However, the Ministry of Defense claims otherwise, while the current administration says the true number is likely around 100,000-300,000 as a given estimate. Regardless, this also means that Gonswanzan troops may be pulled from operations in Hidrandia, even as the front expands across the United States of Corruption and Lies! The Government of Charoskania has invested heavily in the Ministry of Defense nowadays, and the results are going fine. The Charoin Armoury has been developing Mountain-Portable artillery to help with the defense of Charoskania. Meanwhile, more SAM's are being built and are being placed in both the Mountainous and the Plains regions. The SAM's being produced by the Armoury are called the C-189s, which are developed to be more velocious. Armored Public Transport in Major Cities is being developed to protect the Citizens who choose to use them.

The final votes have come in from California and Alaska, resulting in a comfortable victory for Senator Maria Flores of Cedar Cove. Mysterious Attacks in Miami Leave Authorities Speechless
A series of odd attacks in Miami, Florida, has left the authorities confused and restless, especially as the attacks seem to be in connection with notorious mass murderer Stan B. Westroe-- who had been presumed missing or dead after a long period of inactivity. Dozens of victims have been found across the Greater Miami Area, with more being found by the hour. A sense of correctness overflowed Sinestra's mind, and it felt right. "Yes. Sinestra. That is my name. Thank you, Nicholar Flamel, for reminding me." And with that, Sinestra turned to look out upon the city of Charleston, South Carolina. Frowning, she turned away from the window. "We shall make for Miami tonight, yes?"

"Yes, Healer," Morrigan said. "Though I do not understand why we wait for the cover of darkness, nor why we must travel by plane rather than use our gifts."

"Because I have studied the signs and found that it is not yet time for our gifts to be in full use again," Sinestra answered. "And because my memory is failing. My one trillionth year nears. I shall not be among you much longer, my Apprentices, and that is why I have also ruled that you shall not reveal my name when we return to the public eye. In public, I am to be the Healer or one of the Lesser Names, not the Name; for the Name shall be shared only when the time is right, yes?" Her Apprentices nodded in agreement. "Good. Now, tell our allies, both young and old. The last of the Apprentices shall soon meet their fates.

Westroe and his people were jovial. They had launched two back-to-back attacks. Hundreds had been killed, and now, even in Vladivostok magicians were cowering under threat. Oh yes, yes, yes. Westroe's actions had brought enough death in for hundreds of demons across the world to spawn. Chaos was upon Earth. Chaos was good, so very good.
Westroe was at his Castle in Miami. Magicians had abandoned opening it like a dozen of them had been killed instantly when they had the misfortune of looking at Westroe. Still, he sensed that someone was at the gate, perhaps a rogue magician, naive and foolhardy. In any case, he summoned a portal. As he finished chanting, a meter-by-meter vortex of fire, screams, and death opened up. He stepped through, instantly slaughtering 2 dozen magicians at the entrance.
Stepping over the bodies, he made his way across the church. He slaughtered anyone, men, women, and children. Mortal Christians at the church and magicians alike were falling. 100 magicians down. He walked to the alter. With a flick of his wrist, the cross fell. Witha another, a mosaic of fire and brimstone entered its place. Satan grew stronger within Westroe. He made a throne, a terrible throne. The souls of all he killed over his life materialized into a glowing red throne. He chanted more. Magicians were pulled before the throne. They bowed.
He obliterated the roof and rose, his feet propelled by hatred and misery. He ripped the roof, its orange tiles ripping up as if he were a hurricane. He found the magician he was looking for. High Acolyte William Finch was in his war room. The 2nd most powerful magician in the world, second only to Cortot, was cowering in his office. Westroe encased him in a clear red coffin. With the force of hate and deceit, he rose it. He brought it before the Throne. Finch had no strength left. Westroe incinerated the coffin.
As the left victorious, Westroe and his lieutenants had killed almost 300 magicians; 3/4 of the North American population. They flew to the castle victorious, causing more damage in their celebration. When they were done, falling back into the shadows, Miami was little more then rubble (figuratively).

The Harrington reached ~50nm away from the Straights and came to a halt with the rest of the fleet. The skipper was in talks with Naval Command via a secure satelite link to discuss the situation and what should be done.

"So we are on station awaiting the arrival of the Marsalian fleet," Captain Keys stated with his headset on. "We havn't gotten an ETA on them, but we have Helo's on station doing perimiter checks 2 clicks out of the fleet, watching for anything coming over the horizon."

"Rodger that, Harrinson," Grand Admiral Rockenbach stated on the other end. "I want you on your way through the straights as soon as possible. If nessicary, do not wait for the allied fleet, as I want to make sure those supplies get to our researchers as soon as possible."

"Roger that, Sir," Keys replied. "We'll wait another 3 hours and if there is no sign of them, we'll pull anchor and start heading towards the straights. I am preparing a radio message broadcast on all military frequencies shortly notifying them of our intentions for a FONOP through the straights to get to our facility."

"Understood," Rockenbach replied. "We'll keep in touch and will touch base with you in 3 hours. Godspeed, Captain."

"They're planning on waiting for us to arrive to proceed with the FONOPs. Your ship will break from the fleet in 8 hours and change directions to approach from a different method. We don't know what the Phenyzians are planning for, so we'll take this as a precautionary method.

Your ship will enter the strait with its communication frequencies active, all radars active, towed and equipped sonar active. There will be no catching your ship off guard. In the event your ship or Shazbotdam group comes under attack, defend yourselves and destroy any noticed military installations in Gibraltar. We will surge forward with aircraft and missiles to ensure that Phenyzia cannot continue the engagement and every ship can escape the strait. Harrington, this is Rear Admiral Lower Half Evaristo Pinto of the Marasalian Naval Security Carrier Defensor, the Destroyer Tácito Belo will be on station in your location in about 14 hours. We will maintain a safe distance from yourselves and the Strait of Gibraltar, and provide assistance as needed. We are tenatively prepared to launch the emergency Freedom of Navigation Operation in approximately 15 hours, please state your position and readiness in such regard."

SCENE: 50nm South-West of the Straight of Gibraltar

The Harrington recieved the message from the MNS Defensor. The radioman motioned to Captain Keys and he walked over to the station and listened to the message that the system recorded. He grabs his headset, puts it on, and then pushes the button to open the channel back on a secure frequency, "We hear you Defensor. We will remain on station for 7 hours and 30 minutes and then start to move slowly towards the Straights. I suggest at the 7 hour mark on your approach, you pick a point between us and the straights and then start to head on an angle to reach us before we hit the straights. Our plan is to head at 3 Knotts until your group connects with ours, then hit flank towards the straights."

He took his headset off and set a timer on one of the displays to the agreed upon timeframe of 7 hours and 30 minutes. Then walked over to have a seat, taking some time to relax.

On a calm winter day, the crater-filled dirt field nearby an army artillery base sits under the sun, as a large destroyer-sized target made from sheet metal and plywood is rolled out onto the range, on rails, with a motor soon taking over as remote controllers watch the target. In the distance, an ADC-160 is fast approaching, wings pushed out as far as they could go, as the aircraft slows down prior to deploying its weapon. When the target is identified and trajectory calculated, the gunner adjusts the aim of the cannon prior to letting a singular round of HE rip through the sky.

"Target confirmed, coordinates confirmed, data confirmed. Fire when ready!"

"On the way!"

The round sails through the air, narrowly missing a few seagulls, before making impact with the target. On impact with the (poorly armored) bridge, the shell's fuse is triggered, though there's a mild delay as it pushes through the plywood and sheet metal, prior to detonating inside of the target, blowing off a large chunk of the mock bridge itself. The hit is confirmed, as the gunner adjusts with some input from the targeting computer.

"Hit! Target is still active! Engage!"

"On the way!"

Another round is fired, this one sailing a bit lower, though that minor deviation increases over distance, before the shell finds itself ripping into a spot just above the waterline, blowing it open as the motors driving the target get shredded by shrapnel and later catch fire.

"Target neutralized!"

With that, the weapon slides back into the aircraft, before the aircraft makes a descent for Gonswanza itself, the tests being deemed a success.

While the aircraft was first built and tested in 2020/21, they were only now being deployed proper in 2022, as part of Operation Eagle, due to demand for ground support aircraft given the threat of the A-10 Thunderbolt II against mechanized and armored units present. Even if Gonswanzan aircraft can hold them at bay, they can't possibly cover a theatre that spans the entirety of the west coast and parts of Alaska at once.

Problems of the JURA proposal

In the recent announcement, the Revolution Day is cancelled and moved till further notice. Also on the recent news, the ZAI-8 line is released for production. Yet if you look at JURA's proposal, a new main battle tank is supposed to be on our headlines 3 days ago. What happened?

To start and as a disclaimer, I am a worker under the Zelenny Union, in which we all swore an oath to maintain secrecy on development. Anything I said here, is free to be declassified as stated by my writer buddy on my side. Besides, we are the workers of Janpia's most reputable armored vehicle producers and designers! Of course we know how to keep secrets. So, about this delayed new tank, or the JURA proposal in general, the main problem and the reason why it is delayed is simple: The Revolutionary Navy, and the Missileers. Why? Well here's a short background:

It is known that during the selection process, the Revolutionary Council picked both the JURA and JURM proposal,(Janpian Union of Revolutionary Army, Janpian Union of Revolutionary Missileers respectively) which surprisingly, for the first time in decades, the navy proposal lost. The JURA and JURM proposal is well hidden from the public due to the security concerns of the Revolution. However, it is obvious by now, that one of JURA's proposal is a new main battle tank. Evidence? The supposed tank leak of the JP-2 with a silly hat on, the new ZAI-8-120, that fields a brand new 120mm tank gun, and many more coming from social media leaks.

So, why do I blame the JURM and the Revolutionary Navy for the problems and delay of the JURA proposal? Well first off, its about JURM's blackhole funding. No one knows where they spend the much needed HEAVY resources provided by the Ministry of Economy and Trade (MEAT), and where exactly will they use it on. According to the proposals, a whopping 66% of steel and electronics of the Revolutionary Council, is sent for the JURM proposal. Meanwhile, JURA only gets 18% of the much needed steel and electronics for research and development. If we balance this resources, we could've further hasten and complete JURA proposal, which is currently lagging behind schedule! We, the workers who defend the state established by the working class, wanted to give the state a perfect war machine for its defense! However, we need those supplies, for us to give a rightful machine for the state. Back on to the topic, noting its JURM. Either they make someting impractical, or an overly expensive, yet effective missile. Either way, no one knows what JURM is even developing.

Second, speaking as a worker for the Zelenny Union, not JURA, we lack those said resources! We are still experimenting on various ways of applicable armor, and testing out various guns to apply. The systems are already coded and ready for use, however, the material things is what we only lack. Guess why? As what I've written on the first reason, it is because of JURM's blackhole spending! Oh wait, there's more! Our already allocated resources meant for Zelenny Union, is spent on the Navy for their OPV expansion program! Those resources are already meant to us! Not to the navy! Why even have 4 branches of the Revolutionary Forces, when your all gonna drain it to the Navy and Missileers anyway? Sure we are an island nation. But you can't spell island without "land"! The OPV expansion is indeed a year ago; but atleast put time and resources for the JURA proposal instead.

Lastly, for the third reason, the Revolutionary Council has vague requirements and choices for the said proposal, or the selection process in general. Based on our recent acquisitions from Gonswanza, a heavy gunship, armed with a still classified cannon, is given to the navy instead. Originally, these gunships (said to be 5 or 6), are all supposed to be for the Revolutionary Army. This just shows favoritism in the Revolutionary Council.

The solution? By now, the proposal is a bit behind schedule, mainly because of favoritism, lack of allocated resources, and unclear assignment process. We can pick up the pace once again, and complete this proposal IF the Revolutionary Council and MEAT prioritizes supplies to the worker's unions that are responsible for the JURA proposal. Also add JURA prioritization on assigning new equipments, and an improved state planning. With that, the new shining JURA can now march proudly on the upcoming Revolution Day. Oh, and maybe do a little investigation of possible corruption. Our allocated resources is used for the Maricha Shipyard Union instead. Till then, me and my friends will wait at the train station, ready to take supplies from a crane.

A Discreet Location Full of Dead Magicians

This had been where Coryn Williams, son of Freedom Williams, had been sent to-- a dark, dangerous place that reeked of death. The air stank; had he been in another time or place, crows and vultures would be scouring the entire room. He could recall the images of battles in the distant past that the Healer had told him about, but never-- never had he ever imagined looking upon anything like this. He allowed his magic to roam around him, testing the air for anything that it might reveal. And reveal it did.

Coryn stooped beside a young woman; he could feel the blood filling her lungs. Death was close to her. The Healer alone would be able to save her, but it was too dangerous to move her-- not that there was time. "Let me ease your suffering," Coryn breathed in her ear. She opened her eyes-- bright but quickly dimming hazel-- and met his own. Her lips were caked with blood, each breath adding to the drops that covered her mouth. Coryn caused his magic to emit a sense of calm, cool collectedness, passing through to the young woman's heart. Her breathing slowed more quickly, and soon she was out of pain altogether.

"Rest in peace, my magical brethren," Coryn breathed quietly. A mercy killing. He'd do ne it too many times for being just 17 years old. Too many times. More times than he'd care to count, let alone admit. But at least his very existence was a secret. None that now lived, aside from the Healer and all of her Apprentices, ever realized that Freedom Williams-- widely considered among Mereticans as the greatest president to ever serve (though some gave that post to Roy Davis)-- had a son, let alone two of them. A pity that Hunter had died some time ago. Hunter Williams had been exceptionally skilled at mundane things: sports of all kinds, mathematics, and the like. History, language, and especially [I]magic had always been Coryn's area of expertise-- it was why he was a pillar of the academic community among the Apprentices despite his young age. Hunter had been magicless, but Coryn-- he had been special. Powerful. More powerful than many of his fellow Apprentices had been after centuries of training and practice.

He stretched out with his magic again, feeling the air, only to realize that he was alone once more. All the others were dead. The magical signatures of battle were faint and strong at the same time; a single feeling, emotion, or signature (he was having trouble distinguishing the three at that moment in time) overwhelmed all of the others. Scents and types cascaded over one another, clouding his inner powers. He sat down on a spot of stone clear of blood, bodies, or debris and cleared his mind as best he could, treating each different thing in the air like a radio station. He was trying to tune in to one specifically, one that he had been warned of long ago-- one of fear, anger, hatred, fury, and terror.

Coryn's eyes flew up and he lost his inner balance for a moment. "Abaddon," he whispered. "Ashmedai... Asmodeus has come..." His eyes grew wider as he began to process this before standing and immediately strengthening his defense as a precautionary measure. "If you are here," he called, "no matter who you are-- show yourself!"

Final Senate Results Finalized

The final results of the Meretican Senate elections have been finalized, with Conservatives losing 215-- most of them to the powerful Labor-Liberals, who took 197 seats. The Loyal Fedrilicans gained 12 seats; the Royalist-Monarchists gained 6. "We're very proud of our gains. Very proud," Senator Henry Hawthorne (LL, Albuquerque) said in a statement after seeing the final numbers. Hawthorne, who will become the leader of the Grand Coalition, gives credit for the victories to the grassroots organizers that motivated many voters to abandon the Conservatives after keeping them in power for several years. "The Meretican people are ready for a new agenda. An agenda that matches the needs of the people. I look forward to working with the people in the majority and great Senators like Ferris Hinterland, who I understand will be retaining his leadership role as Minority Leader, as we move Meretica forward."

Senator Hinterland (C, Pluto), 75, has confirmed that he will serve as Minority Leader in a statement that was released by his office. Hinterland "had hoped for a better election outcome" but "accepts the will of the people." "I'm excited to see what the new government is able to do, and I look forward to working with people in all parties on behalf of Meretica."

Gas Explosions Blamed for Deaths in Miami
Authorities have put a name to the many deaths that have taken place across Florida-- gas explosions. Experts believe that these explosions are being caused by potentially damaged lines that have rusted due to excess rain and exposed small pockets of gas. Beelzibub was waltzing around the Church. A close advisor to Westroe, and one of the few who claimed they were his friends, he was tasked with terminating any magicians from nearby Regions and slaying any cowards. But when he heard a voice call out, he was intrigued. He tried to sense the body of the voice, but when he sized their power, he was confused. It was neither Satanic nor Christian, but of a third denomination. It was not magical, as he saw with creatures, and it wasn't purely human, the power keeping one alive.
Nonetheless, he could tell it was weaker. He advanced, summoning spears, saws, and any number of weapons and torture devices. He was surely shocked when he saw it was only a kid. Undeterred, he pushed him down. He didn't even try, the sheer force of his power made him kneel. His swords and sabers surrounded him, but in a streak of playfulness, he decided to spare his life, instead of driving him mad. Perhaps he could even relay his vision to Westroe's enemies, shocking them to the point of surrender.
The horrid demon skimmed the kid's mine. He had a stronger will than most, his mind was protecting his closest memories faithfully but still, he was no match for the King of Flies. Once Beelzibub skimmed his memories to make a horror montage, he superimposed the montage over even his own mind. Images flashed. Desecrated graves displaying the name of his friends and Sinestra, and old women being tortured by serpentine demons. Westroe raising his home, his brothers scream loud inside.
And as the images were coming to a close, Beelzibub branded his soul permanently. Forever, he would be known to the Demons as the Demons know him. He branded his flesh too, a siz pointed star appeasing underneath his nails. And then, he sent him away to Scezonia. The Order was sure to surrender..

Acolyte Cortot was not well. In the sterile clinic, he had recovered most of his physical wounds. His concussion was healed, and his broken arm was mended. He had prayed, and all ailments were gone. But his pride and strength were not healed. He had lost. Westroe had free reign over Scezonia, the defenses were too weak and any missions were too dangerous as his demons patrolled the nation. Hundreds had been slaughtered in Miami, just as a diversion for wiping out an entire Region- and 3/4 of the American magicians.
Worse yet, he's been having... dreams, no nightmares. He had no idea whether they were magically induced or if they were simply trauma from the original vision. It didn't much matter. In all of them, fire and brimstone covered the lands. The Atlantic was turned into lava, while the lands were swarming with locusts and flame. Demons covered the Earth as all magicians perished. It was the same thing over and over again. But he had been seeing new items intermittently. A woman in gleaming armor on a stallion, St. Gabriel standing on a sheet of whiteness. He hoped these could mean something, maybe even be the key to defeating Westroe and his band.
Once Cortot became well enough to move, he once more launched himself in his work. He began exploring the section of the Library reserved for the High Acolyte to find texts on Satan. No text proved helpful. But one text, the Holy Book of Prophetic Visions, had a prophecy.

He knew not what this meant, but it was soon put out of his mind. In the St. Gabrielle Chapel, a young man appeared mysteriously. He was taken in by the Medics, but now the High Acolyte had to question him. It was a strange evening indeed.

Deadly terrorist attack kills 53

A deadly terrorist attack in the crowded Antarctic National Hologram Center in pinguinsburg has killed around 53 people and injured nearly 100. It is unknown who did the attack, but it is suspected that either A-FW or The Neo-Queen Maudists are to be blamed. In the skies over Nevada, the air is full of smoke from the advancing battalions of armored and mechanized infantry, as gunships fly in to counteract armored counterstrikes from the air. ADC-22s circle overhead, pouring down hate, as ADC-160s soon sweep in to engage from afar, sniping out anti-air positions and even hammering on tanks, the "arrows of death" raining down as not even C-RAM could hope to counter the crazy fast munitions before the C-RAMs themselves would be reduced to a crater.

The assault is slow, however, with the intended goals pushed further and further, even rapidly engulfing the Vegas Strip and possibly beyond that, though the mass migration to the midwest in the wake of these attacks put a strain on infrastructure.

Tales soon arise of "Gonswanzan gunships" and "impossible aircraft" pushing for control, with the 27th operating in the area to support the gunships while drones aid in further decimating positions. A colossus was even reported to be in the area, though that was proven after an entire platoon of US Army Rangers were wiped off the map by a "massed missile strike", which also took out any armor they had in an absolute fire storm.

The United States is still under attack, with the fires hot, and no end in sight.

Martial law has been declared in Indonesia and all forms of public transport out of the islands are prohibited as a no sail and the no-fly zone is under effect.

ISIS INSURGENCY CRUSHED IN SEIGE IN AMMAN

In what has been a growing problem with a decade and a half, it seems like the ISIS Insurgency, who at its peak power and occupation, had managed to occupy several major cities across Iraq, Jordan and Northern Syria in 2012, could be on its way out. Looking to continue their successful offensive from May, which reignited the fear of ISIS into Babylonians across the nation, mostly in the regions of Iraq, Jordan and parts of Syria, ISIS began an attack on the capital of Jordan, Amman, in an attempt to collapse the Jordan Regional Board and seize control of the region in a political sense. Several skirmishes occurred just a few miles from the capital, however, in recent weeks, Jordan's regional military, the RMOJ (Regional Military of Jordan) had rapidly deployed following an emergency session at the Jordan Governor Body's parliamentary building, and began to up-hold barriers and defences in preparation to an attack by ISIS.

After a swift evacuation of most citizens, with the Jordan Revolutionary Army, an independent branch of the regional military, it began a 3-week siege upon the capital of Jordan, with the first 5 days being an aerial bombardment of 1970's artillery. After a partially successful bombardment of the city, ISIS Troops, who reigned a similar number than the combined Revolutionary army and RMOJ, began an attack upon the Eastern Area of the city, quickly occupying the lightly defended hamlets of Siinkka and Bugha. A week of stalemate occurred, before a second wave of aerial bombardment, this time being a mix of the 70's artillery and the 1967 Torpedo Bomber, which had been stolen from a local hanger several miles outside the capital. With casualties low, skirmishes between ISIS Troops and the JRA in the Eastern and Northern regions of the capital, with little progress on both ends.

However, the third and final week saw a large assault on occupied territory in Jordan, the city of Al-Faydah, which had been the primary supply hub for ISIS's offensive in Jordan, had been successfully occupied by the RMOJ in a 9-day assault on the city. This left supply collapsed for ISIS and allowed a successful attack in the Eastern hamlets of the city, with over 750 ISIS soldiers either captured or killed within it. A last-minute counter-attack by a small battalion of ISIS forces was ultimately unsuccessful, leading to a withdraw of troops from ISIS. After the withdrawal, the Governor of Jordan announced victory in the capital, announcing that the troops are set to begin a "major offensive against the terror of our nation, our federation".

It is expected that ISIS troops will fall back to several smaller villages just 3 miles from the capital, of which the RMOJ are expected to begin progress on liberating the villages in a matter of weeks.

Economy set to rebound for end of Q2, despite rising inflation

Reports have come from the Department of Economic Measurements and Statistics that despite rising inflation, with it being currently at a 4-year high of 4.2%, an increase from last months 3.8%, the economy will see a positive economic input, although remains slim, with only a 0.23% increase in GDP. With the new "Green Energy Act" set to scrapped due to a lack of support, and an increase to employment, which is currently at 6%, the GDP is set to rebound. Reasons for the economic slump, of which saw negative economic output for Q3 and Q4 in 2021 and Q1 for 2022, have been far and wide. Right-wing parties have blamed the insurgency of ISIS, strengthen of Labour Protectional Boards and large increases to Minimum Wage, of which the Babylonian Nationalist Party has called a "disaster for small, medium and large business" - despite the country now at a 14-year record of consumer spending, although businesses closure and bankruptcy hit a 6-month record in recent years. The left have blamed stagnated wages, suggesting the comparison to the US is "morally wrong", and have blamed, united with the left, a lack of action against the ISIS Insurgency.

However, looking at the downward trend at the stock market and rising inflation, of which projections see inflation to rise to a 8-year high of 5.1% inflation, it seems as though this could simply be a blip, and that the countries economy is set to continue, similar to the Stockmarket, which saw an overall plunge of 0.4% in a 2-day window, into stagnation. President of Eastern Babylonia, Muhammad Al-Ruffic, announced that business are set to see government grants to local businesses in the coming weeks, as-well as emergency economic packages to Northern Syria and Northern Iran, who have seen the largest drops in economic output and consumer spending, in the next 4 days, and potential packages to Iraq and Southern Cyprus, who have also seen large drops in both local and regional economic output.

RSA moves up Lunar Trailblazer launch

New Rome, NRI – The RSA has decided to move up the launch of the Lunar Trailblazer launch. This decision comes days after it was announced that the Spaceborne Early Warning and Control satellite would miss its scheduled launch of 5 November 2022 due to delays in assembly. Lunar Trailblazer was scheduled for launch in January 2023, but this rover is ahead of schedule.

Lunar Trailblazer is a rover that will scout potential locations for the Roman-Dorian Lunar base on the Lunar South Pole. The rover is a major milestone in the program. Roman and Dorian, and more recently Shazite, space contractors have been working for a number of years preparing for the joint venture. The Roman government also plans on introducing a resolution to the IFC to give IFC members the option to join in into the joint venture.

Spaceborne Early Warning and Control is a joint program between the Roman Space Agency, the Republic Space Force, and space startup Solar Watch. The program’s goal is to create a constellation of solar orbiting satellites that monitor the solar weather. These satellites will operate as an early warning against solar storms can negatively affect electronics. These events, known colloquially as “Carrington-level Events” pose a major threat to the modern world which relies heavily on electronics. Having satellites that provide early warning of a storm of this magnitude will give nations and individuals the chance to protect their electronics before the storm hits.
