ZN military does ICBM/nuclear tests

Following Armenia's declaration of war, ZN military has officially tested it's 600 KT nuclear warhead on a immitation city in Northern Zarnicovia Nova. The city was around 300 square meters in size and included government building replicas.

A 612.36 Kiloton ZN Tactic nuclear warhead. A less then moderately sized warhead was detonated inside the city and monitors and CCTV took measurements and video of the nuclear explosion. Tho the measurements of stuff such as heat, pressure etc. were not released by the military, the CCTV footage was. Posting it on social media with the caption 'Yerevan, when war'

AZNUP also tested their ICBM streghth when a ZN ICBM was launched from bases in Brazzillia going across Phenyzia to land a 1.2 Kiloton convention comfirm hit in the Black Sea just inside Phenyzian seas in the Black Sea. Successfully avioded the test's counter-measures by both Phenyzian and ZN boats and systems.

New Rome, NRI – While taking questions from reporters today, Caesar Bellator called the Concord of Independent States (CIS) an “Axis of Evil”. He declared this when asked about what the New Roman Imperium’s perspective was on the fledgling alliance. “Cult of Grand Unity, Phenyzia, Zarnicovia Nova, and Romanic Imperium represent an Axis of Evil. Some may call these international menaces. Authoritarianism anywhere is a threat to democracy everywhere.”

CIS is made up of many nations that are guilty of crimes against humanity. The creation of CIS was directly caused by, and indirectly supported by, GENA when Phenyzia was removed. During the press conference, the new alliance was announced.

Admiral Rao was standing in the CIC of the URS Twilight, the flagship of the Remnant 6th Fleet and the present Olympian-Class Aircraft Carrier. Gone was the open open and proud fanaticism when he could reflect on his position from a distance. Now, the Admiral was stroking his mustache as he watched the digital feedback on the CIC's 2D map of the region, live updated through the Overlord System which was informed via the GRCS's satellite networks. The situation was becoming increasingly interesting, and if the hushed comments forming through rumint were to be believed, this was only representative of the global situation, in which eager new nationstates rising in hungry new alliances fought for domination and control. This could be just one of many boiling points, and Rao would do everything in his power as the commander of his unit to professionally and competently prosecute this situation as any commanding officer of the Remnant Military should be expected to do. Rao might have been a religious Pravilo zealot and a vicious Remnant Nationalist, but he hadn't been granted this position of power as a Sinican, worse a Namavarian Sinican through devotion or divine manipulations alone. He was one of the most competent naval commanders in the Remnant Navy.

Where he now stood, the carrier was currently sitting one hundred miles North of the northern mouth of the English Channel, facing down the Channel, as if seeing their foe over the horizon. In a ten mile ring around the Twilight were ten Odin-Refit Zeus-Class Destroyers. In a twenty mile ring around the carrier were a further eight cruisers and six frigates, all as equally old as their destroyer siblings, but each with their own refits and updates over the years to bring them up to parity with their equals, let alone upstart navies with foundling commanders.

25 miles northeast and 25 miles north of the Fleet were the Fleet's non-combatant ships, the 6th Fleet's LCACs and amphibious assault ships, which were all only carrying a few naval security teams and confidentially unidentifiable personnel as "amphibious landing" forces. The auxiliary squadron's tender's, tankers, and replenishment ships. The support squadron's minehunters and logistical support ships waited nearby as well. All protected by ten littoral combat ships, which at this point in their development, were small destroyers, and their ten smaller cousins, the fleet's corvettes.

The fleet's twenty patrol boats and forty fast attack craft were variously patrolling within the fleet's control zones, patrolling the "dead water" between the Carrier's strike group and its support elements, being hooked up for maintenance and resupply, and pushing the boundaries of the zones of control.

Starting twenty-five miles out from the northern mouth of the English Channel and going out to fifty miles were arranged the fleet's complement of eight nuclear attack submarines and eight diesel submarines, laying low or silently patrolling the 25-mile band from coastal zone to coastal zone of Britain and the Netherlands.

A week's distance out was the 1st Naval Task Group, which was just the supercarrier URS Titan and her complement. She was Twilight's larger sibling ship, and built much more recently, but running along so alone made her vulnerable.

Much of the Twilight's aircraft complement were grounded, as was most of the rest of the Fleet's. Aircraft threatened further attention, and the fleet was attempting to be somewhat stealthy. There were currently only two carrier air defense flights out currently, a total of four aircraft circling at a fifty mile radius from the carrier, ready to respond to any threat that closed in on the fleet too rapidly and aggressively.

Rao watched the live display as the Romanic Fleet was in the English Channel. The map was able to be zoomed out to include those of the Marasalian, Dorian, and Roman navies, which were also arrayed within the theater, their positions largely identified by IFC command channels and roughly updated via the GRCS's own Overlord System.

He smiled slowly to himself. Neither fish nor foul could alter the expected outcome of this confrontation.

According to the newest poll data of the New Fieldland University Polling and Research Office, only 43.2% of the nation believes trade globalism, the position of being somewhat reliant on other countries, is good, while 52.8% believe Olpen should become self-reliant.
This sparks a major difference in public opinion, as previous polls have pointed to a wish to cooperate with the international community in matters of trade. However, this was not unexpected as isolationism is taking hold in the nation and anti-interventionism is naturally spreading to the economic sphere in the form of self-reliance, or autarky. Olpen Joins Internation Workers Union

Press official announces IWU support

Chamber Minister Skinner has announced that the government of South Olpen will provide full support to Olpenese unions wishing to join the Meretican-based International Workers Union founded earlier in the year. A statement from the Ministerial Palace said that he supports any endeavors to give the global citizens an opportunity to better their lives by participating in the democratic system.

The Chamber Minister and his government have always strived towards the advancement of civil and personal rights. Among these is the right to fair employment. For this reason, he has instructed the Department of Trade and the Department of Foreign Affairs to aid workers and unions as they cooperate with the International Workers Union.

Roman Armed Forces Readiness Status Increased

New Rome, NRI – In the midst of tensions spiking following the Armenian declaration of war on Zarnicovia Nova, the NRI's Ministry of Defense has increased the readiness status of its armed forces. Many naval vessels in port have been seen being loaded with supplies. These are ships of both naval major commands. All military base security have been increased as well. In a statement, the Minister of Defense said "I have ordered this status update out of an abundance of caution. I do not expect war to come, and I hope it will not, but the NRI will be ready to support its allies if it does."

The case soon begins with the usual spiel of a recount of events, the shooters seem to smile, until it came time to the gun battle, which forced them to stand bravely and face the music. However, there were a few objections. They were shot down quickly, as soon there was open discussion allowed between the judges, jury, and the defendants.

"So now, do the defendants plead guilty to their crimes against hu-"

"Nay."

"Im... Sorry?"

The judges seem to look on in mild shock, as one of the shooters smugly stood, raising his hands, only to show off the middle finger to the court, while repeating their response.

"I said, nay. No. I refuse. I am not guilty of a so-called crime against humanity, as there never was one to begin with."

The jury stares on in silence with the judges, with a few audible gasps from the jury themselves, before they start audibly protesting against the defendants. Once again, a judge slams the gavel to restore order.

"ORDER, ORDER I SAY! May the defendant explain their reasoning, then, despite the fact that clearly, the case is already made, though we only need to decide a suitable punishment for the guilty... Regardless of their reasoning."

"-Innocent, rather. You see, we were not killing these so-called 'people'. We were, simply, exterminators. We are helping to curb a greater threat to the world. The very filth that was left to grow here. These 'people' you wish to defend? They are hardly people. Just filthy rats in human clothes. If I had my way, this entire place would be coated in their blood, and I'd be walking a free man. I suppose simply rotting in a cell would be no different, then. I'll get out eventually. Just you wait."

To that end, a judge faints, as paramedics are called for, before the gunmen begin to smile, soon nodding and standing almost in agreement with one another. Yet, a hard crack of the gavel shuts them up before they could even begin to retort.

"Order... In that case, I suppose further input from the guilty is no longer necessary if all they will do is dig themselves their own grave. The jury shall take their leave, to decide the punishment, while we shall wait to see what comes of it."

The next two days are used for this, though in those two days the prisoners are marched to their cells, and kept inside, being deprived of sleep and comfort, as they were trapped in a small supermax cell for isolated containment.

What is war without cruelty? The Concord of Independent States and her allies have answered: nothing.

Shortly after the Armenian government declared war against Zarnicovia Nova; both for their ongoing genocide and their threats towards democracies everywhere, two of their allies, the "Awesome Imperium" and Phenyzia, encircled the fatherland; resulting in massive famine and forcing many to move further into the country, settling in urban environments and causing overpopulation crises...despite the CIS' claims to the contrary, this directly proves whom is in the right, and whom is in the wrong.

No, the CIS doesn't just commit indirect suffering...but purposeful, sadistic, senseless devastation too. Enter what was once countless villages. Authorities - most of them a part of the National Security Service, were shocked to discover them both completely abandoned, and in states of complete destruction. There were no signs of retaliation.
