The New Era
Recently, in Staatza, the Government made the decision to follow its old traditional values. Today Richard Kirk, the leader of Staatza, is hereby declared Kaiser of The Staatzan Reich. His family will now be the Royal family of Staatza. With Friedrich being heir to the throne. And his daughter Matilda Getting a title as well. The Staatzan Heir is currently looking for a wife.

The Saatzan Government has said that "under the Great Guidance of our Kasier, we will find true glory".

In other news;

The Remaining Rebels who Recently rebelled against the Staatzan Government are being hunted down and killed by The Staatzan Police. This came after the rebellion in the town of North Talton was crushed. The Kaiser has said that these Rebels have "no point other than betraying this glorious nation".

The Staatzan Government have also Made the promise to protect Gonswanza in the case of an international attack.

Galador, Sombreland

Now, everyone in Sombreland, the old and the young, the tall and the small, the wise and the simple, were all engaged in preparing for the festival of the Lighting of the Turtles. This was one of the most important festivals of the year, for every Sombrelander knew that some of the oldest of the ancestors had been reborn into turtles. Turtles lived a long time, and were though particularly wise and harmonious.

But while this was one of the times that the Princess-Regent, Alavaine, loved the very most, she was very much unsettled by Laura Ortiz's response to her. Nevertheless, she sough counsel before she took any action. The Minister of the Left repeated remarks he had made about how the Kingdom had joined the KTO in haste, sponsored by relations with Anagonia. However, Prince Orian de Cressa, the Governor-General of Galador, offered his advice though it was not sought. He observed that the Kingdom had sought trade partners and allies from far away to avoid entanglements. Nevertheless, it was becoming clear that more solid agreements were needed. It was time, at last, to strengthen regional relations. And there was no stronger nearby regional neighbor than the Empire of Nifon. Accordingly, the Princess-Regent should, if taking his advice, court closer relations. There would be a price, of course, for such relations. The greatest one would be that Sombreland could no more be a hermit kingdom. What the Princess-Regent was hoping would be a brief period of involvement with foreign affairs while she focused principally on domestic issues would be over.

I am a young ruler, put into my position due to my grandfather, the King' having an illness from which he is yet to recover. While I have my own advisors and senior officials to guide me, I would like to reach out to you and ask for the wisdom and friendship, if you are willing to give it. Currently, I am trying to follow my grandfather's plan of widening our economic trade relations, improving our technology and labour force, dealing with an agricultural crisis, and improving our foreign relations.

You might be aware that recently we had updated our entire military through a very costly plan to improve training, accomodations, equipment and tactics. We have also made trade agreements with three other nations but not ones within our region. I have been receiving counsel from our financial institutions on how to improve foreign trade relations in the region.

These are all subjects I would appreciate your advice on, as well as having the opportunity to have closer relations between our countries. If you are open to this, I would be grateful for a response.

I am glad to hear that you share my concerns regarding Gonswanza. I agree that something should be done. In a recent public address, President Ortiz made it abundantly clear that she holds my government in contempt and does not see any common interest even though both our countries are in the KTO. Therefore some other action will have to be taken. Certainly we cannot allow a country like that to spread its ideology or ambitions abroad.

Perhaps the first thing that we can do is to make sure that we have exchanged diplomats of sufficient authority, and begin talks regarding cooperative action to mutual benefit? I would also recommend that we reach out to other like minded nations. Every country, of course, must be led by people who can make tough decisions, but it also must be led by persons who can be reasonable. Let us try to build good trade, diplomatic and military relations.

Meanwhile, on the moon... The LAR (Lunar Armed Republic) continues to operate, receiving a strange shipment that was within a large suitcase, being pulled around by an unmanned mobility vehicle, akin to the MULE of WWII. Yet, when the package is checked, there's an odd set of instructions with it, which are later read off by the crew handling the device.

After some mild panic, it was understood what must be done... But was it worth it? It was, after all, inert. But could it actually be done?

Only one way to find out, of course, as the device is loaded into the mass driver and later launched back to earth.

Weeks later, it would be "caught" by a Gonswanzan station, with the findings reported back to LAR and Gonswanza.

"Package secured, mostly. Harsh acceleration and deceleration damaged internal instruments. Further testing needed."

Of course, being delivered via short radio bursts on an encrypted frequency with zero context made it difficult to understand just what in hell they were talking about. Even if it was intercepted fully, for all one could care, they could be talking about an autonomous program to speed up deliveries. But it was awfully strange that such a method of shooting things back could actually cause damage to "a device" when it was commonly used to transport minerals and processed goods back to Earth. Then again, not all electronics are made equal.

The Countesian-Marajarbian diplomatic crisis has seemed to take yet another drastic turn as it was announced this afternoon that Alex Bledel, the former head of the Countesian Federal Intelligence, has been granted a full pardon for his crimes of gross negligence. It was also further announced that he would be returning to the CFI as consultant.

This comes days after the CTAO trial in Wallowis came to an abrupt end as Alex Bledel, accompanied by his lawyer, Paul Rightman, stormed out of the courtroom after the latter declared the entire trial null and void on the grounds that Wallowis repeatedly swung the trial in favour of the Marajarbians even after being showed leaked footage from the conference. Despite this, Alex Bledel and Paul Rightman somehow managed to avoid arrest and subsequently made it back to Countesian soil unharmed where Mr. Bledel was taken back into custody.

After the safe return of its two citizens, The Countesian Government would go on to back up Rightmans claims and officially declare the entire event a mistrial due to Wallowis breaking neutrality many times to favour the Marajarbians. Despite being an ultimatum to accept the CTAO ruling or face an embargo from CTAO, Countesia still refused to acknowledge the trial as legitimate and has officially declared that the Marajarbian government, and the family of the deceased representative killed in Aursi, are entitled to nothing.

According to sources from within CTAO, the vote of an embargo has failed to even rouse the attention of the organisations own member states. To add to their woes, Armenia, Countesias fellow KTO ally, withdrew from the organisation altogether. In response to this, Wallowis has now put legislation up to vote in an attempt to create the position of chairman to allow himself to force the embargo against Countesia into power.

In response to the questions being put forward as to their decision to reinstate a man they had arrested for incompetence, Prime Minister James Emmanuel would go on to say

"Despite Mr Bledels lack of success at containing the P.E.U, he was correct in his decision to consider the Marajarbians to be a bigger threat. It is an honor to finally address you personally, Princess-Regent. As has been brought to our attention, the actions of Gonswanza in China are beyond horrible and constitute some of the gravest crimes against humanity I've witnessed during my tenure. We applaud your public statement against Gonswanza and would like to formalize an arrangement between our countries to present a united front in considering appropriate actions and humanitarian efforts regarding this crisis. Also of concern to us, as you may know, is the situation concerning the persecution of LGBT Livonians, which we see as an relatedly pressing issue in the arena of international human rights. Together, let us work towards a better, safer, and more humane future.

Nearing the end of her business day, Governess Ilyas was going through the last few international situations that her advisors thought she may be interested in. So far she'd seen some insignificant nations were again sabotaging their own population by saying who they loved made them undesirable. She tossed it aside, if some backwater nation wanted to waste its time policing its own people's bedroom activities, they would fail as a state soon enough and be engulfed by one neighbor or another. Furthermore, there seemed to be some kind of rumbling going around regarding her trading partner Gonswanza and some kind of killings in China.

Now, her advisory staff approached her and made it clear, that most nations view killing civilian populations as a bad thing.

"What do you mean? They are in the enemy nation right?"

"Yes Madam Governess. They were allegedly Chinese civilians and Gonswanzan soldiers. Therefore, if it did happen, its just the Gonswanzans denying their enemy resources. Do we fight any different?"

The room went quiet, some of the newer members of the advisory board hadn't been there long enough to know exactly how the Governate was permitted to conduct war. That was when one of the senior advisers spoke up.

"We are still exporting Copper, Oil, and Natural Gas to Gonswanza. Be these reports true or not, there are some various nations making very clear intentions of placing sanctions on Gonswanza. They may target our shipping."

With a very tired sounding sigh, the Governess responded, "That's none of our concern. We have a trade agreement to uphold and we aren't sanctioning them. Our ships continue to deliver the goods. The world should know better than to disturb our vessels as they make the passage to Gonswanza."

Unable to argue further, there was one other issue presented.

"Madam Governess, it seems the Armenians have lost their Emperor to what is claimed to be some kind of poisoning. We can't independently verify this or the source, though the current Strong Man that's formed a government there claims the Romans assassinated him."

Putting a hand up, Ilyas simply stood up and responded with, "We are working with them solely to acquire the lands that were promised to us in exchange for our service, and as members of their own alliance seem hesitant to follow through with those arrangements, I care very little for their internal power struggles. My only concern is keeping the 1st, 4th, and 6th Legions ready for battle in the Tabriz Satrapy. If they so much as attempt a military crossing into our Persian domains, the artillery there is to decimate any population centers."

Turning to one of the Persian Advisors she asks, "Our troops have reached the Jordan River correct?" He nodded and said himself, "The 1012th and 1013th Artillery Battalions have already set up their systems and pre-selected targets across the whole of the region. "

Satisfied with the progress she asked, "And Damascus?" The General looked a little less enthused here, "Still holding out. The city is taking heavy damage and even though we weren't planning to flatten it as we did to Baghdad, it seems we are more than halfway there anyway. The defenders are particularly stubborn."

With a sigh and a dismissive wave of her hand the Governess states, "That's enough, thank you everyone. I have plenty to think on until our next meeting."


Gonswanzan-Governate Trade Lanes

Shipping between the ports of the Governate and Gonswanza began to increase as what was clearly gas and oil tankers were being sent with increasing frequency. Adding to this, shipments of Copper was being sent periodically as well. At any given time, two or three dozen ships would be somewhere between the Governate and Gonswanza on this trade mission.

Lissy preps her statement, shaking her head at the fact that there’s apparently more going on than just the nonsense in Livonia. For instance, the whole Gonswanza Nanjing fiasco, in which…

“Don’t worry Liss, I got this.” Hilda has literally dropped in on the press conference, her scarf holding some notes of her own. “Been needing to work on my public speaking anyway.”

Lissy pauses for a moment. “Ah…are you…oh what am I saying. Go ahead, I’m sure you’ll do fine! Do you want me to step in at any point?”

“If I spontaneously exit the room, that’s your cue,” Hilda replies. She slouches over the podium, hollow eyes panning over her adoring people.

“So, uh,” she starts, “there’s this thing happening in China…” She shakes her head and quietly swears to herself. “Okay. So. Y’all know me at this point. Half of your leadership, amirite? And normally, I could not give two shits about what humans do to each other.” She gives a wry smile, there are some nods and chuckles among those present.

“But sometimes a group of assholes does something that just…it gets under my skin, shall we say.” There is the slightest break in her usual detached monotone. “Look, what I wanna say is…you don’t see our girls and guys going out and rape the locals when they’re on campaign, right? Sure, we come in for a little mindbreak, but we’re all right as rain afterwards. None of that lasting trauma bullshit. It’s…different. And we only do it to threats anyway. Gonswania or hm…Gon…swanza? Gonswanza. Yeah. Them.” She shakes her head, rolls her eyes.

“Look, if you’re a human, we’re evil. The dreaded scourge of reality, whatever. But this Laura Ortiz lady ain’t just evil, she’s freakin stupid, too. She’s perfectly fine with her troops making a sport out of despoiling in this day and age. Or something. I haven’t heard her say she’s not.”

“Okay, Lissy’s giving me a meaningful look, I’m gonna wrap this up. No, I’m fine, really, Liss…anyway. Gonswanza sucks. You’ve got the evil shapers saying that, good freakin job, losers. And to any refugees…come on in. We’re pretty good at easing the pain.” She floats off the stage, and Lissy embraces her.

“You didn’t do bad at all,” she says. “Got the point across. People really do suck, huh?”

“This should get that Sombreland ambassador off of our back, right? Multiversal politics, man.” She rolls her eyes, while Lissy chuckles.

The Princess-Regent, Alavaine de Cressa, was being brief on matters of foreign affairs. As she listened, her heart sank; things simply kept piling up, and boxes filled with printed out papers in the correct calligraphy were also piling up. The Director of Foreign Affairs, who had a dry but good reading voice, read her a letter from Prime Minister Delmaré.

The Princess-Regent looked to the Director. "What are LGBT people, Director? I keep hearing about them..."

The Director coughed into his handkerchief and looked uneasily at the Minister of Divinity. The Minister cleared his throat and bowed. "Majestic Highness..."

"Minister." her lovely voice was clear as a bell and yet soft and gentle.

"The people in question," said the Minister of Divinity, "Are persons who are perverse in their...personal appetites...err..." he began to flush. The difficulty was that not only was the Regent a goddess-descended sacred royal person, but she was also unmarried. No one in the room knew where to look.

It was the Lady-Countess Uwanda Carnelian, the pretty chief Lady-in-Waiting to the Princess-Regent, her dearest companion and her chaperone, who stepped forward and leaned to the Princess-Regent, adoringly moving a stray dark curl of hair from her forehead, and whispered into her delicate ear. The Princess-Regent fought to keep her eyes from widening and her jaw from dropping. Her cheeks flushed in such a lovely, sweet and vulnerable way that the Royal Captain of the Guard had to force himself to look elsewhere.

"I..thank you...Lady-Countess Carnelian...for...for..." the Princess-Regent drank from a glass of water. "Um..we will have to prepare a response..."

She and her advisors also watched the broadcast from Kuroluce. They did not know what to make of it; it came from a nation they had little to do with, and the leader or representative seemed to be drunk, ignorant of Gonswanza, and worse, had a bad understanding of Laura Ortiz. They seemed to completely underestimate a woman capable of getting people in her military to behave in a completely inhumane manner, not as a matter of a particular bout of vengeance or fury, but as a regular practice. Furthermore, the leader from Kuroluce seemed to be implying that she was not human. Regardless, she had also not expressed any desire to actually do anything.

Dear Prime Minister,

I believe that our thoughts are in a similar vein to yours when it comes to Gonswanza. The government of President Ortiz seems to be immune to persuasion without direct need being threatened; I have made multiple efforts that have fallen upon deaf ears. So careful planning will have to be put into effect. I would like to suggest that each of our governments have people endeavor to find out what Gonswanza needs most, and what Gonswanza fears most, in order to be able to put pressure on President Ortiz. I say this because while I think she may be evil and possibly insane, she is not stupid and she is personally courageous, leading her people by example. Once we have a more clear idea, I believe we would be able to act in concern.

As for the LGBT people of Livonia, I have only recently discovered that such people exist. We do not have them in my country, so there is next to no information about them, I am embarrassed to say. I presume that you desire to help them so that they can be liberated of their perversion and madness, which would require compassion and generosity, both of which I am prepared to offer. I do not know if you are aware, but I have military forces trying to help restore order in Livonia, so we would be able to help the Livonians by rounding up these "gay" people for appropriate institutions.

Even with the Chinese and Americans suffering, there still was undue punishment that was lying in wait for the Forgotten Resistance.

Indeed, when GoSA finally found a few fleeting dens in the most remote regions of Australia, India, even in China... They got to work.

Corpse Command was shipped out quickly, some even being thrown at the Darien Gap and Cuba where they lie in wait. They had but one mission...

Punish them.

That "punishment" would be as they saw fit, but the resistance was unexpected. In Cuba, gunfire rakes the streets as the forces engage in a firefight, mercenaries attempting to cover retreating resistance forces only to be cut down, as the members were later rounded up and violently broken before being left to die trapped in septic tanks filled with milk and honey, along with raw sewage.

In the Darien Gap, jungle warfare proved to be real hell, as the forces are deadlocked in a game of cat-and-mouse, some resistance members even getting eviscerated by their own traps, but like jaguars, Corpse Command hunts them down one by one to give them a slow and agonizing death.

In Australia, driving across the outback, potshots are taken with rocket launchers and AGLs, a rolling firefight as Corpse Command tries to hunt down fleeing Forgotten members, with anyone caught running on foot simply bisected by a Gonswanzan saber or run over by the commandeered trucks turned technicals. The outback's thirst for water was going to be quenched with blood.

In China, resistance members were aiding the Chinese in their desperate assault against the Gonswanzan military, even attempting to build dirty bombs to use against them, but that operation was shut down as Corpse Command resorts to leveling buildings, with fleeing civilians gunned down, and resistance members among them falling with them. There was no mercy to be had, much less any care for their mark. This was an active warzone after all.

In India, the Forgotten Resistance were preparing to mount an attack against Sri Lanka, perhaps inciting an insurgency with local groups, but their transmissions were cut off by the sounds of slaughter, as every last one was skinned and gutted like pigs. The buildings they occupied were also set alight, to hide any evidence of their existence, making it appear as if they had died in the fires. A truly horrific way to go, truly. In fact, some were even left alive, unable to walk as their Achilles tendons were cut or torn to keep them from standing.

All this, for the sake of revenge. And it will go on, as GoSA uses it's links to seek out the enemy.

They can't hide anymore. Nor can they run. They can only prey that they meet a swift and sudden end, something far more merciful than what's due to come.

Earlier today the LNP announced that they had located a tunnel network where many pro LGBT activists had hidden. Although many have been cleared, many have required members of the LDF to come assist in securing the tunnel networks. While the population of the territories being ceded back to the Governate from the Shah and his family had been enjoying religious freedom, that freedom did not exist within the Governate. There was indeed a state religion, and following the seemingly proud announcement by some upstart, pathetic nation that had the support of some neighboring borderline theocracies, Governess Ilyas went ahead and decided that, even if the Shah and his family were in the middle of leaving, she would deploy the company of seekers she had at her disposal to root out and eliminate any faith that was considered heretical to the guiding principles of Panko'yin.

Within hours of her orders being given out, the Seekers were deployed and with their authority over regular soldiers, they began their hunt. By the end of the first day, they capture nearly 4000 people who consider themselves to be missionaries, seeking to convert and subvert the minds of the subjects of the Governate. Another ~26,000 are taken captive as leaders of 'hostile belief systems' and are taken from houses of worship belonging to the various abrahamic faiths. The Seekers citing the devastating conflicts these faiths have brought to the planet as reason enough for their practices to be removed from the Governate. In all, nearly 30,000 people are captured in the first day alone and sent to processing facilities near the ports of Karachi, Kuwait, and Mombasa.

On top of all of this, in preparation for the announcement to be made all civilian air and sea travel were suspended for two weeks out of the country. While internal flights could be taken, they were not permitting anyone that could be deemed a danger to the nation onto those flights and cruises. Despite all of this, many christian, muslim, and jewish communities never saw so much as a single seeker enter their areas as their activites were deemed to be non-threatening and in some cases beneficial to the health of the nation and the community they were a part of.

The Satrap of Transoxiana was selected by the Governess to deliver a message. Two main reasons for this, one, she was a border region and the number of missionaries in that area was high. Secondly, she knew the woman was married in a style that the target audience would recognize and despise. Broadcast using the former stations in the nations that she ruled over, Satrap Barsine and a small entourage made their way up a stage set out before a sizable crowd of people. The Satrap herself was flanked by two white and green hooded figures. Gold colored weaponry hung from their hips and was carried on their backs. Behind them, a second woman, dressed in an exquisite gown and also had two of the hooded figures with her.

As the Satrap arrived center stage, a small procession of people, mostly young men, were brought up onto the stage with a cloaked figure at their front and rear. In all, six men and one woman were brought onto the stage. As they were made to kneel by their handlers, the Satrap began speaking.

"Recently, our fellow humans across this planet have begun to revert back to their savagery. They have started to persecute anyone who doesn't fit into their narrative of human history. Livonia, a small frail nation has chosen to attack a most vulnerable community. One whose only crime is asking for the right to exist like any other human being on this planet. Their punishment for this crime? Death. The Livonians have confirmed that there have been deaths involved with their activities and it is highly suggested by their announcements that they intend executions for those they convict of being true to themselves."

She takes in a deep breath and holds her hand out towards the woman in a dress seated behind her, "As many of my citizens know, I am happily married to my wife Roxana. This wasn't possible under the national government we lived in before the Shah's armies came here. Despite that, we lived peacefully as leaders in our community and as elected officials to our districts for decades before we were legally permitted to say that we loved each other."

She then turns to the assembled group on their knees. "In accordance with the laws of the Governate and at the orders of Governess Ilyas herself, the Seekers of Nika have been deployed across the whole of the Governate. This was a planned operation and its timing was only pushed up as a retaliation for the dehumanizing treatment of the LGBTQIA community in foreign nations. It is illegal in the Governate to attempt to subvert, coerce, or otherwise distract from the glory of Nika. Religions deemed to be heretical, dangerous, or hostile to Panko'yin, the Governate's state religion, are outlawed across the nation. The act of having a faith different from Panko'yin is not illegal in and of itself and many religious organizations will see little or no change over the coming days and weeks. However, before you stand seven self-proclaimed missionaries from the European Continent who wished to spread their faith to those who wished to live their lives. I will now have them stand and state their names and place of origin."

Without missing so much as a beat she put her hand out and a spear was given to her. She stepped in front of the man in the middle, while the six Seekers stood behind the others. [HEADLINES] Slave Owners Band Together In Attempt To Kill Order #3

Today the Supreme Court Of Makko Oko has publicly announced that a lawsuit against the Emperor himself filed by a coalition of slave owners for the recent enactment of Order #3 that was requested to appear in front of the Supreme Court Of Makko Oko had been turned down for being "An issue that while begs constitutional jurisprudence, clearly is a feeble attempt to make a mockery of our justice system". A spokesperson at the Ministry Of Justice has added to it, stating "This case has an obvious result, and not one that we need a trial to figure out. This case would be blatantly wasting government resources and taxpayer money, therefore, the MOJ has instructed all courts to deny any case having to do with Order #3."

The coalition, named the "STOP Free Employment Coalition", had many rather infamous and unpopular, names of major slave owners, including even a portion of tiny and miniscule slave owners. Filled with over 600 individuals with varying amounts of wealth, it was a quite powerful coalition, one of the strongest seen since right before the Civil Transition War. The coalition was formed only a week after the enactment of Order #3 by Emperor Conall Solis, still seen as one of the biggest moves in human rights in the empire's history.

Some analysts believe the Emperor did it as a tactical measure to ensure that the general population remained supportive of the government.

The Emperor could not be reached for comment on the case.

Burnt Body At Erma Barrows' Mansion Positively Identified, Erma Barrows Dead

Today, after much waiting on the part of the populace over a particularly popular case of arson at infamous slave owner Erma Barrows' mansion, the one burnt and charred body found at the scene has been identified, says the CCS Chief, Scott Wolfe. The body was that of Erma Barrows, who Chief Wolfe also stated to the press had been stabbed prior to the fire. The NSS has stated that due to her death, they will be assisting the CCS with the investigation, a major development in an already pressing case of who killed Erma.

Only 7 of her over 300+ slaves have been located thus far, and officials refuse to disclose the matter of how they were found and identified or if any of the found slaves were involved in her death. According to Chief Wolfe, the search for the other missing slaves are still in progress. Emperor Announces Expansion Of Law Council, Hints At Constitutional Reform

The Emperor today announced on live television that the Emperor's Law Council, the nation's official law-making body, would be expanded past judges and lawyers to other government officials, to not only bring more knowledge, he said, but also to bring more specific expertise in the way of some laws like education. In addition, the Emperor hinted that these changes would be in preparation for a planned revision to the Basic Rights Of Makko Oko, the nation's Constitution, in order to affirm the rights of the people. The Emperor refused to go into specific detail on the changes that he wanted made, but according to government insiders, discussions on the proposed changes are already underway, with a representative of the MOJ stating under anonymity that "The government is still fairly new, unlike all of our allies, we have only formally existed since 2019, so we have much maturing and growing to do, in order to become perfection".

The Emperor stated that all government departments, subject to his approval, are to send 1 representative to join the Emperor's Law Council, until either their retirement, dismissal, or the department sponsoring their representation changes their representative. This would mean over 30 individuals at a minimum would be eligible to join the council, greatly expanding the amount of members.

The Emperor stipulated that the membership changes would go into effect at the 2nd Session, which would begin in 2023. The Emperor for the first time, declared that a session is a term to last for a single calendar year, and after that, membership must be renewed. It would be the first renewal for every member of the council, which has been mostly silent since the last law it got enacted, the Imperial Copyright Act.

Emperor Codifies Witness Protection Program, Establishes JES

The Emperor has today codified the Judiciary Act, which is a major win for advocates that want crime stomped down. The law establishes the Justice Enforcement Service, an MOJ law enforcement arm that protects courthouses and ensures a safe and secure prisoner transfer. The Minister Of Justice, Sara Mauer, said in a statement to OkoTV News "The Judiciary Act is not something I personally expected, but it is something that I had asked for, in terms of the courthouse protection, and I am forever grateful that our leader listens to the calls for justice. The MOJ may now prosper and move forward ever more with this law."

The law, civil rights advocates say, is just spelling out danger with the broad power to "enforce the process of justice and execute orders of the MOJ". The MOJ however states that its orders are only ever in compliance with the state and its laws, in addition to the mandates set out within it, and does not abuse the power of an order, even before this law came into enactment. This is soon to be found out, with the JES already preparing to begin operations with a portion of the former budget of the CIB allocated to the agency.

In addition, the witness protection program of the nation, only ever before being an unofficial, and even secret, program of the nation's police force, has been made public and codified as an official national program, with varying jurisdiction. The procedures for said program and its operations are to be set by the JES.

Slaves & Impoverished Youth More Rebellious, Study Shows

Today the Ministry Of Education & Propaganda has released publicly its results from a 2-year study on activities of slaves and impoverished youth throughout the state schooling system and private schooling up to secondary. Done in collaboration with multiple other departments, including the Ministry Of Internal Security and the Emperor's Civil Control Service, the study showed that on average, slaves and the impoverished youth population were over 100% more rebellious than similar youth of a higher class of wealth. Compiled data from across Makko Oko's state schools shows that while there is rebelliousness among every type of youth population, it was only around 58 for every 1,000 students while for slaves and impoverished youth it was double that, with 600 for every 1,000 students being rebellious.

According to the report, reasons for this being the case can stem from many factors, with just some of those being:

- An inability to afford schooling, and when it can be afforded, sacrifices to life must be made (for slaves only)
- Food insecurity
- Troubled life
- Bullying

In addition to this, the Ministry Of Education & Propaganda has stated that a lack of proper teachings, and the lack of well-paid teachers in poorly-funded schools, is one of the biggest, if not the biggest, reason. The ministry in its report had listed some of the most poorly-funded schools and their rebelliousness rate, with over 75% of them having a rate of over 20% of the school's student body taking part in those activities, with the rest having a rate of under 15%. The national average for youth middle-class and above, including foreign exchange students, had been, for the most part, under 5%.
