To counter mounting tensions with world terrorist Mitheldalondia and to counter

their supposed entry into the newly denazified People’s Republic of Ukraine, a

joint delegation from the governments of the UNR, Uralia, and Chernarus, with

military protection from our Armenian comrades, will conduct a referendum

tomorrow at 12:00 local time to vote on whether any provinces of the UNR choose

to join the Trans-Uralian Federation. International advisors are welcome to overview

the referendum in any UNR Oblast if any nation had doubts regarding the legitimacy

of the referendum.

The Staatzan Government Says that this is a Good Move by Trans-Uralia. We support the Trans-Uralian Government in its rightful cause.

Meanwhile, in Staatza, a small group of Capitalist Rebels have been crushed by the Reichsarmee for Inciting Violence and Dissent. The Rebels have since been Executed by the Command of Supreme Comrade Richard Kirk. Nobody shall be allowed to dissent against our Glorious Government. We wish death to all traitors.

An Announcement is made and The Government of Staatza has Declared dissent a death penalty crime.

OOC: Just to be clear, are you holding a referendum in the provinces you still occupy (which I assume to be the ones colored in red here that weren't also ceded to Uralia here, or are you trying to hold one in the provinces you don't occupy as well?

I'm willing to concede your ability to (debatably) legally hold the referendum and have Armenia move forces in unoccupied provinces, given that your puppet government would presumably give you permission to do so (Though Mitheldalond will IC consider it another illegal invasion since they don't recognize your puppet government, they may not be willing to actually try to stop the referendum). I'll also concede that you'd be able to exert enough control over the polls to win the referendum in any occupied provinces (since Ukraine is an NPC here, it makes at least some sense that you have some OOC control over areas you occupy IC).

But considering that IRL Ukraine has spent the past year clearly proving that they are violently opposed to becoming a part of Russia, and since they're an NPC, it makes the most sense to assume that the NS version would behave the same way as they would IRL. So I'd argue that any province you don't occupy should vote against joining Uralia. That doesn't stop your newspapers from claiming otherwise of course, but I'd just like to make sure we're agreed OOC that those claims are untrue beforehand.

The Workers of the tunnels were quickly getting stuff packed for a shipment to 2 destinations the first one codename “Uruguay” the items contain the specifications and schematics acquired from examining a shot down B-2 bomber along with it surviving engines and avionic equipment along with the bomb bay doors taken from the wreckage and were shipped to Gonswanza another one codename “Okinawa” which also contains the schematics and specifications along with Oceanian improved copies of the F118 engines and were shipped to Janpia.

In order to prevent interception fake codenames and departure dates were made to confuse the enemy and the Oceanian Navy and Airforce were to escort the cargo to their destination.

In the R&D department the team have managed to develop a prototype model of a new stealth bomber undergoing trials to see if the design is feasible.

I'm doing the referendum true Russian style. It does mean I'll have to fight an insurgency for awhile but even that was done irl.

Aumbura Bans Fascist and Autocratic Political Parties

Following a vote of 89 to 11, Aumbura's parliament has officially levied a ban against any political parties that advocate for fascist, or autocratic values. The ban does not make it illegal to be a supporter for advocate for these ideologies, rather it renders any official political party that espouses them illegitimate and uneligable to officially run in elections.

The decision comes shortly after last week's riots in Drosda which killed 4 people, when which far-right gang members attacked local minorities, and destroyed government property. Following the attacks, many arrested expressed feeling inspired by Nazism, and the values of The Homeland Party, a far-right political party known for advocating against immigration, and equal rights for members of the LGBTQ+ Community.

The Homeland Party has since been made illegitimate following the passing of this new law, with party leader Dorymer Wenzag, currently under investigation for inciting the riots, expressing great dissatisfaction with the ruling.

"This is Socialism at its most vile, evil, and tyrannous," Said Wenzag. "This violates my right to speak, and my right to defend and advocate for my country."

Conversely, President Leland Friece praised the law.

"With this law, Aumbura only becomes safer," said Friece. "Democracy cannot survive if we allow autocracy to be viewed as legitimate. To stay in power, democratic parties must be elected again, and again, and again. Autocratic parties only need to win once. If you care about the voice of the people, you'll protect it with all the force you can muster."

The new law is nearly identical to that of Germany's ban against extremist parties.

Parliament member Eva Farut called the country an inspiration.

"Germany's laws regarding things like Nazism most definitely helped drive our decision forward," said Ferut.

In a move that nobody probably saw coming since the island fell to Gonswanzan forces, Parliament, not the Glorious Leader, finally approved of a project to modernize the island and "turn it into the largest carrier ever made". Missile Attack In Gyzantian Civil War Kills Upwards Of 500, Destroys Port

In Gyzantia, a recent missile attack, reportedly from the socialist faction, has struck Port Nithu. Many structures and port facilities have been damaged in the strike, shortly after the bridge between the technate and the republicans was felled, within mere minutes. Laura Ortiz herself denies Gonswanza's responsibility for such attacks, though it does appear suspect that the socialists would be to blame. Regardless, it could be possible that a third party has decided to take up arms, aiding the socialists by pulling technate forces away from the front to reinforce the rear. A smart decision, but one that cripples the front. Even as the Gonswanzans fight on, bravely, one has to wonder if perhaps the lines of war are as clear as some may claim, or if perhaps they are being blurred as we speak by internal strife and sabotage.

Laura Ortiz commends Reaper Squadron and grants them heavy praise for Operation Back Breaker, passing on approval for further strikes deeper into the Technate, but with a new plan of attack. As unrest continues to rise in the Imperium, more and more mass demonstrations are occuring as well as insurrections in most provinces. IRT asked major government officials on their thoughts on this.

Hovsep Avietissian had - for reasons unspecified - resigned from his post as prime minister earlier today...leaving the position vacant for many an hour. Per the decree of the National Assembly - of which was made after a narrow vote - the decision was made to, interestingly enough, place Sergey Akimov - the long-serving Governor of Constantinople and the head of the Imperial Guard - in said position...citing the general's 'commitment to Armenia and the Armenian spirit' as reasoning. While many a critic - especially from many a left-leaning party (of whom, for the most part, go un-represented in the National Assembly) has called this move 'undemocratic' - the honourable Smpad Bagdazarian simply stated that there 'was no time for a proper vote', and that 'in uncertain times like these - all decisions must be made swiftly'. Indeed, Twas quite the sight...watching the general take an oath to 'defend the church and its interests, no matter what' during the event...making him the second prime minister to do so, the first being the aforementioned Avietissian. Akimov - himself the architect of much of Armenia's territorial growth - is widely speculated to have been the second-most powerful man in Armenia long before his appointment...and as such, is often nicknamed 'the man behind the crown'. His brother - Vitaly is also known to lead the Grand Alliance - of which currently dominates Armenian politics...and of which has brought about great glory to the empire - having voted almost unanimously for the invasion and subsequent occupation of the Balkans. Indeed - Twas, by all means, a rather predictable choice.

Indeed, his tenure is to be one of great interest...and perhaps, just perhaps, great stability.

Unanimous decision for UNR to join the Trans-Uralian Federation!

The referendum results are in, after a couple of hours across

the nation, every single oblast in the UNR has officially voted

to join the Trans-Uralian federation. Integration of the oblasts

into the federation will be complete after about a week.

Sansakan Island

After a long work at the Sansakan Island, the airbase has finally been finished and inaugurated by the Revolutionary Council, with a small joyous celebration at the airbase itself. In a statement, the RevCon representative who just arrived from Kalingrad has stated that the Sansakan Airbase will increase the Janpian presence in the Union Islands, further strengthening the Union Island's defenses, and adding security and order to the far flung Janpian island territories. The first Hisshin jet of the Sansakan First Strike Wing has also landed, beggining the small celebration for the workers that paved the runway, built the port, and other defense infrastructures. Over-the-horizon radars, fire control systems, and SAM batteries are also placed, while a singular train track line has also been put into service, which provides convenient stops from the pier, airbase headquarters, barracks, and revolutionary kolshaks. A fly-by was also commenced, with a 5-plane formation flying in a V formation, before branching out with the colors of the Janpian flag. The Revolutionary Council representative also overseer the activation of the 1st and 2nd Sansakan String Wing, which will patrol the Sansakan airspace and the Union Island.

In the mean time, with the airbase completed, so too the gigantic genetic engineering laboratory. It was constructed with the code name "silo", in order to pass the currency transparency documents, and to fool everyone that they are building ICBM silos instead. Though of course, the construction of this underground facility is separated from the Airbase workers, who still do not know the true purpose of the Sansakan Island. With solar panels and oil depots constructed, the facility is powered from underwater pipelines, directly connected to the major islands of the Union Isles. The aerial view of the facility is also similar to an ICBM facility, enough to fool anyone watching from the satellites and to ignore it as part of a major Janpian military base. While celebrations are going on at the airbase, ships from the Maricha harbor were currently enroute, escorted by a Helgo-Class Corvette and a Krobaschna-Class Cutter. These ships are carrying the research materials from the Khavarak Research Union, which also includes the slimes from Gonswanza, American prisoners, genetic experiments, and among others. Soon, the island known for its santan shrubs and white sands will be a place of horror and the losing faith of humanity.

Caught RED-Handed: Albanian Terrorists Detained, Hung in Tirana

National Security Service agents partaking in training exercises in occupied Albania

As is expected - the National Security Service has confirmed that, especially in and around Albania - many a terrorist group has sprung up throughout the Viceroyalty of the Balkans. Though most of these groups have - time and time again - proven themselves to be irrelevant and utterly incompetent, some have managed to gain quite a bit of traction as of late...especially those that consider themselves to be on the left of the political spectrum. The most notable of said groups - the Balkan Liberation Army, often referred to their abbreviation: the BLA (Albanian: Ushtria Çlirimtare Ballkanike/UÇB) - has often been noted for their brutality and worship of Enver Hoxha - the brutal Stalinist dictator that ruled over Albania from 1946 until 1985. Fittingly enough - amongst authorities the BLA is known as "Hojayi btsery" (lit. "Hoxha's bitches"). Indeed - they have proven to be quite the pest - and as such, Twas of great delight when members of the National Security Service uncovered a large, underground, arms-smuggling ring run by the BLA. With great haste, all of whom were involved - of course - were immediately detained and, without trial, hung at the gallows. Tis a fate fitting for degenerates...

Amongst the most notable detained was Kodrane Jusufi, the leader of the Tirana Sect - and Shkëlqar Muslimi, once believed to be a member of the Albanian parliament. Twas they who were hung first - in front of a large crowd - followed by their followers. Some have criticized decision - claiming that, were the two kept alive, the authorities would've likely been able to sweat them for more information...yet - nonetheless - it has often been cited that, chances are, they would've been executed anyways. Their bodies were - as standard when handling terrorists - cremated...and their ashes tossed into the Lanë. When asked to make a comment, the Governor-General of Albania simply stated that, 'there would be no rest until all extremist groups were snuffed out'.

Slipping into an undisclosed port in Gonswanza, the transport arrives to "Uruguay", with the transport seized temporarily as the materials were taken in, then the crews left to depart after being given amnestics to not recall where the port was, or why they were in Gonswanza. They'd be confused, but soon escorted out by patrol boats and later a cruiser to allow them to steer clear of reefs.

[HEADLINES] Emperor Rules On CIB's Existence, Splits Agency, Powers Limited

Recently, it's been heard that the government was looking into the powers and authority of the Censorship & Intelligence Bureau, who was suddenly shifted with no notice over to the Ministry Of Education & Propaganda from the Ministry Of Internal Security. Today, however, a major 180 has been taken, and it's been announced by not only the Emperor themselves but the Ministries Of Justice, Defense and Internal Security. They all said vastly similar things, with the major differences being in perspective and in some cases, different information being provided.

The Censorship & Intelligence Bureau, existing since July of 2019, soon after the Civil Transition War had come to a close, has now been split into 2 separate agencies. The intelligence portion, being spun-off into the Foreign Intelligence Service, which will be overseen by the Ministry Of Internal Security, and the censorship and information control, being spun-off into the Directorate Of Information Control, which will be overseen by the Ministry Of Education & Propaganda. This officially means that the CIB has now been dissolved after 3 years in existence, and an ever-building questionable history.

This all built up to the new and widely unexpected enactment of the Foreign Intelligence Authorization Act, which, putting aside the title of the legislation in question, is a law enforcement and intelligence powers regulatory act, meaning now there's written statute on the available powers that law enforcement may use and exercise upon the people. The move was highly praised by most, with the entire government applauding the decision in their own press releases. For the first time in Makko Okoan history, the law established segregated powers between domestic and foreign, limiting authority overreach and abuse, in addition to mishandling of information.

The Minister Of Internal Security, Miguel Kellison, also made an announcement in yet another unprecedented move within the government stating that "All governments in any of our international programs, such as JCAP, have until this Friday to come to us with government proposals for building out intelligence partnerships, otherwise, we will be beginning to consider removal from such programs. We take security of the state very seriously, and for our related programs like JCAP, we expect that same priority, so show up or show yourself out!" This statement suggests a refined stance on security, both international and otherwise, due to the coinciding actions taken.

HE Government Approves Etheinia's Space Proposal

His Emperor's Government today officially announced publicly that Etheinia's proposal regarding space was officially approved. The proposal, offered on September 28th, would send Makko Okoan payload specialists from our government's NATA in their Buran space shuttle in 2023. It was a silent day at the People's Marshal Office. Surely, autumn in Janpian customs means peace and serenity, but to the current international events, that seems far from reality. After a long session at the UPMC, PM Natya skips and happily hops back to her office with her hands freely waving at her back, followed by her secretary who is carrying all her papers, bag, and folders, while trying to catch up with the speeding People's Marshal. Following the bombing and subsequent extract from Paris and a brief

resupply at an SFB hideout within the Romanic Imperium, the three

operatives had been scheduled to drive towards the border region of

Germania Magna, and specifically the Schwarzwald border. In order to

avoid any border checkpoints and not risk being killed, the three, how

armed with silenced PDWs, had driven to the edge of the woods and and

from there proceeded on foot to the German-Roman border. The three

had trekked through the woods in the direction of the border for a few

hours while avoiding any roads that led to the legal border checkpoints.

One the three had reached the fence which separated Germany from

Rome, they looked around for any spotlights or border patrols, and when

they didn’t see any, had quietly cut a large hole into the border fence.

Once the hole had finished being cut, the three went through the hole

in the fence one-by-one into Germany. From there they continued their

long walk to the nearest German village. There they’ll call for their

contacts in Germany to fly back into Uralian territory.
