The ship rendezvoused with the Shazbotdom Frigate group, and prepared to make its journey into the Strait of Gibraltar, which had been militarily conquered by Phenyzia on 6/17, but already had a suprisingly significant garrison, at least according to intelligence satellites and radar returns from the destroyer.

The destroyer was more than prepared for a mass attack, carrying no fewer than 100 anti-aircraft missiles, significant electronic warfare capability, and the ability to tap into long range radar returns as provided from the Defensor carrier group. Additionally, with the 8 additional radar platforms provided by the frigate group, it was unlikely the ship would be caught lacking. Still though, no stops were held back. As the ship approached, it dropped sonar/radar decoy buoys, attempting to make it appear to the enemy that it was in fact multiple ships, in an attempt to prevent an engagement by a likely tired armed forces.

As it dropped the buoys, it also had its search/track radar and targeting radar working, as well as its sonar. All of this information was being looped into the Castelo air defense software, that allowed the ship to perform emergency air defense autonomously, This software was active but on standby, relying on an immediate activation if the ship's crew detected a "vampire".

On top of all of this, the reconnaissance drone on the ship would be shadowing the ship, flying high above to take a peak deep into the Iberian peninsula, which was occupied by Phenyzia. This, ideally, would alert the ship to any potential threats coming deep within the Iberian peninsula long before radar detection were plausible. Tácito Belo was not looking for a war, but it was ready for one if it needed.

As the ships prepared to approach the straight, a call was made by the ship to all communication frequencies:

We are a Marasalian Naval Security Force Destroyer. We are transiting through international waters with due regard for international law, as afforded to us by the Law of the Sea and the treaties regarding this passage.

On the deck of the carrier, three planes prepared to take off: a long range strategic recon drone which could identify launch signatures from 300km away, as well as run ELINT and SIGINT, tactics which should be fine to deal with the heavily dated military equipment in use by Phenyzia. Additionally, two manned AWACs craft prepared to take off, to give a full AW coverage of the AO. These aircraft would stay quite the distance though, to prevent the Phenyzians from being able to get shots on target one, and to hopefully also to keep them from panicking and attacking the 9 ships entering the strait.

A small group of SDF troops and other personnel ran throughout the hallways of an OSDF cargo ship passing by those getting attacked by their comrade undead while the other SDF troops and security forces fired back with their blasters the crack and bolt could be heard and the sizzling sound of it hitting something hopefully something organic. While the group was making their way toward the bridge of the ship. As the alarms and sirens went off on a constant loop which didn't help in the current situation as during their run towards the bridge the group got attacked with some being dragged into rooms, being pulled into vents, or getting killed by blaster-fired as the undead combatant picked up the weapons from the victims they killed and used them on the SDF personnel once the now small group of only 5 survivors made it to the bridge and sealed the door to prevent those things from entering they, however, realized they weren't the only ones there too.

Inside the bridge was the captain giving orders to the remaining ship's crew to send out a distress signal for help while the other few survivors made makeshift defensive barricades and were armed with any weapons they got ahold of.

The captain took notice of the newcomers. "I'm guessing you guys are what's left of the crew for this hellhole either way welcome to the remnant crew for the SDF Cargo ship Goodsmen we just sent out a distress signal however considering how our long-range relay is down and we have no idea whether or not we are in the range of a communication relay satellite we are entirely on our own-"

one of the surviving SDF troops yelled out to the other interrupting the captain "Hey! they're prying the doors open man your stations" and so everyone grabbed a weapon and hurried to a position and pointed their weapons at the door that was slowly being pried open.

the screeching of the metal doors being open slowly and knowing certain behind said the doors the survivors were afraid but had to stand their ground once the door was open to the point where they could see the attackers they fired away from the blaster bolts either hitting their intended target or hitting the metal doors resulted in giving it blast marks however no matter how many they killed the undead managed to get in grabbing ahold of anyone within range and killing them through brutal means until the captain was left deciding he would rather go out with a bang instead pull the pin from a grenade once the undead swarmed him the grenade finally went off killing him and the undead

Now there was no one left alive the remnant crew went out with one final defensive fight the cargo ship Goodsmen once a working and crewed ship now turned into a derelict husk of metal floating through the vacuum of space the only thing left was the distress message sent out however considering the odds they were in its unknown whether or not said message managed to reach a communication relay satellite until then it's a discovery by accident by other OSDF ships it will be mostly forgotten until then.

Two rockets take off from different launching pads at Katyechinci Peninsula Launch Site 1B, a little late on schedule. Of course, they were sent in intervals to avoid possible mid-course collisions, and other such problems. The mission control, manned by JURM (Janpian Union of Revolutionary Missileers) officers, directs each rocket as it completes the five stages, guiding it as it reaches towards its designated course. But prior to their launch, they make sure that the backup flight systems, flight system software, and guidance control are optimized and ready for use. The same goes at Point Gerov, where another 2 rockets were launched from different launching sites. These events were all watched by the Revolutionary Council alone, who all watched them live in the situation room. High members of the Revolutionary Army, the 4 Grand Revolutionary Admirals, and Airforce Marshals all watch in amazement and in horror, as they witness this expensive nightmare unfold. The Missileer Command thought highly of themselves and remarked to the rest:

"The thing that has been hidden for years; the thing that you always complain about us taking your resources, is revealed in its glory! Behold! Project Umbrella! Janpia can now live through nuclear war! Even in the face of humanity's most powerful weapon, the revolution will not be stopped! The Revolution will live forever!"

As the rockets reached their designated course, a few pads were released and unfolded 600km away. The mission control delicately controls and assembles them pod by pod. The main weapon, a laser, was attached to the EMP protected live servers, thus activating the said satellite. Meanwhile, the rockets also contained small early warning satellites that were immediately put to service. These new satellites were equipped with DIRCM measures, enabling them to be protected from heat-seeking ASATs and other such dangers.

On 10:00 AM, a Gralovian Space Shuttle (Vision) launches from Strussead Space Center, launching from Launch Complex 12A (LC-12A): The pad designed for launching rockets having payloads of large as the Gralovian Griffin. (600ft rocket, which launch platform was switched to the sea because it can threaten nearby human population during its launch.) The marvelous engineering behind this titan shows its beauty. But unbeknownst to the public, it was armed with missiles, intended to protect launches from attack during the establishment of a planetary colony.
It was a magnificent sight to watch from the observation deck and to admire the spacecraft. It's impressive in size, having a large rocket on its back, and 2 more on the main booster's side. It looks so majestic when it takes off, the rocket rising out of view.


The shuttle itself was designed for high-altitude missions that can improve efficiency whenever establishing a space station or resupplying stations and colonies. When it was first tested, the shuttle could reach over 500km. But now the distance is higher, Gralovian Scientists pushed it far into its limits, further improving its true potential.
One hour past noon, a man wearing the standard uniform of a Surveyor is sitting at his desk in a room full of monitors, watching as a screen displays the launch of the Griffin. The Department of Defense had told them that the Vision would be escorting their rocket, but they did know about its armament. But either way, it reaches orbit, and goes forward to its original mission, with the aid of Vision.
The Mission Commander sits down on the chair behind his desk, looking at his monitor. He has to say, the flight was quite smooth, if not fast. Both the staff team and the engineers already checked if there was something wrong, but thankfully for him, it wasn't. And that means he won't get fired from his job.
"Good work, Commander," said an officer standing next to him. "The launch went well."
"Yes, it did," replied the commander, "I just hope it doesn't crash."

"Don't worry too much," another colleague said. "Our technology is advanced enough we'll fix the issue before anything bad happens."
The commander sighed in relief. He had been worried since last night about what would happen if the launch somehow ended up breaking down after all. And now it turned out everything went smoothly. The launch didn't cause any problems, and the scientists were able to make sure nothing went wrong during their flight. That meant they did a good job!

After the strikes had done their job, with forces rapidly advancing, another group ("borrowed" from the fleet due for Oregon) sets their sights upon Kodiak Island, aiming to reclaim the sole USCG base there and any equipment that may be left.

As the battles rage on in the Alaskan cities, extending into the forests, the frozen north rapidly heats up with the mass deployment of incendiary weapons, along with the activation of the 15th Incendiary Weapons Division in the area, if it wasn't already done prior. Due to the storm however, chemical weapons were not deployed, though incendiary weapons were starting to face questionable effect beyond napalm delivered by aircraft and limited use of thermobaric weapons.

In any case, combat slows to a crawl, with scant footage showing combat in blizzard conditions, as determined infantry attempt to advance with armor into the cities, getting ambushed by the locals. Urban warfare in these conditions were hellish, despite these units having been deployed repeatedly in the antarctic to conduct military exercises. The 27th were not present to assist them either, though the J-105s and J-102Cs were operating to the best of their pilot's ability, forced to grant them cover while ADC-160s were en route to offer support. Limited support, mind you.

It's a frozen hell for both sides, as losses climb quickly.

General Secretary Josias von Romanov, the head of the newly formed imperial government, has proposed a new program dubbed the Romanov doctrine which, thanks to direct approval from the Reichsrat, has already passed the Reichstag as well.

The Romanov Doctrine calls for a few major points:

1. Achieving full nuclear parity with the entire rest of the world.

2. An increase of military spending to 40% of the government's budget, additionally police and security services will receive approximately 25% of the government's annual budget.

3. Increase of conscription from 24 to 30 months.

4. Nationalization of several vital industries under oligarchs and nobles known to be loyal to the empire.

5. A program to support 'friendly states' who may end up under the assault of corrupt western democracies. This program is intended to improve global stability and discourage military actions against states considered to be friendly to the empire.

In other news:

Purifier Regiments of the Imperial Guard are being activated and deployed from Siberia to Western Europe, these special anti-terrorrism and counterinsurgency units will aid the Imperial Military in bringing peace to the newly liberated and integrated western european territories.
This decision follows the on-going heavy urban combat in some major cities. Purifier Regiments have been used to great effect in other conflicts in the past.

Occupied Paris

TB-17 bombers were en route to the southern part of the city, insurgents had been an issue in one particular district, acting as a thorn in the local garrison's side.

Now however things were about to change, as the TB-17 had been given the order to flatten the entire district. Imperial soldiers were evacuated a few hours prior and hat set up barricades and checkpoints around the outskirts and the moment the squadrons of TB-17 reached Paris a total blackout of power and signals was forced upon the city, ensuring that there would be very little evidence.

Soon the first part of the counterinsurgency operation began, TB-17 squadrons moved in from the north and east, striking entire city blocks with a mix of freefall thermobaric cluster munitions or napalm. Soon a large part of Paris was turned into a literal hell.

That however was only the first part as, following the heavy bombings, the Purifier regiments of the Imperial Guard began to move in, utilizing the specialized MTW Säuberer heavy APCs. The fate of the survivors was to fall to machine guns and heavy flamethrowers mounted on the vehicles.

Moving from city block to city block the purifier regiments went through the gruesome process of eliminating anyone left standing, and with them the insurgents.
Once a block had been cleared the military units followed, moving their checkpoint further inwards. All who stand against the empire pay the ultimate price, as the insurgency would most likely be more brutal and prolonged than the actual fighting had been.

Babylonian military set for fresh offensive on July 1st.

Minister of Defence, Kadin Darwish, one of the youngest members of the East Babylonian Cabinet, has announced that the military is "prepared and ready for ISIS". After victory in Ammah, which saw ISIS Troops retreat to several small towns a few miles east of the capital of Jordan, over 10,000 troops were reportedly tailing off towards where the ISIS Troops's assumed positions are, with other reports suggesting modern artillery is set to deployed. Mr Darwish, who has been both criticised and praised for his recent victories over ISIS, with the opposition calling his lack of action "morally wrong and a failure of protection". If victory is sealed in Jordan, then Darwish suggested that "victory will be ours to lose". With ISIS's disputed territories being far and wide, it seems now after a Babylonian Victory in Ammah that the ISIS threat is set to be beaten, after 15 years of struggle against them.

Darwish is expected to meet with the leader of the Jordan Revolutionary Army to begin strategy talks, as-well as meeting with several generals over new offensives for the next few weeks. Despite almost all reports suggesting that a Babylonian victory over ISIS, some reporters have suggested that Babylonia "must be victorious in the next 3 weeks" - with many suggesting that if the military is not successful in ousting the ISIS threat by the end of July, then many of suggested that the Babylonian army would not have the capability to continue their now 5-week offensive. With Saudi Arabia expected to begin supporting the cause, with rations and long-range missiles to be deployed within 2 weeks, Darwish has said that "we expect an ISIS retreat in 2 weeks, and an overall victory in 5 weeks".

Tariffs set to introduced on Iranian and Turkish goods, says Minister of Trade

Minister of international trade, Hashim Amer, has announced that for the first time since 1999, a tariff increase will occur when goods from the rivals of Turkey and Egypt. With tariffs currently at it's record lowest of 7%, the minister said in a recent interview over the relationship with Egypt and Turkey that "A combination of Egyptian aggression and Turkish ignorance may lead to an introduction of harsher tariffs". Mr Amer has said that the decision was a combination of international security issues and economic problems facing us domestically". The rise is expected to come by the end of month, and is projected by analysts as to see an increase from 7% to 20%, which will put tariff levels to 1970's levels.

Of what has been brewing for several months, other action over trade with Egypt and Turkey are expected to include a simple reduction in trade, although when Mr Amer was called on speculation of decreasing trade, he called it "economically stupid". However, effects over Babylonian citizens are mixed. Those bordering Turkey, such as Iraq and Syria, could see a decrease in consumer spending, due to 40% of food in imported from either Turkey or Iran, despite the government initiatives to increase domestic food production. Areas such as Kuwait, Lebanon and West Iran are unlikely to see large changes in spending. Analysts have suggested that the introduction of "old-school tariffs" could see an increase to poverty rate, as-well as a potential reaction of an increase of prices (inflation) on both domestic and foreign goods.

Glakford also hopes to see nations attend this diplomatic summit, and proceed with talks about making the world's future brighter. As we all know, there is always a time when progress must be made, if not for the sake of humanity, then in order to ensure that our futures are never plagued by war and famine. If one wants to continue living in peace, they must learn to accept change and change must come from the people themselves. Gralovian Head of State Soteris will be attending. It’s hoped that all attendees can bring themselves to look forward to more peace and harmony between nations, but at the same time, it is important to remember that this may be a difficult time for everyone. There are many reasons why countries have had problems accepting each other, some even being the result of misunderstandings or conflicts over resources. It isn’t uncommon for someone, usually an individual, to view another nation in a way that is in a way that is hostile to them or a threat to the security of their nation. However, despite that history, time proved that people have learned to accept others within their homes. It has been a long road towards acceptance, and we cannot stress enough how vital it is that we keep fighting for peace. If anything can push us into unity, it would be these new negotiations within Kotun.

GENA: Global Exterminators of Nations & Assemblers

Hello! I'm an Olpenese citizen currently living and working for the Front in Janpia. Since I was a teenager, I have been fighting for syndicalism in Olpen via democratic means. The government tolerated this, and although the wider majority of citizens didn't support me, I was not prosecuted by the government and I was allowed to support the global cause via peaceful means. The nation was allowed to make its own path, which it did.

In recent weeks, though, it is clear GENA wants to strip both of these freedoms. A memberstate of GENA, Phenyzia, made hundreds of headlines a month ago when they killed protestors in Victory Square. They made thousands when Phenyzia invaded Western Europe. Still today they are likely exterminating dissidents who are loyal to the Socialist cause, or simply just their own state. Their punishment? Their representative was not allowed to vote for 10 days.

The state of Talonica recently joined the GENA. Just days after, they announced a ban on peaceful protestors. When those in solidarity with global democracy objected and protestors, they were shot at by the police. The government banned 'secret gatherings', which surely will be used to execute thousands of thought criminals and those who do not bend the knee before the disgrace masquerading as a socialist state. It almost seems as though Talonica specifically timed this. Knowing that the GENA supports war criminals and fascists, I believe it in the realm of possibility that they knew they would be safe from repercussions if they were in the GENA.

This points to 1 thing; the GENA has centered around the support of fascists. Fascists are flocking to them for protection. This is only smart, as democracies are bound by treaties to support these terrorist states. GENA can no longer call itself the Global Entent of Nations and Alliances, they should be the Global Exterminators of Nations and Assemblers.

The Vengence, one of the most feared ships in the world embarked on a counter-piracy operation. Insurgents in Indonesia had gotten many supporters, Investors, corrupt officials, and arms dealers financing their insurgency against the Imperium in Indonesia. Through these patrons, the Maritime forces of said insurgents had acquired multiple frigates and smaller boats to harass Imperium shipping and naval assets. ACIA the foremost Intelligence agency of the Imperium had gotten information that Pirate vessels were in a port on the north-western side of Borneo. The Vengence had picked up the Signals of multiple medium and small vessels nearby. the Radar and sonar confirmed the vessels. Imperil One of the Escort Corvettes COrvt-010 was sent in to observe closer while the Vengence got in missile range. The corvette sent a radio transmission back to the destroyer, the bird is in the nest. Captain Maro Riveria ordered the attack and 30 surface Attack missiles were fired from the Vengence and accompanying destroyer Avenger. as the ships sailed away the Insurgent port lay in flames and in a blazing inferno. Only 20 out of 160 Pirates Survived and were taken prisoner for treason against the state. The Ships sailed home towards Singapore.

Senator Julieta Smith has given birth to the child of Chamber Minister Skinner. They were presumed to have been in a relationship since Sen. Smith joined the Senate Committee for State Security. The child was reportedly conceived during the visit of King Malcolm and the Meretican President to South Olpen. This has caused humiliation and commotion at the State Department as memes are spread displaying graphic events at the Olpenese Ministry of International Relations.
The child, named by her mother Hope, carries the name of the Chamber Minister. She is also going to live at the Ministerial Palace. The home of Senator Smith still remains up in the air, as some see it as a conflict of interest for the two to live together. It is also unknown whether the two will marry, and if so if it will be a state event.
The couple has officially confirmed that they are together. They are getting a common-law life partnership in the meantime. Chamber Minister Skinner's office has not spoken on this, despite many sources asking about the relationship. The only statement made is that Chamber Minister Skinner wishes to divide his personal and public life, although this has caused a stir among some.

They stop after hearing crunches nearby "HEY! IS SOMEONE THERE?" No response. The conscripts, without their officers to keep them in check, open fire. They then start hiding behind some nearby rocks and sandbags preparing for any return fire. They wait. Nothing, so one conscript walks forward to check what they shot at.

"HEY GET THE HELL OVER HERE" the conscript would yell. as more soldiers begin to assemble around the APC the door at the back falls of causing a deafening crash. Some conscripts are cut down, and the rest dash away. The radio operator, the only one that stayed back in cover radios "Command, Command, We're under fire, A-10 and about a dozen Nytoans. Requesting support asap. Over." Command quickly responds "Alright, a group of the guard is coming your way. Hold them back." The conscripts set up the portable UPG-22 LMG on a rock and start firing, but the barrel overheats and quickly the conscript fumbles with it, dropping it out of cover. "SHIT!" The small MRAP rolls up with the Ukcrossian guard. They run to cover along with the conscripts. Some, seeing the A-10 in the distance, begin fleeing, but 2 of the 3 conscripts fleeing are cut down, they return to their old positions. In the carnage, the LMG operator manages to grab the barrel, and inserts it, before firing again.

After almost 10 hours of rioting and violence, the Imperial forces were able to restore order. Currently rebuilding efforts are underway as well as mass arrests and police investigations, the city now spawning with military and police checkpoints have been established and police are also looking for identification to locate escaped prisoners rioters. Industrial fire sees 4 dead!

Yesterday saw 4 people dead due to a fire in one of the many industrial complexes of the City of Rizzah, an industrial town established in Southern Iraq in 2011 after 14 years of construction. One of the larger buildings was owned by majority shareholder and Indian Millionaire, Ridward Bashi, who had bought AV Clothing in 2008 for $4 Million, of which it's current worth is estimated at $25 Million, and is one of the biggest clothing companies in Eastern Babylonia, supplying cheap, fast fashion across many regions. It was reported that workers early in the morning had spotted smoke coming from one of the back rooms, until much of areas had been engulfed in flames. Thankfully, casualties remained fairly low due to the quick response from the Fire Department, however, criticism has come against Mr Bashi and AV Clothing, of which have seen the Workers Union, a trade union to defend workers within the manufacturing industry, plan to take legal action, suggesting Bashi had been paying workers less than the minimum wage, which is at currently $6.50, and that the poor working conditions led to the fire's outbreak and the death of 4 workers.

Other pressure groups such as Justice For Workers and No Pay-No Peace have also accused the fire's outbreak for poor working conditions. With over 15% of the Babylonian workforce under manufacturing jobs, trade union groups allow protection of the workers, although, due to the Trade Union Reform Act of 1980, which saw trade unions cannot take legal action without evidence of illegal activity, and made unions have less legal and political power over private companies, such as AV Clothing. Pressure groups have not just criticised AV Clothing, but have blamed the lack of regulation of private companies within the manufacturing industry and stagnated minimum wage, who's last increase was in June, 2015. Although legal action is unlikely, it is also unlikely that AV Clothing will go bust, as with their large range of stores across many regions of the Federation, and the Private Reform Act of 2021, which allowed expansion for companies over multiple regions without regulation.

12 Arrests made in Baghdad

It was reported by local police that 12 people had been arrested over suspicion of being involved, both in a financial and physical contribution, to the Rifunga Mafia, who control major drug routes within Iraq, Kuwait and Syria. Police had been deployed within the hamlet of East Basco in an attempted sting operation, of which East Basco has been infamous for it's violent gangs. The operation was successful, when police gathered information of the whereabouts of a wanted criminal, with his name to remain anonymous to the public. 8 people were initially arrested in East Basco, with a further 4 arrested in Central Baghdad on illegal financial investment. The government is expected to make an investigation into 3 separate companies for potential illegal shifting of money to the Rifunga Mafia, as-well as for financial corruption. The three companies are named;

- Montasa Banking - Public bank used for middle to high incomes.
- Bestich Hedgefund - Medium-sized hedge-fund company.
