanks, warships, and bomber planes also having been readied for deployment.

When questioned about Aumbura's motivations for entering the war, Minister of Defense Nikolai Rhubachev heavily criticized Muqadassia.

"Muqadassia has been highly aggressive toward South Olpen, and our allies Janpia," said Rhubachev. "They are a tool used to spread the influence of The Marajarbian Federation through state-sponsored terrorism."

Following President Friece's speech, protests erupted throughout much of Aumbura, specifically in the capital city of Fischer, where anti-war advocates decried the decision.

Referendum Results, Government Quiet

The results from both referendums (civil rights and constitution) are in, and the results are quite intriguing. First, on the constitutional front, the mandatory court appearances fell flat, with only 20% of voters saying "Yes", and the same happened to the foreign titles ban, except almost 50% of voters said "Yes", and finally, the only one to succeed, the referendum procedures, had a whopping 90% of voters saying "Yes". The votes for the constitutional referendum are questioned by civil rights experts, who don't believe that those counts are accurate. The government could not be reached for comment on the matter.

Secondly, on the civil rights act, a very similar action happened, with only the disability protections provision succeeding with 70% of voters saying "Yes". The national no discrimination provision failed with only 50% of voters saying "Yes". Some think that people got confused between the two provisions, hence the lack of votes for it. Again, the government could not be reached for comment.

Will the government listen? It's too soon to tell, but hopefully it'll be found out soon.

OAAD Self-propelled anti-air
A good amount of Self-propelled anti-air guns in service were the ZSU-23-4 Shilkas and Tunguska. the 23mm autocannons of the Shilka were showing their age as part of the domestic equipment program, a good amount of Shilkas in Oceanian inventory was sent to have their armament replaced with a Naval AK-230 gun and had either 2 or 4 9K35 Strela missiles installed on the back of the turret although while a lot of Shilkas went through this re-armament program some were kept with their original 23mm guns and had their AA-capabilities removed were put in assault roles. First generations OAADs were converted Shilkas while second generations were to be domestic-produced ones.

The contribution of the development of such vehicles came from foreign-bought vehicles once the knowledge they got from operating said vehicle was achieved the WOSDRT was able to start producing vehicles and weapons for the Oceanian Military.

Albrecht froze. A coup, planned by Winzer? But that must mean... he knows about the plan to pin the blame for the National Mint embezzlement on him. That had to be it. He needs to get rid of me, and quick, so he isn't out of power and in jail, he thought.

"That is... worrying. I will take care of it immediately. In fact, I might try to force his hand too soon, by calling an extraordinary session of the Volksrat, so he can be officially fired and arrested. And, from what you are saying, the Minister of National Intelligence is in on it as well, so he will have the same fate. I am grateful for your help-" Albrecht suddenly trailed off. Krauszer, the Minister of National Intelligence, was in on it? That would mean... there was a possibility of the building being bugged. He suddenly started typing out a message to the members of the Volksrat, calling for an emergency session, and for his own guards to escort him and the 5 informants in the room.

"Krauszer more than likely has this building, maybe even this very room bugged. I know his style, it's why I appointed him as Minister of National Intelligence when I took power. He bugs everything he can for leverage against people. That is why we have to move quickly. A drone flew above sickly brown grass seeking insurgents forced to cross this section of land due to the constant Sonakion advancement. These drones were apart of Sonakions major military revampment intended to bring Sonakion back into the world stage. However its cost meant Sonakion needed new revenue which was why its drones were patrolling Cameroon.

Sonakion had been fighting against Anglophone insurgents for two weeks now. Due to a severe lack of roads most transport was via air with paratroopers landing in villages and taking them with airdrop and reinforcements following. Such villages were then reinforced before advancements outside were made.

Such advancements began with drone patrols of the local area with insurgents forced into defence. As they were forced into narrower battle theatres sprayers from planes and drones were utilised destroying cover with swift advancements from drone and soldiers alike following. Insurgents were thus quickly purged.

Those that escaped often went running back to formerly safe insurgent controlled area's but these too had suffered assault by Sonakion. In the lucky event where those insurgents did not find themselves in dead brown fields with regular drone patrols the insurgents would enjoy Sonakion fireteams on their tale. Many soldiers wooped at the chance to become the much enjoyed position of headhunter and insurgent heads were brought in like crops in a harvest with countless awards and honours bestowed on those who proved themselves.

Already such vast area's of land had been seized that bridges and dirt roads could be constructed along with small runways. Such infrastructure will soon be busy as Sonakion prepares and builds up for the storming of the heavily fortified insurgent area's. Already some of those bastions had enjoyed flaming rain from passing bombers, bucketloads of napalm dappling wooden huts, choking rivers and soaking into dirt.

Indeed as the concentration camps filled and the weak sorted from the strong, as trains of slaves moved across dead fields and built dirt roads plans were being made for the next step for Sonakions venture in Africa.

Once the announcement from the Muqaddasi government was released, the Guadalupadorian Federal Navy sent out a message across all civilian merchant ship channels warning them of possible illegal action taken against shipping on the high seas by what remained of the Muqaddasi Navy. The official order was to divert any ships away from the vicinity of Muqaddasi territorial waters, especially as they were considered active combat zones as well. The Ministry of Trade also sent out additional official messages to any Guadalupadorian merchant vessels near the Persian Gulf approach and within the Arabian Sea to divert their course away from any Muqaddasi EEZ. Within the timeframe allotted, Guadalupadorian merchant ships heeded the warnings and diverted themselves away from Muqaddasia.

Senate Passes Territorial Water Reformation and Defense Act

New Rome, NRI – The landmark Territorial Water Reformation and Defense Act has passed the Senate today in a vote 100-20. This bill, scheduled to be signed into law around 1500 on August 28, modifies the existing definition of territorial water and exclusive economic zone. Currently, the NRI labels all water 22 km from as its territorial water and 370 km from shore as its EEZ. This bill changes the definition of territorial water to 74 km, while keeping the EEZ the same. This new definition brings the NRI into compliance with the 2016 Convention for Stability, Armament and Liberation (COSTAL) Oceanic Accords, which this bill also authorizes the Caesar to sign.

This law also establishes a formal application process allow citizens and groups to apply for letters of marque. This law only allows letters of marque to be issued in line with the verbiage of the Reichsstadt Treaty and the Special Authorization for Trade Protection Act. These allowed the NRI navy to interdict ships of member-states of the United Alliance for Defense and Cooperation (UADC) and the now-defunct Global League of Nations (GLEN), along with the states designated as “founders” of the Global Entente of Nations and Alliances (GENA). GENA had collapsed in upon itself mere hours before the passing of the Special Authorization for Trade Protection Act.

With the passing of this act, civilians may now apply for a letter of marque. This authorizes them to interdict and capture ships flagged of members states of UADC in the territorial water and EEZ of the NRI. The spoils of these interdictions allow the capturing group to keep and do as they want with the ship and everything found inside, save for the sailors. Anyone captured during the interdiction must be handed over to port authorities, unscathed, to be repatriated to their home nation.

Experts don’t think many interdictions will come from this law. Since the passing of the Special Authorization for Trade Protection Act, no GLEN or UADC ships were interdicted by Roman naval forces. This is largely due to the negligible trade between the NRI and member states of those two organizations. After the passage of that law, any trade with them shrank to 0. With no reason to go to NRI ports, no ships entered NRI territorial water.

This law also removes GLEN from the target list. This is largely due to the organization no longer being operational, and all nations that fell under that umbrella are covered by the restrictions on GENA “founders” and UADC member states.

[HEADLINES] Basic Rights Amended, Major Changes Impending

Today, the Emperor officially announced on live television the 4th revision to the Basic Rights Of Makko Oko, the nation's supreme constitutional document. Changes were expected to be coming after last week's surprise referendums involving the constitution and a proposed law known as the Civil Rights Act. While there were a lot of changes put into place, in reality, only 3 changes were made in this revision.

First, was the addition of a mandatory court appearance clause to Section 5, seemingly dismissing the referendum voting results for said clause. Next, was the relabeling of Section 5 itself, which has little effect on the operation of the constitution. Finally, the biggest change, was the addition of a new section, Section 9, which officially created a legislative branch within the government, which was something that the nation had lacked since the Empire was first incepted. Detailed within said section, the name of the parliamentary body is the "Emperor's Law Council", and it appears that unlike traditional parliaments, this one can only write laws and approve them for consideration by the Emperor, meaning anything that's passed by the council, is not guaranteed to become law.

[spoiler=[CENSORED]]Civil rights experts say that this major addition to the constitution is yet another push towards full civil rights, but they do urge people to tread with caution, as they don't think full civil rights are ever going to be a guarantee.[/spoiler] When OkoTV News questioned the Emperor on the formation of the law council, they said that "The formation of the Emperor's Law Council, was done in order to give myself a break from legislative process. Typically, I not only pass, but also write the said laws that embody our nation today, and I have done so since I first came into power in 2019, and now, maturing in age and in wisdom, it is time to change the way we write laws. To do this, this council will be held responsible for writing and sending laws onto my desk personally, for oversight and approval, and while there may be times I don't approve a law, I do believe the people who will make up this fair council, will do a good job and we shouldn't have much of an issue working together."

Some of you may be wondering whatever happened to the Civil Rights Act, and OkoTV News questioned the Emperor on this as well, and they stated that "I am not going to discuss specifics on this proposed legislation at this time, but just know, that I am in the process of working on it". Legal experts at Opposh University believe that this law will be handed over to the newly formed Emperor's Law Council to have them write and get that law enacted. Rather that's true remains to be seen, but we may soon find out.

How is this mysterious figure who seemingly attents every single meeting Southeast Marajarbia seems to attend? No real description beyond the fact such a person is suit clad business looking dude. Some real Agent Smith shit going on here! Sadly, these are only transcripts and the meetings don't make a habit of describing appearances, so i can't figure out if each instance of the Unnamed Marajarbian Representative is the same person.

Now readers, the scary part is that some of these meetings took place in timeframes where it would be physically impossible for an individual to fly across the globe to attend all these meetings. Maybe Southeast Marajarbia has teleportation technology, which means if I die after this is posted, you guys will know. Maybe I won't, because they fly around in really fast jets. Far faster than concord. I hope those guys have sick bags.

Now, the only other conclusion I can possibly fathom is that every single Marajarbian is a clone. You heard it. A clone. Why does a single Marajarbian not have a name? Bill passed to increase government spending to strengthen infastructure and defense

The Szpada Council this afternoon passed a bill to allow more government spending. This comes after the ZN was incorporated into the KUN not too long after, with the war over and the situation in the newly established Commonwealth State has become more stable. The state of the ZN has been rather disorganized at the moment with the economy being little to none, the crime only skyrocketing, and infrastructure in the nation being very poor. Add small resistance moments still alive in the nation as well, although not too big of an issue it is, however, still something needed to be taken care of. Not only was the bill passed because of the ZN issue that is unfolding, but also because of the current state of the world as well. These key factors are why exactly the bill was passed to strengthen the economy as well as make sure any threat to the KUN is taken care of by any means. The bill will allow the rebuilding of ZN to continue, to allow the Commonwealth State to thrive and become functional and stable once more. Not only that but also more troops are being stationed in ZN to suppress any sort of resistance group that threatens the state's stability and progress as well.
