Amongst these...trying times in Europe; the Armenian government has made an odd decision, to say the least. Despite having fought alongside the Phenyzians in Turkey, and despite their common membership in the Global Entente of Nations and Alliances, His Majesty Gdridg II proclaimed its neutrality in this conflict in Europe, citing fears of potential nuclear exchange.
The Conference of Tsolakert, which concluded yesterday, was to discuss the distribution of Armenian troops across the globe; whether they be in the Caucasus, or Eastern Anatolia (A.K.A. Western Armenia) as a part of routine operations, or whether they be abroad as a part of peacekeeping and/or conflict, gradually shifted to discussing Phenyzia's heinous actions. When asked by reporters from Armenia News, Prince Soghomon Bagratuni, Chief of the General Staff, had the following to say:
In the meantime, the Armenian government has offered to serve as a sort of mediator, hoping to ease the tensions before the war (somehow) grows to something even larger.
