Even with a new government, some things never change...

His Majesty, with the approval of the National Assembly, has decided to invite both Janpian AND Gonswanzan officials to negotiate better relations with said nations. This has come as a surprise to most, as both His Majesty and the Grand Alliance-dominated National Assembly are staunchly pro-Marajarbia...but have since grown distasteful with their handling of the recent 'trade war'. Most of this criticism falls upon not only Marajarbia, but its allies as well, especially the New San Andreas Republic and the Southern American Federation, citing their actions as a 'major threat to world peace'. This, of course, comes alongside the rising tensions with Muqaddasia, a nation which has - by all means - fallen into a state of irrelevancy.

This decision has not come without controversy, however...with some radicalists (of whom hold little to no power inside the government, and are very few in number) claiming that this decision is "yet another betrayal" of Armenia's "closest allies". These claims have, for the most part, have been brushed aside.

It must be noted that the recent actions of the Meretican and Picastanian Government has totally remove the Marajarbian state from any allies, and has minimized the effectiveness of the BDS document provided by their government. As such, their claims that the world's enemy is Janpia is false. At this point, it is obvious that the Marajarbian Government are the true enemies of this world and the primary disruptor of peace and progress, given in their unforgiving and refusing stance of providing a proper justice, along with their broken international code of conduct. The Marajarbian claims of us being undemocratic is false, noting that the Janpian Union of Government Workers Party, the sole party and representation of the Janpian workers, has much more political activity and members, compared to the Marajarbian Government that has no democratic elements or interaction in its government. Such claims seems to be proven further, given that the Marajarbian government does not know the sanctity of the ballots, and has called for transparency of voters in the KTO. Of course, such actions can result to the disruption of the voter's right to secrecy, and such disruption endangers the democratic values in general. The actions of the Ministry of International Communications to add the KTO as a mediator is our response to the Marajarbian government's proposal to bring the TPA into their side at the peace talks. We believe that such actions brought by the Ministry is to balance the mediating side, and to provide a clear, non-biased decision. However, it is obvious that they do not want an unbiased decision, given their refusal to add another party into the meditating side. In their recent response, the Marajarbian Government have stated that the KTO should move on to the future and ignore the crimes at Galapagos. This statement is just an attempt to further deny the Galapagosian genocide, and has provided nothing more than adding another layer of salt into the unhealed wound. Furthermore, the said statement adds additional proof that the Marajarbian Government refuses justice and international cooperation. It must also be noted that the Marajarbian actions were done by a single person may be false, given that Emperor Jackson is said to be involved in the entire thing, and as such, he must be given a proper trial to give him a chance to disprove the charges. In response to the Armenian Majesty's invitation, the Janpian Diplomatic Corps will accept the invitation, and will fully cooperate for peace and prosperity. The Janpian Union of Government Workers Party only seeks nothing but peace and emancipation of the workers.

An Olpen Foundation worker before opening up a food bank

The newest noble houses in Meretica, the houses of Jordan and Sorit, have taken it upon themselves to open food banks across the country. This comes as a severe economic depression leaves many people jobless and unable to pay for basic necessities. The Foundation supplies food, blankets, and other essentials including gasoline and mental health support to the neediest Mereticans.
The Foundation has consisted mainly of the personal wealth of both families, with House Sorit selling a beach home in Coral. However, many wealthy Olpenese philanthropists have said they will be making donations. Included is Chamber Minister Philibert Neuville, as well as Paul Edvar. King Malcolm (Long May He Reign!) of Meretica has donated upwards of 100,000.
Currently, the effort is one of the largest charities ever. Already, about 1.2 million meals have been served over just 4 days, and about 5 million are receiving other aid, such as baby formula or blankets. The plan is even more ambitious, as the Foundation will attempt to aid over 500 million Mereticans. While some are skeptical, others are praising the Foundation for its ambition and dedication.
However, reports say that this doesn't come cheap. The Sorit family sold their home as stated earlier, and the Jordan families are nearing bankruptcy, some say. However, neither House have admitted anything. it is also unlikely they will buckle, as to Olpen to allow them to go bankrupt due to charity would be seen as a disgrace among the people and government.

King's Coffers Bankrupt as He Spends Money to Save Jobs, Feed People

King Malcolm has less than $2 million BISDs, roughly $75,000 in average monetary units. He has reportedly auctioned off a number of important family heirlooms, including the Scepter of Michael I, one of the Dragonheart Family's oldest relics (dated around 1,200 years old). Where has the money gone? According to Queen Dorothy, every penny has been spent on buying food for hungry Mereticans, paying electric bills across the nation, and maintaining the national defense. "Every family has been hurt by the ongoing crisis, and we all have a part to play." In all, it is believed that the Dragonheart Family has spent upwards of $2 trillion to provide needed housing, food, and clothing to the nation.

As the law prevents King Malcolm from taking an official stance on ongoing political and economic issues, Ambassador Margaret Reagan (his appointee to the KTO) has pressed for a number of policies that it is believed the King also supports. "I would like to propose that we create a system to assist nations with issues in their economies and supply chains to form an international food pantry," Regan said in a KTO meeting. "This would alleviate the burdens of costs on families, allow people to donate to food pantries, and limit foreign intervention in local economies."

When asked if monetary aid would be requested, Reagan had this to say. "We are looking to end the economic crash, not worsen it by ending the chance for any of our industries to compete locally, let alone on the international stage. We do not want monetary aid. We do not want economic aid. We want assistance in making sure that our people do not starve. Placing investments in our nation are extremely likely to fail, thereby worsening the situation and driving the economy into deeper disarray."

King Malcolm will make a televised address soon to address the economic situation.

Pres. Flores Resigns; VP Robertson becomes Acting President

Mired in scandal and distrusted by the public, President Maria Flores has resigned. Harold Robertson, her vice president, has now become the nation's chief executive. he has promised to do all that he can to bring the economic crash under control, but as conditions worsen, it seems unlikely that anyone can do anything under the standing circumstances. Unemployment stands at 47%, and rioting has started to spread in the largest cities, leaving the upcoming elections uncertain. No candidate has reached the 15% threshold required to attend a national debate, with the highest-polling candidate (Theresa Wilson, a Conservative from Laenalaen) obtaining a mere 9%.

"We mean business," Captain Chapayev Leonidovich said at the start of an interview - conducted over the internet - early Friday Morning, 19th of August. "I've already ordered the Task Force to full combat readiness. We've concluded our calls to the Janpian Navy concerning our arrival and informed them of our intent to conduct anti-piracy and trade protection patrols. We've got full authority here."

The CSS Exeter left the Saratoga Naval Shipyards early on Monday, August 15th. The transit from the Anagonian Ocean, across Gholgoth, and to the Janpian territorial waters took several days. During that time, Captain Leonidovich rigorously drilled the fleet.

"Much of the crew still had the grumps in them," remarked Captain Leonidovich with some humor. The "Grumps" is a Confederate Navy term to unofficially describe a naval personnel's state of readiness, which in this case implies fogginess or forgetfulness. "I believe I've drilled most of that out during our transit. Much of my airwing has displayed satisfactory results in recent drills and I believe we are fully operational and capable to defend and enact the authority invested to us by the President of the Confederate States."

In a press interview early Thursday morning, August the 18th, President Mileethus Canisilus had clarified on his intentions for the deployment of naval personnel abroad. He stated that his intentions were "in the best interest of international peace", and that, "by protecting our fellow alliance member-nations within the Kalisight Treaty Organization, we are displaying not only our commitment to them, but also our commitment to protecting vital trade". The press over the recent days has, according to some sources, been quite brutal of the President and his administration over the actions of deploying military forces abroad to enforce what some have claimed was, "trying to be a world policeman". This has been a common attack against the President since his Executive Order, however Captain Leonidovich sees it differently.

"I don't think our Commander in Chief was attempting to be a world policeman," the Captain stated plainly in response to the question. "We are not the United States. We are not dependent on oil or fossil fuels, for one. We have not backed ourselves into an economic corner by ridiculous world obligations, for another. We, as a nation, have been smart and intelligent thus far and this action of deploying the Exeter and the Glassford up here to Janpian is simply an exercise our capability to protect our interests, which happen to be in fact an interest of every nation if they're sane about economics. Trade protection, our interests to protect is and always will be trade protection."

When asked why the Confederate Navy was relevant in the vicinity of Janpian when the most common opponent of the United Revolutionary States, the Naval Federal Union of Southeast Marajarbia - commonly referred to as "Marajarbian", hasn't made a single realistic move against Janpian according to recent reports made by critics of President Canisilus, Captain Leonidovich dismissed the overall claims.

"I've seen the recent news reports," Captain Leonidovich had replied in response to the question. "They're overall claims center around the fact that the Naval Federal Union hasn't made any military movements towards the United Revolutionary States. They claim that is proof of our Commander in Chiefs incompetence. I claim otherwise. I claim, rather, that the very presence of our Navy and other naval forces - including those capable naval forces of the Janpian Navy, let's not forget them! - has been a deterrent. I further claim the words of our President in regards to Marajarbian aggression has placed a stop on not only their rhetoric, but also their ego. They can argue and moan and complain all they want diplomatically, that was clearly stated as being agreeable by the President. He wants dialogue and wants talks. What he doesn't want, and what I believe we have accomplished in preventing, is actual military confrontation. I think we have successfully avoided that with how fast we have responded."

Most reports coming in concerning the disagreement between the Naval Federal Union and the United Revolutionary States has not, in fact, mentioned a single instance of military confrontation. Most of the altercations stated have been either other Nations conducting operations to embargo the Naval Federal Union, which have not included the Janpian Navy as of yet, or other situations unrelated to present events.

"It's very clear to me that we're going to be stationed either here or in this general vicinity for a few months," remarked Captain Leonidovich at the conclusion of the interview. "Trade protection is the utmost importance of the Confederate Navy. It is what drives and what powers our economy. We, as a people, are a merchantlike folk. We are capitalist, we are entrepreneurs, we seek our financial gain to stabilize our well being and level of happiness. We seek to establish diplomatic relations by sharing cultures through the actions of trade. It is our number one priority, as a military branch, as the Confederate Navy, to protect that ability of all Confederate citizens to enjoy this liberty. And we do that....we do that by protecting what we're doing now, by protecting Janpian trade and economic stability. And we, the Confederate Navy, mean business in regards to protecting that. Don't test us, because we mean business."

In recent reports made to the KTO by Colonel Alexander Peterson, Anagonian Ambassador to the KTO, the Colonel clearly stated that the Confederate States is committed to protecting the interests of its allies and friends. President Canisilus has also affirmed this position of the Confederate Government. "Trade is our number one priority," the President remarked in an interview on Wednesday.

"I can assure you they're already being kept in touch," Captain Leonidovich stated at the conclusion of the interview when he was asked how communication between naval personnel and families was after some recent reports of families having issues with contacting loved ones. "One of those reported to be having issues with contact was in fact on this very ship. Midshipman First Class Tyler Bondi was his name, if I recall. What had happened was a severe weather event had transpired back at his hometown. His family had utilized the proper procedures to report to the Confederate Navy of a possible communication failure due to unforeseen circumstances. Midshipman First Class Bondi wasn't alerted until after the fact, which led to him filing a complaint. That complaint was seen by the press and used for ulterior political motives, in my opinion. I can assure you, the press, and the people that this situation has since been resolved and that Mr. Bondi's family is safe and sound following their dramatic situation. I even personally reported to Mr. Bondi and helped conduct a phone call between his family."

Midshipman First Class Tyler Bondi is a 24 year old, 8 year veteran of the Confederate Navy. His assignment on the CSS Exeter, much like that reported on of Captain Chapayev Leonidovich earlier this week, was reportedly rushed. The Confederate Navy has since released a report that the circumstances surrounding the communication blackout was "out of its control", but that it has since begun to investigate further measures to ensure proper alerts and situational updates concerning extreme weather events and any general national event are properly conveyed to impacted servicemembers as soon as possible.

"I am committed to making sure my crew are kept grounded with their families," the Captain affirmed, citing his pledge to keeping his crew involved with their families and events. "Any way possible, I am always one-hundred percent making sure there is always a line of communication somewhere open. You never know when that one crewmember or officer, or anyone really, will need that lifeline to sort themselves out. You never know. It's a very critical issue and I and the Confederate Navy take it very seriously."

This is preeminently the time to speak the truth, the whole truth, frankly and boldly. Nor need we shrink from honestly facing conditions in our country today. This great Nation will endure as it has endured, will revive, and will prosper. So, first of all, let me assert my firm belief that the only thing we have to dread is dread itself--nameless, unreasoning, unjustified terror which paralyzes needed efforts to convert retreat into advance. In every dark hour of our national life, a leadership of frankness and vigor has met with that understanding and support of the people themselves which is essential to victory. I am convinced that you will again give that support to leadership in these critical days.

The appearance before the nation in this way is unprecedented and unusual, but these are unprecedented and unusual times. I have started on the tasks that lie ahead by breaking the absurd traditions that the King should remain in professed ignorance of what is happening for weeks until he is formally notified of that event many weeks later. My fellow Mereticans, may this be the symbol of my intention, to be honest, and to avoid all hypocrisy or sham, to avoid all silly shutting of the eyes to the truth in this nation. You are suffering, and I know it. I am doing all within my legal power to see to it that you suffer no longer.

Let it also be symbolic that in so doing I broke traditions. Let it be from now on the task of our nation to break foolish traditions. We will break foolish traditions and leave it to the establishment leadership, far more skilled in that art, to break promises. It was my grandfather, King Michael the Second, that broke many of our long-standing traditions during his reign, and doing so saved us many times over. I will not claim to be the same man that my grandfather was. Nor will I pretend that I will be nearly as successful a leader as he was. Rather, I shall pledge to do my best, regardless of who attempts to stand in the way of me helping every single one of you.

That we are in the midst of a crisis is now well understood. Our nation is at war against a far-reaching network of violence and hatred. Our economy is badly weakened, a consequence of irresponsibility on the part of some, but also our collective failure to make hard choices and prepare the nation for a new age. Homes have been lost, jobs shed, and businesses shuttered. Our health care is too costly, our schools fail too many-- and each day brings further evidence that the ways we have been operating have brought about the disaster around us today. These are the indicators of crisis, subject to data and statistics. Less measurable, but no less profound, is a sapping of confidence across our land; a nagging fear that Meretica's decline is inevitable, that the next generation must lower its sights. Today I say to you that the challenges we face are real. They are serious and they are many. They will not be met easily or in a short period. But know this, Meretica: They will be met.

I stand with you. I will work with you. Together, we shall stand united, and we shall see ourselves through to the end. I am prevented by the law, rather than by tradition, from saying what courses I believe are best to take; as such, I shall remain silent on the matter. The heavily damaged remains of two carrier groups dragged themselves towards Muqaddasia, having faced an unprovoked attack and a terrible defeat. But even as they fled, another action was being planned. Ships from around Muqaddasia were moving, starting to build another fleet. Funding to political groups was cut and diverted into the military. Muqaddasia showed its proposal:

1) All nations involved in the unprovoked attack of the two Muqaddasi carrier strike groups will pay Muqaddasia compensation for the people killed and injured and the equipment damaged.

2) Muqaddasia will pay compensation for people killed and damage caused to equipment to these nations.

3) All bodies shall be found and returned to their country.

4) Guadalapador shall pay for the destruction of the Mawj and the people killed in the attack on it.

5) Guadalapador shall return the captured crew to Muqaddasia.

Muqaddasi Ships Will Be 'Immediately Sunk' If Spotted in Armenian Waters: MOD

Oh, Muqaddasia...when will you learn?

As most of their two carrier groups lay at the bottom of the ocean, a reminder of Muqaddasia's constant failures, the Armenian government has decided to...use this situation to their advantage. See, both nations share an, albeit small, land border with each other, with just a sliver of Muqaddasi land touching Anatolia...which, of course, could always be used as a sort of "starting point" for a potential invasion of Armenia. However, the Armenian government isn't interested in fortifying the area around this strip of land...no, they look to secure a much more valuable position: the eastern Mediterranean Sea. And so - after much deliberation - the Minister of Defense, Vahan Skendarian, has announced that any Muqaddasi ships spotted in, or around, 'Armenian waters' are to be immediately sunk without prior warning...with exceptions made to unarmed merchant vessels, which are to be impounded, and their crews detained. Why would Armenia risk the chance of falling victim to foreign imperialism once again?

Krieg has announced its plans to carpet-bomb the rebel-controlled cities along the coast, as the rebels had managed to capture many bases along the Chinese coast. Hans Lanok has requested every man and woman of China protect their homes against the cults that are rebelling against the Imperium, stating Chaos will let no one live if they are not taken out. The destroyed Baneblade has been salvaged and repaired, with witness reports stating that the dead crew had fought even as they drowned, firing their lasguns at the attacking cultists and even while drowning, stabbing any cultists they found. More batches of Krieg have been created by the Vitae Womb facilities, with it being expected that almost 7 more regiments will be prepared to fight the cultists alongside Krieg's allies. One of the cities in China that Krieg managed to fully indoctrinate, near the coast, managed to hold off Chaos attacks, with spears, swords, and any firearms they managed to find. Lanok has announced a policy of zero-mercy toward the rebellion, with any cities that will support the defense against the Rebellion being rewarded generously with extra funds, protection, and weapons.

The Aquaria's Future Plan to the issue of Tonga

President Misaka, this morning, attended a forum in Tokisaki Grand City Hall. During the forum, a reporter from Yelena Television asked the president a question about the issue of Tongan Occupation. In response, Misaka stated that the People's Republic of Tonga will be holding an election regarding their choice of independence.

The Aqua-Tongan War was one of the most important part of the Grand Slaver Crusade, which directly caused the establishment of the United Liberation Organisation and many of the international humanitarian organisations. Some citizens has criticised that the decision might be turned out becoming the revival of colonialism, which the former Empire of the Aquaria has largely committed. The occupation also gave a tremendous pressure for the federal government's budget on maintain the control, when there are often major protests, riots, and even revolutions for the revival of Tonga's sovereignty.

The guests were an economist who was here to talk about some new stock market development, a self-defense consultant and a historian. And the most illustrious guest…

“Our most illustrious guest here today is Grand Ambassador Peter Nizhinsky. Welcome to our show, Peter. Can you tell us a bit about the newest developments with the Kriegers?”

“That’s exactly what I am here for. Now if we talk about the so-called Imperium of Mankind, it’s best to start with what most people know. “That sounds horrifying. And why do they accept this?”

Polls indicate that support for the Royalists has shot up in the weeks following King Malcolm II's recent televised address. Holding an average of 45% support across the nation, the Royalist Floor Leader, Senator Miriam Bailey, has expressed her surprise at the newfound support for strengthening the monarchy and following the economic model put forth by King Michael Dragonheart II during his reign during much of the 20th Century. Roughly 5% of Mereticans plan to write in King Malcolm, and over 19% of Mereticans are either "seriously considering it" or are "open to the idea."

The Ukcrossian force reaches the Chinese coast near Xiamen and the fleet anchors off the coast. A force of 1,000 from the 2nd Conscripts on shore and they run into some chaos cultists, Khornate. They fix their bayonets knowing they favor melee combat and hold their positions, firing and lobbing grenades. After the Khornate reach their line the Ukcrossians quickly fall into disarray, with men fleeing and many being cut down. 108 Conscripts make a bayonet charge to try and push the cultists back, but it fails, and the surviving 91 Soldiers flee and retreat to the fleet. after a shore bombing, now 2,250 troops land, fighting a small skirmish and finally pushing them back. The Soldiers realize the cultists will soon be back and take hulshan fort. Even though the fort is old, but it is easier to hold. The soldiers set up shop, and attempt to radio krieg, but the antenna isn't set up yet in their rushed set up. Reinforcements are sent by the fleet, and 900 extra men are sent. The holders of fort now total 3,150. Before they can set up the antenna, the Khornate attacks. The Ukcrossians hold, the little Khornate who make it to the fort are skewered, but more keep coming. The Men in the fort hit their halfway point in their ammunition supply. After 2 more hours, they reach their quarter-point. soon after they reach their Eighth-way point, they see a strange occurrence. Tzeentch Cultists appear and attack Khornate ones, suddenly the Khornate turn and attack the Tzeentch. The Soldiers gain enough time to put up the antenna and they call for supply drops.

[HEADLINES] Parent Files Suit Against the Government For Violation Of Civil Rights

Today a parent going by the name of Charlotte Sewell has filed a lawsuit on behalf of her minor child who is anonymous, seeking an injunction and motion to halt against the government for a "blatant violation of civil rights", the docket said. The case, known as Sewell V. Makko Oko, appears to stipulate that their undisclosed minor child had been stopped by a law enforcement officer, questioned and then under the powers declared under the Naturalization Allegiance Act, forced them to schedule and take the allegiance test. The suit aims to have an emergency motion to halt issued against the minor's allegiance test in addition to issuing an injunction against the government to not issue such a test again against them or any other minor.

OkoTV News was able to receive comment from their lawyer who told us, "This is an easy case, and while I can't disclose anything personal about the case in itself, I will say that under Article 1 of the Naturalization Allegiance Act, this minor can't even take the test if they willingly tried to, because you have to be 18 to do so, but this was a rogue action, and in that, it'll be a wrongful forfeiture of citizenship."

OkoTV News reached out to the Emperor's Prosecution Service for comment but were redirected to the Ministry Of Diplomatic Affairs who commented "The government will not comment on this case at this time, and has no official comment to provide."

Deals On MNSN Fall Through, MNSN Pushes Back

Today, MKBO Comptroller Jared Holladay announced the company's pullout from an MNSN bid, and the same day, MNSN announced that they were no longer seeking a merger or buyout of any kind, essentially killing off OBC's hopes of successfully buying out MNSN after MKBO's pullout. In a statement from Jared Holladay, they told OkoTV News "MKBO pulled out, not because of anything against MNSN, but simply, due to our own internal reasons that at this time, we will not be disclosing". OkoTV News inquired about the pull out with the ISOC, and ISOC Director Robert Raminez themselves responded stating "The pull out by MKBO of a potential merger or buyout of MNSN was nothing the government had a say in, nor did we know of their intentions or reasons for pulling out. While this may be a potential loss for those affected, and potentially the government, no merger will be forced at this time."

OBC meanwhile did not respond to multiple requests for comment on the matter.

SSRC Arrests Carytonic Couple For Getting Married

OkoTV News obtained a docket today with the Emperor's Court Of Makko Oko in the capital city of Opposh regarding a criminal suit filed by the Emperor's Prosecution Office on behalf of the SSRC for an immigrant couple from the Spiritual Republic of Caryton. The suit goes into detail from law enforcement testimony among others, saying that the couple in question was one of the same-sex, and under Caryton's own laws, is illegal, and henceforth, is illegal under the Citizens' Unionization Act.

The couple, named Kian Bell and Hunter Muir, are the first homosexual couple to be arrested under the foreign legislation enforcement provision of the Citizens' Unionization Act, in addition to being the first homosexual couple to be arrested since homosexual marriage was legalized in the nation. At this time, it is not known if either individual have a lawyer, and they individually, could not be reached for comment. Legal experts say that this provision of the law willingly and knowingly violates the national sovereignty of the Empire Of Makko Oko, by allowing foreign overreach into national territory and jurisdiction. We asked the SSRC Director, Jose Cortese, for comment on what the legal experts thought about this case, "Personally, I am not a fan of foreign law reaching into ours, because it's more paperwork for us, more paperwork for the court, and all around, more research. The Peoples Federation of Olpen has accepted Janpia's offer to Marajarbia and Olpen. The plan, which will bring an end to the blockade of Marajarbia and hopefully also an end to the feud between the long string of Marajarbian alliances and the KTO, calls for both Emperor Jackson and Marshall Anya to submit themselves before an Olpenese judge, Chief Justice Josselin Simpson, and under Olpenese and International law.
The trial will have three charges; Crimes Against Man, Crimes Against International Order, and War Crimes. The definitions for these will be taken from historical war crime trials, such as the Nuremberg Trials and the Tokyo Trials. Both sides will be able to freely present their cases while Judge Simpson mediates and decides the guilt or sentencing of both. It's currently unknown how imprisonment or even execution, in the heavily unlikely event it will be used, will occur, as deporting them to their homelands to be imprisoned and deporting them to the enemies' homeland to be prisoned pose problems. It is most likely that they will be held either in Olpen or a state diplomatically close to Olpen like Lismania.
Olpen urges Marajarbia to agree in order to restore international order and settle this dispute. The public is already taking sides, with many calling for both Anya's and Jackson's imprisonment. In other news, Operation Bushfire is mostly successful, given minimal resistance. Yet this has worried the Gonswanzans due to a lack of labor available. SFC James Colette has more to say about this-

1) All nations involved in the unprovoked attack of the two Muqaddasi carrier strike groups will pay Muqaddasia compensation for the people killed and injured and the equipment damaged.

2) Muqaddasia will pay compensation for people killed and damage caused to equipment to these nations.

The Federal Union of Guadalupador is able to accept four out of the five Muqaddasi proposals, since they are nearly identical to the proposals put on the table by the Federal Union in its previous demands, but find significant issue with the first option on the proposal:

The Federal Union of Guadalupador will not pay one cent in any sort of reparations to the Medinaist Republic in-regards-to the defensive action against the Muqaddasi Navy's two destroyed carrier strike groups. We must reiterate that the Medinaist Republic of Muqaddasia does not have any sort of power to demand such a thing. We refer to our previous demands and implore that it is in Muqaddasia's best interest that they accept the Federal Union of Guadalupador's most generous proposals. We understand that Muqaddasia is a proud country, but it is to the point of foolishness to not accept such generous terms outlined in our initial post-action missive.

Yugoslavic economic model proposed

In a convened session at the Union of Party Members Committee, 322 party members proposed to establish and use the Yugoslavian economic model (Petoska in Janosche language), which utilizes and enables workers councils on the labor unions, solves the problem of production, while mixing the centralized planned economy with a market socialist economy. If implemented, the markets would be limited to consumer goods, while labor, resources, and materials would be controlled directly by the party under the Ministry of Economy and Trade. This would break away the traditional power of labor unions as the sole controller of the means of production, making them reliant by the state allocation, logistics, and planning. If implemented, each union will have their own worker's council, which will be an electable group of leading people, who's task is to lead the unions and make them self-reliant away from state planning committee. The workers' councils can appoint the management authority, which will be done by a secret ballot elections. The worker's profits gained from labor would depend on the investment and labor output, which can encourage workers to be efficient and productive in their labor. According to the Ministry of Economy and Trade, such proposal is implementable, if the majority of the Party Members, Kolshaks, and Unions, have agreed to implement such policies. Furthermore, such economic policy will allow an ease of currency and making it flow once again, restricting barter market economy and expanding Janpian means of production for exports.

However, despite the positive takes of some UPMC attendees, a few members advocated to maintain the current economic policy which gives power to the unions in terms of resources, and abhors the currency as a form of market exchange. Some stated that the current economic deficiencies can be solved by a better logistical network, allowing efficient flow of information to the state central planning, and an organized way to handle the material production and exchange. Furthermore, a few claimed that the current Janpian economic system is riddled with corruption, and switching to another economic model would just worsen the condition further. The People's Marshal presiding that time has stated that the Petoska may be efficient than the current economic system, given the lack of better information transfer and state control that the current economic system utilizes. However, she stated that a few necessary things must be laid down and established first, in order to fully implement petoska in to the Janpian society.

University of Gerov Point - Aeronautics, launched 5 moon rovers

The University of Gerov Point-Aeronautics educational institution (UGP-AEI) has launched 5 OXB-E satellites aboard the UST-4 rocket, on for a mission to the moon as part of the university's research paper. The UST-4 rocket would try to capture the moon's orbit before releasing the five satellites, which would then carefully guide the OXB-E rover to the moon's surface. The OXB-E rover's purpose is to observe and understand the moon's surface and atmosphere, along with investigating the moon's landscape for scientific research and gain. Other topics of the research include finding any seismic activity on the moon and discovering the moon's geographical activities and possible resources. According to the university students and the university research director, the OXB-E has AI programming, which allows the rover to conserve its energy by utilizing said energy wisely, maintaining focus on interesting environments and the ability to analyze and detect particular interests such as rock formations, patterns, or movements. Despite the mission of the OXB-E rovers, the students affectionately called them "cubes," noting the rover's box-shaped design.
