Let it be known that new data was handed down to myself, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, as well as the Minister of the Interior, Minister of the Military, and other members of the Imperial Cabinet to the Supreme Emperor. As of the 28th of July in the year of our Lord 2022 on the Gregorian Calendar, any ship from any nation of the FORMER Defunct Alliance that called itself the Global Entente of Nation and Alliances (GENA), its suspected successors of the United Alliance of Defense and Cooperation (UADC) will be seized, searched and impounded if they enter the Exclusive Economic Zone of the Shazbotdom Empire or any of her Colonial Holdings throughout the world.
If any naval vessels of the Shazbotdom Imperial Navy are fired upon by any ships bearing a flag of any of the nations from GENA or UADC, they will be swiftly sent to the bottom of the ocean where they will rest for eternity and the bodies of those sailors will rot and be eaten by any aquatic life that comes across them. These nations have shown that they are now and continue to be a Pariah of the International Community and must be met in kind. COUNTESIAN FEDERAL NAVY SCORES FIRST SUCCESSFUL INTERDICTION OF

At approximately 10:37am this morning the Federal Navy of Countesia made an announcement that it had successfully captured its first Marjarbian vessel since the Kalisight Treaty Organisation announced a total blockade of any civilian ship registered to Southeast Marajarbia. The vessel, which has yet to be named, was caught attempting to navigate international waters approximately 300km from the edge of the Countesian Exclusive Economic Zone during the cover of darkness, carrying miscellaneous cargo. Despite its attempts to remain undetected, the vessel but was was spotted on radar and identified as registered to the Marajarbian merchant fleet. After a several hundred mile chase that lasted the better part of the night the CNS Estermont was able to successfully land a boarding team by helicopter, which apprehended the crew and took control of the vessel without incident or loss of life to either side, the Ministry of Defence would later go on to confirm.

As the takeover was met with no resistance, the Marajarbian crew not apprehended and was permitted to gather their belongings and escape by the vessels onboard lifeboat, and was shadowed by the helicopter until the raft was picked up by a vessel from a non-affiliated nation. It has been reported, yet unconfirmed, that the contents of the vessel will be auctioned off to wholesalers and the proceeds split between Countesia and Janpia, who has been the target of a counter-blockade from a Southeast Marajarbian-led coalition referred to as the Boycott, Disinvestment, and Sanctions Document of Janpia.

This news comes days after Southeast Marajarbia announced that it had detained all Countesian citizens living or residing within its territories, which after a brief negotiation between Countesia and Southeast Marajarbia, were safely collected and returned home. Despite the safe return of the thirty eight Countesians living in Marajarbia, many within the Federal Government of Countesia as the general populace, including the Kalisight Treaty Organisation itself, have deemed such an act bordering on ethnic cleansing.

Another Ship Down, Says Gonswanzan Navy

Earlier today, a ship in the Indian ocean was intercepted by Gonswanzan forces, deployed from Sri Lanka. Reportedly, it had failed to hail, much less respond to requests for it to slow down and allow for a boarding party to approach it from a nearby destroyer. However, rather than use the destroyer, instead, Gonswanzan forces opted to use an aircraft equipped with a Kalibr-M to knock the ship out, setting it on fire and later crippling the ship.

The ship later sunk with no requests for aid, though it's assumed that most of the crew perished on impact, or communications were knocked offline.

There were no attempts to try to rescue anyone from the ship, much less even aid it, as the destroyer simply turned away from the burning wreck to carry out its patrol.

This isn't going to be the last time that such an event will occur, though, the strange event is rather peculiar in that the offending aircraft was not identified, but it is assumed to be an F-105 Skipjack given the fact that a Kalibr-M was clearly used in this incident (and not something like a Kinzhal or a BrahMos).

The Marajarbian Government has announced that 2 Janpian civilian cargo ships are being surrounded for an escort through Marajarbian territorial waters. There has been no reported violence so far, but aggression on the behalf of the Janpian government is possible the moment this article goes out. The ships are merely being escorted, with the boarding and seizure of goods as outlined by the BDS only happening if there is an aggressive stance used in retaliation by the Janpian Government directly.

With the ships being surrounded, the Revolutionary Navy in the area began warning the Marajarbian vessels, stating to not board it. Further pursuance would result to the boarding party getting fired upon. This is all thanks to the shipping permit released by the Revolutionary Maritime Guards, enabling Janpian warships to escort any vessels and among others in an efficient manner, placing naval presence to the said trade routes. Missiles auto-directed by the Revolutsiya CMS targeted the Marajarbian escort vessels, aiming them down with a hypersonic sea skimming missile. Furthermore, the warship, which is identified as JRS Kolbanov, a Katyacha-Class Destroyer, continued on warning the Marajarbians to stop it from boarding, and to let the vessels continue its course. It is set that after 6 warnings, the ships would automatically launch the said missiles, which was authorized under Naval Directive Order 274. Furthermore, if the ship is about to enter Marajarbian territory, the ship will not hesitate to launch missiles and appropriate armaments to deal the entirety of the Marajarbian escorts.

While all this continues, MH-2N Petrel helicopters and RHIBs were sent to intercept them, carrying 2 IR seeking missiles, 1 torpedo, and a squad of Revolutionaries, ready to take on and defend Janpian vessels if landed. Furthermore RHIBs carrying MG's, and a man-held ATGM were sent to intercept and board the Marajarbian vessels to interdict and impound them. They also carried 2 hand-launched drones, capable of laser marking the ships, providing further accuracy and intel back to JRS Kolbanov

Bombing in Kikoto Miasto! Reports say Marshall dead!

This morning in while visiting the port city of Kikoto Miasto to watch the launching of a naval vessel dedicated in his name, a bomb was detonated which reports say killed 7 (Not including Lato) and injuring 17 with 3 in critical condition. Out of the 7 was long time CDIB director Kazimierz Vadászok, who also was reported dead at the scene. Although reports say that they were killed, there has been no bodies recovered of both Vadászok and Lato at the moment. This begs the question whether they were killed or not in the explosion or not. Given incoming condemnations of KTO's (and Janpia's) "hostile actions" while everyone seems to ignore the Gonswazan kill count, another civilian ship is notably raided, this time by pirates, while Gonswanza looks on. Laura, however, is laughing at the scathing responses, given they were more akin to strongly worded letters written in crayon with zero actual impact and weight, much unlike a declaration of war or an actual military response. So long as there was a lack of intervention, a lack of action, Gonswanza will continue to strike down UADC shipping and ensure that the blockade is maintained. With submarines now joining the fight, a Loki class submarine was even reported to have been seen within the waters of the South China sea, while scant reports of Marajarbian shipping coming under threat are confirmed with the further sinking of two tankers given the sheer lack of an escort.

Earlier today an unknown aircraft was spotted over Oceania by the radar operators resulting in 2 Mig-17s being launched from a nearby airbase and quickly intercepting the aircraft abiding by order #341 one of the fighter pilots gave a warning to the trespassing aircraft to turnaround or face getting shot down, however, they failed to heed to the warning allowing the 2 Mig pilots to use lethal force using their powerful 23mm and 37mm autocannons they quickly and swiftly managed to shoot down the cargo plane before heading to the airbase the only casualties where the pilots of the unauthorized aircraft.

Sevan in Critical Condition After Assassination Attempt

Tragedy has, once again, struck Armenia...

During a political rally in Vagharshapat Hakob Sevan, the current president of the International Humanitarian Coalition (IHC) and a longtime member of the National Assembly, was shot in the midst of his speech promoting cooperation with the Grand Alliance. The perpetrator? Zarmayr Papazian - an extremist with (supposed) ties to the deposed government. According to the officers on-site, Papazian had stated that the attempted murder was meant to 'avenge the true government of Armenia' and to 'strike down the theocratic establishment'. It is suspected that he also had socialist and/or communist sympathies, as suggested by a (mandatory) scroll through the assailant's social media accounts. No matter what his intentions were, it is (justifiably) expected that he, alongside any other potential conspirators, are likely to face capital punishment.

His Majesty, as per usual, called this event a 'tragedy of the utmost concern' and 'a stain on our newer, and greater, fatherland'...while PM Avietissian had much, much more to say:

"No matter what you think about Sevan, or what you think of his policies, this...THIS is, above all, an example of degeneracy, and its perpetrator a degenerate. One must ask: 'What is worth more than the life of an honourable man?' 'Republicanism'? 'Socialism'? Greed?"

First Ship Captured

Today the first ship was captured. It was around 9:39 am when an unauthorized ship entered Atlantician waters, as it got closer to Eagle City, the ship was ordered to stop at the port of Eagle City, the ship obeyed the orders, and headed towards the port, arriving at the port, the navy were asked for some kind of permission, they did not present it, and they were also asked about their nationality, they also did not respond, they did not even have identification documents, and they did not seem to speak English, nor Portuguese, but spoke Spanish, after a long conversation, they were taken to a nearby immigration prison, they could either have come from KTO allied countries, or they could just be illegal immigrants, but this shows that the AFR's approach is totally different from that of others countries.
The immigration police did not find any drugs or cargo, assuming they are probably illegal immigrants, but no alternative can be ruled out.

On the morning of August 13th, 2022, at 15:00, an assassination attempt occurred during a march in Lanzhou, which is known for its rebel presence against Krieg, with a grenade being thrown into a crowd of guardsman, wounding the first in command of all Krieg forces on Earth, Commander Hans Lanok. In response, from the Apothecary, he has issued orders to the 90th Death Korps of Krieg Grenadier regiment, also known as the "Butchers of Krieg", to slaughter the rebels in the city. However, as the Butchers hadn't gotten their nickname for nothing, it was unlikely only the Rebels would be targeted. 1 hour after the Grenadiers arrived, artillery begun firing at the city, at least 500 pieces of artillery firing in a rolling barrage. Each hour, when the firing stopped for a matter of only minutes, the Butchers went in to drag out some corpses, witnesses spotting the Butchers eating it, not even bothering to send it off to the Ministry of Corpses to be made into Corpse Starch, the guardsmen looking more like Khorne worshippers than Guardsmen.

After days of artillery barrages, with almost 0 life left in the city, a bayonet charge was made into the city, with civilians and rebels alike being seen being torn apart by the recently created company of 'Astartes' by the Krieg, called the Soldiers of the Great War, fighting alongside the Butchers who showed no mercy, firing lasgun and stabbing bayonets into anyone they saw who was not part of the Krieg government or militias. The Butchers, unlike the usual televised execution of a rebel leader, instead had the Soldiers of the Great War take him to the Mechanicum to be made into a Servitor, knowing the fate was worse than anything they could give him, artillery resuming their barrages when the Astartes had left the area. The few survivors that the Grenadiers had found were executed by lasgun or by noose, their corpses feasted upon by the Butchers.

[HEADLINES] Same-Sex Marriage Officially Legalized, Government Claims Religious Reasons

Merely a day after the Makko Okoan Government officially celebrated the ban on same-sex marriage in the Spiritual Republic of Caryton, the Emperor officially announced the enactment of the Citizens' Unionization Act which is seen as civil rights legislation geared towards civil unions and marriage. The law officially established that same-sex marriage was legal within the nation and would be recognized by the state, along with establishing the basis for religion-controlled marriages, where only priests may marry individuals to one another.

Previously, same-sex marriage had been unofficially banned within the nation and you would be arrested for even being in a sexual relationship with one of the same gender. These attacks on homosexual rights only became more official after the enactment of the Life Security Act, where any body-changing or gender-changing procedures in relation to LGBTQ+ were banned from being conducted within the nation. The Citizens' Unionization Act would be the first law in the history of the empire to actively support and open up gay rights, with the last gay rights legislation being the Homosexual Protections Act during the era of the Republic Of Makko Oko.

OkoTV News asked the Emperor for comment on what led to such a sudden change in position on gay marriage, and they responded saying "Gay rights, as are any rights that may be granted, are fickle and quite unstable. While I personally, don't support gay marriage, and I may never do such a thing, as it pertains to Satanism, it is allowed. Ministry Of Diplomatic Affairs Announces FUNIA Expansion Round

Today the Ministry Of Diplomatic Affairs officially announced that the FUNIA program, after exiting the pilot period successfully months ago, would finally be getting some new nations added to the list. In what the ministry declared the "1st Round" of expansions for the FUNIA program, the following nations have been added to the list and are immediately authorized to take part in the program:

Within the same announcement, the Ministry Of Diplomatic Affairs also announced the establishment of the PLAP (Preliminary Approval Program) for the FUNIA program, which allows nations to be able to be added to the program quicker, but have more limited perks than those of fully approved nations. At this time, the ministry stated, the only perk not authorized for preliminary approved nations, are permanent residency, with every other perk being authorized. Khovezzem is the first nation to be in the PLAP, with Izakuria being fully approved.

The final announcement, the ministry states, is the launching of the FUNIA Application Portal (FUNIA-AP), where governments may apply to have their nations added into the FUNIA program, and intends to make use of the PLAP. While not much is known at this time, and the government refuses to comment on the matter, it is said that the legislation would cover every realm of rights imaginable, from freedom of speech, to anti-discrimination, and would be the defacto replacement to what was originally written in the Basic Rights.

One insider says that the government intends to recruit international assistance due to the magnitude of the legislation at hand. Is it true? That remains to be seen, and not one government official will corroborate the story. We'll just have to wait and see what happens.

OBC Gets Involved In Bidding War With Box Office

The Oko Broadcasting Corporation today officially announced a public bid to buy out the Makko National Sports Network of $700M+ SLO's, against the Makko Oko Box Office, with whom are currently in discussions to buyout MNSN. What brought on the bid in question remains to be seen, but both companies are government-owned, and may just cause diplomatic infighting and only hinder the chances of a successful acquisition. The Emperor could not be reached for comment at this time.

In a statement, MKBO Comptroller Jared Holladay said "We honestly were not expecting this to happen, and it is only hindering our chances of a successful acquisition. MKBO has no further comment on the ongoing deal at this time or on this public bid offering."

Hakob Sevan, the first (and only) President of the International Humanitarian Coalition has, according to authorities, passed away due to injuries sustained in today's deadly shooting. Perpetrated by Zarmayr Papazian, an extremist with (supposed) ties to the now-deposed government of Arslan Simonyan, this 'act of rebellion' (as Papazian put it) was meant to kill many more people including the Governor of Armavir, and several high-ranking Grand Alliance officials. The reasoning is believed to be either a reprisal for his support of the new government, or for his support of neutrality...as investigations have shown that Papazian was ardently pro-Janpia and pro-KTO. No matter what his true intentions may've been, Papazian has been, in record time, convicted of murder, and is expected to be hung in Vagharshapat in the coming days...coinciding with Sevan's funeral. Many a dram have been raised in honour of the late Sevan's family, and friends...most of which is supposed to help support them in these oh-so-terrible times.

Sevan's post as the President of the IHC is to be filled by an (interim) successor...of whom has yet to be announced.

A Rebel Group calling itself The Anti-Imperium Federation of Earth (TAIFE) has begun an uprising throughout the entirety of the Chinese coast, with Krieg forces being dispatched to attempt to quell the Rebellion. As Lord General Clovis Praxum was being escorted throughout the city of Shanghai, a gunshot rang out from a roof. Screams erupted from crowds who fled, with a guard being heard shouting "THE LORD GENERAL IS DEAD! FIND THE SNIPER!". TAIFE has claimed responsibility for the assassination, with a man named Feng Tao, a suspected leader of the Resistance, having claimed responsibility for the attack. As a squad of Krieg went into Shantou, they were fired upon from buildings, with them having to quickly rush into a home and hold it.

Krieg forces were gaining word of the uprising, with only 2 forces being able to be spared for it, the 90th Death Korps of Krieg Grenadiers "The Butchers", and a small company of 200 Guardsmen. They were deployed first to Shantou to reinforce the squad, which was taking heavy fire. The regiment was immediately surrounded by rebels, starting to try to hold their ground. The radioman spoke into his Vox Caster, a message being broadcast. Part of the message requested help from the "Sons of the Great War", with drop pods entering the atmosphere, crashing into buildings throughout Shantou. A Baneblade arrived as well, firing upon any rebels in sight, as the Sons of the Great War started to fire their Bolters and Heavy Bolters at the rebels, helping the Guardsmen hold their position.

The doctrines of the Revolutionary Navy revolves around protecting the ships with advanced CMS to intercept targets. This is further improved thanks to the AI program, allowing our warships to intercept unsupervised projectiles automatically! A state of the art indeed! Lately, the Revolutionary Missileers and the navy undertook a project to equip our ships with anti-ballistic missiles, sort of like THAAD, so there's also that. Surely, this will continue on giving us the edge! What does the Atlantican have? North Korean tanks? Psst, that is an easy prey to top attack missiles! Or a proper anti-tank weapon! Unlike the JP-2, it has laser detectors which automatically activates white phosphorus to block their targetting, a top active protection system against javelins, and an armor that is enough to stop even APFSDS! Oh, and with its APS, it can detect where the enemy shot at, revealing their position! Chemicals? Poison? Environment? I'm sure NBC protection covers it. Nukes? After the recent remarks made by supporters of the Marajarbian Federation and Signers of the Japan BDS, the Imperial Cabinet has passed an Executive Order to block all JBDS Signatories and Supporters access to the Suez Canal, Gibraltar, and Malacca which will be enforced by all branches of the Imperium Armed Forces. Any violation of this will result in military action against the violator. On the sorrowful day of August 14, 2022, at 0930, the entire Krieg force near the Coast of China has been completely encircled, with the only hope being a breakout now. At 1049, the 905th Company has tried to buy time for the regiment to escape, using their few artillery, firing their remaining shells as the company suicide-charged the main rebel force, buying a small amount of time for the entire Regiment to escape with their baneblade. It was on this day that the 905th Company had truly earned their names, more names put onto a monument for Krieg martyrs. The Sons of the Great War were slaughtering any rebel in their path, buying the regiment time to push into the city.

At 1100, the main force was in the city, going building to building, killing any rebels in sight, setting explosives throughout the city, with a small contingent of the force searching for the leader of the rebels, Feng Tao. The Contingent took heavy fire, with rebels detonating Improvised Explosives to attempt to destroy the Baneblade. The city was in ruins within hours, with the rebels being hunted down. It was believed that Feng Tao had escaped to Xiamen or Quanzhou, with the Krieg beginning to march yet again, splitting into 2 smaller forces to hit both cities at once.

CONFEDERATE NAVY DISPATCHES FLEETS ABROAD; REACTIVATION OF NIMITZ SUPERCARRIERS

Following yesterdays issuance of an executive order by President Mileethus Canisilus, top brass in the Confederate States Navy announced today the movement of fleets in compliance with the orders of the President

"The President has issued Executive Order #5437C, detailing support for the United Revolutionary States of Janpia both economically and militarily," announced Admiral Azeem Goldsmith, who has taken over much of the Navy's representation to the press in recent months. "The Confederate States Navy has complied with the orders of its Commander in Chief to the best of our capability. What assets we do not already have on active patrol in Gholgoth have been activated. Additionally, several dozen merchant marine vessels have been contracted or allocated for the purposes of humanitarian operations and supply transport to better coordinate our response to these orders issued."

At the press briefing with Admiral Goldsmith, details were released of task force movements and allocation. The five Nimitz-class Super Carriers left within the Confederate States Navy, all due for decommissioning procedures, have been reactivated with crews already in the process of replenishing the ships supplies, munitions, and aircraft. CVN-80 CSS Aries, CVN-81 CSS Exeter, CVN-82 CSS Pathfinder, CVN-83 CSS Glassford, and CVN-84 CSS Cerberus had all already been returned to their home ports for decommissioning procedures by earlier this year, with the last to arrive being the CSS Glassford. However, due to delays and the potential for a nation-wide crisis, the carrier decommissioning procedures were significantly delayed. The last two to arrive in their home ports, CSS Glassford and CSS Exeter, were kept in a state of readiness in the case of a national emergency.

"Chief Admiral Dave Evans has ordered the immediate dispatch of CSS Glassford from her berthing in the State of Lexington. She will be the first super carrier to respond to the executive orders, along with a contingent of escort ships that has been determined by availability and readiness," Admiral Goldsmith had said during the press briefing. "At this time, this task force consists of two battleships, four cruisers, seven destroyers, a submarine, and one fleet tender to comprise the makeup of Naval Task Force Glassford."

Information relayed to the press following the conclusion of the meeting detailed the names and classes of ships involved, as well as further details concerning the Naval Task Force Glassford. The Confederacy-class Battleships BBGN-871 CSS Commonwealth and BBGN-863 CSS Saratoga are intended to be carrier escort ships for the high seas, with the CSS Commonwealth having been recently constructed and launched following sea trails earlier last year. The four cruisers are listed as Ticonderoga-class, though no ship names were immediately listed signaling that the Confederate Navy was still allocating the units. The six destroyers are a mixture between two Edmond Goff-class Guided Missile Destroyers and four Spruance-class destroyers; The DDG-19 CSS Rodger Williams and DDG-32 CSS Jennifer Eunice Hawkins comprise the Edmond Goff-class compliment while the DD-15 CSS Kilberry Hines, DD-25 CSS Powder River, DD-23 Arnoldson Town, and DD-05 Jaketown comprised the Spruance-class compliment. The submarine was listed in the press release as "activated and on duty", however was not named, though sources suspect there is a high likelihood of it being a Thursday-class Nuclear Attack Submarine or a Stiletto-class Nuclear Attack Submarine as both were present in the area of the CSS Glassford during reactivation.

The fleet tender mentioned during the press conference is the Plymouth City-class Auxiliary Destroyer Tender Ship ADTS-03 CSS Small Rock, which was publicly listed as being in the area of the Supercarrier Glassford tending to patrol boats in the vicinity. It has since been dispatched to Naval Task Force Glassford following a replenishing of its stores and supplies and is expected to merge with the Naval Task Force in a few hours as of this press release. It is being escorted by the Spruance-class destroyers CSS Kilberry Hines and CSS Powder River, which will also merge with the Naval Task Force upon arrival.

"We do not anticipate to activate any of our Anagonia-class or Elliot Armstrong-class Strike Carriers for these necessary patrols," Admiral Goldsmith said in response to a question from the press concerning the activation of strategic Anagonian carrier assets. "These assets are vital to the protection and patrol of domestic trade lanes and the homeland of Anagonia. In addition, all Boxer-class Light Carriers are presently on Anti-Piracy assignments across Gholgoth and cannot be allocated elsewhere. It has therefore been made a national defense priority that all Nimitiz-class Supercarriers be reactivated and assigned with their respective fleets as soon as possible."

The press briefing ended with Admiral Goldsmith going over the planned and expected departure dates of each Naval Task Force. Naval Task Force Glassford is already underway and heading towards areas of required patrol along international trade lanes. Naval Task ForcesExeter and Pathfinder are expected to depart within the next two weeks. Naval Task Forces Cerberus and Aries are not expected to depart until next month, due in part to the fact that the CSS Aries was almost in the process of being stripped and the CSS Cerberus will need to undergo refitting of critical systems. The Confederate States Navy has called upon the Lexington National Shipyards to assist with the Cerberus and Aries, whose help is expected to significantly improve the chances that both Supercarriers will depart by next month or sooner if procedures go smoother than planned.
